Blood began to drain right out of Hiro's nose, tears mixing with the blood as it dripped and formed a small puddle on the padding below. Salem suddenly kicked the steel steps, and Hiro's body jolted forward, smacking down near that pool of blood as the tears came out more and more. The pain, emotional and physical, was causing tears to escape the Ethnic Enigma's head. Hiro lay in ruin, the fans becoming a bit more quiet, realizing the serious display they are witnessing here tonight from these two men. Hiro slowly lifted his head up form the cushioned from the floor, a look of pain and agony in his eyes. He slowly spoke, believing that somehow Salem could hear him. "Put...Put me way...It's over..." he whispered, as he dropped his head back to the ground, the tears welling up in his eyes once more. The crowd was near silent, a few rowdy fans yelling for the action to continue, but they knew something was about to happen.

Salem kicked the steps and kept walking, looking down at Hiro's limp frame as it was mangled amongst the wreckage of the steel steps, which spilled over next to the mess still made from the upturned announcers' table. Rather than comply with Hiro's wishes, however, it seemed Salem was more focused on something else...and as he turned the corner of the ring and crouched over, that 'something else' became abundantly clear. Straightening up, Salem held in his hands the very chair Hiro used to beat him with at the start of the night's match, but now the steel felt impossibly heavy in the champion's grip...or perhaps it was merely his heart weighing him down on that slow walk back towards Hiro, who was lying in a pool of his own spit and blood.

"No, Hiro...it's not over..." e said softly, fighting back tears with a fierce and frustrated expression that almost choked him for words when he tried to speak just to maintain his composure. Seeing his friend hurting, suffering, it was a tough pill to swallow. And being the one to inflict it was like swallowing that horse pill with a dry mouth and sore throat. But as the champion stood nearby, he shook his head, knowing that what came next was the only thing that could come next...

"It's not over, because you're STILL TALKING!" Salem shouted, swiftly raising the chair high before looking to smack it down hard against Hiro's extended arm, just at the wrist. But the blow would soon be followed by another, and another, each aimed at different limbs as Salem let out his fury, unleashing a side to "The Copperhead" that left the even the BBW Faithful uncomfortable watching the wild strikes, Salem slapping the steel onto bone and concrete with rapid, crazy swings.

"Shut UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP!"

It was unclear just what was landing and what wasn't as Salem swung hard and fast at Hiro repeatedly, but no one questioned what the champ was saying as he bellowed, almost screamed, at his opponent. Perhaps there was more to this than even Salem had understood. With the way Jarel Damone, Freakshow, Ryan Killman, and others had tried making the world champion look weak as of late, one would imagine it hard on anyone to chin up and persevere. But Salem had been all smiles, since winning the world title. Was the prospect of these swirling black clouds that surrounded him lately taking a larger emotional toll on "The Copperhead" than was previously thought? Was this aggression directed at more than just someone looking to dethrone his historic reign? Was it meant to be a message for Ryan, for Freak, for anyone else who sought to criticize him? Or maybe it was fear. Perhaps Salem was afraid that they were all right about him. Maybe the snake was scared, and the prospect of actually feeling out of control was wearing his patience thin. Whatever it was fueling his rage, it seemed nothing would stop Croft from carrying out his mission of defending his world title at any cost, at whatever sacrifice - even his very friend!

WHACK!

WHACK!

WHACK!

One after another, the chair collided with Hiro's arm, causing the contender to scream out in pain, his face covered in blood and tears. The chair continued to reign down, until finally, the champion stopped connecting. At this point, he had seemed to be in a frenzy of slamming the chair down, not even watching what he was doing. Hiro took this moment and pull his arm in close to his body, holding it close to his body, as he couldn't exactly feel anything in it except hot, throbbing pain. It was the same pain he felt in his head, and deep down within the darkest pits of his heart. The chair smacked the ground, creating sparks. Sparks, like those from a match. A spark had hit Hiro, and something happened. Something...changed. The Ethnic Enigma's eyes grew wide open. The crowd, sensing something changing, got louder, women screaming, men cheering, children crying. Hiro just changed, dramatically. The entire park could feel it. While Salem was still losing himself, smacking the ground with the chair, Hiro took his still useful arm, and put a hand on the apron. He used it to slowly, but surely, pull himself back up to a vertical base, keeping his eyes glued on the champion.

