"I swear, man, this isn't what it looks like. Ceres got up here and just couldn't keep her hands off of me..." His hands were up in the air as he gave Ceres the room to finish playing field medic to the injury he'd given himself on the stairs. She had made relatively quick work of things as they had waited for Bix to join them, but it was obvious despite his jest that he'd taken a decent slice to the side.
They didn't seem to have a whole lot of time to finish tending to things, though, as Bix stepped up into the mirror room to claim a shard. He cursed before giving Ceres a gentle nudge. "We'd better grab what we came for and get out of here. Promise you can go back to playing doctor once we've gotten out of here." He flashed her a grin that said he appreciated all that she'd done so far, although it didn't quite reach his eyes. There was a seriousness in them that gave light to his concern at the shaking floor.
