Tryce smirked, “Oh. Surprising.” His calm gaze surveyed the group before he leaned against Shou, “So more and more poke-humans are showing up with no idea about anything?” What a strange predicament. Even more so was the announcement that quickly came over the forest making his ears ring. Wincing the Umbreon looked towards his friend and frowned, “Should we heed that warning so easily?”
Then again there was quite the gathering…his normal instincts to keep solo were beginning to kick in. Perhaps it was best to regroup and then to sneak in with a few later…not a whole horde.
Raxka laughed as she wrapped an arm in turn around the miltank, “Unsafe? Even more reason for me to be out here, darlin’.” Winking she nudged Bethanne, “I’m glad I’m here now though so you can have some safety. Seriously was not expecting to see you out here.” Her own gaze hardened at the warning and the ampharos looked at her twin. Look at them tryin’ to tell us what to do. Hah! Officer Jenny? They had dodged all of those cops before and could easily do so again.
This…this strange feeling was far more important.
“Shadows.” Raiden motioned around them, “We’re out in the open now, but we need to do something other than standing around.” Like Will he had started moving and was already dragging the others away when loud noises started to be heard echoing around them. Was a fight happening right now?
Already his hand was inching towards his katana.
If there was a fight then he would be ready for it.
As the group prepares to move out of the way, a group wearing Team Rocket uniforms can be seen coming closer, one yelling at the others, giving orders to 'get the outsiders' amongst other things. Will you flee, or stand and fight to help those they're running towards. Address this in your next post.

A Piplup, huh? She seemed far from home, Escher and Venka both thought. "That poor dear!" Venka spoke in a hushed voice to her companion, "Vashed avay! She could've been drovned!" The worry was all too present in the Victini's voice. Escher put and arm around her to try and ease her stress. This was getting way too out of hand at this point. They needed to hurry.
The Palkia looked at the current and then to Venka. There was no way they were going to be able to swim across that, as Holly had suggested. If they were still Pokemon, there would have been no issue. He would have just waded across as Venka floated; now that they had lost their size and levitation ability, respectively, they had to think this through carefully.
The sudden squeaking of something under Holly's hat made them jump slightly. They'd expected she was alone and to have someone new pop out of such an unexpected place gave them a bit of a start. They watched eagerly as the small creature tried to create a path of ice for them to cross. Both their hearts sake as the ice almost immediately cracked and then broke into pieces, floating down the river.
"Thank you for your efforts," Escher called, trying to keep the two young compatriots' spirits up. "I think we may have an idea on how to get across!"
"No!" Venka whispered, "You're still too veak." She didn't need to use her inherent psychic powers to know what he was thinking.
Escher smiled and grabbed her hand with his free one. "It is our only option at this juncture, my dear. Besides, it is only a small jaunt, I will be quite fine."
The Victini girl opened her mouth to protest, but before she could, Escher opened a rift and walked through, guiding her as well. The rift closed behind them and for a moment there was no sign of the two. Several tense seconds passed before another rift in space opened and the two stepped onto the grass directly in front of Holly. Both Escher and Venka smiled, though the boy was struggling to stay on his feet at this point.
"Hello again, kind travelers, I am Escher, and this is my companion, Venka." His knees buckled and Venka's smile disappeared, easing him to the ground. "Not the best of introductions, my apologies."
"I told you ve should not have done that!" Venka huffed.
"I will be just fine, just give me a moment to breathe."

"Really?" Jor growled, "You think this mess is something I concocted?" He snorted in disgust. "I'm rather offended by that remark, brother." The shiny sibling crossed his arms over his chest and seemed to pout. "If you paid any attention or at least stayed awake for half the day, you'd know that the chaos is being caused by Landorus, and subsequently Tornadus and Thundurus. The old men are throwing a fit!"
Speaking of throwing a fit, Jor's tail was lashing about as he threw his own silent tantrum. How dare Nidhogg suggest this was his doing! He had more finesse than this! If he were in charge, the humans would be bowing down to him and bringing him all sorts of treasures. He imagined himself sitting atop a grand throne, taller than anything else around. It calmed him and his tail stopped its violent twisting, returning to the gentle undulations that kept him afloat.
Despite being in the air, things are still occasionally flying through the air, or falling. This moment is no different. A small tornado going past as a distance, has things flying out of it. As Jor rants, something flies out of the tornado and clonks him on the head! It seems a potion has been flung loose from the whirling vortex. In the main shop thread please RNG 1-3 to determine potion rarity, then using the list on the first post, RNG the proper #'s to determine which potion just hit Jor in the head. Be sure to mention this in your next post!

Riley looked around at the folk chattering non-stop. They hadn’t even noticed him. Well, no problem. He could just-
Riley yelped when the loud voice shouted out from the sky, ordering all of them to leave or risk being arrested. He didn’t want to be arrested! ...He didn’t quite know what that meant, but he knew it wasn’t good. That much was made clear by the sudden stampede of everyone hurrying their way out. He bounced among the bodies before he ducked down with his head over his arms and tears in his eyes. This was too scary! He wanted to go home!
