"Okay, Onii chan." Dovelette replied as both kiddos went within the ruins, finding temporal shelter from the never ending storm. But just as they got closer to the ruins and get within then, so would the mourning sounds become louder. Taking the shelter for granted, the little girl decided to run through the halls, freely and carelessly, despite being her the one who warned her about the last Djin. "Come on, come on Onii chan, I'm sure the last toy is this way." Said Dovelette loudly in excitement, she couldn't wait to tell mother about her adventures with Onii chan even less to keep dear mother waiting any longer. So, the quickest they could get the toy, the better. The storm would rage on, and the roar of the dragon's wings would be hear echoing through the ruins. Rising dusty clouds every now and then, and some debris fell from the roof, still, the building was still standing, and had no signs it would collapse any time soon. The mourning sounds of a woman would keep echoing the halls as they followed their source to what it looked like an abandoned Chapel. The luxurious arrangements could be seen despite the aged aspect of the construction. If one were to guess it appeared as a wedding set up. But why the red and dark colors in the representation of a joyful day?
➟"W-Wait Dovelette! Don't go any further! Your oni something needs to stand by you and make sure your safe!" Rushing after Dovelette he noticed an eerie feeling once again, of course this wasn't anything new in this realm. "All of these voices...I must be hearing things." About to take another step forward the picture of all the dead bodies in the lake appeared in his head. Almost shedding a tear for the poor souls he tried to track down where the noise was coming from. Coming across what appeared to be a gothic type of chapel he searched but his heart couldn't stop racing. "Any one there...? If you have the gemstone I'd like to have it! Please don't attack on sight...I really don't like surprises. Make your presence known!" Following Donovan's statement the sound of wind filled his ear instead of complete silence. Every time he came across a Djin it was when he was about to touch a gemstone. His throat made a gulping noise as he searched for the gemstone while keeping Dovelette within the corner of his eye.

"oh, but Onii chan the toy is near, I can feel it." Replied the playful Dovelette, peeping here and there with her curious eyes, trying to find the gemstone. The mourning would continue as they ventured within the Chapel. Just as they travel through the debris in the room, they would spot an altar at the very end of the Chapel with two figures at sight. There was this woman, the author of the creepy mourning noises. A lovely red dress covering her figure as she held who seemed to be the groom. But his skin was pale and was no motion, his eyes did not open and his chest would have a hole in it. The woman continued mourning over the apparent loss of the groom. There was a heart beat, the sound came from that man's chest. It would seem deep within the open wound would lie the final Gemstone.
➟"Well alright then..." Mourning would continue to get louder and louder making Donovan's heart beat faster and faster every second. Catching sight of the two figures he frowned. "Oh no..." Unfortunately it was as the young boy thought, two lovers dead beside each other. What a sad sight to see, just as they would begin their life together it came to a tragic stop of unforeseeable events. Illusions and trickery couldn't make the feelings of dread, nor could it stop the sense of agonizing despair. It crushed him every time he came across such a sad sight in this realm, mentally he was just devastated. Always sensitive the boy couldn't help but feel pity for the lovers, for the bodies at the lake, and for the mysterious women back at the shrine. "Last toy. Last gemstone. All I need to do is grab it and face what comes next." Checking over the bodies a few times just to make sure they were really dead, his heart stopped. Where was the gemstone located? Right within the man's chest as some form of symbolism. The way the gemstones had a certain beat to it like real hearts, it could have very well been the man's heart. "Relax...I've got a three man team now. Your not afraid anymore...your not afraid. This time you won't tear up or show any weakness. No emotions...these feelings I have now won't help, these aren't ones that can drive me without causing a crash."Calming himself by closing his eyes and silencing the area around him, he canceled everything else around him, just like when he was out back at the waterfall. "I'm going to need this." Reaching for the gemstone slowly he knew something was going to happen, what he did not know was what.

