Tekashi curled herself into Atlas's side. This was home. She kept blurry eyes on the ohters but her lids kept drooping, she was set for a nap with her mate.
She heard Lan sigh, giving into the spunky mare and rocking himself to stand, rather painfully by the look of things. She heard him say " Well if you want to go lets do it before i can't.

Amber looked one last time at the source of all their trouble. "We will see you again, you can count on it. I will be ready then." Turning around she slowly, and painfully limped toward the tree line, hoping that Lan had the strength to follow her.
The track was slow, the pain was almost unbearable. She was silent for a little while. She could either focus on talking or focus on walking. And getting away from there seemed most important now. It seemed like she walked forever. But in truth, it had only been a few minutes. And then she couldn't walk anymore, her shoulder was screaming! Whimpering she sank down to the floor. "I can't Lan.. not anymore."

Atlas watched the battered stallion and mare leave, before turning his full attention to Tekashi. "... My apologies, princess," he said quietly after a minute. "I am getting blood all over your beautiful coat..." The pure white coat that seemed to sparkle in the sunlight now had thin lines of crimson running down it from his wounds. Despite his serious expression, his eyes were soft with his affection for his mate.

Lan in great pain as well, knew that the best gift he could give Amber would be comfort so despite his grouchy, creaking body he nuzzled her and allowed her to lean on him when she stumbled. He sank down gratefully when she stopped. Sweet dirt how he had missed it. He laid his battered head on her butt and fell promptly asleep.

"Atlas Elysium, I would be covered in much worse things to be able to be closer to you my love. You never need to apologize for bleeding on me." She settled herself closer to her mate.
