Chandra yawned heavily. It was interesting to be back, when she had met Marc she didn’t really think he was one for a tribe. She had told stories to Kieran and vanhi of course of a tribe that was night based and didn’t mind the fact there where vampires and half vampires out there in the world. Vanhi had ended up like her, not quite full like her brother. He had apparently been talking about her stories a lot because before she knew it Marc and Kieran had thought going back and joining would be a wonderful thing. So now here she was, her sons off being mostly productive members of the tribe and her back to working with kits.

Vanhi really didn’t like sunlight. It was harsh and always seemed to make him tired and bleh. His family line or at least the ones who were full, never did burst into flame like some other species but they did get a sunburn faster than normal. Of course now it was time to switch and he could just go home and collapse. Collapsing into hibernation for the next 12 hours sounded delightful. He yawned again barely able to keep his eyes open when he heard It.
“Ah what seems to be the problem Miss. Andi?” He yawned, mmm that was quite a big lead pile she didn’t…. Well the voice sounded muffled so… logically she would be in that pile…“I can help pull you out?”

Ion watched as the day shift moved out of the tribe and he was struck by how large the tribe had gotten. There were a large number of foxes living here and it seemed more just wanted to show up. “I supposed it’s time we time we decided if we are to live here and declare ourselves a tribe and stop others from just deciding to live in our lands.” He mentioned it to those who were going into the cave to relax as well as the few stragglers of the day shift who were still in the cave. “Could you pass the message along that I intend to close the boundaries of the tribe to others for a time as it’s time to make sure other foxes know this is OUR home for those who decide to stay. Should any choose to leave this is there time to do so.”


(Folks if you could make your nice pretty official joining post for the tribe. All current members have Ion’s permission to stay and live in the tribe but it’s up to your foxes if they want to fully stay in the tribe or not. If you want to leave this is your chance to do so before I try for going official. Seth will be hitting up those outside of the cave while Ion will be poking those inside the cave. so just have your fox responding to the correct fox letting them know if you are staying or not )









Seth nodded and headed out herself to pass the message to those who were out and playing in the light of the sun. It was tempting to roll her eyes that it took so long for Ion to decide this since there had been kits found on their tribe land recently.

Koh moved about feeling pretty good this morning. There had been a dart of blue this morning that amused her. Meeting her daughter at the entrance of the cave they started out to see the morning light which made her happy and feel more awake and alert. “It’s a great morning isn’ t it Lithie?”
She giggled and poked her daughter who made a small chirp then made a thrilling noise in response to her question. “You’re right. A bit chilly this morning but I think it’s invigorating.”


Lithie chirped and followed her mother. She had a hard time speaking with her beak so it was just easier for those who knew her to follow them about for a bit. After all they could understand her chirps and trills well enough. More often then not they just kind of put in their own thoughts to it but that didn’t bother her to much. She thought she might see one of the kits who came to the tribe. She poked her mother and chirped before heading to the blue kit. She chirped and thrilled inquisitively at the little one not sure what they were doing. It was fun to see and interact with the kits as they seemed more interesting in finding and answer to questions then adults did. It was like a game at times.

The little call of good morning was ringing in Astharoshe’s ears. That hyper little permakit was already gone in a flash after pouncing on Ion and Seth. She had to bite back a laugh as tired as she was. The little brat was cute as she darted about. Smugly she looked down at smaller leader of the tribe. “Your daughter is quite active this morning.” Lakita might as well be the leader’s child as much as the perma got away with. She would tease the leader and not let the younger vampire live it down. His glower made her chuckle as she moved deeper into the caves warming her flames. She had a small project she was working on the shadows and would only bring it out if it came to fruition. In the meantime she was going to keep it to herself.

Smiling at Lakita he greeted her as she took off. “Good morning.” And she was off after Seth to greet her. The sass form the deava made him frown at Astharoshe. Ion shook his head as the deava was headed off to do whatever she was being so secretive about in the depths of the caves. She was snarky but not bad and had a soft spot for kits and other cute things. He considered the fact that he had Astharoshe and Seth always teasing him. Why did old women always have that inclination? It was a mystery beyond him that only the modeities could solve in the meantime he was going to head to rest. He didn’t see Tric entering the caves but it wouldn’t take long for Tric to find him as everyone knew were Ion slept. He heard noise outside his sleeping area and figured it was just a bat in the caves moving about again. Though a feeling nagged him. Perhaps it was Seth or Ver or someone with an issue that required his attention. Sighing he stood expecting to see Seth with something to nag him on rather then let him sleep.

Alaraph yawned and was tired. She was trying to be out during the day every so often as did her twin. Both had gotten used to the night but she found that every so often she appreciated the night after being up during the day. Thus here she was dead tired having tried to sleep last night and not having been able to do a good job. Sliding out of the cave she heard the foxes playing in the leaves and she shivered feeling the n** in the air. The warm light of the sun was both nice and evil at the same time. She scooted to the shade quickly. She nearly considered spending her ‘day’ of daylight in the cave like her brother was. Seeing Seth she nodded and sleepily wandered off the the woods to check for game.

Heze rolled over feeling pretty good but not wanting to go out in that cold weather. Yawning he rubbed the bridge of his nose with a paw. He supposed he should work on cleaning part of the cave while the night members were still mostly awake rather then risk waking them all up latter. Heading back into the cave he started to grab debris, leaves, twigs and little things that had been swept in by the wind or troublesome little brats who always found the strangest things to bring home. He smiled looking at a half chewed stick and was curious which kit had done it.
