"That decree... Do you recall it, Darian?" the navy blue haired elf asks her cousin.

She pauses before saying, "Oh, I remember.... That was the one dealing with the Mystics...."




((Ooc: Here's the idea, if you agree to it. Moonleaf and Okalwa could know each other as Elvish Lords since they are both in that posible position. The Elf King about 10 yrs. after the Wanderers thread, could make the decree that all Mystics are to be killed. From there, Philip Okalwa goes to his house and tries to convince Darian to leave them, so he won't be hurt. However, he tries to protect Arelen and then is taken away from the village. How does that work, you think?))

"Cousin, if you forgot, which you probably have, the King was killed about fifteen years after the decree was signed. Many Mystics were infuriated by his decree, though he claimed that he had been tricked into signing it," his cousin says as they finally arrive at the village.

She sighs, "I understand that you're angry about it, but we can't change it now. However, you can stay here and steam about it or you can come to the market with me."

"Okay then," Kitara Elvini says as she takes out a list, "Your mother, Lady Moonleaf herself, would like me to pick up the following items."

She shows the list to Darian as they enter the marketplace, "It shouldn't be too hard to find these items."

Halfway through buying the items, Kitara notices a look in her cousin's eyes. She pauses in her shoppings to turn to him.

"Cousin, are you alright? It's like you're a shell, a fragment of what you used to be. You're not yourself right now."

She shakes her head, "My cousin a romantic? I never thought I'd see the day. I mean, you never talked about Arelen as you do her sister."

After a sigh, she asks, "What is her name, anyways? You never mentioned it earlier."

"Margem...." Kitara debates for a bit as she turns back to searching for the items, "That is a beautiful name. When do you think you'll be able to go back to her?"

"I don't think it will be as long as a hundred years, though. I mean, it does sound, to me at least, like true love. True love won't let a hundred years be between a couple," Kitara says before pausing, "At least, I don't think so."

She thinks about it, buying another item before handing it to him to carry, "In your case, I hope and pray that's not the case, that you'll see her again soon."

"However, for now, Darian, we need to get these items to your mother," the elvish lady says, picking up the last of the items.

Whistling lowly, she calls for Jay, who flies in quickly and picks up a flower bouquet that she had bought.

"Bring this to Lady Moonleaf and tell her that I have another surprise for her when I get there," she tells Jay in his dialect, "Don't tell her what, though. If you do, you may find yourself with less feathers. I need Darian's arrival to be a surprise, to cheer up his parents."

Jay chirps in agreement before flying off with the daisys in his talons.

"I'm so glad he has done some weight lifting," she laughs, "If he hadn't, I wouldn't be able to have him bring flowers to your mother every time I come to the market. It's something I always do, a tradition."
