[Intimidate Check 17 vs Bird Watcher]
[Awareness 32]

What a sight this place was, in more ways than one. Between the beautiful scenery and the mopey faces it was like a manic depressive's wet dream. Masaraku smiled widely for a moment as the this thought crossed her mind, but quickly forced it off of her face. She followed Batsu through the crowd to the old man and when he questioned about the bird watcher she said, "We caught this guy spying on the hills outside of town. We didn't want to let him run off just in case his story didn't check out. Do you recognize him? How long has he been in this village? And if need be, do you have a place were we can hold him for questioning while we search for the girl?" She stood him up and pulled down the rope enough to show his face, digging her thumb between the rope and pressed it into his kidney.

"AAAGH! GOD DAMNIT WOMAN, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" he shouted when her finger dugged deep into his skin. <********! It's me, old-rice, Kim!" Kim wiggled his body back and forth - trying to get out of her grip. "She is tormenting me! She's been doing it the entire way down from the top hills to here! Do we really need these people?! Such brutal types would probably hurt the girl more than save her!"

The old man chuckled and waved his hands up and down to try and calm the boy. "They were suspicous of you, my boy, they are here to help us" he directed his old, kind eyes to the Hoshigaki. "His name is Onatabe Kim, I know of him. He transports goods and what-nots to other villages. As well as occasionally farming together with the rest of us. My name is Hasate Itan, but people nowadays call me old-rice. Not due to my age, but because that I refuse to spice my rice in a certain why that has become a common habit of the other workers. I like it plain and simple!

His face grew serious as he realised that these people were here for a reason and not to stand and listen to his friendly stories He looked out in the distant mountains and was quiet for a moment. "Come, come.. We have to have tea now. Oh! But please, realease Kim first, I am sure he needs to get back to work" the old man smiled at the woman before taking his cane in a firm grip and leaned on it on his way to a nearby building.

Masaraku took out her kusarigama and cut Kim free, grabbing him by the shirt before he ran off. "Don't let the old man be wrong about you Kim, otherwise you might end up as Kim-chi." She discreetly slipped an exploding tag into his pants just in case they ran into each other again and pushed him off grabbing the rope, pulling it off as the momentum pushed him forward. She began to refold it as she walked behind the old man. She wasn't crazy about tea time with the old man, but whatever he wanted to waste time doing was on him.

Batsu overheard the threat made by Masaraku to Kim and he groaned in his mind as he followed behind the Hoshigaki.Overly aggressive she was and there really wasn't much he could do about it... not now anyways. But for the time being he focused on the mission... which was now headed towards getting tea. He was more interested in finding the girl before it was too late. However, finding out a bit more information about the village or the girl might prove to be a big help. Also, the thought of seeing Masaraku in a social situation might be good for a few chuckles. The girl, in his opinion, didn't quite come off as the most graceful and civil ninja in Kiri.

Kim ran in terror, away from his capturer, stumbling like a fool when his legs give in due to the burning pain that the rope had caused him, resulting in occasional coliding into people and buildings. As the Hoshigaki planted the explsoive piece of paper on Kim, she had done so in such exellence, diverting Kim's attention while at the same time dooming the boy with her nimble fingers. Not even the villagers that stood right next to them - spotted her trick. The Hoshigaki now had a perfectly good chance to light up some fireworks in Tench if she so pleased.

The old man entered the house and were immidiately greeted by a man in his 50's. The two men bowed towards eachother before the waiter or possible owner, gestured towards a single-chaired table next to the window. The old man then turned to the two shinobi and indicated that they too needed a place to sit. The waiter nodded in understanding and showed them all to a booth where they could be seated. But, due to all the equipment the two were wearing, they needed to strip off some of the weapons and items that they were carrying their backs. The old man took a seat by one side and gestured for the shinobis to sit down on the other.

"Well then.." he said with a sigh looking down at the table, "you are here to find Yoshima" he turned towards them with a strained smile. "that's good. She is a very good girl. You see.." he sighed again "This village has a secret. It is a secret that no one outside the village knows about" he chuckled some. "We've even been able to keep it out of your sneaky eyes and ears! Now wasn't that a feat? The-.." a tray was now delivered to the table. The old man stopped in his sentance to scope what they've just recieved. It contained a wooden box, a teapot made out of silver (that most certainly had been polished recently) and three white cups, with a blue forest and a creek drawn on each one. The old man clapped his hands in excitment and opened the wooden box. In it, were many different kinds of tea, each one in their own see-through glass pot. On them were lables, describing what they contained. Old-rice began to speak again as he reached for the vanilla and peach mixture and started to prepare his tea.

