"Huh? Why would it surprise me? Harold is an awesome name. Nice to meet you Harold!" She pointed to the others she was with as she spoke their names. "This is Rikki, that's Cyril, and that's Shu- Commander Shun. He just got into the military!"
She then realized she was talking about Shun and she wasn't supposed to be talking about Shun. But then Shun said something to her.
He wasn't following his own rules very well!
Still, she kept up her overdramatized whisper. "The wind says you don't EAT it, you care and love it forever and ever. Or so the wind's told she's never actually had a fish because she doesn't like water much."

As Cyril was about to make his last attempt at the game he listened to the girl tell Danny her name was "Harold". Cyril let out a small laugh, covering his mouth so others couldn't see his smirk. Like the others, Cyril wasn't the brightest but he had enough judgement to know the girl was lying. With all this in mind,
he made his 3rd and last attempt at the game for the day.
Nopeeeeee done with this gameeeeeeeee Cyril pouted as he threw the fragile paper net. [Lolz rage quit]

Shun slowly shook his head, then turned to leave. He didn't have any reason to be lingering here. Plus maybe he could get away from the others... if for a short time.

Whatever the wind and Shun were talking about, Rikki didn't hear it. He was very focused on the fish.
Fish were important.
He did manage a jovial wave at the booth owner when he was introduced, but otherwise his attention was occupied.

Danny also began the arduous task of catching a fish. But since she was talking to Harold, it was a bit hard to concentrate.

On his third try Rikki still didn't get a fish, and he was really sad about it. He looked to Danny with Really Upset Eyes, hoping she'd catch one for him.

Aaaand still no fish.
Danny gave Harold a sour look and tugged at Rikki's arm. "That's all the tries we get, man. We can try again later."
Besides, they had a commander to find!

"I'll be back!"

Goldfish! Who could possibly resist those cute, bubbly-eyed fish? Certainly not Cecilia. It was perhaps a bit of a disappointment to the girl that they couldn't keep any of the fish that they caught, but that wasn't going to stop her from giving it a go anyways. She couldn't say that she was any good at these kinds of games--in fact, she didn't think she had actually ever played such a game--but there was a first for everything.
Offering Lenore a friendly smile as she stepped forward, Cecilia stooped down and took hold of one of the paper scoops, brows furrowing as she stared down at the fish thoughtfully. Was there...any sort of special technique that she needed to catch one of these? Or was it just luck, or...?
With a little shake of her head, she gently plunged the scoop into the water and gave it a go. Focusing on the one closest to her, she watched its movements, guiding the scoop beneath the fish and slowly lifting upwards.
...Ah.
"Oh. Oh, I did it!" Beaming, Cecilia turned to look at the girl manning the booth with a bright smile, "I did it! ...Er, do I just...carefully drop it back into the water now?" Actually, it was making her a little nervous watching it writhe and wriggle in her scoop, trying to get free. Poor little fish.

Lenore didn't bother to hide her amazement, however small it may have been. "Someone actually won a game this rigged. Huh." The girl turned around and pulled a paper out of a box behind her. Turning back around, she shrugged. "You can keep it, if you want. I know I said you couldn't, but I don't really care either way. The manager will find something to yell at me about, anyway. Besides, this way I can say I was "being friendly". That should get me off the hook." The girl completely ignored the fish pun she had unintentionally made and continued. "Even better, if more people like you come along and take all the fish, I can go do something else."The girl handed Cecilia the slip of paper she had pulled from the box. "Here's a voucher for a book. If you don't know how to get to the store, there are directions on the back." She looked down at the pool of fish. "You can keep trying, if you want."

Gasp. Gaaasp, she was allowed to keep the fish!? If possible, the girl brightened even further upon being told this, glancing down to look at the cute, bubble-eyed fish in her scoop with what would probably be considered as affection. That being said, she didn't want to cause the other girl trouble--she most definitely did not want to be the cause of her getting yelled at!--but on the other hand, if she was hoping that people would take them so that she'd be free of this place.
...Maybe she could just...take this one? There were still plenty in the little pool, after all.
Taking the offered voucher with her free hand, she chirped a bright thank you before glancing down awkwardly at the hand with the scoop and goldfish. "I, um...do you have a little bag that I could fill with water, maybe?" She asked hopefully, stooping down so that she could splash a little water on the poor thing in the meantime. She didn't want to submerge it back in the pool and lose it--who knows if she could actually catch it again--but she was worried about it being out of the water for so long as well.

Lenore looked around at the girl's request. "Uhm...." She began to rummage around the stall, and finally came across some bags, although she didn't know what they were for. Shrugging to herself, the young girl decided they probably weren't important and offered one to Cecilia. "Here you go. Thanks."One fish down, lots to go.

Taking the offered bag with a word of thanks, Cecilia crouched down to grab a little bit of water before gently lowering her new goldfish into its temporary home. "You'll need a name," She murmured to it softly before looking back up at the other girl.
"Thanks again! I hope you have a nice day! Maybe I'll be back to try again or chat with you some more later!" With a bright smile and a spring in her step, Cecilia hurried away.