"O-oni chan what are you doing?" Asked Dovelette a little nervous as she saw Donovan's hand getting near the Groom's corpse. Seconds later the sound of moving flesh as Donovan put his hand within the corpe's chest. reaching for something, it wasn't a gemstone, it wasn't a toy. It was a human heart. Which suddenly started beating after receiving a person's warmth. The heart would begin beating once more. The halls of the chapel would start playing the nuptial march
The heart would begin pulsing a dark and sorrowing pulse that would illuminate the chappel, revealing the bodies of those who perished that day. The music would echo through the grand chapel, as the spirits would rise once more and observe the couple, little Dovelette and Donovan, as the substitute for the bride and the groom They would start clapping, oh what a joyous day, some exclaimed. The place would look prettier and lively if it werent for the eerie decoration and the scent of death along the air, but among everything, the most hideous of all was the mourning sound, right behind Donovan's back. The hear was still beating, yet little did he knew it wasn't the grooms. Within the black flesh there was a small luster, the final gemstone lied within the heart. A word of warning. A simple look out. Dovelette was to scared to even make a sound. A pair of cold arms embraced the boy holding the gemstone and heart.. A head was rested upon his hair. There was certainly a chest against his back but there was no heart beating. "Darling?... is that you?" Asked a sweet voice, the source of all mournings in the chapel, the owner of that heart. Here comes the bride.
➟Holding the groom's heart within his hand he gasped rather loudly. As if this were some habit that he had done for years, he placed his free hand on his mouth to stop him from screaming. Instead of shivering he slowly put the heart within his pocket while keeping his face from the bride. Everything was getting out of hand quickly. "N-No ma'm! My name is uh...Donovan...Donovan Wise." Taking a deep breathe he faced the women with a determined look, expecting a beautiful maiden like the last two times. Within his pocket the grotesque beat of the heart kept pulsating, scowling in disgust the boy tried to speak as normally as he could. "See my face? I'm not your husband but I'll..." Just then and there Donovan got the most outrageous idea he had ever come up with. Donovan knew the plan would most likely fail but he still went through with it. "Actually its umm...me. Thats right my...love? I'll only be a minute I just have to go outside real quick and take care of something, wait for me here and I'll be right back." Donovan smiled at the women and held her two hands within his. He knew the gemstone had to be in the heart he had received from the groom, the beating made sure of it. There was no way he was going to be deceived again. Escaping the clutches of the women he sprinted towards the exit, but not before grabbing Dovelette's hand. "This might work...this might work..." Repeating those words to himself over and over he thought he would actually make it as he got closer to the exit. Sadly though Donovan was dead wrong, last time he left a Djin alive he was caught under some illusion, something would most likely end up happening this time as well.

Did you get my little pun? ^w^ By the way this has been by far the creepiest thing to happen so far. x~x Its actually bit creepy if you put yourself there.

