Claudia Vesslia Claudia felt a little more assured of his methods and understood exactly who he was. If she was to take the jewel for herself, she should deserve to live in exile and lose all of her companions. The blonde would be betraying the powers she was given, the very being she stands for and eventually spiral down Darris' path. She knew he didn't want to see that happen to her and wanted them to spread the dictator's blood on the ground, but then who would reign afterwards? I guess they'll have to find out when that time does come around. "I'm glad we met. Your offers are so intriguing. Darris needs to go down and I'll do it by my own hands if that's what it takes." She looked down at her hands and squeezed them into fist become more confident in herself and ignoring the jewel's becoming. "I'm sorry my prince, but I need to get back to my friends. I won't lie. I'm helpless without them especially Nyru." The girl smirked and began walking out of the hall instead of abusing the symbol on her wrist.

The Prince of Crows
"Of coarse i mean that trinket" the prince replied to her, his arm loosely falling from being crossed and gesturing at it, then he re-folded his arms again. "I know nothing, Adi" he then answered her, giving an intrigued look himself "However, i cannot help you, you must find out what it is yourself. Don't you think so? You, of all people, should have the courage and the power to find out. But-" he then went on, moving backwards into the shadows and silently vanishing. For a moment it seemed he was gone, and gone for good. Then the Prince of Crows stepped back into some light beside her, there was barely a gap beneath them. Nodding towards her hand however he did finally say " I would like to see you get this finished, wouldn't you?" the palm of her hand then began to feel hotter, and suddenly a burning sensation took over her skin as the prince's mark was burned, like a charred black tattoo, onto her skin. Her's was different to Nyru's and Claudia's, to which no one else had seen yet. "Consider... a gift" he said, taking a step back and saying "My unique ability... to you" he went on, his voice sounding bored but he was a teacher giving it's student something they obviously needed. He always sounded all-knowing, it was something that was worrying for most. Godlike for others. "To seek the truth is to find lies, but to find lies is to divulge the truth. Use my mark, Rur'Adika, and show my betrayers the truth of their unlawful behaviour" he finally finished, vanishing, and with him gone, the air suddenly becoming warmer, like it's meant to be in The Wilds.
"Then plunge your arrows into his skull, isn't that what you want?" he asked, as she went on to say she had to get back. As she turned and began to walk away, the Prince exhaled cheaply as he said " Choose your decisions well, Claudia, should the dead come making a mockery of you later" and that was all he said before he left, and vanished once more.
Outside, Nyru was still at a verbal war with the Prince of Crows "Well let us get on with it, i'm sure we can get the job done efficiently enough" "Very well." the prince said "Remember, Nyru. Vengeance isn't all that matters" and with that he was gone. Nyru was left shaking his head in brute anger and confusion. Vengeance? He knew it wasn't just about that, all that mattered was getting things back to the way they used to be, and some sacrifice... if needed... will have to do.
Nyru made his way back towards the mass of people, he stood on the outskirts where he coincidentally happened to look up and see Claudia in the near distance at the entrance to the hall, and over the other way he could see Adi by the stable.

Like a gift from the heavens it was easy to tell. It was love from above that could save me from hell. She had fire in her soul, it was easy to see, how the devil himself could be pulled out of me. There were drums in the air as she started to dance, Every soul in the room keeping time with their hands. And we danced on into the night! ━━☽Ɍυɼ'Дɖɩқą Дɖɖąɧąɼɼą☾━━
So she had been right in the Inkwell, this was what he had been talking about. And this trinket that was no mere trinket or simple magicked object to be of use, no it had a much deeper significance. One that Adi was no made aware of growing up as a child. To the gypsy's disappointment however, the Prince of Crows knew nothing...or wasn't going to tell her anything at least, as was clear by his words.
He was right though...she would find out eventually, she was too determined to let it be after all.
