"He and whoever O. Thompson is are on my list," Hanna said to America. She did have a list. It was updated regularly. (For science?) They were the only two names, other than her own, that had donated books to the library, which she considered the best kind of community service.

A grisly but fairly hunky man approached, seeming like he'd had a lot more fun than she had in recent times. Hanna recalled Evan by face and not name, though only briefly. He had been in the Sahara. It was sometimes difficult to place exactly where Hanna had encountered various people, but she was a diligent journalizer and liked to keep a record of noteworthy meetings. Almost dying to a bootleg Star Wars creature definitely fit the bill.

She peered down at the sack of potatoes and watermelon. "The best use of that," she said, pointing to the watermelon and speaking to Evan, "involves a drill and a bottle of vodka." As for the potatoes? That was above her pay grade of I-don't-know-how-to-cook-at-all. Did Ramen count? (Ramen didn't count.)

With her hands free, Hanna found them itching for something to hold. She glanced idly back at the beer, but held off since most people were congregating to start. Nora seemed ready to dig in too, but was being similarly restrained and conversational. "Better now than I was a week ago -- no more horrendous, incapacitating burns. Can really keep a girl down," Hanna replied to Nora, assuming she was asking how she was, not whether or not she knew anyone in the graveyard yet. It seemed like a safe call.

He felt the squeeze to his hand as they stood on the roof and looked over at her, squeezing back in response. "Are you okay?"

Peyton should have expected the kiss. America mad good on threats and promises, but honestly, Peyton had forgotten. She just hadn't seen the Moon for a little while. The assault of lips against her cheek was unexpected, but not unwelcome, and she laughed before she was released, swaying slightly on her feet before regaining her balance.

This was why the red head was her best friend, right there.

Hanna's pasta salad was given a hungry once over before those pale eyes jumped to the tattoo faced trainee. "How you doing, Hanna?" There were no more bandages, so she at least looked well.

A raised brow met Evan's intoxicated greeting, and she gave a very small shake of her head before mention of 'Gir' and 'clean cuts' made her visibly flinch before she could catch herself. The accident was behind them, they'd moved past it. Time to let it go, right? Right.

"If you do manage to knock him on his a**, I hope I'm there to see it." Grinning, she turned back to Nora.

She didn't comment on the cemetery below. So far she'd been lucky, in that she hadn't been terribly close with anyone that had passed, but she wasn't naive enough to assume that bad things couldn't happen to people just because she cared about them. No, she knew better than most that that wasn't even close to true.

Rin took a quick short breath before looking at Melvin - her hand relaxing, "I'm fine."

"Seeing the tombstones of people who's faces I once knew is just... wrong. Is all." She looked at the buffet. "Food looks good, eh?"

There were a few things in life that Jeremy would always notice, and unfortunately for Noemi, she was one of them. Despite her sneaking to the area, despite her attempts to make herself as small and unassuming as possible, he found her. He wasn't even looking at her, and he knew she was there.

His Noemi sense was tingling, since his Molly sense was quiet.

"He-llo~!" He sang out as he threw his arms around the girl's shoulders from behind, pulling her back against his chest in a hug. "Miiiimi~" He greeted again in a fond tone, his chin on top of her head thanks to their height difference, and at some point had taken to swaying them both from side to side.

She would never understand how Jeremy knew she was there. If she knew he had a RADAR then she would've just stayed in her basement room and that was that.

Instead, her body stiffened automatically, freezing up with a chip on the way to her mouth. The voice wasn't Milo, and he usually didn't call her Mimi. The only other one that called her that was Jeremy and Shu, and obviously Shu couldn't rest her head on hers so...

"J...J...JEREMY!" the girl squeaked loudly, to shocked to stop the swaying from side to side. Being brave, she could do this, she could..."J..Jeremy, he...hello." She stuttered a bit, "Can...Can you please let me go?" She offered a chip for him to eat, so that he would let her go.

Jordan had taken a detour before going to the cemetery; without stating where he was going, he'd gone outside the walls and gathered his own handful of flowers. Someone or someones had taken the time to provide flowers, but he'd wanted to collect his own, a private ritual of respect that didn't quite touch penance, but skimmed its surface. He'd chosen what he wanted to bring, red and blue, white and yellow, and now he moved slowly along the rows, meditatively reading the markers, names mostly unfamiliar to him. He'd never known them, but reading each name as he passed was his gesture of respect; they were strangers to him, but still, now, he knew their names.

At a few more the more recent graves, he left his flowers, a single stem each for the ones he'd barely known, a bundle of flamboyant red lilies for Clerise and white for Clarice at the makeshift stone that hadn't yet been taken down, a leafy bunch of blue flowers for Killzone, all the colors he'd been able to find for Julie. His flowers joined the multitude of other offerings, and he stood looking at each grave for long moments, pensive. Other Hunters moved around the cemetery. He left them to it, keeping his thoughts to himself and respecting their space, their own rituals of memory.

When he'd finished placing his flowers, he left quietly, headed back toward the dorms.

Rep didn't go to the cemetery. It wasn't that he didn't dearly miss and in some cases love the people who were interred there, but he preferred to visit them on his own time, and did so frequently. Today there'd be other people there and there would be too much risk of him being openly upset and vulnerable.

He'd happily dropped off the meat with Harrison as he'd promised America and then sat down to grab some free food and drink for their efforts. A lot of the others seemed otherwise engaged in conversation.

"No thank you." Jan said. The singular item he'd eaten was all he'd require. "You can have it pardner." Al was naive and trusting, he had always been that way. It was convenient to keep him contented. He reached over with his only hand to take a glass of water and sip it thoughtfully.