"Well, as I was saying. The girl is special to us, very dear. Not just due to her wonderful friendly nature but to.. Well.." his gaze turned to the window beside them as he stirred his tea around with a spoon. "You see the crops?" the crops were in the stage of being harvested. "It has only been there for two weeks.. That is more than half of the time that is needed for rice to grow." he turned to the two again. "This girl.. She.. It is as if she is speeding up nature around her, making it prosper to such an extent that she is demolishing the natural order of things. It is truly.. A miracle that we have her." his eyes widend and waved his hands from side to side "Don't get me wrong! She is not doing anything to hurt the world, no no! Not at all! The world is just very happy, excited and... Generous - when she is around. That is why.." he held out both of his open hands and gestured towards the room "this village is so rich. We are not lazy! No no, because of her we have to work almost every day! But we are afraid that.. Well.. After all of these years.. Some other village have gotten the news about this and they have captured her"

Masaraku looked at the man and said "We encountered some blue flowers outside of town. Seeing as she has a tie to plants, are they tied to her? Would the local flora create a trail to take us to her as she was taken? And can you give us a description of her, or a picture even? What kind of enemy should we be expecting? Did you see them take her? How long has she been missing?" Her hand nudged the tea cup away, it was time to get on with the case.

Batsu stayed silent. Masaraku was actually doing fairly well in asking questions pertinent to the situation at hand. Granted, she seemed a bit forceful in her delivery but that was the way of her clan. Needless to say that she did very well... far better than he had expected of her. Batsu stood still as he looked at the man and waited for answers.

His old tried narrowed some as he strained himself to keep up with the questions. "Oh.. Well.. Lets take it one at a time. Blue flowers? I've never seen any of those, but that is probably because I don't venture out into the forest. So I can't help you with that.. Maybe the youth in our village would know anything? They are such adventure's beings" he said, smiling to the two, realising that the man of his company had not yet taken a seat. "Don't you want to sit?" he asked and gestured to the sofa on the opposite side of the table.

"Local flora? You mean that a certain type of plant souly excists around her? Not that I have noticed. But.." he pointed out towards the window. "You see this?" he lingered for a moment "No mist. Our country is famous for it but it is sometimes bothersome for us farmers with the constent high level of water in the air. But, when our wonderful girl is here. The mist is gone" he sighed loudly while looking down into his cup. "I am sure the mist will return soon.."

He turned his gaze to the woman again. "What more were you asking about?.. Hmm.. Oh yes! A description! Her hair is bright green, as well as her eyes. I am sure her parents have some, you should go visit their home after our little talk" he said, nodding with a serious expression in his wrinkly face. "About the enemy, well.. No.. No clue. As I said, we thought no one knew about her. But!" he said with a finger raised in the air "there was a gigantic hole in her wall when she was taken" he smacked a fist into his open palm "Bam!" (his fist didn't make much of a "bam") "like an explosion!" he shook his head back and forth "but I was too shaken to look for a long time.. Maybe you could detect something that my old eyes couldn't"

"So, you told Kim the messenger boy about your special girl and he blabbed off to neighboring village number five who aren't doing so well with their crops, I'm sure you know the one I'm talking about Old-Rice, and then they hired some muscle to steal away the girl." Masaraku looked at Batsu and stood up, "Hey mouthpiece, do some good here while I go check out the parents." She didn't think that it would be hard to find a house with a giant hole in it, but she looked at old rice and said, "How do I get to the house old man?" He told her where it was, relatively close, and within a moment she was out the door of the tea shop before the tea ever went cold.
Masaraku ran to the house with alarming speed and found the house with a hole in it. She stopped and began looking for clues. Was the wall splintered out or in? Were there burn marks? And most importantly, was there a chakra signature attached to the place? If there had been a struggle here, then there may be blood, and if there was blood she was the best one for the job.
After investigating the hole a bit she stepped inside of it, noting that she was breaking into somebodies home she said, "Hey, I'm in your home, but I promise that I'm not an axe murderer or anything."
Then she started looking for a picture of the green haired girl that she could grab and take with her, that way they knew exactly who they were looking for.

