January 29th, 2019: it amy Champiri ArtThis came up in a GCD thread earlier this week I believe. What program(s) does Gaia use to make items? I'm sure it's changed over the years, but I'm super curious myself and I'm sure many others are, too. An artist responded in the thread! Our main program we use is Photoshop~ Lanzer Almost everyone use Photoshop for items I think. The only thing changed were the versions used.

July 2nd, 2019: Lanzer dreamsk Features?Any possibility of getting seasonal headers? The current one we have is beautiful, but it would really give some shine to Gaia to have different seasons of it! Looks like s**t, but yanno what I mean ! That's a great idea. I'll nudge the art team to see if we can make this possible

July 9th, 2019: it amy Operation Katana Registration Page and AvatarsHi, a month ago I asked this and had a response from Amy and said they were about to implement new avatars for the registration page. Is this still in the works? Also, what about an update for the registration/home page? Could be better to update it to attract new users. That's still on me sweatdrop I did take a week off in June and ended up spending a lot of my time planning/executing work that needed to be prepped for that week. I'll try and tackle it this month, my apologies! Lanzer Oh yes the new avatars should be ready, let me check to see when they can be implemented. We will have other updates soon.

August 14th, 2019: it amy MrTwinklehead Art With the recent art related contest it clearly showed that there are A LOT of really talented artists on this site. I'm kind of curious to know if there could be an official art sharing thread where the art in that thread could have a chance of being featured on the front page? Could encourage more creation and could also maybe serve as a nice way to find artists. Naturally, the art have to have some relation to Gaia Online and be within the site rules. If it would be implemented, it would also be nice if there was a "cool down" for each artist once they do get featured, because it would kinda suck if there was only a handful of artists being repeatedly featured if a lot of people do end up sharing their art in that thread. I was trying to get a submission page up and running a while ago but there were a few things I needed to be changed (on the backend) before it could truly be published. I can try and look into it again soon. Lanzer Definitely. I'd love seeing more art from fellow Gaians. I'll look into setting up something ASAP.

Thumbnails are broken all over the place in old threads due to the change from "s.cdn.gaiaonline.com" to "graphics.gaiaonline.com". If not automatic, as it could easily break some posts if they almost reached the characters limit or something else, at least a quick button a post writer could press on which would let them preview the fix before proceeding. Another possibility could be to have a button which allow users which find a post they want to see properly to view it with the content replacement. Guides and item lists are rather useful and a shorter way to edit them would greatly help. Good point on the broken images. We can add a filter to replace all the old URL to the new ones. Expect a patch within a week or so.

It was mentioned at ATS on Sept. 17th that one was being worked on. No worries if it isn't ready yet! I understand there are bigger, more important issues. *My threads/images have been fixed manually so I wasn't sure if anything would show up on my end or not. Hadn't seen anyone mention anything recently, either, so... dunno. Uh oh, I was sure I had a patch out just shortly after that ATS. Turns out my changes are still sitting in another branch. Will push it out right after ATS today. Sorry for the wait.

October 22nd, 2019: Lanzer Galphath ARTHello, would be cool to have a Gaia's artbook that featured concepts and full art from the beginning until now. Could be a physical copy and/or a digital download to remember past artists and see gaias evolution. Also pics if you hold pumpkin carving events this year heart We definitely should sift through our library and put together an artbook. Will probably release it online than a physical book as that'll probably end up being really thick

November 12th, 2019: Yuroppa salty boi Question Category: Art I'm actually not at all sure where to put this, but I recently replied in the "Show Us Your Favorite NPC" thread with an original drawing concept of Nicolae-- I guess my question is, if Fashion Fray is becoming a more integrated part of Gaia overall as many are suspecting, will there be an opportunity for community members to submit art for a fully-released game as well? This is a very interesting idea!! Perhaps we can provide opportunities for community members to submit bases, outfits, loading screens. I'll run it by the event team! Lanzer That is definitely possible. I would love to see other Gaian's artwork on quests or games on Gaia.

March 31st, 2020: Lanzer kdgalaxy Features?Hey everyone! Hope you all are doing well! Can you please remove the pink Valentines background? Tomorrow is April... lol Thanks! emotion_awesome Whoops! Seduces Purrstel Features/Items? When you guys release the Tie Dye list every season, I've noticed a lot of schemes are way out of date with the picture you use. I was wondering if maybe going forward we could start seeing more updated avatars on the lists with newer items of the schemes? Because honestly a lot of schemes could turn people off with how old they look rather than what they look like nowdays! When the images are made, the only schemes that receive new images are the new schemes or schemes that didnt previously have an image. Making the tie dye list is already a task that takes quite a while for me so making new avatars or pulling promos for schemes that are already well established is too much extra work as most ticket users already know the schemes except for the newer ones. Also users are free to look up schemes and see all the items a scheme provides whether new or old.

April 7th, 2020: Lanzer Yamka Jaden NPC'sAre there any plans to update the shopkeeper art in the future? Would really love to see Loyal's art updated. We are working on a lot artwork for the storytelling feature, hopefully we'll be able to add and update Loyal's art soon.