The bride would hold the boy's body tightly, she began shivering, trembling in happiness as Donovan confirmed being the groom. The bride was so happy, finally, the lost love would return to her, after all these years as tears of joy slided down her cheeks. "Darling... it's you!... I-I missed you so much. I couldn't bare the fact to keel living without you... please, please don't leave me again." The bride seemed to be blinded by her yearning she did not notice Donovan's lie. The heart kept beating, with a soothing pulse, she was truly happy. It was no surprise she was hesitant at first when he asked her to stay while he was going to "pick some stuff" "W-why? Can't I just go with you?" The heart beat faster, there was anxiety to loose him again, but the gentle detail of holding her hands would made the bride trust Donovan with a gentle smile. "Alright.. I'll wait here... please don't take long." The bride told Donovan, before the boy would depart. He would quickly grab Dovelette's hand and run away. She didn't like that. As the boy took the first door to run outside, the Bride was already there waiting. "Who is she and why do you hold her hand?" She asked gently with doubt in her heart. The boy could feel it as he passed her by. "Why aren't you answering me?" She asked frightened, as Donovan bumped into her on the next corner, yet, his feet didn't stop and once more he passed her by. The sound of the sandstorm raged, as the dragon's roar would once more be heard. Leaving into the dessert, the bride's voice would be heard no more. They would keep running further into the storm. Once hidden within the sand storm, the two of them would stop. The dragon was nearby, so they had to be cautious. Dovelet's hand held onto him tightly, she was shivering in fear, perhaps the bride left such impression. "Onii chan.. I was so scared..." The girl replied to Donovan, as she nuzzled over, to be in front of him, with her head against his chest. The sandstorm kept raging, even he couldn't see beyond his nose. She held tightly onto him, the dragon was near and kept into roam. The roar seemed more aggressive than last time. The Little girl would keep holding onto. "Please don't leave me alone..." Asked the little girl, yet her touch was more tender towards Donovan, and even sweeter her voice. "Please don't leave me... don't leave me alone" She replied, as the sandstorm subsided. The little girl was no more. Instead the bride was holding him. "Why did you left me alone?" She asked, obviously mad. Dovelette was nowhere to be seen, was she left behind? As the Sandstorm subsided, the dragon would turn its head. The enourmous beast would roar viciously the dragon could now see.
➟"D-Dovelette!?" He only looked at the bride once before his eyes shifted towards the nearby perimeter of the desert. "I don't have time for this! I need to find Dovelette!" Snatching his hand away from the bride he looks around for Dovelette. Worried something might have happened he began to panic, just like back at the shrine. She didn't want to be left alone but he had let her down. The girl was nowhere in sight and now he would have to deal with the Bride. "This was your doing wasn't it!? Give her back!" Raising his voice to the bride he disregarded her feelings entirely which made him feel bad after a few seconds. "I...I'm sorry. Forgive me darling I just...sorry I screamed." Even if she had feelings he still suspected her to be the one that did something to Dovelette. "Me and the girl had to leave because we needed to take care of some business. We can talk more back inside so lets hurry in shall we?" Donovan gazed up at the dragon in awe, it was such a magnificently large beast. There was no way he could take the dragon and the bride alone, but then again he was almost never alone. Still with his current powers the chances of him winning were slim to none.

That post...o,o wow. I didn't think she'd fall for it. D: And that bride teleportation. xD

"W-what?! you are leaving with her? but why? ... am I not enough...?" The dragon turned its head towards the couple, sensing now the heart within Donovan's pocket. The beast roared threatening as the wings would aid the gigantic beast to change course towards those two. Shaking the earth with each step. "Darling, she bewitched you.. don't you see? she's just trying to pull us apart?" The bride said with tears in her eyes, holding Donovan's face before kissing his lips, trying to awake his mind. The kiss was bitter, and held grief and pain. The gigantic beast would still be on its way. Cold and without love for one another, or more likely towards the bride. The brunette would then push the boy away glaring at him in frustration. "You are not my darling..." Just as soon as she said that the dragon's head would fall with jaws open. Crushing the bride's body, trying to kill the pair in a clean blow. Blood splattered everywhere the moments the jaws collided. The rotten breath of the dragon as he roared would push Donovan away. Now he had a shorter track if he wished to go back to the ruins. But, would he reach them before the dragon would rush him like he did with the bride?
➟"NO!" It was too late for the bride, she was most likely dead and done for when the dragon crushed her body in a horrific scene. Donovan got up after the dragon pushed him back. "Should I even get back up...?" Pushing himself up from the ground he noticed that some of the brides blood splattered over his clothing. Noticing his crimson hands he nearly began vomiting but it passed while his blood stained hands were placed on his throat. You could tell from the rumbling ground that the beast wasn't done yet. It wanted to finish Donovan just as it did the last person. Using the heart he had obtained from the shrine, his body was thrown fourth as he began running at swift speeds back within the ruins. Dovelette was the last thing on his mind. Out speeding the dragon was easy with the new heart but he had no full control of it. One small measly pebble caused Donovan to lose his balance and face plant into the hard ground. Instead of getting up he just laid there sad and beaten. "Its my fault."