His ears twitched at the sound of a coherent voice, and he looked over at Hazan and felt his chin tremble. “I-I-I don’t know! Someone yelled, and they all started running!” He gasped heavily and ducked his head back down as a stiff gust of wind nearly blew him against the other boy. “And then the sky got all angry again! And-” Riley froze when he saw them... The gods rampaging before his eyes were like something from a nightmare. He could hear the other boy pleading for them to stop, but his own breath was caught like syrup in his chest. With a whimper, he reached over and gave the chikorita’s arm a tug. “W-w-w-we g-g-g-g-g-go?” he asked plaintively, fear clear in his eyes.
In the mad rush to leave the area not only were people being jostled, things were falling. Including a potion that rolls to a stop at Riley's feet, what luckl! In the main shop thread please RNG 1-3 to determine potion rarity, then using the list on the first post, RNG the proper #'s to determine which potion just found Riley. Be sure to mention this in your next post!

Kirsi sighed heavily as she touched the hard rock. She could barely see a thing in here. Maybe she’d have to go back? She turned back toward the tunnel she’d come through, not looking forward to those tight spaces again, when the vibrations began again. They grew rapidly in strength, and Kirsi shrieked as large rocks splashed into the water from above, one knocking her arm as she sped around in a panic. There was no cover here! She heard the tumbling of rock beneath her, and gasped in surprise. The glowing creatures had lit up an entry that hadn’t been there before! Covering her head with her hands, she thrust forward like a torpedo, slipping into the tunnel with relief. But, now she was in a tight space, and the rock was still shaking. Gasping heavily, she forged ahead without stalling. Even when she couldn’t feel the shaking anymore, she was too frightened to stop.
The tunnel was so long, she was exhausted by the time she saw the dim light ahead. Ah! Another cave with those glowing things! But, the light was so yellow... Panting heavily, she burst out from the tunnel and shot into the open water with relief. That wasn’t any glowing creature! It was the sunlight! Relief gave her a boost of energy to swim toward the surface, breaking into the open air with a breathless laugh. She was out!
Her joy was only temporary though. She looked up at the sky, and saw the sun surrounded by clouds, and losing the battle. As the last of the bright rays were covered by the gray curtains above, Kirsi said a small thank you to the light that had welcomed her back out. Groaning, she swam to the edge of the new lake, and stretched out in the shallows of the water. She was so tired now, and her arm was bleeding. ..What was making everything go so wild? Was this common here on land?
Everything was starting to swirl around him. He could hear those near by talking. He could see so many rushing away from the direction he was going. He moved away from the group though as he did so his mind filled with their worry and fear. The storm was starting to whip around him and confusing him even more. He was not used to such negative emotions swirling around. He continued on towards what he thought was the epicenter of the trouble. His indigo eyes flashed behind his green glasses as he saw a dark robed figure up in the air. He could not see the face but no sooner had his eyes landed on the figure flying away he hear the loud booming voice declaring that there would be consequences if he did not get off this land.
This was the last straw. The peaceful Munna child was so mad and scared he could not help himself. He wanted to strike out. And he knew he could not fly or reach the figure floating nearish him. All of his emotions though seemed to know what to do. All of the emotions focused and locked on to the mewtwo Harvard. All the fear and anger and sadness gathered together and before Koujen even know what happened he launched a Zen Headbutt, his first one ever, at the figure in the sky. Tears started to stream down the pale yellow cheeks, “Why did you do this?” he demanded, “What are you going to do about this. You destroyed my field…my only home and what little I have. I have no where to go. You have no reason to be hurting everyone. There is no reason to do all this! What am I suppose to do? What are you going to do to make this up to me!” He was not know for being selfish but he was unsure what else to do. In fact he was still unaware that he had attacked the legendary, though he did feel a bit lighter.

An emotionless Poke-human was not really something normal humans wanted to see when there was this craziness going on. Mariette did not think that others could find her a thread. She had never been anything but nice and polite to everyone she met. She was not a kept Pokemon but she was far from wild. So she knew how to handle people most of the time. So as she made her way into the pharmacy instead of the poke-center she did not think anything wrong. She headed towards the first aid aisle with a large basket and started to fill it with what she knew or thought they could use back up at the clubs. She had not been prepared for a woman’s voice loud and almost booming in her ear. “How dare you come in here like nothing is wrong!”
Mariette jumped and looked up though her surprise was not shown on her green face. She was about to ask what the woman meant when the lady continued on, “You come in here looking all peaceful and calm when it is your kind that is raging and reeking havoc here! You’re here taking out supplies when you could be stopping this!” Mariette tensed and her mandibles clicked as she gripped the basket tightly, “I…I had nothing to do with t…this. I….I am just getting supplies for those…i..in need.” she stumbled with her words her voice soft and apologetic.
“Are you making fun of me?” the woman demanded grabbing one of Mairette’s hands and pulling the child up. This sudden action caused the poke-child to drop the basket she had spilling the supplies onto the floor, “I am no..not making fun of you….I am sorry. I…I am just trying to help out…” The woman gave the think yellow wrist a twist and drug the Spinarak girl from the store and tossed her out of the pharmacy, “You want supplies you go to the Poke-center. These are for humans you worthless trouble causing Pokemon!”
Poor Mariette being tossed out of the store like that! Still, there is a silver lining to this, as she comes to a stop outside the store, in the gutter there is a potion bottle half hidden by a wet newspaper. In the main thread please RNG 1-3 to determine the rarity of the potion, and then using the list in the first post of the Meta, determine which rarity of potion was found, then RNG 1-the proper number, to determine what potion Mariette finds, despite her disastrous shopping trip!

