Frankie sighed, hands in his pockets, as he and Don walked through the city. He hadn't been here in a long while, so this place was a sight for sore eyes to him. As he kept on walking, he turned to Don. "So," he said as he walked in front of him and turned around, walking backwards, "we're s'posed to be meetin' someone 'round here. Hate to say it, but I don't know who they are--it came as an anonymous request. But they'll recognize us, hopefully..." He explained to him with a shrug. "While we're waitin', wanna grab some grub? ...Maybe hit a bar or somethin'? You'll have ta lead the way, it's been a long time since I've been 'ere last." Frankie offered. He wasn't sure if the kid was old enough to drink but was there even an age limit in the Netherworld? It wouldn't surprise him if there was and it wouldn't surprise him if there wasn't. Eh, guess they'll figure it out eventually, right?

➟Walking along he noticed all of the different demons. Some were tall and some were short, some were just flat out odd. From time to time they'd pass by a demon that looked human enough to pass in the normal world. "Whatever this job is, I hope it's good." Donovan was thinking long and are about the mission. Was he really cut out to be a mercenary? The kid was thinking so hard that he had almost let Frankie's words go by. "Huh? Oh, well hopefully they'll recognize us. And if you want to hang out at a bar or something, we can. I'm not sure where I came from, for all I know I could be older than I look. Who really knows? Because of my young look I can't really drink in the human world, but it doesn't seem to bother me. I'm not much of a drinker anyways..." Donovan hoped that Frankie wouldn't think he was weird because of this. Usually teenagers his age were off partying and getting into trouble, but he didn't seem to care for that life. Even if he did want the life it wasn't like he could go through that lifestyle when he was currently living in death city. If I take Frankie to a bar I could just ask for apple juice, plain and simple. While they were walking he stopped all of the sudden. A realization had hit him pretty hard in the face, it was more assumption than realization actually. "Wait a minute Frankie...your older than me obviously. Since you were the one to ask if we could go to a bar or something...it means a little more than you'd think. You aren't trying to intoxicate a young teenager like me when your older than you appear...are you?" Donovan began walking again, he couldn't help but wear the biggest mile on his face. "You know if this wasn't the Netherworld you'd be put in jail or something." The kid was laughing so hard that he began to form tears in his eyes. "When you think of it that way it sounds hysterical, but I for one don't drink."
OCC: I don't mind. And I couldn't resist this post. x'D
"The bonds I forge are what give me the ultimate strength, their hearts strong and brave shall guide me to an absolute and unbeatable power."
Frankie nodded. "Mmhm. Should be a good one. The woman, or at least I think they were female, said somethin' 'bout money not being an object. Should be pretty important if they're willin' to say that to me of all people." He said with a little laugh. Frankie was aware of how greedy he was but it wasn't something he was going to change. In all honesty, he needed it. It was more or less how he got by in life. Plus he was saving... For, uh... Something he needed. He knew vaguely of what the job was but he didn't want to tell Donovan things he was not 100% sure about. He knew it involved DWMA... And considering where they were, it would not be in DWMA's favor.
Frankie shrugged a little at the kid's words. "Eh, you should be fine 'ere. If they don't let ya in, we can go somewhere else." He shrugged again. He, since he was walking backwards still, saw that Don had stopped in his tracks. It took a minute for him to process Don's words but when he did, he smirked. "Oi! Don't assume stuff like that!" He said, nudging him with his elbow in a sort of joking manner. He couldn't help but laugh at the thought, however horrible the reality of it was. After regaining his composure, Frankie smiled. "That's good to hear, I s'pose. Good to have at least one sober person 'round to knock some sense into the drunks, yeah?" He laughed a little before he continued walking, this time he was facing forwards as to not knock into anyone. "Well let's get goin'. So, which is it? Bar or restaurant? I'm good with either."

➟Donovan stopped laughing after a while, he could tell that the relationship was sturdy. They could joke with each other easily so things would go well in the future, probably. "Regardless of the mission, let's succeed. I don't want my first job to be a total bust." He searched for a nearby restaurant but couldn't find anything with the english language. It wasn't too odd, for the Netherworld anyway. I don't know what that says..finding a restaurant shouldn't be this hard. While he walked he listened to Frankie, the guy sure was funny but he was still kind of mysterious. A mercenary like him was sure to have his secrets. Donovan wouldn't ask though, mostly because they had just met, plus that stuff was personal. Besides he already learned plenty after the time spent at the shady alley and the park. That wasn't really important as of now, he was in search of a eatery of sorts. "No I'm sure they'll let me in, I'm a demon to! I just happen to look human...very human..." He sighed out of frustration, he couldn't seem to spot a single legit restaurant. "This is harder than I thought, I can't seem to find a single place to eat." Just then he spotted a bar, it had a sign with big english words. The place seemed good enough so he instantly grabbed Frankie's hand and dragged him along, just like how he dragged him to demon city. "We're going to stop there!" As Donovan and Frankie arrived at the door they were stopped by a tall humanoid looking demon. "Sorry but we don't allow humans, as a matter of fact it's against the law for your kind to be here." Donovan was a little surprised, he had come here many times before so he wondered why anyone would suspect he was a human. "I'm sorry sir but I'm full demon, can't you check or something?" The demon began to sniff around Donovan, sure enough he discovered that he was in fact a demon. Because Donovan had lived in the human world for so long he had the scent of the land all over him, it covered his true scent. It was a real question how Donovan had avoided anyone's attention with this. "Alright, your clean. Head on in already." "T-Thank you!"Donovan went inside along with Frankie, he took a seat in one of the bar stools near the counter. "Well here we are boss."
"The bonds I forge are what give me the ultimate strength, their hearts strong and brave shall guide me to an absolute and unbeatable power."
Frankie nodded. "Course! The way they put it, it sounded like they were makin' up a team of people. So we might not be the only people doin' this." He added. It was more or less of a warning as well. There were times that Frankie was hired for a job and he had to compete with a couple of other people the same person hired. Some people liked to be through in their making sure it got done. As they wandered around, he could see Donovan was becoming flustered with finding a place. He wasn't exactly paying attention when Don had grabbed his hand. So when Don began pulling him alongside him, Frankie nearly tripped. " 'Kay." He said in response to Don saying that's where they were going.
When Don was stopped, Frankie patiently waited by the entrance for them to let him in. He himself had already passed, but he figured that he might as well wait for his, er... business associate? Yeah, sure, that worked. That's more or less what he preferred they be, really. He never liked the term 'friend', it had too many implications for his liking. When they finally let Don pass, he walked with him to the bar and sat next to him. At the use of "boss", he couldn't help but grin. "Ya don't have to call me boss, you know. Just Frankie." He corrected. It was a kind gesture but being called "boss" made him feel a little weird. It felt like he was at the top of some major corporate office or something when, in reality, he was really just doing this mercenary stuff to get by. Frankie sighed, unsure of whether to get a drink--and by drink he meant some sort of alcohol--or something to eat despite the quality of bar-food being not so wonderful. He figured that it would be best to not meet his client while drunk so food was probably a best option.