The heart was beating madly, as if it was a bomb that was about to explode any second now, was it fear? rage? there were a bunch of mixed feelings within this heart. It felt betrayed. None the less, Donovan had safely reached the ruins an few steps within would be out of the dragon's reach. The cursed beast roared as it tried to force Donovan out, but he eventually left the beast behind, jumping into the corridors and with time, the chapel. " -sob- ...Onii chan..." The whimper of little Dovelette could be heard just as soon as he got inside the chapel. She was sitting at the altar, with a familiar face next to her. "Now tell me dear, why would you lie to me? why would you want to take my darling away?" Asked the bride who seemed to be just fine. Having Dovelette sitting on her lap, with the oposite end of a rose, stroking gently upon the little girl's cheek, creating a small bruise upon her delicate skin. "I- .. I wan't my Onii chan -" Said the girl petrified by fear, shivering as she was unable to outrun the bride. Donovan could sense by the heart within his pocket, that the bride wasn't playing nor buying it this time. She was furious and frustrated who knows what atrocities could she bestow upon the little girl. There was no other way, she would have to be brought down. Just like the previous girls from the other realms. But this time, Dovelette's life was on the stake, as this was the only one who acknowledged Dovelette's existence so far. "And I want my darling, sweet heart... but we can't have all what we wanted sometimes" The bride replied the little girl as she soon turned to meet Donovan. "Oh there you are... I was wondering why you left us... have you seen my darling?"
➟"Wait a minute." Donovan rises from the ground and locks eyes with the bride he originally thought was dead. A sense of relief waves over him before he actually sees what situation he's in at the moment. "Dovelette..." In his pocket the heart was going absolutely haywire but he didn't even acknowledge its existence. "Please leave her alone miss...she didn't do anything." His voice was low to show that he wasn't aggravated. The situation was dire and Dovelette's life hung in the balance but one question would be answered before story time...would Donovan rise to the occasion or fall under the pressure. "I haven't seen your darling, but I have a pretty good guess on where he is." Clearly he was referring to the bones of the skeleton that harbored the heart. "Don't hurt her...I can't get you your beloved but I might be able to give you something more." Cursing himself for his powerlessness he grit his teeth. Watching the bride high and almighty atop the alter his frustration grew, she was just dangling her in front of him. There was no telling what she could do to Dovelette.

The bride would smile gently, holding the little girl within her arms. She would keep her eyes on Donovan as she approached to Dovelette's face. "Do you believe in fairy tales little girl...?" Asked the bride with sweet words as the hand holding the rose was slowly retreating the rose from her face. "Y-yes?.." She wasn't sure of what to answer, she was scared of that person. The bride would take away her eyes from Donovan the moment the white rose in her hand would sync in a clear move within the little girls chest. "Then you should pray that prince charming gets to you in time before your precious life is taken..." With that, Dovelette's eyes widened, but she couldn't scream, she felt slowly asleep. The bride would smile deviously as she planted a kiss on the little girl's forehead as if to seal her fate. Placing her aside she would walk down the altar to meet with the boy. "Now tell me dear, would prince charming save the princess?" She smirked deviously, the hear couldn't lie, she was very angry. "Shall we put an end to this fairy tale?" Asked the redhead while taunting Donovan to strike first. "But be quick, by the time the last petal on that rose becomes red as my lips, our little prince's life would have come to an end." Exclaimed amused as the first petal was slowly changing it's color.
➟"Y-You monster! If Dovelette dies because of this I'll..." Was now really the time to be talking? Donovan could feel adrenaline consume his body as it acted on its own. Still currently using the heart he had obtained back from the ferocious and horrific redhead back at the shrine Donovan used his enhanced speed to charge towards the bride with everything he had, once close his fist would become shrouded with electricity. Amazed by the display of electricity he felt a bit more confident, but Dovelette was still in trouble so he had to give everything he had and focus. Strangely enough this reminded him of the events at the lake not too far back, Dovelette was falling and he gave it his all to save her. Then the scene of her dead body flashed before his eyes once again. Every time she said onii chan brought him joy even though he hadn't a clue what it meant, he couldn't bare to let her die, especially because of him. I promise I'll get us out of this and you'll get to go to story time, so stay strong Onii chan.

by the way Onii chan means older brother or big brother xD

"You will...?" Asked the bride, expecting the boy to finish his sentence. On the mean time she would happily proceed to jump into fray, her hand would start emitting a dark pulse which she made sure to show Donovan by thrusting both palms against his chest. Should the palms hit Donovan, he would fell victim to soul purge. Disabling his weapons and hearts collected so far by a short amount of time (1 post of penalty) due to the interference it creates with the user's soul upon contact. "You have a lot of nerve to show up and try to steal my darling from me..."
