It's always just me, A voice in the worlds concert Just trying to get a bit louder to be heard!
She nodded to his response and moved away from the counter to move to her machine to mix a few more drinks. As she worked she hummed a delightful little tune and simply thought about the male behind her. He could be anywhere right now, but it kinda looked like he was choosing to be here with her. It was nice to think that he chose to be here, to be with her in this very moment. She turned back to him and leaned close against the counter again to be somewhat close to him only to see him look away only slightly enough for her to lose her sight of his face beyond the hood. Of course, she was close enough to hear a slightly disturbing sound coming from him...bones cracking in a slightly obscene way. "Whoa...that was so gross..." She said softly with a blushed giggle, she even moved her hand to her mouth that couldn't close from her shock. Her eyes lit up and she looked back to him. "How do you do that, doesn't that hurt?" It was like every little facet this man coveted was breeding curiosity in her mind. She wanted to unravel him like a puzzle, and maybe understand the mysterious looking male more than anyone else might.

The hoodlum gave light chuckle he overheard Rose's comment about him cracking his bones. She was bewildered about how he do that not have it hurt. "It's not that hard and it doesn't hurt so long as you struggle too much." Axel knew that some people absolutely hated the sound of people cracking their bones. That's why he loved to tease them the most. He could pops almost all, nay, every bone in his body. All he had to do was use his powers. "I can do just about every bone." He bragged as he took off his shoe and began popping the tiny knuckle bones in his toes, then putting his shoes back on. "Anyone can do it." He said looking up at the siren. "Even you. But I wouldn't you do it. It sort of becomes a habit." Axel then reached his pockets and brought out one the chocolate bars he bought from the store where he met Rose. The hoodlum's sweet tooth knew almost no bounds when it came to the milk chocolaty goodness of...well chocolate. [quot=Maxy Wexerg"]

She watched as the handsome hoodlum made a spectacle of himself with his cacophony of bone noises! With every sound and body movement the siren couldn't close her mouth. She just giggled and even looked away! "Wow, that's so nasty..." She commented as she listened to him talk about it, the sound made her cringe but it didn't change her feelings for him. It was gross but it definitely was just another quirk that made her curious of his character. She finished her laughs and sighed softly. "Oh I probably won't be doing that, I like my body to be silent if I can help it."
She watched as he pulled out his chocolate bar and she wondered where it was he could have got that. Rose had a mental facepalm occur and realized where it was they met. It almost felt like they met weeks ago instead of just that day...they had really developed as friends in such a real short time..."The only real habit I have is...I tend to hum when I'm nervous, I remember it used to irritate my mother so much!"

(I still can't get over the absolute adorableness of Rose in that picture of her.) Axel laughed as Rose found herself a bit disgusted by the sound. She was one of the people who didn't like the sound. This made the hoodlum smile and shake his head. It shouldn't have surprised him. Rose was such an innocent girl. It that very quality that Axel didn't want to take away form her by exposing her to his true self. She might run away from him He definitely didn't want that to happen. Axel already felt attatched to the siren. For crying out loud, she was changing him! "That doesn't really surprise me." He said while chewing the Snickers bar in his mouth. "You like to sing, so humming is just another natural thing for you." Axel then looked out the exit of the coffee house. There were still no police cars looking for the stolen car he was driving around in yet. It would probably be a good idea to leave now before they came and exposed Axel for the true person he was. He got up from his seat and looked to Rose with a smile. "I better get going. Getting a little late. I'll see ya around sometime, alright?"

Leprechaun_Sean You think she's cute now, just wait until I get to use her bathing suit outfit change! smile

Rose found herself feeling a tinge of sadness when he told her he had to get going. It was hard knowing she couldn't keep him here but she knew that would never be the case anyway. She wondered if they really would see each other again, would they just continue where they left off, in this tense mood... She looked to the wood below her that reflected her cute face back at her as she wondered. She took a smile and looked to Axel again after gathering her thoughts. "Oh you don't seem like one to have a curfew, but I understand, everyone has a place to go." She paused. "I'll see you around Axel..."
After a few hours she clocked out and hurried on to Kalula's bookstore to see her roommate before heading home.