When he vanished though, she thought that would be the end of it, letting the light die in her hand. Adi's hand never dropped though before the Prince was there ego, right next to her that she could feel the brush of his cloth and leather close against her exposed shoulder and layered skirt. Shocked so by his sudden appearance so close to her, Adi forgot to gasp bu rather just stared up at him in such surprise.
Then came the burning pain, it was only then she remembered how to gasp as the pain came. Jumping back as if burned from a fire, Adi dropped the bauble in her hand cringing as her other arm clenched the opposite limb. The burning starting in her hand, as if fire was beneath her her skin or in her veins. Starting out on the back of her hand and gradually as time passed by the pain and burning sensation started up her arm. Minutes seemed to tick by as Adi panted and gasped in pain, forgetting out to scream in the process. Traveling to the curve of her shoulder it finally seemed to settle around the back of her shoulder blade.
Collapsing to her knees, Adi still cringed, fighting the tears she knew she had no hope of overcoming. Clutching her shoulder now as the burning sensation of something similar to a brand settled down to a dull throbbing ache. Left breathless and panting, finally Adi's eyes opened, but it her honey brown eyes were glower like earlier that day. As if in the depth of her eyes the golden dusty particles of light swirled in her eyes.
"Conniving snake...what have you done," snapped a voice that was Adi's yet not, but with an overtone of a deeper males voice coming from her lips.
The Prince of was from all appearances, but Adi had heard his words over her period of pain as he laid his mark upon her. As well as the creature lurking within in her heard as well and was thoroughly pissed with his actions. There was however, nothing to do at this time, so the creature withdrew to once it came.
"...what in Magic Earth was that!?" she snapped aloud still clutching her shoulder as it was still sensitive and stung against the light touch of clothing alone; leaving Adi believing it was on her shoulder but covered. "Now isn't the time for me to look at this...have a party to finish up."
With that, Adi heading from the barn and put on a fake smile and demeanor and joined the party. So focused she didn't catch Nyru coming back to the party either or if he had even caught the sudden change from barn to party. The gypsy was too focused on the people and trying to see if it was time for her song for the children yet.

Claudia Vesslia Is that what she wanted or was she just following orders blindly. She had the audacity to make her own decision, but whether she would kill Darris or not has yet to remain unseen. The most eligible person to have the pleasure of the blood task would most likely would be Adi because her light could probably purify or wipe of the darkest entity. Nyru isn't out of the count either because at times his angry gets the best of him and how knows what he is capable of. He practically torn the spider queen to pieces in one impulsive attack. Claudia witnessed a little of what Isabelle strength, but not enough for her to become a competitor. The woman entered the party as if she had never left spotting her partner in the same corner he managed to stay in. Adi was also ready to perform once more to keep the celebration alive.
The archer slipped through the audience until she made it to Nyru's side where she belonged for now. She had no idea that the prince confronted him or Adi and she had no intention of revealing her mishap. "Hey. How are you enjoying this affair from over here? You should have fun. I could get you a drink or something?" She placed her hands behind her back in a composed manner.

All of a sudden he was jerked from his thoughts as Claudia arrived at his side. "I'm okay" he said, reassuring her with a warm smile "I much rather be watching that amongst all the commotion". He didn't feel quite up for a drink however, after that almost irritating conversation with the prince, he didn't quite feel up to it. "Don't worry about it, are you having fun?" he asked.
Meanwhile, a few of the children were happy to see Adi coming into the dim firelight again, one or two pointing in her direction and tugging on their parents clothes. Some were still up and dancing, running about and having fun, but the younger children were beginning to lean against the sides of their older siblings or parents, the toll of the night certainly taking hold.