Willemina arched her brow at Havard and shook out her head with a little almost non-existent smile. They could worry over pleasantries later, but the reaction she had received to her blunt questions was mildly amusing. Her tail chomped at the bit behind her, swiveling around so that she might have placed her hand upon it like a madman with his most beloved Persian. "Then we have cause to worry. Should the others become involved..." Will just shook her head. Sidelong to Havard, Will murmured, "My plans 'success' is only measured by the amount of actual help that arrives, wouldn't you think?" Already the others had caused a no small amount of jabbering the woods, which put her on edge. The fissure of power in the area, coupled with the warning, didn't sit well with Will at all.
Shou shrugged his shoulders. "We've surmised that it's Rocket related, and that's all the intel we gathered before the ladies took shot gun into the woods." Shousuke covered his sensitive hears as best he could, but he couldn't hide the wince that reverberated down to his ear drums. The natural noises he could handle, but that...? He only hoped they wouldn't need to be reminded again, even if he had no intention of leaving.
"Sounds like someone hasn't heard his lullaby yet," Shousuke grinned, looking up at Tryce. "How about we go tuck in some grunts?"
Bethanne sighed and shook her head. "Just don't go overboard, okay, Raxka? This isn't our fight, so you've got to know when to pull back." That was said to as much her friend as the group as a whole, including Havard. She squeezed the smaller girls hand and tried to smile. "I'm here for support. I doubt any of you is coming out of this unscathed, and who knows, there might be others that need help as well. I won't be running straight into a fight anytime soon, you just trust me."
Of course as soon as she said that she saw figures moving...towards her! She felt a nervous tingle in her gut that told her to run when Poke'balls came out, and that feeling intensified when a Cubone charged at her. It made to use a Headbutt, but out of sheer instinct Bethanne panicked. She called for a Body Slam that knocked the little Poke'mon on it's a**. However, that also brought her closer to the main line of Rocket forces.
"Let's like we're not getting out of this one, guys!" Shousuke looked at both Will and Raiden before shrugging his shoulders. The small fighter rolled his shoulders, and charged in.
Willemina was torn. Why couldn't anyone of them think beyond a momentary action? She looked to her sister, and then to the path away from the area, towards the camp. They wouldn't win this. Fighting Giovanni head on on his own land would only get them caught....Taking a deep breath, Will exhaled heavily before fleeing the scene. Her lean legs sailed over a bush, pushing her through the trees as fast as she could go. If her sister was captured she wouldn't be alone, and she would always come back for Bethanne. She could only hope her sister would understand. This was the only way!
As Wil goes charging off through the brush some of the Team Rocket grunts spy her, and one starts after her...only to trip over the little Cubone Bethanne had knocked down, leaving Wil in the clear to continue her escape!

Fluff's tail wagged a bit when Draven said he had missed him too. When he was asked about Eilam stopping it, he shook his head in reply. Yes, his 'brother' was a god Pokemon, but that didn't mean he could make these guys stop.
"Eilam doesn't think he could stop them. He says it is hard when they get like this. He is at home with Mama. It was decided that some should keep her safe. Too many bad things happening to leave her alone. That's my 'sister,' Lightning. She was one of Mama's first Pokemon,"Fluff replied. He waved Fei politely, though he did not know the other.
'Well, stay as long as you will, Switch, I would like being able to talk to you. Though, wherever you are headed, could be the same place we are going. Oh and that is Lightning, she belongs to Dea, Serena's daughter. She doesn't know most of the people here, she was a Pikachu until recently,'Callie explained. Then she felt the ground shaking and she felt herself fall to the ground, not having anything to hold on to. She heard the sound of a tree falling and she gasped at how close that had come to their group. She managed to get herself up and nod to the others that she was okay. She looked up to see Fluff give his own thumbs up as he brushed himself off. Lightning had used her tail in a crack in the ground to keep from falling over and gave a wave that she was fine too.
It seems Lightning's Tail widened the crack a little more, and a long ago lost potion made it's way there only to be lost. How neat! In the main thread please RNG 1-3 to determine the rarity of the potion, and then using the list in the first post of the Meta, determine which rarity of potion was found, then RNG 1-the proper number, to determine what potion Lightning has unearthed! Be sure to mention this find in your next post.

Brenny was troubled by Fei's words; but instead of becoming angry again, he wrapped his arms around his friend. "We can fix it," he said. "Who ever's done this better take responsibility for what they've done. I'll plant baby trees to replace the ones that were lost." Replacing trees, that was the easy part. But how did one replace Pokemon? How many Pokemon had been hurt in the gods' tantrum? The celebi wasn't sure he wanted to know. The idea that Pokemon would hurt other pokemon--that pokemon would destroy beautiful things, troubled him.
He gave a frightened squeak upon catching sight of the tree hurling towards them, and tightened his hold on Fei. He released him, watching the there sail past their group. "I'll help you fix your clearing," he promised. "Or you can have mine. It's--" he paused, looking around. What was going on? He wasn't sure how to answer that question.
"I think legendaries got upset about something." He mused. "I brought cookies to cheer them up!" He held up the bag. "I hope it works. They shouldn't destroy other pokemon's homes because they're upset! That's mean!" Mean gods, who knew, right?
