Grinning she kept sewing eventually approaching each of her team members to hand them their own flags. "No ya b***h none about having no flags."

To say Dictys was surprised at the gesture was an understatement. Ey'd been fairly certain that Atiqua disliked em - after all, why else try to play a power game? But perhaps this too was only her latest ploy.

Well, whatever it was, Dictys handed it off to an arbitrary recruit to fly as ey spoke. It seemed to attract more trolls to them, at least, so there was that!

Flags delivered, Atiqua was feeling pretty damn sweet. Pumped up with all the flags all over their 'base', she jabbed her own flag into the ground.

DAILY REFRESH!

It's a new day! The realities of the conflict are finally starting to sink in. Rebel attacks are becoming more severe. The Alternian Military now proudly lists a fair number of rebel casualties. Injured royalists and those willing to assist in the injuries from demolition and conflict in Old Hemisect are told to report to the Coastal Base immediately. Captain Puchen's offer has been taken back now that the rebels have a greater edge than the royal forces in the tide of battles. "Attention, all recruits," she barked over the radio. "Force is necessary to win this battle. If we cannot will them to our side, we will capture and punish them. Take them down."

Today's Happenstance: If a Royalist Team destroys a rebel base, they can quote a user whose rebel troll they have captured. The troll must make a post in the Royalist Team's thread and roll 2d6 to unlock a new coordinate. If they fail to find a new coordinate, they must roll 2d6, then 3d6, etc until they do so (accompanied by RP text). The first new coordinate rolled will be used (only 1 coordinate is to be unlocked through this effect). They cannot roll in their group thread until this is done. This can be used once per Royalist Team.

If a Rebel Team destroys a Royalist base, they can quote two trolls who have unlocked the coordinate that the destroyed base was on. These two must post once in the Coastal Base attending to their injuries and the injuries of others before they can roll again in their group thread. This effect can be used once per Rebel Team.

Each troll is refreshed and ready to go with 2 available actions.

You guys rule! Keep up the good work!

Refreshers:
POSSIBLE ACTIONS ARE:

Build: Roll 1D6 to build on a coordinate that you have unlocked – the roll result determines the durability of the base. You can also build on friendly bases to add durability, up to a maximum of 30 durability. You cannot build on a coordinate that already has an enemy base on it.
Trolls with training in Construction get a bonus to their roll:
Apprentice: Roll 2D6 Journeytroll: Roll 3D6 Master: Roll 4D6 Grandmaster: Roll 5D6

Rally: Roll 1D6 to organize defenders, which can be assigned to any coordinate you have unlocked. The roll result determines the amount of defenders you have rallied. Defenders will be on stand-by until you mobilize them. Defenders are the second level of defense that can be assigned to protect a base. You must use defenders to take out defenders if you want to demolish an enemy base!
Trolls with training in Recruiting get a bonus to their roll:
Apprentice: Roll 2D6 Journeytroll: Roll 3D6 Master: Roll 4D6 Grandmaster: Roll 5D6

Demolish:
Roll 1D6 to destroy a base on a coordinate that you have unlocked – the roll result determines the amount of damage done to the durability of the base. At 0 durability, the base is destroyed. You cannot demolish a base with defenders assigned to it.
Trolls with training in Demolition get a bonus to their roll:
Apprentice: Roll 2D6 Journeytroll: Roll 3D6 Master: Roll 4D6 Grandmaster: Roll 5D6

Intelligence: Roll a new coordinate (2D6). If you roll a coordinate you have already unlocked, the roll is wasted.
Trolls with training in Intelligence get a bonus to their rolls:
Apprentice: Roll 2 new coordinates (4D6)
Journeytroll: Roll 2 new coordinates (4D6); if at least 1 of the coordinates is not unique, re-roll 2D6 until a new coordinate has been unlocked.
Master: Journeytroll effect OR select one new coordinate from another team and unlock it. You must post with roleplay in your own thread and the other team’s thread for this to take effect.
Grandmaster: Journeytroll effect OR Master effect OR… Roll 1 coordinate (2D6). If your allies control the coordinate rolled: add 5 durability and 5 defenders to that coordinate (may surpass the maximum durability/defender limit by 5). If your opponents control the coordinate rolled: it loses 5 durability and 5 recruits (does not apply if the numbers would decrease past 0). You additionally unlock the coordinate.

Mobilize: Choose one of two options:
1. Send defenders from your stand-by or a friendly-base you control to any friendly-base on a coordinate that you have unlocked.
2. Assault an enemy-controlled coordinate that you have unlocked using defenders from a friendly base. Defenders must be deployed to a base before they can assault an enemy base and cannot attack directly from your standby.