After the incident with the Prince, the conversation and the curiosity of just what he had done to her that burned her so badly eating at her....she wasn't really up for performing. Seeing the eager faces, the cheering and the happiness of the children, there was no chance of her denying them. Smiling and forcing through the pain that still was present and putting a smile on, she stood once more on the makeshift stage before them. "Thank you very much for your gracious applauds. Like I promised though," she said speaking to the crowd in a clear but crisp voice that brought hushed quiet to the people. "I have a song for the children...a lullaby my mother sang to me; from a parent to that of their beloved child...."Smiling and honey brown eyes sparkling with happiness, Adi gestured to her things with a hand, and just like that music began to play. A clear sound of a harp playing was quickly followed by the gypsy's clear, softy yet strong voice. Your baby blues, so full of wonder.Your curly cues, your contagious smile And as I watch, you start to grow up. All I can do is hold you tight
Knowing clouds will rage, and storms will race in but you will be safe in my arms. Rains will pour down, waves will crash all around But you will be safe in my arms. Adi sang with power, but also with the power of compassion and love. She sang from the heart, it could be seen on her face as she let every breath leave her lungs and leading to the poetic words that left her lips. Arms moving and holding herself as sang the word of being safe in ones arms. Her magic bring in fog along the ground to be something like clouds that she sang about. Story books full of fairy tales. Of kings and queens and the bluest skies My heart is torn just in knowing. You'll someday see the truth from liesAs the woman continued to sing, she gradually stepped forward to join the crowd, however walking around the bonfire as the crowd made way for her. Adi smiled while she sung the words to the children, the gentle touches to some of their heads, and cheeks; pats for the older boys tho still young to enjoy such simple thing as music and dreams. It wasn't surprising to see some of those heavy eyes become heavier, and the ones once lively beginning to become weary. Castles they might crumble. Dreams may not come true But you are never all alone, because I will always, always love you Hey I, Hey I
When the clouds will rage. And storms will race in but you will be safe in my arms Rains will pour down, waves will crash all around But you will be safe in my arms, in my armsThe gypsy walked about the fire singing her song of love and care for a child, a parent never wanting to truly see them grow up to see the cruel world they lived in sometimes. Returning to the stage, Adi's arms swept out around her as she sang the last bridge and chorus to the song. Though when it came to the last chorus itself, Adi's magic begin to come into play, the fog that she allowed to come rolling in across the crowds feet, she raised up to the ceiling as if the clouds were inside. Raising her arms up as if to reach for those very clouds she raised above her own head, with a simple gesture they burst open and apart showing sparkling of golden stars where the clouds once were. Those very sparkles beginning to rain down as before as Rur'Adika drew out the sing and last note. The harps playing coming to an slow quiet end leaving the gypsy standing there on the stage with a content smile on her face. Claudia Vesslia Nyru rather read a book about deserted islands and swashbuckling adventures then achieve them. He had his own sense of excitement through visuals and vivid images deep within the back of his subconscious. Claudia was hoping to loosen him up a bit, but he sounded content so she might as well leave him be. The shadowmancer questioned about her own endorsement and the blonde smirked as she leaned against the wall. "Its a start. Hey, what do you think will happened after this? We found the black jewel as commanded and Charles seemed set on reclaiming his land. We can help him out, right?" She wanted him opinion on what path they should proceed in. Meanwhile in the background, Adi danced, orchestrated, sang, and displayed light magic for the children's delight.
The kids kept their mouths open through the whole performance as if they were begging for food. Parents admired their offspring's momentum and probably wished for more nights like this. The Prince hadn't ruined her night, in fact she wouldn't mind conversing with him for many times to come. He wouldn't are miss the beheaded of the ignorant dictator, now would he?

From shadows We'll descend upon the world Take back what you stole From shadowsNyru Statem
Adi had gone back to her place amongst the fans on the temporary stage, Nyru couldn't help and stare to wait for what would happen next. The night, for him, was slow, he wasn't so much a social person, but at least everyone here was enjoying it, even the children. At least this time it was a lullaby, soon enough the children will be sleeping and the party will become the tired after-party, quiet talking, drinking the left-over and what else.