"S...St-Stop...Salem...."

Salem was bringing that chair down like an axe to the tree, but something about the way Hiro was reaching up to claw at the apron startled Salem into pausing...the champion, taking a step back as if to separate himself from what he'd just done, or maybe in disbelief that Hiro was still trying to hold on despite the punishment being doled out to him. Back to the barricade, Salem could feel the hands of many people slapping his sweaty back in appreciation, but at this point he was numb to almost everything around him save for Hiro. Even the crowd, riotous in their rambunctiousness for this title match that went so far more than skin deep between these two fighters...even they couldn't reach Salem's ears with all their cheering and applauding. Salem's eyes were focused, his lips parted in a snarl, his eyes still quivering to fight back the urge to cry from the physical and emotional pain that this match was placing upon him. Nonetheless, Salem held back from attacking his wounded comrade, waiting across the aisle with his chair like a territorial beast.

"Hiro, just stay down." Salem said, almost having to force the words through his gritted teeth with his tongue, his jaw was so tense. "I know you want this...I know you do...but don't make me...don't make me do this to you..."

It seemed that Salem was attempting to appeal to his friend's sense of reason, hoping desperately that Hiro would make this easier on himself and not force Salem any further than he had already gone. His friend was mangled, bloodied, and the carnage was only going to get worse the more Hiro resisted him. If he couldn't understand what Salem was trying to say, then it would mean only violence would be the only language these two men could use to communicate this understanding to one another.

Hiro's eyes were growing dim as he stared Salem directly in his eyes, hearing his words like they were the sweetest song he'd ever heard. Give it up. Hiro really wanted to. He gave Salem the option to end this earlier, and he didn't. Now, Salem was giving him the same option. Hiro used his good arm to stay up on the apron, and he kept focused on the Champion.

"I wanted this so bad...and I've realized...No matter what I do...I cant win...not against you, that's for sure...I've won in a very long time, Salem. It was foolish of me to think I could...Hiro Shin-Mozas...can't...he can't defeat you."

Hiro looked down, drops of blood dripping off his almost covered-in-dry-blood-face. This was the first time he had broken eye contact with Salem in well over a minute. The Cuban-Jap's gaze remained to the ground...until a small sound came from him....A whimper? A sigh? A breath? What was it? It...It was a chuckle! Hiro...was laughing?

"The...The Ethnic Enigma....The...The Cuban-Jap...The Hero...The Role Model...He can't defeat you. He can't defeat anybody! Heheh...I said... I trained with someone to prepare for this match, Croft..."

Hiro's head shot up, his blood covered face glistening from the spotlights which shone over the ring so the fans could see. A teethy grin covered the lower half of his face while the top half housed two fully opened eyes, staring right into the Copperhead's soul.

"I trained...with Blackjack, Croft. The most dangerous and violent man of all time. He showed me one thing that I surely needed to know, Croft...It's that Hiro Shin-Mozas, the Ethnic Enigma...he cant beat you. No, No. He can't beat you at all. You know who can though? Hiro. The...The Most Hated...The Most Hated Man in our Business' history. I needed to embrace the hate one last time to conquer you, my friend. It all comes in threes. Death. Strikes. The End. This is your third BBW Championship match...and your final one at that!"

With that, Hiro's suddenly stuck his food under the ring apron, and quickly brought it back out, sliding a trash can lid at Salem in an effort to distract him and collide with his foot. If the effort was at all successful, in a mad dash of adrenaline, Hiro would attempt to deliver a superkick right at the chin of Salem Croft!

