"Apologies," he said, sincere, and carded fingers through her hair, gently working out any and all snags, extremely worried.

What had done this, to her? Had it been the dream that he'd not been privy to?

(It wouldn't be the first time, something in him said, that a dream had sent someone drifting, and he banished the thought with an uncharacteristic fury.)

Even when America pulled herself together, Kostya knew that she had done it through sheer force of will, rather than truly being okay. It was disturbing, to see her like this. He wondered if she would run, after this, if she would disappear into the jungle at a pace he couldn't keep to a place he couldn't follow her to.

"I see," he said, sincere, and wound his hand in hers, grip too-tight, as usual. To him, it had only been a few hours of separation, at most. To him, she had not gone anywhere at all.

(Except to a room, but he had no memory of that.)

Gale only half noticed Ami, but when he did, he tipped his granola bar towards her in greeting.

Lex was just given a Look before Gale leaned against Stormy, the side of his head against the side of hers. He ate another bite of his granola bar and was about to attempt to say something witty when a familiar voice caught his attention.

Gale turned his head and smiled slightly. "Morning," he said, and then added, a little bemused, "Not...that I know of."

He nudged Stormy's side gently. "Davey, this is Stormy. Stormy, Davey."

Maebe's outfit was all blues and browns and soft highlights - but one thing it absolutely refused to be, was pink. Not today. Not for a while. She'd get over it, but for now, she felt more comfortable in clothing that reminded her she was back in Deus, and everything was just as it should be.

She showed up leisurely for the meeting, and sat as far in the back of the bleachers as possible, crossing her legs and stretching her arms up as far as she could, for a long, lounging cat str-

She stopped stretching when she realized what she was thinking, and put her hands down. No more cats for a while, either.

He returned Leslie's greeting with a mute jerk of his chin, a sort of frat-house wordless type of friendly acknowledgement, and he raised his eyebrows at his goings-on with Abbi and Stormy before effectively shutting them out with another "give him hell" grin at the redhead, leaning back with his phone.

His messaging was slowed because he was watching, over the top of the screen, America's disturbingly un-America entrance, and his relief at Kostya sitting down next to her was swallowed up almost instantly by a swell of hateful jealousy. He said nothing. He answered the texts he was already getting, and pretended he hadn't seen a thing.

He raises an eyebrow at learning Gale hadn't been in Wonderland. He'd assumed all the Hunters had been sucked in, but clearly that's not the case. "Well, you missed out on the fun. And the life-threatening terror, of course."

He waits until Stormy looks away to let the corner of his lips curl up. Nice, mate, he mouths to Gale. He's glad his friend has someone. They look comfortable together, and happy.

"Moon Division," he correctly Stormy with a half smile. He's sitting on his coat, so it's hard to tell. "I was talking about the Wonderland dreams. Gale missed out, but did you have them?"

They were two (completely opposite) peas in a pod, these two. Mimsy looked like she'd just been through a breakup, and Robert looked like the blanket she was using to wrap around herself while she sang heartbreaking songs and cried into her pillow. Of course, neither of these things were true, and the reality was far darker, but without context, it looked like it.

Shu came barrelling towards them, and Robert reluctantly released the melancholy hunter in his arms that he'd been unsuccessfully trying to cheer up for some time now, in order to scoop Shu up in his arms and twirl her around in the air.

"Well look at you, just as alive as the first day I saw you!" He chirped out, laughing. Once he put her back down on her feet, he bent in to whisper something very quietly to her.

"Mimsy needs extra loving, okay? She really misses Wonderland."

He did too, in his own way, but Robert was just so damn happy to be alive. He couldn't stop himself from glowing about it.

His arms were back around Mimsy, wrapping her up like a blanket with enough room to let Shu get in if she so wanted.

Since Leslie had never really refused Abbi anything, she only raised orange eyebrows at him and said nothing else. She did smile when he settled back against her, releasing her attempt at rest on his shoulder since it wasn't likely she would fall back asleep. Now that she had been upright for a few minutes, and found Stormy safely by her lover's side, the girl felt more awake but not necessarily prepared to tackle the man on Leslie's other side.
His smile had momentarily made her quiet, but his admission of where he'd gotten the cast nullified that rather quickly. All sass aside, since she had figured he'd gotten it somewhere in the field, the girl sat up a little straight and nodded at Taym knowingly.
"You're lucky he didn't do something worse... Like take your eye!" Another very knowledgeable nod. "My friend got his eye taken... It was... Really awful." Now she just looked uncomfortable and shivered to shake lose the memory. Too early for all of that...

"Sorry... All the same." Abbi offered at the end with a small shrug before she stuck a hand out at him. "I'm Abbi, B-T-W. Abbi Killian, Moon." A small smile was tried because no one could count against her for being friendly!

The island bred enthusiastic redheads like dry counties bred moonshine. He looked up from his phone and took her hand: his own was alarmingly, horrifyingly thin and strewn with calluses but the handshake was surprisingly firm and practiced.

He shifted uncomfortably in his seat. He hadn't been there when Finn had gotten what he had--maybe if he'd seen it he'd have shut up sooner in his own meeting--but he'd heard. "Obadiah Thompson," he said. "Death," he added, after a hesitation and with a reluctance that suggested he'd rather not have been compelled to add that part. "There's no assigned seats," he pointed out with another wolfish grin. "So I assume you have voluntarily found yourself in this a*****e's company." He indicated Leslie with a jerk of his thumb.
