Daliu tried not to grin when he seemed to frown at her, attempting to regain some semblance of decorum. It wasn't exactly working for her, as a smile kept slipping out, but she at least made the attempt. His agreement made her pause, considering him with a soft smile. "You are most merciful, Son of the Stars..."
She watched him drift back with a faint tilt of her head, nodding in understanding. "Of course, I would not dream of attempting to escape you... I am sure that would not end well."
She laughed, in spite of herself. "Don't worry, if backed into a corner I may have to hurt you too... Handsome as you are."

Daliu tilted one ear at him, flattening the other and giving her best 'unimpressed' face. She snorted at him and flicked her tail, raising her chin just enough to let him know she was serious. "I suggest you never put that to the test... I am not a mare prone to folly, I warn you now. If you'd like to ever soar skyward again, you will not corner me. It would not end well."
She softened the next moment, giving him a look that was all sweetness. "I would tell you to try it, but you may not survive the encounter... And then how could I say "I told you so"?"

Daliu gave him a firm nod, a bit of 'so there' in her attitude in spite of the laughter in her eyes. "Enough to give even a Fey Lord some trouble, Good Sir, and I advise you not to forget it."
She laughed then, shaking her head. "I can be kind until the situation calls for me to be otherwise, as you have seen today. I think it is fair to say most ladies can be thus, and most gentleman known not to rile us or to fear the consequences when they do. As for chasing, I am not sure if I could catch you, but I can very nearly promise that I will not stop looking. I hope that is sufficient."

The indigo coated mare almost laughed to see him bow so deeply to her, turning her head for a moment to hide behind her cloud-white mane. The smile he shot her was particularly effective, and made her knees feel a little shaky in a way they had not before then. She wanted to blame it on the run...
"You make an excellent point, Lord Thane." She agreed after a moment, her smile returning without reserve. "It would please me to no end to have you accompany me thus. As for where we are going, I am not sure yet... Home was our previous destination, but I would hate to cut short this alliance when it is so newly begun. Perhaps you have a charming destination in mind?"