~~~
"What's this?" Theo had fallen over a root, and instead of finding slugs and muck--though there was plenty of the latter, he figured. He was covered in it--he found a small bottle. "Huh. This might come in handy." He placed it in his pocket. He slowly stood, staring up at the sky. Huh. He couldn't see any police officers--and if those men were the ones to have upset the god Pokemon, wouldn't they be arrested upon calling? Didn't they have rules against upsetting Pokemon like this?
The hoothoot decided to take his chances, nearing the area once more. He would have to be brave! He wanted to find out just what had destroyed his home!
Another tremor rocks through the area, just hard enough to make everyone lose their balance. Again. Poor Brenny...those cookies aren't going to make it this time with him being thrown around like that! In your next post please have him react to his cookies being reduced to crumbs at this point.
Ialu looked up toward the sky, before floating up a ways, watching as Tornadus and Thudurus went about making a bit of a mess. Even from the distance he was at, some ways away and not nearly high enough, he could see the destruction they could wrought. A part of him debated just pelting the two of them with stars, maybe if they were shrunk down to child size they might be less of a threat? He couldn't do that though, blindsiding them didn't seem very nice. He would need to think of another plan... the question was, what to do? Maybe... maybe if he found Landorus? He always seemed the most level headed of the trio... but he couldn't even guess where he might be.
Floating up a little ways more he set to looking around, "Landorus... where are you?" He murmured, half to himself. He had gotten the other two to behave in the past, so where was he now? Why was he not quieting them? Had... had he been caught? Such a thing... it was possible, he'd heard of Legendaries being caught before, but what if... what if he had been caught and balance was going to be left completely out of whack like this for good? Did it mean having to battle the other two members of the Kami Trio? Not something he wanted to do but... maybe a good meteor to each of their heads would get through to them?
It's a good thing Ialu was in the air! His saying Landorus' name, even in a murmur caused the ground to start to shake a moment, a flash of orange, a flick of black tail vanishing in the thick brush. Apparently, the God had been much closer than realized!
*****
Giving a bit of a yawn Nidhogg looked around then nodded, "Hrm... maybe? You would need to be in one hell of a bad mood though." He mused, wondering if his brother could in fact make this much of a mess if he were in a good mood. Maybe, maybe not. Nidhogg would do so himself only if more of those accursed humans started throwing things at him. They would deserve it then, otherwise... well, it was far to much effort for him to want to exert on any single project that wasn't collecting all the berries for himself. He turned his attention back to his brother as he set to explaining and gave a sort of 'ahhhh' sound of understanding.
"I see... so it was the old men, eh? I have to say I am kind of impressed that a bunch of old dudes are able to make such a mess. One would think they'd of retired by now." He knew that he'd of done so at their age... or much younger then their age, more likely the latter. He could go for some early retirement he thought to himself before asking, "So... do you have a plan about what you are gonna do? Defeating the old men for fun and profit or something? Or just following them to see what you can pick up for yourself in their wake?" He was curious. If his brother was up to something he would probably follow along for a while at least, see him in action, toss in an attack or two if it were needed.
His eyes went to his brother's tail, watching the way that it was lashing about, and he couldn't help but grin. See! There it was! The mood that he could see his brother causing mass destruction while he was in it! He was about to comment on it when something something shiny that was being blown about in the wind hit his brother in the head. Eyes going wide he hurried forward, "Jorm! Are you alright? What the hell was that?" He asked in a fretful tone, looking as though he were actually worried about Jorm. The guy was the only Pokemon he was interested in after all, so of course he'd worry... especially when it came to head wounds.
*****
Giddy was on his way to escaping into the tall grass when he suddenly bumped into something strange and sparkling. Within the bottle were churning, pretty colors, as though someone had liquified a rainbow and put it in there. It was a strange sort of potion but one that Gideon had to have! He moved to wrap his tail around it before he moved to slither on his way once more. He wasn't about to sit still, not for long at least, when there were angry Legendaries skulking about the area. No, he would much rather just hide out somewhere safe, thank you very much! Maybe he could find himself a cave, a fallen log, or somewhere else equally as secure to hide out. That was the plan he had in mind at least until something came crashing into him, catching the poor Seviper off guard.
"Ack! Watch out there Fluffybutt!" He hissed at the one that had come crashing into him. At least the guy had taken his advice as far as retreat was concerned though he didn't think that the guy was going to follow him into the tall grass. No matter, at least they would both be safe in here... or at least that was what he was hoping for. The last thing he wanted was for them both to get nabbed by an angry Tornadus. Of course given that the wind seemed to have died down a bit maybe it was alright? Safe to peek out? Lifting his head up out of the grass he looked from side to side slowly, then gave a little sighing sound.
Turning back to his fluffy companion he said, "Seems he might have gone, Fluffybutt, so we should probably scoot as well." He said, lifting himself up as high as he could on his coils so he could flick his tongue out into the air, getting a taste of it, and of where he felt they should go. Given that there was a crowd of interesting Pokemon scents seeming to be gathering in one area maybe that was where they should go? Oh! Maybe he could find another poison type?! With that hopeful thought in mind he started to slither forward quickly.
"I'm glad that everyone's okay." Switch sighed and began to relax herself, but kept her eyes and ears open. The immediate danger seemed to be over for now.