Salem watched, and listened...intently, one might say, to every word Hiro said, paying close attention to the tone of his friend's voice, the expression on the veteran's face, as he made his confession to the world, but more importantly to the world champion. But as Hiro lifted his head and faced Salem with that haunting, wide-eyed stare, "The Copperhead" recognized the man before him not as his friend, but as the bloodthirsty heathen that had made audiences everywhere despise him. The gibberish about death and threes, it wasn't the plea for mercy or the declaration of pride that Salem was expecting, but the hallucinations of a madman. Apparently, Hiro had taken a few too many chair shots to the head, because his words and actions were far from that of a man who Salem respected, seething hate audible in the challenger's voice as he kicked out the lid and moved for the superkick...

But the tin lid did little to separate Salem's focus from the task at hand, and as he held the steel chair up to protect himself, Hiro would find his foot slipping through the seat and tangled in the workings of the chair's hinges. Gasping in surprise, the audience themselves became captivated with the look on Salem's face now, staring across at Hiro while the latter had only one leg to stand on. It wasn't rage, or frustration any longer that saturated Salem's scowl...no, it was instead a smirk, a grin, the most obvious of smiles that "The Copperhead" now sported, knowing that at last he could quit fighting his friend and put to rest the monster of hatred that Hiro wrestled with, inside! Wrenching the seat closed, Salem would seek to bind the man at the ankle with a savage grip on the chair before snarling, shooting a leg up to turn a Superkick of his own right into the man's jaw! If Hiro wished to be "The Hated One", Salem would sure give the man something to hate!

The Copperhead didn't understand the monster he was dealing with.

Hiro's foot got lodged in the steel chair, much to his own shock, as well as those all around, watching this brawl. The wide eye'd look which was once of hatred, turned somewhat to horror, but back to hatred once more. This match wasn't over, not just yet. Hiro displayed his own wonderful strength of leg...as before Salem had the chance to vice grip in his ankle, the Most Hated Man in Wrestling History used all of his strength to bring his leg back down, ripping the chair out of Salem's tight grip in the process! The widened eyes of hatred on a mad man once again looked the champion dead in the face as the challenger threw up a hard uppercut with his good arm, the right arm, and aimed it right for Salem's throat!

Salem's hands were occupied with the steel chair, but his attention was suddenly disrupted when Hiro summoned up his reserves of strength to withdraw his leg from the chair and throw Salem's superkick attempt off-balance! Forcing Salem forward a half-step with his jolting recovery, the champ didn't have time for any quick-witted counter or righteous retort as the steel was stripped from his hands, the retractive motion of Hiro's leg bringing him right into the crosshairs of the incoming uppercut! His jaw rocked, Salem's face snapped back, bouncing like a bobblehead doll from the impact. Losing his footing, Salem tripped over his own feet and fell backward, toppling over the barricade and onto the feet of a few people who were in the front row, only barely managing to avoid being brought down by the wrestler's dead weight while he hit the exposed concrete. While many gasped at the sudden turnaround, others booed the dawning villain's surge of momentum, the champion left rattled and wounded as he struggled to push himself back up from inside the crowd, a trail of blood-laced drool hanging down from his mouth while he lay on his stomach!

With the jaw-jacking uppercut successful, and Hiro standing there, the tides had turned. The sadistic look on his face was something no one had ever seen from him before. He wasn't being goofy. He wasn't insulting anyone blindly. He wasn't running his mouth. He just looked like a lunatic who finally snapped. Salem toppled over into the crowd, and this gave Hiro a chance to reach down and remove his ankle from the chair. While he did so, the Embodiment of Hatred picked the chair up, and slammed it on the ground. The wind was starting to pick up. It was getting colder. Hiro picked the chair up once more, taking a second to slam it down once more. Why do this, one could think? Simple: Hiro was trying to get the dents out of it from Salem's slamming it earlier. However, it seemed to be doing more bad than good. Anyway, Hiro stood there with the chair, his eyes set on the barricade where Salem had just toppled over. He was waiting for even the slightest view of Salem to become available, because when it did, Hiro would swing the chair from the side and try to nail him with it!

