Mitsu made a slight pouty face as he turned to look away as she tried to inspect the bruise, her hand pausing inches away from him. He didn't usually brush her off but his words finally settled on her. "O-Oh. Working." She shifted the book in front of her to hold with both hands, crimson eyes trailing to Adam who seemed to be fidgeting a lot. "I see. It's nice to meet you."

Adam did what he could to nod politely but his focus was up ahead. "We should really get going."

"Is...there something wrong?" Mitsu turned a questioning gaze back to Shun but she wasn't sure if he would supply her with any details. At home maybe but here she didn't feel it was likely but she worried that whatever could be wrong involved the blossoming bruise on her reaper's face considering he hadn't had that this morning.

"Oh." Mitsu stepped aside so that they could pass. "Do you want me to come along?" She wasn't much of a fighter but Shun had managed to pound a few skills into her head. If anything she was an effective wall in her true form.

Whatever the decision was Adam wasn't waiting around for it. He felt too exposed where he was and started to hustle down the sidewalk again at a brisk pace.

"Ah!" Mitsu raised her hand toward Shun as he jogged off down the sidewalk. "Okay.." She watched his retreating back for a moment as he caught up with Adam tilting her head. Well, he really hadn't said no. What harm was there in just following behind to make sure he was alright?

With that decision made Mitsu began to walk in the direction Shun and Adam had left in being sure to keep track of their scent as they got out of sight.

The closer Adam got to his office the faster his pace got. As he reached the door to the building he was nearly running and hustled inside. The building itself was four stories high and it looked to house several offices within. It didn't look busy though. There was only a receptionist at the desk and no one else in sight.

Adam gave a look around as well and a casual wave to the receptionist when she gave him an odd look. "Second floor, right corner office.

After a couple of deep breathes Adam started for the stairs and headed up. It seemed a lot of people were off today. As they got to the hallway leading to his office they passed a number of offices with their lights off and the door closed. "Looks like everyone has gone home for the day." Which wasn't terribly surprising.

Nearly down the hall Adam pointed to the correct door to his office. "It's that one there." The door was close and the lights were off like all the rest.

With a nod Adam pulled out his keys and unlocked his office door. Beyond there was just a small office, a desk, a few stairs, filing cabinets and shelves. Nothing out of the ordinary and really no where for anyone to hide.

"Is it safe?" Adam looked behind himself just to be sure but there was no one in the hall. It seemed Shun hadn't been jumped so he made his way inside his office moving around to his desk to collect his things.

Everything seemed to be moving smoothly. Until there was a voice at the door.

"Hello, Sweetie." It was probably safe to say she had come from the office across the hall. The door there was now ajar and she stood in Adam's office door blocking the way out. She was a fairly tall woman, perhaps around six feet, a bit older but with obvious laugh lines in her face. Her smile was bright showing off delicate fangs and her pointed ears were barely visible in the mess of light brown curls that sat on top of her head.

The outfit she worn was simple though the gun at her side couldn't be misplaced. Nor could the tail that swayed idly behind her.

Amber eyes focused on Shun, her sweet smile never wavering though her hand rested on the gun at her hip. "I hope you don't mind. I've come to collect Mr. Klimek."

The woman had began to draw her gun but just as she brought it up to aim it was knocked out of her hand. Without missing a beat her other hand reached behind her back and produced another one and in one swift motion she had disengaged the safety and had the weapon trained on Shun's head.

The smile she had never shifted, it was surprisingly kind despite the gun. "Sweetie, I don't want to hurt you but I will if I have to." There was a slight British tone to her accent, though it was faded as if she had either worked on suppressing it or had just been around other people for too long.

"Mr. Klimek." Adam winced as she called his name, peeking over his desk where he had attempted to take cover. "If you would come this way."

"N..no." He stuttered out. "I'm not going back there. You don't know what they will do to me."

"I have a pretty good idea what I will do to you if you don't get up." Her tone was still calm and sweet. There were no doubts in her mind that she could do something terrible.
