I WON I WON! "Y'know. Yer aim was all wrong, kiddo. You gotta..." But the other mam had walked away, clearly unimpressed with is own ability. She shrugged, the motion causing a tear in her sleeve to sag open. Preacher gritted her teeth and tucked an errant strand of hair behind one ear. Yellow eyes narrowed as she carefully sized up the distance to the basket. Who knew she was this competitive? Tossing the ball from hand to hand, she closed her eyes and shot. And succeeded! The paper ball neatly landed inside the bin. It seems as though Preacher had won. But what? She leaned against the booth, a slight smirk gracing her face. "So where's my million coin, ye?"

The allure of food had been tempting all on its own, but the offer of yet another game seemed tempting. "Don't mind if i do.." Alec asked taking a bit of bread, and a slice of meat to go with adding in a thank you.
Eyeing the paper crumpled up he reached out taking one eyeing it suspiciously before giving it a go. Here goes nothing, he thought closing one eye as he gave the paper a toss.
Missing he tsked as the piece of paper went rolling off, missing. He'd over estimated the toss.

Trying again, he grabbed for his second piece of paper. Taking aim he gave it a toss. The girl near him had just managed to win. The pressure was on.
He felt the hairs on the back of his neck rise. Was it going to make it? Looking at the crumpled up paper hopefully he held his breath.
And...wait a second! Had it fallen in? He looked a bit surprised, blinking as it crashed in he gave a little shout of excitement. "Nice!" he grinned the red head rather pleased with himself. After several failed games this was a nice little boost. Plus he still had one shot left.
He still needed one more to win. 2/3 the rules had mentioned hadn't they? Come on lady luck.

With the last shot in his hand, he let out a long slow breath trying to get his focus. One shot left, and this would determine the victory or not. The worse that happened was of course he missed. "I doubt we'll get coin" he said to the girl and her smirking expression. "But..then again I wouldn't mind either." He agreed with a wishful sigh, chuckling as he took his last shot, tossing the crumpled paper. And he missed, perhaps because he'd stopped to talk a moment. "Hm, that didn't quiet hit the mark. Guess that's a wrap for today for me anyway."

The booth spoke of wealth, and Bas had to admit he was slightly envious of that giant plate of food. It was practically beckoning sticky fingers, but despite being utterly lazy most of the time, Bas wasn't a thief. He was far more interested in the game, and what he could win off of the girl if he beat the game. "Sure, what d'ya give me if I win?" Apparently, the idea of a prize, while tempting, wasn't really necessary to convince Bas to play.
He grabbed the crumpled up pamphlet, not even curious to see what it actually read. Instead, the blue-haired young man sized up the trash can. He was good with his hands, so clearly he was going to be completely amazing at this game, right? Right? The makeshift ball teetered dangerously on the rim of the trash can before toppling inside. "That still counts," the young man pointed out before Danny could contest the throw.

Bas took a moment to fix the clip in his hair, re-positioning the flower so it wasn't completely hidden in his hair. Ah, he had forgotten about that for a while now. Well, if it was still in his hair he was going to look damned good with it. If he remembered, he'd slip it back into Elliot's 'freebie' bowl. Actually, he wondered how his friend was doing, considering that he was stuck back at his booth. Bas would probably return soon, if only to earn himself a little more money (and pies).
He eyed the trashcan again, praying that the gods were with him so he could win something nice. Like a job, then he wouldn't have to do all the sweaty and grimy work his father was involved in. On his second throw, he managed to make the ball fall into the trashcan with apparent ease! "Hey, dude, do I even have to throw again?" It was two out of three, he already won! Where was his prize???

Alec came back to the game he'd tried the days previous, eyeing the crumpled balls thoughtfully. And chance to work on his aim was a welcome distraction. Taking up the offer for another three chances he grabbed his first shot eyeing it thoughtfully. He recognize Danny from Elliot's shop, but not the blue haired male. While Danny hadn't said much given she was pawing through the freebie box..he at least was beginning to recognizing faces more and more as the event went on.
Instead of worrying about the other two people he took careful aim making his first shot silently spurred on by Bas's good shots feeling some what competitive. Even if it was all in his head.
Miss. He really did have mixed results with his shooting skills as he'd discovered yesterday at the balloon pop game. Hm..he'd just have to keep trying.

Taking his next shot he waited to see what would happen. Shifting his weight a bit he gave a small jump as he tossed the next crumpled flyer at the trash can. Surely he would at least make something?
"This is actually a pretty awesome game." He admitted sheepishly to Danny, glancing at her before looking back at his trash he was aiming for. "I just think I have bad aim." He scowled a bit.
His attention became hyper focused at the ball balanced on the edge of the can. Alec felt himself hold himself in place watching the ball expectantly. Seconds later it flopped into the can with a rewarding plop sound. "Nice!" He looked a bit surprised having thought it would miss again.
That was one down.

I WON I WON! Last shot, what would happen? He felt a bit nervous even if it was just a game. He'd been in this spot yesterday and choked under the pressure. All he could do was try right? Hesitating he sent a silent pray to anyone who would hear him, not being particularly religious before he tossed his shot at the trash can. So precarious...He looked on in disbelief as it teetered on the edge of the trash can. Alec crossed his fingers, and much to his relief it sunk into the can like the one before it. No way! Holy crap. Looking at the lively girl he couldn't keep the grin off his face. "Hey! That totally makes two!" he spoke up addressing her directly clearly pleased he'd accomplished the task, unlike yesterday and it showed in demeanor as he spoke with her.

With his bag of food in one hand and a titan plush tucked under his arm, Shun had somehow made his way to Danny's booth. He grunted lowly before walking up, taking a quick glance around. When he spotted the girl, he took the titan plush into his hand and tossed it at her.
"Repayment for the curry. Now we're even," he uttered, then turned to leave. He hadn't mentioned anything prior about owing her anything, but there it was now.

Danny laughed as Cecilia left, giving her a wave. Weird as that twosome was, they were good people.
She looked at Bas and said, "Um duh." She shook her head in with dissatisfaction. Kids these days had no respect for the art of paper basketball.
Another boy scurried up to play and Danny gave him a thumbs up. Good work!
But then Shun approached and Danny was all bushy tailed and bright eyed. "Commander Shun!" she said, giving him a salute as he approached. It left her sort of flailing when a stuffed Titan was thrown her way. Ewww she didn't want this thing- it was gross! She would put it in the trash when no one was look.
A gift was a gift though! Especially when it was coming from Shun. "Hey wait up! I'll go with you!!" She leapt across the counter and began pacing after him.Quote: Danny is now OUT of the booth and the game is CLOSED!! Try back later!