If he didn't have to leave because of the stolen car, Axel would have stayed longer. Perhaps walk or drive the siren home. But he was a man who was constantly running from the law and staying under the radar. He couldn't afford to be caught. As Axel head for the door, he could hear the bittersweet reluctance in Rose's voice. It would be cliche and uncalled for to quote Shakespeare. What could the hoodlum do that was one better. An excellent idea came to mind. Just as Axel was about to walk out the door, he pushed down the hood the he used to obscure his face from the world and turned back to the siren. "Hey Rose." He called with a smile on his now visible face. "The next time you and I meet up, we should go to the beach or something." The hoodlum then left with his hood back over his face, exiting with his Cheshire grin.

Yukiko took a puzzled expression on her face. "Talk with Tylar?" She asked, taking a sip of her iced tea and thinking it over. She returned her attention to her friend, smiling. "That sounds nice." She said, although she looked away slightly. She was a little nervous.. She wasn't too close to Tylar, and hadn't spoken very often. Looking back to her friend, she smiled. "Although... I'm a little worried. I don't know him as well as you.." She added nervously, frowning for a moment.

JaeNee would walk beside Varen as they would come to a coffee shop labeled, 'Coffee&Cake' as she would look up she would look at Varun saying. "This is the shop I passed by, how about you?" JaeNee asked as she would wait for him to answer, if it was the same one she would wait for him to lock his bike and would open the door first and walked in. When coming in she noticed a sign that read. 'Free Wifi.' As JaeNee flipped open her phone she would look at the bars seeing that internet was soaring up, finally a place with good wifi, the supermaket didn't have any which sucked. As she would come up to the menu up top she would look up and wonder what she wanted, she turned to Varun asking. "So what do you want Varun....kun?" JaeNee asked, using kun, she never really used the honorific kun on a male before but she used it if she started to like someone and he was one so far.

▂▃▅▆█Mister Cool Waters Stopping outside of the little shop, he gave a nod to indicate that this was, in fact, the shop he had passed on his way to the grocery store. He took a couple minutes to lock his bike securely to the bike rack out front, not wanting the precious thing to be stolen, even if it was a bit old. Standing, he brushed his hands off on his pants before stepping into the establishment hot on his companion's heels. Taking in the inside of the establishment, he had to admit that it was a nice little place, and would definitely serve his coffee and baked goods related needs. He could see a bakery case situated next to the cash register, and he took a moment to pick over its contents. Looking a bit confused at the honorific taped onto the end of his name almost hesitantly. "Coffee. And maybe a sweet." he once again eyed the various pastries lined up neatly in the case, an inner struggle over which one to eat occurring. "What about you?" he returned the question passively, skipping over completely the matter of names and honorifics.

Seeing that he had a confused look on his face JaeNee didn't know if calling him kun was the right answer, maybe san was better? Maybe he was just fooling with her, or maybe she took a bit to call him kun, agh she didn't know what to do. With a sigh she would answer his question at the very least as she looked up and would answer back. "Hm I think I'm going to go with you too, Coffee and ...... I'll have that chocolate Chip Cookies, 3 for $1 is a good price in my book." JaeNee said as she would go up to the counter as she would tell the casher. "One Coffee and that 3 cookies." Jae Nee said as she would take out her wallet, unless Varun wanted to pay for hers which would peek her interest even more, but if he didn't it wouldn't change anything about him.

▂▃▅▆█Mister Cool Waters Gently shuffling his companion aside, he placed his own order of a large coffee and one of the scones. It had cranberries and nuts, which would definitely serve his purpose of an afternoon treat. He pulled his wallet from his back pocket, offering the appropriate amount of money in exact change. The old fashioned Richard had drilled into his head the importance of paying for female companions, and there was no harm in such a small purchase anyway; he made decent enough money, it was really only a few dollars anyway. Waiting patiently as their items were retrieved, he picked up the small tray and nodded his head to indicate a small table by the window. He sat, setting the tray carefully, though it dominated the table. "So how long have you been in town?" he figured it was as good a place to start as any, taking a long drink from his coffee. It was thick and hot, the bitterness a welcome flavor.