She began to process what some of the boys were discussing. So the meowstic boy had lost his home too. She did not know how far Fei had traveled to get to this place, but from the city to her home in the mountains and nearly back again had been her journey thus far; the dangers were everywhere. They did not have to be or go anywhere in particular for the disasters to affect them.
It made Switch angry to think that anyone could cause this kind of damage and not care about the consequences. How could they possibly behave like that? But maybe there was a lot more to it. What if their portrayal was just a rumor that had grown out of control? And it was not out of the question for the news to use sensationalism for better ratings. It did not make her feel any better to try to reason everything out. The only way she would be satisfied would be to go there and see those “gods” for herself.
Turning back to Callie, she smiled. "I missed you. It seems like we might be headed in the same direction, so maybe I can travel with you guys for a while longer." She waved to Lightning when Callie introduced her.
She glanced over to Brenny when he mentioned bringing cookies to appease the gods. Really? Perhaps traveling with them wasn't such a good idea. But how could she get Callie and Lightning away from these knuckleheads? But would it really be safer to travel separately? Sadly, there was no way she could answer that question confidently.
The boy before him seemed to know about as much as Hazan about what was going on. Even the adults were scared and confused, that much was abundantly clear. The wind whipped around them and the gods attacked the construction site. The clouds seemed to boil with their anger, truly a terrifying and awe-inspiring sight! They seemed larger than life! The gods did not hear his cries above shouts of anger and screams of terror, the booming thunder and crumbling stone. How could a child’s voice possibly reach them?
It was probably then that he realized there was very little they could do right now. His mouth was hanging open when Riley grabbed his arm. Should they go? "Y-yeah. We should go."
In shock, he was slow to move, but he made every effort to make a successful retreat. Which way should they go? Should he go back toward the camp? Was it still safe there, or had it been attacked too? When he realized that possibility his bright yellow skin visibly paled. “Maybe we should go back toward the woods. There’s a camp, but I don’t know if it’s still safe there.” Of course, he would have to go back soon and find out. “Which way did you come from?”
He watched the steady flow of people fleeing as they followed their lead. Strangely, some others were approaching. Who were they? Why were they here? He scanned their faces hoping to recognize someone.
The sounds of sirens and the voice of a LOT of Officer Jenny's can be heard getting closer as she yells out to various people to "Get back!" amongst other things. What's a poor Chikorita to do? Have Hazan react to the fact that the long arm of the law is coming to arrest the trespassers! If he's not careful that could include him!
Team Rocket. That group was nearly as legendary as the trio of pokémon laying waste to the countryside right now. It stood to reason that that was the conclusion they had come to.
He heard Tryce's comment and smirked. No one seems to know what is going on. It was an ironic, mirthless smirk. The truth is, people could be hurt or dying. It's not funny. "Funny how people rush in at a problem without a plan," he muttered in reply, more to himself than anyone else. His eyes narrowed briefly when the girafarig took him into confidence. It would come as a surprise when he found out her response to the “help” on its way.
Raiden, like Will, was moving to leave. Good idea. But if a fight became necessary, it looked like some would be readier than others. Havard was no fighter but he had been studious about training, in his own way. He consciously moved to a position that would give them more coverage if trouble did come.
What does a Zen Headbutt do? When blindsided by one, even a mewtwo has little time to react. A nightmarish blur materialized out of the woods, a Technicolor tapir boy blazing right for him. Havard’s glowy-green Barrier could deflect only some of the damage, the impact shoved him several meters below the treeline and knocked off his hood. Havard pulled off his mask in annoyance, eyes glowing purple. So the fight begins.
“Did you lead Team Rocket here?” With Team Rocket coming close on the angry Koujen’s heels, Havard had no reason to think Koujen was aligned with anyone but those criminals. Sending a retaliatory mass of green globules hurtling after the munna, he was too impressed with his first battle whetted Focus Blast to listen to the other boy’s rant. As if wrath and grief were good reasons to lash out so blindly! He had no time to ponder over Koujen. He couldn’t even be sure the shiny munna boy would cease his attacks.
Havard’s new companions’ reactions to Team Rocket’s advance were not unified. Some ran -- a good idea! – and some had prepared to fight. Shouldn’t they all try to move on? “I’ll put up a Barrier to cover you!” He trailed behind those facing Team Rocket, and the faint blue-green shimmer of his Barrier closed them off from the undecided and those who were fleeing. He turned back to them briefly and called out, “Follow after Will!”
I can’t believe I’m fighting alongside strangers. I just wanted to find Hazan and go home.
I hope I organized these responses well enough. xp
The packing took Phee little time to accomplish, and Llyr had stepped in to help out with some of it while Cecily was off collecting her things from her knot hole. Phee had a small back the girl could wear and when she came back in went Cecily's things, food, water and the rest and she helped her shoulder the pack.
Looking around the house she'd just started calling home Phee closed the door after touching the lock to turn it, the door thudding shut behind her. She held a hand out to the Celebi girl as they walked, talking to both her and Llyr as they went, he taking up the rear position and keeping an eye out as best he could.
Behind them, Ylerian had already taken the opportunity to break into the house, and rifle through things. Food was stuffed into her own pack with no guilt. It would rot sitting here unattended. Now, it would be put to use, and not be trash. Her water was refilled and she drank it dry before filling up again. The thought of resting, or showering was tempting, but no. Something told her to follow the trio and so she turned the lock back into place and followed their footsteps.
