February 27th, 2018: krissizle Castiel Lover EventsCan we please have item sink and gold sink events this year? With a lot of items being worth 1p or less, a lot of items are very hard to sell and not worth anything. With no 1p sell-backs on most of them, we need item sinks. Sure thing! We were actually talking about the item sink. 3nodding Thank you for your feedback!

December 19th, 2018: Lanzer Deus de Charity features i know inflation is a problem, and you guys are trying to switch everything over to platinum-only but that doesnt really solve the problem, just paints over all the 0s i think the only real way that gold is being taken out of the system is buying in gold shops [which people dont really do these days] and the marketplace tax. and when people are trading things super expensive, i just dont think thats really enough being taken out, compared to playing games and earning through zomg or LK i know the last owners did a terrible thing with the gold generators but they also had a lot of gold sinks where theyd have a RIG and achievements as rewards for paying out while im glad that the gold gens are gone, i think the gold sinks are a great way to get rid of gold in the system, while still rewarding people. perhaps re-release old RIGs that arent out in some way [like how LK has some, and the daily stamps has some, but thats not ALL of them, so you can use the not-used ones] therefore, it perhaps gets some items that are unlisted on the MP, back into circulation as well as sink some gold as well as gets more achievements for people who love those 3nodding or great cool new item sets for them, or something. i dont know, but i figured re-releasing old RIGs that are currently not in circulation might be a good start since you technically dont have to create anything new. perhaps have like 1 new thing at the very highest tier or something We do want to have more gold sink events, and there should be one in the near future. Though strictly for economy's sake, each gold sink event typically could remove about half a day or one full day's of gold generated from regular usage, and the effect was minimal, that's why they haven't been a high priority in the recent pass.

January 2nd, 2019: it amy Castiel Lover EventsSo, I want to thank you for the item sink.. But you did the same thing you did last time. You went off market pricing, making it possible for a gold shop emoji face to be turned in for over 2000 points, instantly finishing the event. Please, do an item sink again soon, but do it right: 1. Close down the gold shops during the event (and take the time to up the prices for plat [I'd go even further to say merge items of the same layer into one item to make them worth the new prices, ie all gloves in one item, all pants of one layer in one item]). 2. Make the event about the # of items donated, not the value. 3. Make a value part that doesn't count any gold shop items. 4. ??? 5. Leave the event running full time and fix the item economy. 6. Work on gold sinks (like expensive backgrounds in Dernier Cri). We appreciate the feedback and I also just have some personal thoughts on the matter, we know everyone is going to participate in the event at their own pace. Some people really only do have X amount of items in their inventory and Y amount of Platinum, so if they choose to participate that way, then I (personally) am okay with that! For everyone else who has hoarded things, caches, wing stamps, blue tank tops, etc, we think this is a wonderful opportunity for them to do some spring cleaning! At the end of the day, I believe, people will only get rid of what they want to get rid of, but if they happen to get rid of more than necessary, more power to them! I believe users still enjoy caroling and the items that come with it, so at the time, shutting down gold shops wouldn't have been in their favor. We plan on doing more sinks in the future when time and resources permit. There was a lot of consideration on high priced gold shop items, but from past feedback there is a lot of dislike from users when we tend to price anything higher than 500p in gold shops. But we will always be circling back to these thoughts as time passes.

July 23rd, 2019: Lanzer CraftyRani EventsJust today I was thinking about how nice it'd be to have a new kickstarter...Gotta say I'm dissappointed to say the least. [ referring to the new Gaia Cash Kickstarter "Jump Start". -Platonix] Have you ever even considered to have one as a goldsink? gonk There will be a gold sink in the future. We want to do both though resources are tight at the moment. it amy NocturnalVeil FeaturesJump Start - If I understand it correctly, those that purchase a rig/bundle with gaia cash will enter the guild and be able to vote for a theme, but not those that receive them as gifts or buy them from the mp? Correct, the guild automatically (now) adds Gaians who have made that initial purchase for any of the jump starts (single, multi-pack, angel, etc). If the original purchaser/owner decides to sell, trade, gift away their copies—they forfeit any of the items and additional prizes, but keep their membership in the guild (unless they choose to leave). it amy Lenoxia Jump StartSecondly, on to Jump Start itself. I feel like 3 weeks to get roughly 1.5m Gcash is a little bit insane; even if on the first day the jump is 100k GC, that means we have to put in 15x that amount in less than a month. It seems unfeasible, and looks like it's setting itself up for disaster. In the longrun, users get their funds back if it's not fully funded which is kind of comforting, but I guess it's just the idea that if this is how the monthly core CIs are going to go, why not remove the system overall and focus on other projects instead? Maybe instead of CIs, working on Project Recolor or Custom with the time/work that is normally put into the CIs? These are just suggestions and points I'd like to express, as this is an obviously new system both parties have to get an understanding for! This is actually a really low number/goal that we decided to move forward with it. This number is lower than what is usually garnered from the monthly CI, so we felt like it would be easily achievable especially within the 3-week time span. Advance Chance (if left in the store for a week), would make over half of this desired base goal we have set up for the kickstarter.

August 14th, 2019: it amy bug toots FeaturesSorry for the multitude of questions.. last one sweatdrop Is there any way we can get another Backer update in the Jumpstart Guild? It's been a bit since we've received one. I'm doing one later today, sorry for the delay. I had a ~life event~ last week that left me scatterbrained, and I got back this week to just play catchup.
