King walks over to the desk again, forcing himself to face the duo. The tent seemed somewhat more chilly with them about. He grabbed the Flip off the table and with a few swipes of his finger again, he looked over at them. He turned the tablet inside out, closing the laptop. "I just sent the email to Matt. Consider it booked. And remember... matches in BBW are always No Disqualification. Do try to keep him out of the hospital if you can, though. Medical bills are getting very high."

2.0 crossed his hands, holding the laptop, in front of his groin in a professional manner, as he awaited their response.

Both siblings then grinned at the exact same time, to the point where the resemblance they had to one another was eerily similar. It seems they got exactly what they wanted. "Beautiful, beautiful..." He rose from his seat, to which is sister followed in suit. He would then offer his hand for King to shake. "2.0...you're amazing at your job, don't let anyone tell you any different." Of course he would say that, he already got what he wanted. As she said this, Dallas stood behind him, giving King a very satisfied smirk.

"You know, I'll try not to, but I don't let the peasants opinions of my work get me down. I just do what I have to do, and I do it better than most." King said with a gentle bow to the pair. He looked at Marshall's hand hesitantly, but after a long moment, he went to shake it firmly. Dallas, he noticed, had not offered her hand.

"Glad to see someone here is a professional." What he meant by that was up to debate. Obviously, it was a genuine compliment, but was there more to it than that? Or maybe part of it was a jab towards some officials in other former work areas of his. Marshall turned to his sister after the handshake and muttered to her, "Let's go," before pulling at her wrist to get her to follow him to the entrance of the tent. However, rather than following her brother's lead, Dallas moved up to the desk and offered her own hand at Kelly King to shake. Where he to accept, she would lean in a little and say to him, "Don't be a stranger," followed by a sly smirk and a wink, before pulling away and proceeding after her brother, where the duo would leave the tent.

King did accept her hand, but he didn't shake it, he instead lifted it up and gently kissed the top of her knuckles, like a kingly gentleman would, accompanied by another gentle bow of his torso. He smiled up at her, but kept his gaze off her eyes before letting her go. "Goes the same for you... And your brother." He added the last part as an afterthought and cleared his throat. When the duo left, a raven caw'd and flew right by the tent and in front of Marshall and Dallas, before arcing to land on the roof of the General Manager's trailer.

King walked across the short distance of grass, leaving his tent, to cross into the General Manager's Trailer. He opened the door and then shut it, holding his laptop tablet. Looking across the way at Matt, he showed the General Manager the screen, showing the most recent news article posted on BBW.com. "Are we going to talk about this?"

Matt sat at his desk after having yelled for a stapler earlier, clearly more relaxed than before. He was lounging and remained silent when King walked into the trailer unannounced. It seemed they were co-existing better than people thought. "... About what?" He mumbled until his eyes focused on the article. A quiet left his lips in response, "This is the first I'm hearing of this... what do we know?" Talent was missing, and Matt wasn't gonna handle that well. There were no room for snarky remarks now.

"Well, we know that we've lost a lot of money for fraudulent payments for services not rendered, and that no one has literally seen the guy in at least two months, but a nurse I spoke to makes me think it's much closer to three." King said as he pulled the tablet back closer to his face and swiped a few times, checking his emails, before shrugging and looking up. "I don't know what to say."

"Three?!" Matt's eyes grew wide at the mention of one of his talents being lost for THREE MONTHS. He leaned forward in the chair and stared up at King. "He's been missing for THREE months and we didn't get a ******** word?! No one checked on him?! We've been shelling out money to treat injuries that aren't being treated, AND paying his salary?! What kind of ******** hospital was he sent to, King? Do we have ANYTHING to go off of here?" The General Manager was a sea of questions and frustration.

"All I can tell you is that the hospital is going to pay us in spades for the money they stole due to my amazing legal team, and that our asses, personally and as a company, are covered because we did send people to check on him, but we were always turned away due to excuses made by the hospital." King said, looking at his tablet screen, not at the General Manager. "I have some of my old FFA guys out looking for him locally, but if it's been three months, and he hasn't turned up dead, then he's probably not there anymore."

"Well, he's your friend, Kelly," Matt mumbled in response, slouching back in his chair afterwards and crossing his hands over his chest. "We're missing talent, even if he's not been on the show in months. He's a name, a big one. We need 'em back, at the least to be sure we're not paying a deadman. Is that all you can do?" The General Manager asked with genuine concern, a rare moment.

2.0 looked up from his screen and looked at Matt. He opened his mouth but for a few minutes didn't say anything and then breathlessly said, quietly. "I don't think there's much more we can do. We'll stop payment on his checks... missing person reports say he hasn't been using the money... Just sit and... wait... I guess." King sounded rather defeated.

Matt's eyes focused on the Head of Talent Relations for a long moment, going so far as to take his aviators off and toss them onto his desk. A quiet sigh left his lips, a hand moving up to rub against his brow. "Stop the paychecks, do what we can to find him. Keep this as quiet as you can, I don't want people to think we just let employees go missing."
PostPosted: Tue Apr 08, 2014 8:28 pm

"Media's all over it, GM. I don't know how quiet we can keep it. Just gotta play damage control." King said and shrugged. "I'll keep my ear to the ground." 2.0 said as he moved to the door.

A groan left Shanahan's lips at the notion. He already had people badgering him with questions regarding the OECW situation, he didn't need this hanging over him too. "Well... lemme know when we know more then..." He grumbled under his breath in response, saying nothing else to stop his associate.