They left an obvious path, one she could follow from a safe distance, listening to them talk as she went. It was when they reached the river some hours later that she hung back more than she had.
Phee could see a small group a short distance up the river, and she decided it was best to see who they were. "Come on. Lets go see if they're like us." Llyr gave a wry smile and adjusted his pack some. "Lets hope they come in peace."
Squeezing Cecily's hand Phee smiled. "Don't worry, I'll keep you safe alright?" "What about me?" Llyr protested to ease the tension. "Nope, you're on your own." "Gee thanks." he was laughing though, knowing it was all nervous teasing.
They just approach a new group with no caution? What are they stupid? Ylerian couldn't believe the nerve of the girl leading the little party. Skulking through the trees, she kept a fair distance away, sensing danger from the group. Or maybe that was due to the fact there was now four legendary pokemon about to make up a group.... that was a lot of power!
In her pillaging, it seems Ylerian has found some sort of potion! In the main thread please RNG 1-3 to determine the rarity of the potion, and then using the list in the first post of the Meta, determine which rarity of potion was found, then RNG 1-the proper number, to determine what potion Ylerian finds! ~Posted by Mewmouse
As they began their journey, Myrrh replied, “Not that far.” This was true, if you compared it to going to the mountains. It was about as far as one could go in town, though, being on the outskirts. She did not attempt to answer Margarita’s other question; she had no idea if the weather would launch another strike on them. Fortunately, their trip was uneventful. Rain continually poured around them and lighting periodically flashed overhead, but it never struck them. She was certain it had struck a few dwellings and businesses, though. While she wasn’t the most moral, she did feel sorry for the victims; it would make her plan far more believable though.
Upon reaching their destination, Myrrh had been quite relieved. The base of the pole that held the power lines was well concealed by foliage and the pole itself was wood. That was the second target, however. She had told her companion to wait there quietly, while she handled the first target, solo. After popping a few pieces of gum into her mouth, she made her way to a wooded region behind Giovanni’s mansion.
The mansion seemed rather lightly guarded, she wasn’t aware that a majority of the force was working shifts at the site of the destroyed shrine and that another small group was with Giovanni himself, as he oversaw some businesses out of town. While it wasn’t part of here plan, it certainly aided it. There were security cameras, but whoever designed them obviously played too many video games. They rotated and only one overlooked her target, the generator. Heck, it only covered the region around the generator, not the generator itself. She was pretty certain that the owner must have given the responsibility of installing the security network to an underling that would likely be punished. She did not feel sorry for the unknown underling though, he brought it upon himself by joining such an organization.
Waiting for the camera to face in the opposite direction, and seeing no guards anywhere near, she deftly made her way to the generator without any problems. Well out of sight of the camera, she pulled out a screwdriver and quickly went to work. After opening the access panel, she felt around inside. Within moments, she found a tube, hopefully the fuel line. After a bit of tugging, she removed one end and smelled inside. Definitely gas. Pulling the gum out of her mouth, she jammed it into the tube and then reattached it. Not one to allow her plan to rest on a single sabotage, she felt around some more, till she came across what felt like a gear. She had no idea what it actually did, but was certain that its removal would hinder the generator. It took her a few moments to pry it out, but the gear came out without too much hassle. It was then she heard someone coming.
Quickly, she closed the panel and kneeled on the ground, behind the generator; assuming the guard was only walking the grounds, she would be fine. She couldn’t see him, but she could hear him. He seemed to be humming some song to himself, possibly listening to some portable music device. Gotta love incompetent security. I don’t even need to confuse ray him. After a few moments, he had walked past. Just to be safe, she gave it another moment, before she peeked over the generator. As she expected, she was once again alone. Opening the panel again, she reached in and grabbed a handful of wires and ripped them out. It won’t need these anymore. After closing and sealing the panel, she checked to make sure no one was coming and then, once the camera was in the correct position, sprinted back to the woods. She waited for a bit, to make sure no alarm had been sounded. Seeing that she was in the clear, she made her way back to Margarita, fashioning the gear and wires into a necklace.
Upon reaching her friend, she tossed the necklace at her and said, “Got you something, but keep it hidden till we finish this…But now…it is time to chop down that pole.” A wicked grin across her face, she pulled out the pocket chainsaw from a belt pouch and offered one end to her companion.
“Maybe they tried to capture a legendary,” Terra commented, “or actually captured one… “ Terra didn’t know what was actually going on, but she needed to find out, to do something. Before Terra has a chance to respond to Calcifer’s comment about fighting the fire, rain began to pour down. ‘That will probably help with the fire,” she remarked. She was about to continue her statement, when she stopped in place, momentarily stunned. “Do..do you feel that? It’s like I am being tugged in two directions…the pull, it’s also coming from somewhere nearbye….”
Suddenly, she went from standing still, to running. She had to follow it, it was pulling her; she had no choice. After a few moments, she found herself facing a clearing, in it stood several men carrying a large piece of stone. It was shaped like something, but she couldn’t tell what it was. She did know that that object was what was pulling her.
“Yeah, this spot is as good as any,” one of the men stated, “let’s just leave it here. That tree has a hollow, we can shove it in there.”
