been asking the same question for over two months, haven't even gotten the respect of a response. hating the staff, as usual.
which question is that? If you don't mind my asking, that is. ^^;
if they could add the ability for bidders to use commas when bidding in auction in mp
That seems like it should be an easy enough one to answer. :/ Even if it is just a "thanks for the suggestion, we'll pass it on to the devs," one like they usually give. ^^;
I would certainly like that option. certainly would make it easier.

This made me sad. At first I was like "Yeah! I was wanting to exchange potions too!" But then I saw... no plans at this time... could develop an alchemy formula.
I don't do alchemy and if they do it like most alchemy formulas (based on what I see others say) then the ingredients will be costly and difficult to obtain and the end result won't be worth much compared to what you put into it. "30 singe potions + 15 antidote potions + 3 death dealer potions + 1 angelic halo = 1 Mega Heal potion" rofl
Question: Would it be possible to get an exchange for Lake Kindred potions kinda like we have for fish? That way, we can 'upgrade' the potions we don't use, for ones we do.
We like this suggestion. We don't have any plans for an exchange at this time, but its something we could develop alchemy formulas for.
Honestly, I should probably participate here more before bringing up these suggestions, but these questions have always been on my mind so:
* Could links to the actual ATS forum posts be included with each entry? It just seems neater than linking to the guild post which includes multiple other queries that make things a bit hard to point out sometimes.
* What would you think of using Tumblr as a second archive for these questionsas well? It just seems easier to me since the tagging system there would mean no duplicate posts and easier changes to categories. The tags would look something like: [date], [asker's name], [staff's name], [category1], [category2]. If it seems like too much trouble to do it, I wouldn't mind volunteering for the task.

The By Date entry starts with a link to the Ask the Staff thread. Did you mean having each question link to the post in the thread where the question was answered? Or just having a link to the Ask the Staff thread in the Guild Announcement?

I'm not really going to have the time to keep that up, so if you want to, feel free.
Don't Give up on Creative Changes?/Applaud Distinction not Extinction
To catch up and become immerse in the "ambience/emo flow/ of this thread, I read this thread (as of today pgs. 1-4) and I hope that my response/reflection, here, doesn't come across too "Patronizing". But I found in real life situations, when I want an "Executable" change in a Policy/or/Practice, that simply asking for it would not get favorable results oft times. However, if in the asking a remedy/or/a fix is stated or implied with a request to suggest where else could this "change" be purchased or achieved, your request will, if its has an overall + effect for the company/or/site features, will oft times, be installed/or considered for future updates.
Example:
A former Postal Worker
While working for the Post Office, I asked a simple question> Who is responsible (which branch of procurement) for making changes with regards to the delivery system? < (using the technology that was present). This was with regards to in-house conveyance not Public Delivery to individual Customers. To make a long story short.. the technology that governed the directional flow .. along with the Video(conveyance belt's Flow efficiency)cams, and a system's alarm were incorporated into a "single robotic design" that relieved the stress in the "former" manner of conveyance(mechanical stress). It was accepted without any talks of how much money... So you see, Money is not always the only bottom line.. The solution to most "changes" should first of all "Resolve or Solve" : and "Add" Anew- during times when no "Stress" is evident to those who are "assigned" to create/execute the change/s.

I really really hope that not all the holiday events are going to revolve around lake kindred.
I actually don't like the game at all. If I wanted to play a game rather similar to pokemon...I'd play pokemon.
I'm sad that my favorite holiday is based around Lake Kindred. I was honestly looking forward to it until today. -heavy sigh-
As usual, ATS is full of vague, non-committal answers that make them sound like the replies you might get from a Magic 8 Ball.
...this is something that we can take a look into! We're still taking a look into this AWW. That would be fun. That may be a possibility in the future. >;D We will consider. We will consider this! We will consider it. There may be one in the future. c: I can't say it will never happen, but it'll be a rarity for sure. As far as all this goes, we'll consider it. We're definitely bouncing that idea around, AH. This would be so cute. ;3; We'll see. This is a good idea. We'll see about this. c: There isn't at the moment, but this is a good idea! We will see about that! AWW. This would be so precious. I love crows! AH. So cute. ;3;

I tip this post (if I could).
'We are working on it' is not an answer. They have been working on fishing since last year, supposed to be done this summer, maybe after summer because of the event and no update at this time. Seriously? Did they ever put in an announcement or Staff Notice that people could no longer keep the fish they caught because no captchas? It seems users have such great ideas, but never see any. Gaia is good at starting things and the finish is mostly (sad and) drawn out. Even if they say directly what they will do....mostly, they don't. It's almost painful to read ATS. Thank you Platonix, for making it more bearable. heart

Yeah, but "working on it" is (presumably) better than "we could consider that".
And yes, I appreciate Platonix's long dedication to this project so I can skip past the BS and look for any answers that I actually care about (or that are actual answers).

This is a question about the staff notice / post regarding planned forum changes.
In the chart they provided several forums (for example the news forum) it says they will "No longer be shadowed".
This is a question about the staff notice / post regarding planned forum changes.

It is not clear to me what that means. Anyone??
I suspect that's a reference to how subforums can appear in the subforum listings for forums that they aren't actually subforums of; just related to.
For example, the "Item Alchemy Exchange" subforum, intended for the buying, selling and trading of items related to the Alchemy feature, appears as a subforum of both the Gaia Exchange Forum and the Alchemy Forum. Technically, it's a subforum of the Alchemy Forum, but Gaia also causes it to appear as a subforum of the Exchange Forum because that's convenient.
I've never actually heard that referred to as "shadowing" before, but that's my best guess for what the chart is talking about.

Thanks, that sounds like a reasonable guess. I know in the news is in hot topics. Not sure where else it is. I usually just get there from having the url memorized in my browser.
I actually asked this when it popped up and this is what a forum assistant advised me.. "It means it will no longer appear to be a subforum of that section. Just as an example, the Gaia Guides & Resources forum is shown as a sub-forum in both the Site Questions & Assistance as well as the Gaia Community Discussion. The GG&R is a sub-forum of the SQ&A, and "shadowed" in the GCD."