Claudia leaned against the wall with him, it was like old times again, before... Zoltan. "After this?" he repeated, cheaply sighing. He lifted his head and could feel the drag of the night taking a toll on him, he then said "i guess, but i don't see why Charles'll need help.". Nyru knew about the history of that place pretty well, it was one of his interests. Turning to face Claudia he said "Southmarch was just abandoned and then locked up, shouldn't be anything too difficult to get rid of...". That was all true, each giant gate that was marked with a wolf's head was locked up ten-fold. In the background he could still hear Adi singing beautifully, he had to admit it was almost sending him off to sleep. Then Charles appeared with a tankard of ale in his hand, and rather spontaneously saying "So sorry for intruding" with a friendly smile "But i thought it might just be helpful of me to tell you. We never locked up our own city, we left in far too much of a hurry. Though I'm sure it was probably locked up for safety reasons or something" he then proceeded to chuckle to himself, like it was the alcohol talking.
Then Adi begged everybody a good night, and by now the children were more than sleepy, and the adults all gave a quiet clap. And Nyru watched Charles blend in with the crowd to go and thank Adi for the wonderful performance. "Well" Nyru then added. "We might have to tag along with him after all"

The gentle cheers and applause was charming an appreciated. Adi smiled through the subtle but steady burn of whatever the Prince had done on her shoulder. Stepping down from the stage, she was met by many happy people thanking her and the like. Charles she saw was making his way through the crowd to her.
At his words of thanks she smiled and nodded. "Of course, it was my pleasure and honor Charles," she said happily, and it was very true. Few Adi knew of her Gyrpsy kind could saw they performed for a colon of Therians....a race thought dead and myth.
Some drunkard male villager came up to her wrapping an arm around her shoulder with a good hardly shake while offering her his ale. "Join us for the after party love, you won't regret it," he said grinning and words ever so slightly slurred.
Hiding her grimace the best she could with a smile, Adi shook her head. "I'm afraid have to bid you goodnight regardless, the journey has taken a lot out of me and with my performance I need some rest."
With that she maneuvered out of the burly wolf's hold and made her way slowly through the crowd towards the end of the hall and out into the night. Waving and bidding Nyru and Claudia as she past a good night as well. It wasn't far to where they were staying and still close to the stables and party hall, but far enough that the party was just a distance white noise. So tired, Adi almost didn't remove her dress before flopping onto the bed, however did so just as a means to better see what had been done her shoulder.
Sure enough there laying on her sun-kissed skin, angry red and puffy as if almost branded into her was a black mark; the Prince's mark. Scowling, at it, Adi huffed irritated with the man thinking himself a god practically, and his plans for her.
"Save those thoughts for another day...I'm too tired to be irritated by that creature of a man..." she breathed out. Now dress only in the creamy white blouse and skirt that served as her under-dress, she threw herself into the bed provided.
It wasn't long before Adi dozed off, however, it was fitful and it wouldn't last for long...the young gypsy would not be getting much rest tonight.

Claudia Vesslia Nyru sounded like he didn't want to go on and maybe the celebrations comfort had to do with this. Southmarch is abandoned and locked as he stated and that's what they were told many years before this venue even came to be. The strain of the party forced her to conceal a yawn by smacking her lips together making her cheeks protrude out like a frog. She turned away embarrassed of her facial expression as the gypsy exited the stage and was immediately surrounded by envious drunken men. The shadowmancer pushed off the wall ready to interrupt, but the light wielding female was more than capable of handling herself. Claudia knew she could divert the beggars on her own, however, she had this incredible to protect someone. She bid them a goodnight as she strolled over to the stables to visit her horse and rest. Her mind drifted away from Adi and to Team Elixier. Actually, she longed to see Ruby and the others again because the little sibling can stay out of trouble. She's accident prone that way.
As the excite extinguished and the company left, Charles found it fitting to pop into their conversation and ruin their sense of security. How convenient? It's shocking to believe that this intelligent race didn't bother to take a minute to seal their territory. They had to escape to the expense of their land, but now hers and Nyru's future tasks are even more complex. They can't waltz right up to the gates like they originally planned. Sighing once the mustached lightweight disappeared, she turned to Nyru shaking her head tiredly. "Now we're in a jam. Anyway, I'm going to go take another walk around the perimeter before I turn in for the night. Care to join me?" She ask as tediously walked to the entrance door.

