i might be on the thread less, it seems dictated a bit and im not down for that. Before we could chat random, I'm sorry its hard to talk about GD all day but now there is no more of that. Surely some points it got rediculous but at the same time it was nice. Dunno, lets just say I think how it was done is crap, it seems the rules aren't to everyone's agreement. Its someone's thread not all of ours. So I'll probally frequent it less, not that anyone cares more then likely but yeah...
...basically this is one regular not happy with the way of the change. Maybe it makes me seem bitchy and its nothing against anyone.

I mean green day is a band about having fun, the whole change makes it less fun with all these "rules" so whats the guildlines of green day talk persay? I mean "the grouch has been stuck in my head all day" could go either way as talk of green day or random chat. Plus going about saying OH YOUR NOT FOLLOWING THE RULES!!!! is just as much spam as the ones not following the rules. Kind of redundant, for lack of a better word aswell as one of them walking contradictions
wink I liked talking with you kids, you're all pretty swell, dunno the new thread is nice but at the same time less fun. Surely the flaming was getting bad, but a new thread wont fix that and once you "ban" someone from the official thread where are they to talk of green day? Surely we can tell each other to chill out and just hope in all respect to keep the thread nice that will happen. Anyway yeah i got random thoughts a lot and just because i wasnt there for imput doesnt mean I wont put it in now. Sure its to late but better late then keeping shut.
Firstly i think they should only be guidelines not rules, i am agaisnt certain people dictating, no-one
owns the thread. There are a lote of rules that seem to be miss. Like no posting song lyrics unless requested, try to avoid long quotes where unescessary, i think there should also be a rule agaisnt the thread being as a 'shout-out', it should be kept for discussions, if you simply want to state that you like a band, there are other threads for that. If you dont want to join in a discussion then you shouldnt post.
I dont see why we cant chat about our lives etc., the whole reason most of us listen to green day is that we see references to our lives in the music.
its so true that a new thread aint gonna stop the ignorant noobs from annoying everyone, lets face it they are hardly renouned for reading the rules before posting but at least if we do have a set of guidelines then we do have a reference point and hopefully we can catch a few. I do think the flaming got out of hand at times, but there is a place for criticism.