((The Int check was to get a insight regarding where the girl was - not gaining the intelligent questions. The intelligent questions is up to your own imagination to come up with. I would also like it, if Pup did not read the first spoiler and Kosmic did not read the second, until the mission is over. Since now you two are sepparated this could be alittle more fun blaugh . This would mean that you would also use the spoiler code for your posts. If you want to share details about what you have discovered while you were apart you would have to write it in character.))

"You think so?" he blinked with his eyes quite shocked at her assumption. "Well.. That might very well be the case.. Bu-" his sentance were cut off as she gave an order to her partner and ran out of the teashop.

"Hmpf.." old-rice turned to the man "that is a rude one.. What I was going to say was.. Oh now I remember - the village is in a quite good shape already! We have no criminals here and we are all quite wealthy and happy. It is odd that someone would sell out our secret. Or maybe it was just an honest misstake.. I don't know.."

MH: The shinobi ran out of the shop and out to the streets. It took a few minutes of searching in the sunlight before she found a two storied house. It was a two familed building, meaning that one family lived on top and another below. The destruction of the wall was mainly focused on the lower part of the building. The damage did reavel the floorboards of the room above it as well. Masaraku found a messy room. Bookshelves had been thrown to the opposite wall of the room, books layed scattered and pages were sprayed across desks and misplaced furnitures.

Information regarding the hole: The outer parts of the hole did not contain any traces of blood. The wood that was once connected to the wall was now thrown all over the room in little pieces. With her knowledge of certain attacks towards surfaces, the wood seemed tiny and shredded. She concluded that the wall was of the making of an powerful wind attack. Using her sense of chakra, she could feel the remanence of a jutsu.

Not-an-axe-murderer-check:
"AAAAH! WE HAVE AN AXEMURDERER IN OUR HOME! THEY HAVE COME BACK FOR US!" a woman's voice could be heard somewhere in the building. Fast footsteps of two people were making their way towards her.

A picture of Yoshima: A green eyed and haried girl was in the middle of a picture with dosens of people all lined together. The picture under a shattered glassframe. She could not make out any more details at the moment from her current standing position.

Batsu shot a look over his shoulder at Masaraku as she turned and walked out of the building. The girl lacked tact and the fact that she went to talk to the family of the lost girl didn't set well with him at all. But he had to ask a few questions of the elder in the room before going out and attempting to undo the damage that Masaraku was about to do... because it was bound to happen.

Batsu turned and looked at the man and slid his hands in his pockets. He didn't say anything for a while but just pondered on the information that was given thus far. After a bit of thinking Batsu was ready to talk.

"So... I should start with this. Masaraku and I did in fact see a flower that I myself had never seen or read about. That flower within itself may be a clue of some sort considering that you yourself had never heard of such a flower. I will retrieve this flower and bring it to you so you may take a closer look." Batsu then turned and looked at the window and gazed outside. "Next, you said that there was a mist that will return being as the girl is not present." Batsu the turned and look at Old-Rice again. "Does that mean the girl possesses some sort of genkai? In addition to that, have you noticed any weird behaviors from the girl prior to being abducted? Finally, do you happen to know of anyone in the village that she talks to on a regular basis?"

MH: Meant for Batsu.

"So he is going to stand this entire talk? Our countires ninjas are rather strange.." he smiled to himself as he was still facing the standing ninja while he sipped on his delicious tea. "Aaah" he breathed out content "I see.. Well please do then, bring it to me that is, I might recall something when it's infront of me. Yes, excellent weather conditions always follow our Yoshima-chan. I remember once when she left with her family for a trip, and all the boys were playing outside when suddenly thunder and lightning started hammering the village. But.." he pulled in his beard "I have never heard of this "genkai", is it magic? Our girl is magical that is for sure. For your last two questions, you should probably ask the Yoshima's parents. They spend more time with her. But please be gentle with the mother, she is very fragile at this moment" he smiled and took another glance out of the window.

Batsu stood and listened to the elder as he spoke and he glanced towards the window again for a brief second before he looked back at Old-Rice. The fact that the male had never heard of such a flower stirred him a bit. The medic actually regretted that he didn't do something about it when he first made it into the village. Batsu gave a nod to the man because he knew what he needed to do next.

Batsu stood erect and gave the man a courtesy bow. "Sir, I find out of utmost importance to retrieve this flower for you and see if it is recognizable. If it is not then it may be a clue as to what we're up against."