From shadows We'll descend upon the world Take back what you stole From shadowsNyru Statem
(sorry for not replying! Completely lost track of where i've been posting from updating the guild))
Nyru waved his hand in a short gesture to say goodnight to Adi as she passed into the building. Soon after Nyru was still thinking about the future and what it would entail, so far... he and Claudia, perhaps even Adi now, had their heads wanted by Darris.(Was that his name? I've forgotten....). When Claudia stirred and asked if he'd like to walk with her, he had to admit he was too tired and reluctantly said "No, sorry" wiping his face with his bare hand "I'm going to head in for the night as well... the party seems pretty dead now and i haven't slept too well for days". With that he gave a short smile ad made his own way into the building.
((Hope you guys don't mind a time skip))
______________________________________________________
The morning was different to any other Nyru had experience the last week or so. It was cool but it was bright and orange with the morning sun. Birds tweeting in the near distance on the tips of trees of the forest made him feel calmer than he has done in quite a while. When he made his way down the rickety wooden spiral staircase, barely wide enough for one person, he found himself where the party was last night. At first what he saw made him wonder if he had over slept, the area had been transformed. Instead of alcohol barrels left side-ways on the floor, ruined rugs and old ribbons left hanging from trees, he saw shooting targets and stands of armour waiting to be picked up by soldiers.
Woh was all he could thinking when he stared at the large targets neatly lined up against the forest-line nearby the edge of the area. Soldiers in plated armour walked past with great swords and long, tall shields marked with a wolf's head on them, a side-ways profile of one baring its large fangs. Between the plates of armour he could see layers of dark blue material, their capes were similar or black. It was one thing that reminded him of home, the City of Crows, but there was one major difference between his city and Southmarch. The City of Crows is largely medieval, with purple essence lingering in most corners, harvested from the Inkwells to supply the city with energy and dark, magical defences. But Southmarch was more unique, it was towering, it was Gothic, and an organised city. It was the pride of all until the vampires came, now extinct.
Then Nyru felt something touch his shoulder, it was a weight baring down upon his armour-clad back as he quickly turned around in shock to find Isabelle. "Bl**dy hell, Izzy. Where've you been? I don't remember seeing you much last night?" Nyru asked, crossing his arms as he stared at her joyful grin. "Why are you smiling like that?" he asked her, he thought she had either had the time of her life last night with... Charles, or she found a new pair of heels to wear. She shook her head and said "Nyru, i've got great news. Mum and dad pulled through! The Occult are going to help us and they've found evidence for Darris' guilt!" "What? What evidence?" "I don't know, but the Occult are sending a group of Casters here to help us take back the city. The Occult even managed to get the Guildeam worried, since he poses a threat to the peace in Occulas! " "So, you mean... we're not convicted murderers anymore?" "No! The Guildeam have given the Occult permission to act on their behalf, they'll be here soon, that's why there's so much preparations going on"

The long day of travels leading into a long night of festivities, led into a long night of tossing and turning, and jumbled thoughts and images. Adi was restless in her sleep, tangling her legs in the sheets and her skirt; feeling feverish and cold all at once tossing them about. Adi in her dreams however, were very different from those prier.
She was in the dark, but then there would be flashed of the golden white partial like light she was becoming used to. Seeing flashes of a man's handsome face, a strange that she had never seen before, because he was a face a woman never forgot. Then there were more flashes of the Prince of Crows face...his words murmured to her in a haunting intoxicating whisper. All the while another voice rang out to her overlaying that of the Prince or overpowering his voice at times. Adi couldn't say she understood them, however their intent was to sooth her, and that they did...for the most part.
'Who are you...' she cried out to the light as she was flown to and fro between the light and dark, as if she was on the sea once more in the thralls of a storm.
Blackness settled and the light overpowered as the voice and face seemed to manifest out of the light itself before her. "My name is Zuriel....I am an Angel...a Divine you sometimes call us, and I have become a part of your soul Rur'Adika Addaharra. But you must wake up, evil watches you while you sleep child."
