Guys maybe we should hold off on gifting the Nyx followers for a while. They're now trash talking us and calling us sour pusses over all of this claiming we're the ones taking things way too seriously now when it's clear they are.
Oh, yes we best not gift them anymore.
Agreed, they flip out over some flowers and suddenly we're hostile...
Never knew flowers were seen as a symbol of aggression.
I thought using the word "tactic" was a little severe. So very war-like. Flower Tactic, Daffodil Initiative, Operation Daisy Storm...

I have found several inexpensive bouquets on the MP. I don't know if I can be a regular gifter so if someone wants them to give out just send me a message and I'll send them over.
We will need people who can donate to those who gift. So you can definitely support the project in that way. I can add you to the list if you'd like as a regular donator to the project.
I don't mind doing it if someone wants to send suggestions my way as to who.
I'm obviously holding off right now because of the negative reactions involving the moonshine stuff.

We can still hit up the Welcome to Gaia forum and extend a welcoming message to new members. When I get home I'll throw up something we can use on the tag to new members. We want them to totally feel welcome on the site.
This is where the small inexpensive leaf pins in Agatha's shop come in handy because they go for 900 gold and can be a nice addition to an avatar if people feel like giving something more than flowers.
For anyone who's out and about gifting to people in the Welcome to Gaia forum here's what you can put on the gift tag.
"The members of the Gaia Casimir Alliance welcome you to Gaia! May your time here be full of fun and friendship and may you know that you will always be welcome with the GCA."
We want them to feel welcome and that anytime they want to make new friends on Gaia they can always come to the GCA.

SHould we link them to the guild or the GCD thread so they know what the GCA is?

Start with the thread in the GCD so they can get to know people first. Then if they want to check out the guild they can.

Chibi Halo
Most definitely you can be on the list. With as few people that seem to be actively discussing plot outside of our two groups a list isn't too necessary. Yes it would be nice to have one but at the moment I don't think it's needed in the thread. You can keep track personally using something simple like the computer notepad program though so you're not double gifting and I would recommend it for big runs like this.

I have reservations about a list like this, the cult is trying to get "spies" into the guild and if they succeed it could be bad if they could see which of us have targeted ignored Nyx followers. They're already insane, a list may give them someone specific to target.
Thank you Chibi!
@Both: I agree that we have to keep the list private. It's a good idea to list people in my notepad. *works on it* ..but I have another suggestion! Someone will collect a list through the PMs! All gifters will give their username lists to that specific person. biggrin
Can we also link the GCA thread to people who are not in the Welcome to Gaia forum (i.e. occasional GCDers, GCDers from a hiatus, etc.) ?
I'll also be anon-ing people that created plot threads these past few weeks. I have someone in mind...

By all means please do if you'd like. The more people we can have checking out the thread the better. 3nodding

I updated our messages to include a link to our GCD thread. I figure since we're going to be gifting to people who don't know about it or never really thought about checking it out we better point them to it.
