The Duck was on the run, and Batsu knew that he was heading towards the shore. If he got there then Batsu would be completely screwed. The medic couldn't swim to save his own life and running on water was only gonna get him but so far. s**t, where was Masaraku when you needed her? She could have finished this guy off with ease... on land as well as underwater. But she WASN'T here so he had to make due with the resources he had.
Batsu continued to run and had caught up to the guy at one point until he sped up and past the medic. Batsu tried to kick it into high gear but he wasn't quite as graceful with that as he stumbled a bit. He still remained on his feet but now the Duck had a considerable lead. There was still a trick up Batsu's sleeve. The boy reached behind him and grabbed a few arrows, loaded his bow, and shot the arrows at the Duck in rapid succession.