Starting from her sleep, Adi's eyes shot open; fully aware and searching. Faster then she thought she could have managed, and in a flurry of her dark hair, she was sitting up her bed. Her eyes searching, and though she found nothing, Adi's honey brown eyes wide with fright and questions settled on a certain spot, but she couldn't be sure as to why. Held there seemingly by an invisible force, it was suddenly broken and she jerked back as if struck, one word coming from her lips.
"...Zoltan..." she breathed out. "...but how...it can't be..."
"Seems so child...someone or something has drawn his soul together through time and space; no meager feat. While we fight here, he is plotting..."
Adi shook her head, holding it between her hands while covering her ears as if to draw the voice out; the voice had such clarity it was frightening as if it was right there beside versus inside her skull. "No...it can't be; we can't be certain of that...it was just a nightmare, it made me believe I felt him..."
"But - " came the male's voice again in protest.
Adi narrowed her eyes standing firm. "No...I can't be certain of anything yet and besides if it were true, we can't do anything about it; not right now. What I want to know...is how you are a part of me. An Angel...a Divine soul attached to my own...Zuriel, how did this happen and what is going to happen to me?"
There was a sigh, a wisp of air could almost be felt on her face. "That shall be a long story dear Adi."
Standing firm she nodded. "I have nothing better to do, as sleep is clearly beyond my grasp at this point; a long night is good for a long story."
So she settled int for a long tale of just how she managed to get an Angel's soul inside her body. It all starting with her large and flashy episode in the City of Crows...the bond growing only stronger each and every moment she used the light and they spoke. Zuriel's power attaching to her own that she could use it at a whim, though untrained a force to be reckoned with, he promised to train her.
Long into the night and into the pre-dawn hours, he spoke about who he was, and that his elder brother Uriel was an angel most recognized for his feats, he was ignored, and how his ambitions and choices, though nothing sinister led his soul being trapped within the orb she had been added down to her. When it came to more recent events and the Prince of Crows in particular, Zuriel frowned, or Adi could feel him frown and the ire he felt.
The Prince had marked her as one of his own, his powers soaking into her. Where Zuriel's were light, the Prince's were dark, and thus causing the amount of pain and only more pain to come as she fought to find a balance that would neither kill her or enslave her. By the time it was all said and done, it was dawn and people were already busy with starting their day.
Sighing exhausted, but fully awake and her head pounding with all the information she had been given she finally left her room and traveled outside. The area that the party had once been had undergone a transformation most strange. And that what where she found Nyru and Isabelle deep in an animated conversation by their expressions.
"Good morning..." she greeted, doing her best to hide her exhaustion and distracted mind with so many questions.
One in particular was, if she should tell her new friends just what lay inside her, and that she may not be as pure as she initially started out.

Claudia Vesslia Claudia arose early even though she have consumed a decent amount of alcohol last night. The drink created an annoying barely noticeable hangover, however, she managed to get dressed and taste the morning. The orange purple skies hung above her as she made her way to the hall that she assumed was going to remain a disaster. Apparently, when she entered, the room was bombarded with armor, shields, clothing, and arsenal of all sorts. Surely some of the weaponry had to be donated by a neighboring land because their was no way these people could craft all these pieces themselves. Is this terrain so abundant with materials that producing defenses is a walk in the park? Werewolves must be gifted with the power to detect fruitful soil and survive on it for as long as it provides. No wonder their race is still living, and now she wished she could become one of them to endure hardships. It's like a vampire thing, right? Again, that pesky price to pay diverts her from the though.