“Yeah, that should work,’ one of the other men replied. They all appeared eager to finish their task and get out of the rain.
It seems there was something shoved in the tree hollow, which was ripped out of the hole and carelessly tossed over the shoulder by one of the men, only to bounce and come to a rest in the grass. Looks like it's a potion! Once the men leave have Terra investigate this and mention it in your next post. In the main thread please RNG 1-3 to determine the rarity of the potion, and then using the list in the first post of the Meta, determine which rarity of potion was found, then RNG 1-the proper number, to determine what potion was thrown like that. ****************
Holly remained hopeful as Cardice made the attempt to ice the river. Maybe it will work! The disappointment was evident on her face as the attempt failed. She had no means to help the two across, but she had hoped that her companion could. Still it didn’t seem to deter the newcomers. She couldn’t help but wonder if there was something she could try. At least she wondered that till Cardice suddenly climbed down, taking her hat with him, to retrieve some object in the grass.
Cardice’s actions had distracted her enough so that she didn’t notice Venka and Escher’s sudden disappearance. She did notice when they suddenly reappeared in front of her, though. Eyes widened in shock, she stammered, “I, uh, how…how did you get over here?” She had been through a lot today and this was probably the event to take her most off guard, at least so far.
Seeing Echer’s knees buckle and Venka lower him to the ground, she added, “Are you alright? Can…can I do anything to help?” It was apparent that, even though she was in a state of shock, she was still concerned for the boy.
In her current state, Holly had barely any notice of her surroundings, other then what lay directly in front of her. So, as the other group approached, she did not notice them till they were practically on top of her. Turning suddenly, as they approached, still wide eyed, she stated, purely by reflex, “Merry Christmas!”
She had always thought of herself as the adventurous sort; she had wandered all over the place, ready to spread holiday cheer. Today, though, she realized that there was a lot out there that she had yet to experience and that it was all unexpected.
It took a bit of effort, but Margarita managed to tug the rope down from it's lodge in the side of the records building. Who knew, the thing might come in handy later, and they didn't really want to leave the evidence! With it trailing behind her, the grimer-girl got to work rolling it up around her forearm, hand-to-elbow, as she followed quickly behind the obvious lieutenant of the group. She refrained from turning her head from looking around as Myrrh confirmed that it wasn't too far a trek, for fear that she'd stumble as she moved, but her eyes darted about every so often to calibrate the setting, mouth still keeping the file in place as it bobbed up and down. She was quiet, focused, but then again, her mind was making all the silent swerves she was so prone to, only conscious of Myrrh's form in front of her.
That is, until the spiritomb stopped. She was right, it hadn't seemed like a long trip at all! Then again, nothing seemed all that long when your brain was playing you something akin to an in-flight movie along the way. Not that she really remembered what she was thinking about once she snapped to... Whatever it was, it was probably a lot less interesting than the massive mansion that now towered before the two young, violet-tinged girls. Margarita's head tilted slowly upwards, as though scaling the side by sight alone. The back of her head came to rest uncomfortably at her back, but she still could barely make out the... what were those, gargoyles at the top? "Weeeeh..." she drawled in awe, voice still impeded by the records file in her mouth as she slipped the rope around her torso like a belt full of ammo.
As she was instructed to wait by the pole, the target of the second step, Margarita finally pulled the papers from her mouth as her hands were now free. She watched curiously as the spiritomb disappeared out of sight, then met with nothing but the silence of the lax patrol and nighttime crickets on the air. 'Boring, isn't it?' she thought she heard Paprika sigh from her pocket, 'Are you sure you can handle the idea of sitting still?' Margarita only offered the disbelieving salt shaker an amused grin, crouching in the foliage near the pole and out of sight. It was a good thing she was able to control her innate Stench ability, or she would never have been able to pull this heist off unless she was downwind! Speaking of which, the wind was unusually dead, considering the temper it had had lately... maybe it moved on elsewhere?
Myrrh came back into view about the time that Margarita was contemplating the sentience of storm clouds and weather patterns, a thought process that was all but forgotten with the sudden appearance of a flying charm. The grimer caught the gear-and-wire necklace without too much trouble, but dropped the file flat on the ground with the effort, having forgotten that it was still in her hand. "Oooh, thanks!" she gaped at the thing, giving it a quick once-over before she slipped it in her pants pocket, to the other side of Paprika's holding area. Peering down at the file on the floor, she decided to leave it where it had come to rest, at least for now; it was hidden well enough, and wouldn't hamper either one of them like that.
With a cheery grin, the purple-banded girl eagerly took the offered end of the pocket chainsaw, tugging at it to make sure it was more taut between the two of them. It was a bit more flimsy than she had been expecting, though, so it took a little more effort to start gauging through the wood in any meaningful way. She sure felt like a lumberjack, though... "Hey Myrrh," she whispered across the way between tugs, "do you think we'd be able to do this as well in heels?" Seemed like it would be pretty awkward, especially because, at that point, Margarita started kicking at the pole to help it along faster. She would have to keep in mind not to yell 'Timber!' when the time came...