POST IN THE WAR ROOM THREAD IF:

You build a new base on a coordinate
You reinforce a friendly base
You assign defenders to a base
You assault a base
You do damage to a base
You destroy a base
You use the Grandmaster Intelligence perk to affect a base

Abrila decided that instead of walking by her team mates, maybe it was time to tell them about the rebel base. Since Dictys asked, Abrila responded to eir first. "There's a rebel base at the shipyard warehouses. Looks pretty well enforced," she said. If anything had changed, she didn't know it, so she stopped there.

And then Atiqua gave her a flag with her symbol on it. A remarkably well duplicated one at that. Okay then.

"Um, let's just go..." she said to the defenders standing around, using her new flag to gesture in a random direction.

With the forces removed, Atiqua brandished her hammer in delight.

"Alright. Lets do this." Cracking her neck she winked at her team. "Let's see how well those chum chewers can build when faced with some goo 'ol pirate style razing of bases."

The defenders gon sure, but- "Oh s**t." Cursing even more as she felt her arms cry for a break she knew she might have slightly overestimated herself...or rather, under estimated the base.

"Uhhhhhhhhhh."

She radioed for so assistance.

"Hey yeah so I got most of it done but um.. there is still a tiny bit of base left." She paused. "I can't put my flag on that."

A flag with her very own symbol on it? Nervit may have involuntarily smiled. Just a small one, but it was a big step for the normally highly controlled lowblood. She then did it consciously as she curtsied to the other. "Thankyou, ma'am." Was her response.

As the base was attacked, Nervit shouted encouragement, Pyredad hanging onto one horn and frills flared angrily - very much like a certain seadwellers fins, perhaps? Or not, Nervit dared not assume what ey'd be like.

Laughter bubbled up from Atiqua as Nervit was well, nervous it looked like.
"Aw man don't get all shy my tea toasting friend!" She gave the lower blood a firm slap on the back, minding the lusus.

"Atiqua! You're supposed to call me Atiqua. I appreciate your props though!" Even as said base was still standing.

Hey Sunsetters, Sae here! In order to send defenders to assault an enemy base, they must first be deployed to a friendly base. It looks like Abrila sent 11 defenders to assault [6,3] without deploying them to a loyalist base first. We've decided to deduct Abrila's second move, which she would have had to use to send the defenders to attack [6,3]. In this way, her work isn't undone.

If anyone has any concerns, feel free to pm the mule or myself. Thanks!

Fine, Dictys would relent.

Perhaps seeing em do something they enjoyed would make eir lowbloods more willing to follow under eir direction. And besides: this was certainly something Dictys would have had them do.

Ey tossed the bomb haphazardly at the structure. Naturally, it hardly made a dent, but at least it was already mostly twigs.

With a toss of eir head, ey tried again with the other arm. At least ey could say ey hadn't personally constructed these...weapons.

Why didn't poison work on buildings at a rate quick enough to matter? That would be so much easier.

Atiqua noticed that the purple had begun to lob stuff at the base she'd just left. It was kind of funny to watch but also kind of sad. The sea dweller was trying so hard but...it wasn't doing a whole lot. Sighing she went to the hoity toity salt water snapper and handed them a megaphone. "If ya want to be captain then ya got to show em you mean business. Watch."

Taking a deep breath she yelled at what she assumed were fleeing rebels. Or maybe they were trying to return.
"HEY BOAT LICKERS- BACK THE ******** OFF. THIS GONNA BE OUR DOCKS YOU HEAR? I'LL SMASH MORE THAN JUST YOUR BASE IF YOU SO MUCH AS SET UP A BRICK!" She yelled, brandishing her demo hammer.

She grinned down at Dictys.

"Ya got to crush their spirit and their base- you feel me?" Looking back-
"Come on Nervit! Join the moral crushing! Let's make em piss their pants with fear."

"You could probably frighten them much more efficiently using a different method," Dictys replied - ey didn't really do shouting. When ey spoke, people shut up to listen to em. Or so ey claimed, anyway. Ey could admit to feeling a small amount of envy for Atiqua's and Abrila's near frightening efficiency with the demolition tools they'd been alotted. They really knew where to place those things where they hurt.

That was fine, Dictys told emself. Ey had followers.

"Perhaps follow through on one of those threats," ey added, fairly clearly callous about the actual consequences for the rebels. They were traitors, after all, no matter how much Dictys loved eir species.

It was then that Atiqua's mind and opinion of the young sea dweller began to shift. She liked the way they were thinking. Went wanting to add emphasis a few examples never hurt. "Like walking around the a bit of blood on my clothes that isn't my color?" She said with a smile.

"But of course my dear Dikery, I'll do it right on your beloved docks, just keep n eye on the clock." With a wink the teal blood went towards the waters, hammer swung back and forth as she began to sing as she began to 'go to town' beating on the rebel troll who'd been unfortunate enough to have been caught lingering.

A splash of yellow did look somewhat nice paired on teal.