The armor glistened under the flickering lanterns there were recently lit because day had not fully come. Fractions of soldiers scrambled in out of the hall or barracks in this case, grabbing whatever weapon or armor that appeals to them. The blonde glanced around the room until her eyes fell upon an ordinary bow and a dull leather brown quiver holding arrows. Without hesitation, she choose the equipment that called out to her and mounted it on her back. She didn't feel naked anymore, although the bow that was stolen from her was upgraded and more heavy duty. This set is rather quaint, but as long as it delivers the same results she's not complaining. The male that had taken a fancy to her came in accompanied by other men and asked if she would ride with them. They wanted to practice formations they had constructed and needed another member to accomplish it. The shadowmancer was honored to contribute, she saddled a horse and trotted away into the lush forest.
The quadruped's hooves pounded against the earth and ascending the female off her seat which each movement. "Not much of a rider, are you?" One of the burly soldiers teased and Claudia had to admit this was true. She hadn't been horseback riding for a while, years in fact, but she was determined to show them men her valor. Snapping the reigns, the beast trudged forward and she shouted, "There are 15 of us! So who goes where if an enemy was ready to ransack the village!?" The leader in charge, a man with large scar trailing from his neck to his shoulder on his left side, signaled directions with his hands. Of course, she was now confused as the young suitor she danced with rushed to her side. "He's a mute. However, he's had more battle experience than any of us and all the troops here would put their lives in his hands. He says that we split into three groups of five. Two units circle east and west towards the village, while we the middle sector, make a beeline for it. Let the two other groups strike first and if their force fail them we are the surprise reinforcements. This is all theoretically speaking of course."
The archer nodded as the wind moved through her yellow locks making the man blush. She laughed as the group disperse and carried out their fake mission acting like it was the real deal. They startled half of the town performing the pretend battle sequence and when they were done, Claudia greeted Nyru, Adi, and Isabelle whom had just woken up. Her partner looked distant at least from what she could gather. She instructed the beast to a halt and breathed deeply before carrying out a conversation. "So are you guys up for today?" She tried so hard not to sound like an excited teen.

From shadows We'll descend upon the world Take back what you stole From shadowsNyru Statem
Soon enough, through their conversation Nyru and Isabelle found themselves joined by the others. Turns out Claudia had been awake and already been getting into the team spirit, Adi only just leaving her room as he had just done. Nyru was still filled with joy, he couldn't believe their luck! And when Adi bided them good morning, she had that usual charm on her face. Nyru turned round to face her and exclaimed "Adi!", he sounded like he was going to lead on to something else before Claudia arrived. Her then faced her in the same manner and said "Claudia, I- Gu- " he shook her head and then said "You must know already? Mum and dad! They did it! We're off the hook!" he clenched his fists as if in victory, feeling adrenaline rushing through his body like a new hope had raised over the dark horizon. He barely even took notice of Claudia's slight excitement for the day ahead.
Then all of a sudden there was a clearing made from the soldiers surrounding them, shifts of metal arms and legs, horses giving a short grunt as they're riders force them out of the way. Isabelle prodded Nyru and gave a quick narrowed brow as she told him to look too, she then crossed her arms and recognised the familiar transportation of the Occult - portals. Not many in Magic Earth could actually harness portals, opening them was hard enough, but sustaining them was a chore that only the most elite magi could perform. But the Occult were something different, they were in their own words 'the closest to the Eternal'. Isabelle felt somewhat proud watching the air begin to twist and swirl, she felt as though she should stand up and royally announce her people. Of coarse, her brother was a Caster, as was Claudia, but neither of them decided to continue and used their status as an attribute within the Royal Guard, so no one except for her new what to expect.