Salem was struggling to get himself back up to his feet, slowly pushing his forearms against the floor in effort to get himself up to the barricade...but in the time it took "The Copperhead" just to place his hand on the top of the security wall, Salem reconsidered getting up blind...hearing the crack of the chair he'd used earlier as Hiro beat it repeatedly against the ground. With Hiro distracted, Salem slid along the back of the barricade, making sure to stay hidden as he moved a couple feet over to grasp a chair that'd been knocked over during the commotion of Croft flipping to the outside. Folding it up, Salem took a couple seconds to breathe while he adjusted his position, looking to spring up and swing the chair just as Hiro meant to, from the opposite side right towards the man's face!

Hiro walked to he barricade with the chair in hand, his dry-blood covered face looking like a large burn. He looked at the people who booed him and hated him on his way to the barricade, and he smiled, proud of the reaction he received. Just as Blackjack had told him, he embraced the hate once more. Reaching the barricade, suddenly, the Champion popped up! He swung his chair, and in a mad flurry, Hiro swung his! The chairs connect, creating a loud banging noise! The fans "ooo" and "ahhh"! Hiro attempts to keep the pressure on the champ be trying to have his chair win this duel, pushing it into Salem's, and trying to knock it down!

Salem tensed his jaw as he felt steel meet steel, the impact reverberating across the arena with a shrill sound. Each man's metal was as ungiving as the mettle in their eyes, which were also locked on one another just as their respective instruments of discord had become. This struggle for supremacy, the thrill of being challenged by someone who knew you as intimately as a brother, the competitive rush of the moment overwhelmed the champion as Hiro added leverage to try and pin Salem's chair against the barricade. The crowd rallying behind him, "Copperhead Croft" furrowed his nose and growled, grinning through tightly clenched teeth as he tried to pry his chair up off the section of railing and over his head, looking to wedge Hiro's chair down against the opposite side just as he'd done!

Hiro looked Salem directly in the eyes, his blood stained teeth in full view as a sadistic smile replaces his painful frown from earlier. Hiro's biceps bulged, showing off exactly how much power it really took to keep the champion from whacking him right in the head. However...Things didn't look quite good, as suddenly, Hiro found himself falling forward, Salem pulling his chair up to break the power struggle! Hiro's chair landed on the barricade, and Hiro kept his strength imposed on it to keep from falling to the ground. He quick shot a look up to the champion, who was pinning his chair down now, and the challenger looked to be in dire straits!
PostPosted: Wed Apr 16, 2014 5:25 pm

Some people in the audience were holding in their excitement, watching anxiously from the edges of their seats while waiting for what would happen next. Others were less guarded, openly cheering at the battle of strength going on between challenger and champion. Most, though, were just happy to see Salem holding onto the upper-hand (quite literally, at the moment) with his chair keeping Hiro's firmly to the barricade. But though all eyes were on him, Salem's were dead-set on the fear that had flared up in Hiro's face, the bloody grin replaced by a frightened frown. Shaking his head slowly, Salem tried to lift his weapon off the rail and swing for the side of Hiro's head, knowing he had precious little time to strike!

Hiro indeed had a somewhat frightened frown, that was for damn sure, because this could hurt. He looked up at Salem, his eyes getting wider, it seemed like tears were some what forming again...but what about everything Hiro had just said? All of those hatred-filled remarks? Was he going back on it again, already? Suddenly, Salem released his hold on the Hiro's chair, and in swift motion, slammed Hiro over the head with his chair! The crowd looked on in pleasure and agony, Hiro's die hard fans cringing, as the chair connected with the contender. However, this was going to be a win-lose situation for Salem. Albeit hit with the chair, as Salem released his, Hiro's went flying up, aimed right for the chin of the Copperhead with more strength than an uppercut from Mike Tyson!
