Maji smiled, a mix of a real smile and a cocky smirk. "No problem." She streched slightly. "Tell me, did you volunteer for this, or were you forced into it...?" It finally got to the interesting part of the conversation.
Laial grinned. "Good! Ahh..." he started. He finally relized that he was holding on with only his tentecles. And his shell was heavy. Very very heavy. Almost in slow motion, his tentecles began to peel away from the monkey bar. The instant he was in a freefall, he immedietly retreated into his shell, as if it was an absolute defense.

Emer sighed softly, rubbing her temples. "Diffently not forced..... but I have very speacific reasons for volunteering." She smiled softly shaking her head, "It's...... complcated."
Kale's eyes widening as he watched Laial start to fall rolling out of the way just in time as Laial landed in the sand next to him. "Hey, Hey! You okay?" Kale rose up onto his knees, placing a hand on the others shell and shaking him gentealy.

A slight chuckle escaped Maji's throat. "Isn't it always complicated with D-Corp?" It always seemed so, at least. "Lucky. I was forced...somewhat." She had a bad habit of not finishing what she started.
Laial slowly removed himself from his shell, grunting slightly as he pushed his shell onto solid ground. He looked up and grinned. "Yep! That's the good my shell is for!" While that last sentence wouldn't exactly make sense to adults, children could understand it fine!

Emer looked over her shoulder at the two kids in the sand and smiled before turning back. "I never thought of myself much the parent type, but now...... Given the same choice I think I would make the same descion. What about you? Is it so bad to be Laial's gaurdian?"
Kale grinned as he sat up on his knees clapping his hands. "YAY! Good shell! No owies for Laial! Whish I had shell, keep owies away." He looked around before pointing over to the merry-go-round. "Play there now?"

Maji paused, trying to think of an answer. "Well, I already had another anthro child under my care, so that's good and bad. I usually have Scheu watch them, or at least Nexen. Laial's allowed to do his own thing a lot." Okay, maybe this didn't exactly answer the question, but Maji figured it was close enough.
Laial nodded once and stood up. "Race ya there!" he exclaimed before sprinting to the carisol. He doubted he would win, but it would be fun anyway.

Emer just kind staired at Maji for a minute, then shook her head clear. "Do you take care of all four of them?"
Kale squeeled with glea as he hopped up onto his feet. His long legs easily eating up the ground as he sprinted over to the merry-go-round. Catching up and inching ahead of Laial little by little. A couple of almost falls as Kale triped up a little on a slight bump in the grassy playground. Flopping face down onto the blue and green play equiptment.

Maji blinked for a second, confused. "Four? What..." Then it dawned on her. "Oh no, Nexen is the first anthro child, and Laial's the second. Scheu's an adult, and he's sort of like an assistant." Perhaps that was a better explination...at least she hoped it was.
Laial, hearing a 'thud', turned around to see Kale had fallen. Uh-oh... "Are you alright?" he asked, kneeling down by the boy's head.

Emer nodded as everything clicked to place in her head, and smiled. "Okay yeah, I think I have it now. So there is only really two that still need supervison, and one of them is older so he is a help?" She glanced to the side seing the gaint clock in the center of the park and her eyes widned. "Oh, I didn't relize how late it was getting.... we probley should be going. I hope the kids can get together later and play." She rose holding her hand out for a shake.
Kale looked up smiling, chuckling a little, "Yeah. Momma says I'm a k-klutz." He had a bit of trouble forming his mouth around the word.