Considering Yukiko's words, she took another sip of her lemonade, setting is aside after several moments of internal debate. Finally, she spoke up, her voice quiet but clear to the girl across from her. "To be honest...Tylar was apart of my vision. His duties as charm bearer were revoked." She took another quick sip from her drink, just for the sole purpose of calming her nerves. The vision had taken a toll, and its message had been frightening. The idea that her charm could be taken and Tylar was relieved of his seemed like a bad sign.
{ooc: first off, SO sorry about the wait. I never even noticed D: Secondly, the only reason I have to add in this bit about Tylar is because the rp'er has been so inactive. ): }

A small frown formed on the kitsune's features as she heard this news. Reaching over to Katrina, she placed a hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry.. I'll be right there with you when we tell them the news." She said kindly and reassuringly, smiling at her friend. "I'm sure you won't lose your charm.." She added softly, going back to her pastry. When she heard about the possibility of Tylar being stripped of his charm-bearer duties, the girl frowned. But before she could say anything, Kai spoke. "This is troubling..."
Yukiko looked to her demon fox familiar and frowned. "Way to kill any of the positivity, Kai." She retorted.
Kai seemed to be deep in thought, however, so he didn't respond.
{{Don't worry about it <3 (: And d'aww.. Do you think you'll be finding a different rp'er for that charm bearer, then? Have you PM'd him letting them know,or find out what's keeping them from posting? o: }}

That was an unfamiliar voice, and while he had been here for some time, Chris was a relative unknown. One day he drifted in out of virtually nowhere, keeping a young girl in tow at all times. The imposing seven-foot tall monstrosity of a human often carried the girl with the white beanie on his shoulders, but upon entering a building in which he had to duck under doors, he held her hand as they found a suitable seat for themselves. It was a loving scene, but Christopher always made sure to keep note of his surroundings.
The giant of a man wore a large brown coat to cover his massive frame, but it was worn open. The coat was dirtied from constant travel, and underneath it was a pristine white hoodie should he ever find himself unprepared. His hands were heavily bandaged due to scraps here and there from battle, and his skin lacked pigment. His strange appearance was augmented due to his violet eyes, but his daughter shared similar traits. He was, for all intents and purposes, a veteran, and so far...he wouldn't complain about the quality of life here. Alyssa Lamont, the girl that followed him, was the last thing he had in the world...ironic, then, that he was giving her this unhealthy junk.
Alyssa Lamont was a bright and cheerful girl who had yet to be seen without her white cap. She wore a white sweater underneath a crimson jacket, along with dark-blue jeans and grey/white sneakers. She was oft oblivious to the danger surrounding her, but it never presented itself enough to make her a real target. "Daddy." The girl's words caused Chris to turn to her. As he opened his mouth to ask what was wrong, he felt something sharp stab him in the side of the inside of his mouth. Sharp metal followed by a sweet taste...it was obviously just cake on a fork, but Chris was surprised he had been caught unaware by his own daughter.
He placed his hand on the pale girl's hat, rubbing her head before pulling the hat over her similarly violet eyes. "Look at you. You're getting faster." Chris smiled when he spoke, his tired eyes conveying a gentler aura than he let off. She giggled, pulling her hat back up to its natural position as Chris spoke again. "It's for you though, not me. Eat up." Chris wasn't too heavily set with his meager funds, but he at least wanted to give her a small present. "Don't you ever get hungry? Do you eat air, Daddy?" Chris rubbed the back of his head, a sheepish grin stretching across his face. "Something like that. It's part of a brand new diet." Yeah, get-dead-quick. It was some diet plan he was on.

Smiling as she was reassured by Yukiko, Katrina returned to her pastry. Taking a bite, she savored the flavor as she tried to focus on resetting the barriers around her mind. She managed to ignore the fox, not wanting to stress too much as she put up one wall, then two, and so on until the only thoughts she could hear were her own. It felt good, and she released a quiet sigh as she felt only the solidarity of her own mind. "I think it'll all work out." she said after a few minutes, an air of lightness returning to her mood. "At least we have the town ball to look forward to."