When the air began to swirl into a disc standing like a portrait, it dragged with small flaked of charred debris. Nyru tried not to look offended by the sudden smell of burning. The portal it self was hard to focus your eyes on under all the glamour the Occult used to usually hide it. It yawned like a creature of a deep cave and gave Nyru a shiver that ran down his spine. When something or someone finally came through the portal, it was as if their shredded atoms were suddenly forced together in an aggressive synthesis, making the air around them groan with the birth of life. The first figure to appear had a masculine structure, Nyru could tell he was physically fit but his build wasn't anything akin to stocky. He wore a jet black cloth tunic, a black hood and thick steel-tipped boots, leather belts across his waist and up to his shoulder held countless daggers, a sword, and even a large two-handed sword on his back. Another man followed wearing similar clothing but this time without a hood a dark brown medium length hair - he looked only a few years old than Nyru. then came another woman, she had a flail by her side alongside a crossbow attached to her back, her chosen attire seemed to be a black dress that had been tailored to be more battle-ready. After several more Caster's pulled through the swirling portal, each with their own glorifying groan, they stepped aside. Two more people then came through at the same time, one was another man, he was very tall, at least 6 foot, with a stocky build, a black beard and black brushed back rough hair and some greying strands. Nyru noted the familiar scar running down his left arm, and the tattoo of a sword behind a black crescent moon on his other bicep. On his back was a large bardiche as well as two orindary swords hanging by his sides. Beside him was a lady, shorter than him with a similarly middle-aged look. Her hair was a very dark shade of brown and was tightly brushed back into a ball behind her ears, she were knee-high boots that snuggly fit around her black leather jeans, she wore a similar jacket and was adorned by a ruby necklace and matching earrings, even had the blood red lipstick to match. She had two katars by her sides. Isabelle cocked an eye brow and said outloud "I didn't realise mum and dad were personally going to help us"
Above the darkness and the shame Above the torture and the pain Above the ridicule and hate Above the binding of our fate When it started All we wanted was a chance to live our lives Now in darkness Taking everything we want and we will rise

The sudden cry of her name said in such a way brought her to a dead stop where the gypsy stood. The level of animation that Nyru said her name with, the expression on his face, thought appearing excited, she wasn't really sure what wholly what it meant. Her heart pounded in her chest and ears in worry; did they know, did they see the difference in her? Or perhaps they had gotten more news about their situations and it wasn't good? When had it been taken a turn for the better since the flight from the city...when they discovered the Jewel was here, and Adi wasn't so sure that was a good thing if she was honest with herself.
Adi's quick reply however, was simple. "What?!"
The rousing gypsy was just about to get her answer when Claudia showed up. The flowing bit of animated conversation was difficult to follow, all parties assuming that they had the knowledge needed to follow Nyru's line of thought. However, Adi did not, she tilted her head with a raised brow.
"Mom and Dad?" she droned. "And by off the hook do you mean this mess we're in? I won't be loosing my head potentially..." she droned with a sense of worry but eager questioning. Adi preferred to keep her head after all.
Her line of questioning was further interrupted by something so strange and fascinating, that Adi nearly forgot her question. Rather she was simply distracted by what was happening. And something certainly was, but rather it was that sort of thing that you knew it was there out of the corner of your eye, but if you stared right at it, it disappeared. It hurt her eyes a bit and she chose to not look directly at the disc like thing appearing. The rest of them seemed to notice it as well and none to worried by all appearances.
Then a person appeared and Ru'Adika realized just what was happened and just who these people were. Dressed all in black armed to the teeth and ready for anything, the tales and stories told among her people were stories to strike fear in to those that thought of doing harm or dark things or achieve things by dark means. Very few gypsies had ever met an Occult member, a full fledged that is, and fewer seemed to come back to tell the tale. Adi was sure she was one of few to be facing these individuals on a common cause of good.
One after another they came dressed in black in different ways with different weapons of the person's choice with them. Adi stared and admired, seeing handsome faces and beautiful woman in a rage of ages. Other more war ragged then others, the last two had age and and air of experience. Course Nyru's comment about 'mom and dad' had Adi turning on him.
"That's your parents?!" Adi exclaimed as she turned to her friends and companions in this adventure. "You never said anything about them being in the Occult...you never mentioned the Occult was coming even!"
Adi was not just simply surprised which was a greater portion of it. But something else was causing her to be so surprised. That something going by the name of Zuriel, stating warnings and words of caution to her mentally, that if their bond and her use of his powers was made known, things could become sticky. The fact that Adi was marked with dark magic now as well going unmentioned, as it didn't have to be said for it to be a concern.