Luckily, they did not need to cut it all the way through before it began tilting. Apparently it had not been a very new addition to the plot, the wood having weathered more than just the past week's strange patterns. Jumping back after another kick to the pole's side, Margarita's hands shot up to her pointed ears in anticipation for the sound, eyes shutting tightly as though that could help a little better. She stumbled slightly, not having expected the vibrations to cut so cleanly through both land and air, but remained upright. Slowly she surveyed the damage, eyes creeping back to Myrrh, "So... time for the next phase?" What was the next phase anyway?
Calcifer watched the trail her move had plotted out in earnest, dousing some of the fire along the way but mainly having just created a bit of a barrier from the outside against the flames causing any further damage their way. She took a few steps to the side, but she didn't dare move closer -- that fire seemed to flare with a temperament all its own, sparked by the lightning as it had! Even if it probably wouldn't have harmed the young slugma, it wasn't as though she wanted to take the risk.
"Hm, it's possible..." Calcifer considered. It seemed like it would have been nigh impossible to capture a legendary, something of such unfathomable power, especially when they could create such nationwide destruction in such little time! However, she wasn't ignorant: Calci knew it had been accomplished before. It was because of that knowledge that her expression melted into further concern; would they be able to find such a person, holding a legendary weather-god hostage in a tiny pokéball, if that was the case? "If that's what happened, hopefully the person that did it is the boastful type," she concluded, turning back around to start once more on their path.
Instinctively, she held a hand up to feel the rain as it came down from the sky, a smile finding its way back onto her shaken exterior. She did always prefer the water to the heat, when she was given opportunity to choose. "Yeah, then we don't have to worry about the fire getting out of hand," she agreed.
The hybrid girl followed Terra's indication of the direction this new pull was coming from -- it wasn't as strong, but it was still most definitely there, coaxing the two of them toward it. It couldn't hurt to check out, Calcifer was curious! So she followed with little delay, even if she didn't really need the lead, and it was a good thing she did for she hadn't expected them to stumble across the couple of Team Rocket rookies. With a catch in her chest, she instinctively grabbed hold of one of Terra's wrists, just in case the burmy wandered into the clearing before the two men exited the area. At least they had arrived on scene when they seemed about ready to leave...
Calcifer craned her neck as the Team Rocket members quickly retreated from the area, but she didn't release her grip on her traveling partner until she heard the slamming of doors and revving of an engine; they seemed to be in quite the rush to get out of here. "That was close..." she murmured with a sigh, standing up and wandering into the clearing to curiously glance at their horrible job of hiding a... stone statue? It was still in plain sight, the numbnuts! She moved to brush her fingers across the surface, as though it would help her determine what exactly it was in its partial hiding spot, but that only managed to smear more rainwater across it. With an eagerly determined motion, she tried to get a better handhold on the hunk of stone from inside the hollow, golden eyes flicking back to Terra, "Hey, think you can help me pull this out? Maybe we can figure out what it is that those crooks were trying to hide. They can't have been up to any good!" It looked pretty old, but from this angle, Calcifer had no idea what they now had in their possession.
As Calci inspects the stone, she'll be able to make out some words written on it, but from the angle it's hard to easily make out. Though one of them look like it might say Landorus! What is Calic's reaction to this find? Please mention this startling discovery in your next post.
If it wasn't for the fact that Cardice's jittery mind was having difficulty in focusing on a single situation at a time, he likely would have shown considerably more sympathy for the predicament, and apology for failing to help in any conceivable manner. As it was, he felt it, but forgot to display as much in the wake of overriding distraction. Perhaps it was a good thing this was the case after all, however, for now that he had moved to the ground he had less likelihood to harm Holly in reaction with unbidden, surprise-tensed claws to everything that had happened next.
<<Woah-woah, how'd you do that?>> Cardice exclaimed, seeing as Escher and Venka seemed to blink in and out of reality to bypass crossing the river altogether. That was so neat! He had just about asked why they hadn't tried making that move across from the start, but the answer came without delay. Wincing, he fidgeted and thought about moving closer, but hesitated when he realized he would be about as much 'help' as he had been before. If only they weren't so far from where he called home, he'd have been able to pull a potion out of one of his storage areas! He could, at the very least, remember where he had squirreled away those things!
He jumped at the sound of what seemed like crashing through the forest to the pokémon of such diminutive size, his claws digging into the soft dirt between the grass to keep himself rooted in place. Skittering closer to an outcropping of trees and brush with Holly's hat and the weird potion in tow, he huddled against the branches of the bushes, as though it would keep him from sight... despite the bright red attire that he was peeking out from under. Good grief, they were even taller! The helioptile remained still for a few moments, watching how everything seemed to be unfolding before chancing any course of action himself. There didn't... seem to be any danger involved, but then again they didn't really know he was here, did they?
With a start, Cardice realized that something seemed a bit... off. Slowly he turned his attention to the obscuring foliage behind himself, but he caught sight of nothing out of the ordinary. Nothing but the strangest sensation of having a set of eyes watching, but he wasn't sure if it was just an overreacting hypersensitivity. Living with a group of bandits may have had its benefits, but it also seemed to make him a little too wired to expect the sneaking unsuspected. With a silent yelp, he scampered forward a little, closer to Holly but not bridging the gap completely. Standing more upright, he tried to get a better look through the bushes, but still he spotted nothing, nothing but the faintest of electrical signals that he usually attributed to someone being close by. Maybe his senses were just overloaded... Cardice tugged the brim a little tighter around his slight form, keeping cautious but a smidge less paranoid.