"How've you been?" he asked curiously. "Still hiding things all over the praries?"

Dakota moved to Clerise's grave first, looking down at it with a quiet gaze. It was unusual for the moon not to talk to them, as if they were still alive, but at the same time, today he didn't feel like talking.

He ran his fingers over the feather she had returned to him, back when all he had was anger and sadness and placed it among the feathers. She had given it back against his will, now he was returning the favor. Added to that feather was her black ribbon, something he had worn proudly now replaced with the emblem of his specialty. A truly final goodbye to the first woman that had been his friend and lover.

For Julie, he actually sat in front of her grave and smiled. People left her odd things, color and clips and such. Just as she was a one point.

"Hey boss." Dakota saluted her grave, "Just wanna let you know that Moonsync broke up...sorta. I guess it was just...we all have different lives now. But we got a lot of new moons and stuff, so Imma try to show them how moon works and maybe make a couple of bros...and sisters and stuff. Hope you don't mind a girl in Moonsync right?" He laid his hand on the top of her stone and closed his eyes, "Keep watching over us Julie."

After that, he got up and visited a final grave, though he didn't know the huntress well, it didn't stop him standing before it. Nevada Burns. One of many, he could say. One of only more to come.

"Rest in piece little sister, rest in peace all of you." He looked at the graves, bowed his head respectfully and left the graveyard to work on his trainings.

"Ooh, Chip!" Jeremy reached out to pluck the offered snack from her fingers, and in exchange he let her go. The trainee hopped around her, tossing the chip into his mouth without any further ceremony. He spent a few delighted seconds loudly chewing her peace offering, but he wasn't still - he looked around at anything and everything.

"How're you, Mimi? You look kind of lost---HEY did you wanna go pay respects?" He pointed in the vague direction of the graves (meaning he was way off), and then settled for staring at her expectantly.

Al didn't skip a beat before the piece he was offering met his own mouth. It was quickly followed by it's brethren one by one, "thhs'rre good." The plate was cleared and Al made sure to chew and swallow the last of it before returning to the discussion.

"I've been good! I made some friends and like... eheh... interests I guess you could say," he flushed about the face. "I still hide some things, but not nearly as much! I think I'll stop entirely once my wall is fixed." Yeah, he guessed not much really has changed.

"Rep said he wanted that to be a special project but he hasn't mentioned it again since and I kind of feel like he has more serious s**t going on to think about me or my stuff much."

Evan hefted the watermelon in his hand as he considered Nora's challenge. "I'm sure I could," he agreed. "Might get a little...messy, though." The way his voice dropped and the wink he shot at Nora more than implied that he was absolutely okay with that if she was.

Fortunately, he was saved from making a complete spectacle of himself as some sassy redhead took the watermelon from him. "You are absolutely welcome, Miss," he replied with a much more innocent smile. "Can't have a cookout without watermelon. If it's not against the law, it should be."

The girl with the facial tattoos was given an approving nod. "Next time," he said, "when there's less chance of getting drunk on it and falling off the roof. Just give me a time and place, and I'd be happy to go out and get another one."

As for Peyton, well...at least the urge to tear her into bite sized pieces was less now. Maybe the alcohol was having an effect on Gir, too. He would have to test this theory out--frequently.

"Anyone got any tinfoil? We could throw some of these potatoes on the grill to bake."

"I'm peachy," Hanna said to Peyton. She noticed the girl tense, but didn't know why. Hanna had been out of commission for long that she was hard-up for gossip and drama. It was her extreme joy to know things, and that certainly applied to other people's business.

The watermelon exchanged hands, and she shrugged at Evan. "Next time then," she said, assuming this was not something that would actually ever happen again. There were so many more hunters now than there were in her hey-day. The next time they saw each other, he might have forgotten her already.

Taking a few steps to the side, Hanna selected a beer from the cooler and knocking the cap off using the edge of the railing. There might have been a bottle opener, but she was used to doing it this way. Most of her drinking had been done in alleys, like only the classiest girls do. Her eyes flashed briefly to the redhead -- the noisy one on Twitter, yes? -- but then she was walking back to the group that had been talking, much happier now with a beer in her hand. This felt more like the college that she sometimes missed than anything else that had happened to her at Deus to date. (Maybe other than the dorms.)

The food on the grill smelled good, and for lack of something to say, Hanna focused on drinking her beer and flitting her eyes around at the others.

Nothing big, Hanna just glanced at Rep.

"Oh my, really?" Jan's eyebrows went up curiously. "Well a growing boy has needs I am sure. Just be careful you don't break any hearts along the way. You don't want to be thought an outlaw." He wondered if the boy had even tasted the food given how fast he wolfed it down, but did not complain, that was what he'd brought it for.

"From what I have seen of this Rep character." he said. "He seems like a dangerous and capricious influence, a bit of a bronco is what I'm saying." He was not fond of individuals like Caelius and Rep, anything with that element of chaos inherent to it and abundance of emotion needed to be removed before it caused more damage. "I'm not surprised he hasn't yet fixed your wall. Perhaps you should ask other people for help with it?"

As Hanna gave him a look, Rep glanced up from the booze he'd procured and gave her a long, level stare, but said nothing at all.

Al laughed, "naw man, other way around." He leaned over to pluck another cheese thing off the table and tried that a bit more slowly as he listened to Jan describe Rep. He described him surprisingly well but Al decided not to chime in about that in case he'd overhear. "Yeah, I asked America. She said she had some sort of business venture going and... well. I have no idea how good she is at building, but I feel a poorly made wall is far better than no wall at all, right?"