➟"A team of people? Well I guess competition isn't too bad from time to time." Donovan looked at the area around him and got a general idea of how many people were there at the time. He didn't know why he accounted for all of those around him, but he had much less to do at the moment. After Frankie said that the pair had a mission he expected to be off for some mercenary work or something, he didn't think he'd spend his first time at a bar with somewhat of a stranger. When Frankie tried to correct him on his art he merely rolled his eyes. "Frankie it is then..." He let out a sigh as he just sat down quietly. "So you can order whatever you like really, I don't care. I'm just going to war until the clientele arrives or something." Donovan just looked down as the bartender gave him and Frankie menus, the kid still had no idea what these foods were exactly. Demon food obviously remained supreme here, although they did seem to serve some human foods, which was great considering Donovan didn't eat hearts or this strange muck they had running around here.

Lilitu walked down the main street. Once again carrying her "Looking For Work" sign. With Zelda disappearing on her she didn't have much choice but to try and seek work again. She still had the four souls she'd gathered in her lantern as proof that she was willing to kill, but their constant blue glow was begining to annoy her.
Frankie smiled. Yeah, competition sounded like it would be interesting. Well, who knows--maybe it wouldn't be so much competition after all. Maybe they'll just be working along side others. Their client didn't say much about the mission... Oh well, guess they'd just find out when their client arrived. Frankie stifled a chuckle at Don's eye roll. Well, that was just too bad. He didn't like being called boss, it made him feel like he was way too responsible than he actually was. When they were handed menus, Frankie immediately spotted french fries on the menu. Well, he wasn't all too hungry and that seemed to really sound good to him right now. "A'ight. Just a thing of fries for me, then." He said. "You gettin' anything?" He asked Don, simply curious. Some of these items were so strange... Nothing he'd ever seen or heard of before.

➟As the waiter looked at Donovan he simply nodded his head in refusal, he didn't really feel like eating. "No thank you, I'm fine." While the worker left to go put in Frankie's order, Donovan was left with the guy. "So what do you want to talk about while we wait? I'm an open book really, or shall I say mostly. Whatever the case may be I'm likely to answer any other questions you have about me. We could also talk about something else if you'd like." The young teen was lost on words at the moment, making small talk was forced. Usually Donovan was shy so it'd be expected for him to be quiet. Hopefully Frankie would be able to bring out Donovan's true colors as one outgoing teen on occasion. "So...how are things? Have you been on any great heists lately? Did you have one crazy and wacky journey somewhere?" Now Donovan was just making things awkward.

Appearing in Demon City, Vincent would become the center of attention as most of the beings there could detect that he was a half-breed, but since he still technically part witch, he would be allowed to enter the city, though he would be met with hostiles. Despite this, Vincent seemed unaffected by the growing mob of witches and demons, in fact, it almost looked as though he was expecting this happen. As more and more people arrived, Vincent soon found himself outnumbered 10 to 1, even then, he showed no fear. No, the look in his red-eyes were that of a boy possessed by his own power and engulfed in hatred. With a smile on his face, Vincent deliberately egged the mob on, "You aren't even worthy enough to lick the scraps off my shoes." he told them all. Of course, this was all he needed to stay, as the entire mob came charging at him. However, before even a single one of them could reach him, Vincent would unleash an incredible amount of dark energy, forming it into sharpened spikes and impaling all those who dared to stand before him. The streets became filled with the blood of various creatures and soon chaos ensued as the rest fled in terror. While this happened, Vincent only stood there, smiling as blood trickled down his face. This was one way for him to release all the pent up rage and aggression, but he was becoming more and more unstable each time he used his darkness powers.
Yami landed thru the portal safetly, She was by herself by the moment." Might as well shop here, it will be less dangerous then shopping in the heart of the enemy. And no need to hide my soul too." Takes off soul Protection." and Might as well stay here awhile away from them." Yami then walks around the demon city getting many looks at her scars and fresh up wounds but she didn't care. She took out a book and started to read awhile walking. She didn't even notice the streets where cover up with blood, and dead corspes everywhere. She passed by a male with brown hair but she didn't even care then.
