Akamai realized at some point that Pente had run off , and he realized the head-speaking girl was asking him if he was a friend now (he still wasn't sure what a camibal was anyway) and he looked up to see her waving at him. What should he do? Join them, or find Pente? He looked at Kanika, then off to the side where he heard the dog yapping, and noticed the hyper mini was heading that way. He decided to take his chances with Kanika and the rest and tentatively raised a paw to wave back at her.

 Pente wasn't sure if the others had seen where'd he'd gone. Debating his options of what to do next, he was startled when the little brown demon popped up in front of him. Now that Pente could see the little noise maker up close, he realized it wasn't a demon, but a puppy. Now he felt more foolish in running to hide. But the puppy didn't seem to care. He was cute and friendly with puppy kisses on his face.
Before Pente could react, another face appeared around the box. This one seemed a bit surprised to see Pente with the puppy. Peeking around the box, Pente could the others were making there way in his direction as well.
Nothing for it, but to face the music, he thought. Pente stood up and out of his hiding spot.

Kanika nodded at Akamai, deciding the canibal had been converted to their side, and motioned him to come along too. CatCat had zoomed off already so she bounded after her in the most recent direction she saw George run. As usual he was up to doggy no good, but chasing the dog was one of her favorite games!
Coming around the box, the pale demon child saw that she must have had it wrong, for, the canibals were not trapping or eating George... he was trying to eat them! He was wiggling and licking the rainbow demon she had threatened before.
Yay we found Georgefriend! She melted into a fit of giggles at the thought of George trying to nom canibal demons.
Geeooorge! Thats not a tastey snack! She smiled at Pente, George likes you! You must be ok!
George gave the boy demon another good lick and pranced to the middle of the forming group of demons as the kids seemed to gather around where they had been crouching. The game must be over! So now clearly they could help him explore the box he liked.
"Yap yap!" The brown dog yipped, looking at Kanika and then at the other children plaintively, before going back to snuffling around the bottom of the large box he was so obsessed over.

CatCat skidded to a halt when she saw the rainbow boy and Georgefriend with him. She listened to everything, and giggled happily. "Geeeeeeeeorge friend and other friends. Yellow Friend and Blue Friend and Colorful Friend! I CatCat, friends!"
When George yap'd, she gave in to a fit of giggles, her tail wriggling. That sound, it was silly and cute! She followed him over to the box, wanting to see what he'd do next. "What is, George? What isss!" She reached up with her tiny paws and attempted to open it!

Akamai decided he'd head over towards Kanika and her group when she bounded towards where the loud mini had gone. He sighed and followed, after all, it seemed Pente was found out too. As he followed along he noticed the dog going after a certain box, and the mini helping him out. He wondered what was in there that had "George" all riled up...

The box was large, and didnt seem to be easily opened from any of the sides...
George was finally getting some help and attention! He wiggled all the more and scraped his little claws at the edge of the large box in a digging motion, trying to help too. Seeing this was not working too well, he whined and tried to bite the corner with little success.
George...? Kanika tilted her head at all the commotion the dog was making over a box. It was dusty and big, it looked like any other box, though ... maybe it could be a fort or something...
The box gave a scuffling THUD from inside...?
"YAP! YAP!" George barked gleefully, now certain something amazing must be in this box.
Oh.. I think.. the box is full of alive!? her thought was jumbled in her confusion, but Kanika scurried over to help the others. How could they get it open? She tried to get on her hind legs and peek but it didn't work, she couldn't see in.

"Full of ali... OH." CatCat jumped at it, trying to get on top. Maybe there was a latch or something up there. "Top? Maybe? Some one can go!" She was clearly not able to jump up that high herself, at least!

Not knowing what to expect, Pente braced himself mentally for whatever they might verbally throw at him. He was relieved when giggles and declarations of 'friends' erupted around him. He was even more relieved when Georgefriend, as he determined the puppy's name to be, diverted their attention from him to the box he'd hidden behind.
A noise inside the box made Pente take a step away. Georgefriend didn't seem frightened of the box of at all. Pente didn't want the puppy to appear more brave than him, so he reached out and gave the box a push. It moved a little and there was more shuffling inside.

Everyone was going for the box. Once he arrived with Kanika and them he realized the same thing she did, that something alive was in there! Why in the world would there be something living stuck in a box up here in an abandoned part of the warehouse? That couldn't be very safe. He tried to help the best he could to get it open, clawing at the sides while trying to stay out of everyone else's way.

George barked again at the box, hearing more shuffling sounds within as the children tried to open it or push it. This was fun! He barked encouragement to the kids, darting in and around them to paw at the box and playfully half crouch and yip at it.
Kanika could see they were all trying, but not getting far, and when the largest kid gave it a healthy shove she thought maybe it would tip, but it didn't. Then she got a brilliant idea!
Adventurefriends, we need to work together! she pushed the thought through the excited giggling and clawing and barking, glad for once that she could think it to them and not try to to shout over the chaos. All on one side maybe...
Biggest friends stand and push, little friends push bottom! Still standing on hind legs she patted her paws against the side showing them what she meant pushing from the top on one side.
The box made a tapping sound back, and this time there was something like ...tiny mouse giggles?

Pente was just as curious as the others to see what was in the box. He caught the thoughts of the pale-colored girl and moved around to her side of the box. He reached up and hooked his claws into the box to get a secure grip. He pushed to tip it over while the others reached underneath to lift. This was turning out to be rather fun, he thought. He hoped his new found friend, Akamai, was having fun too.

Akamai found a good spot by Pente and gave him a small smile as he reared up to push the top of the box. He was curious by this point and well, this 'adventure' hadn't been as bad as he thought it might. The mystery was about to be solved!

 Wicasa's attempt to charge the box had done little more than shake the box, as well as the contents of his head. He fell back on his haunches, shaking his head and blinking until the room stopped spinning. Okay, new plan. Stand and push? Little ones push bottom? Made enough sense, he supposed. He'd leave the pushing for the two older boys, as Wicasa started working his claws under the bottom edge of the box. If he could just lift it a bit, then maybe wedge one of his horns underneath, he could flip the box over easy! At least, that's how he saw it in his head. The real execution was proving more difficult than that. Though, the efforts of the others were causing the box to shift and wiggle, the strange noises from inside increasing, as did the curiosity of the children outside. If they just worked together, they'd have this box over in no time!

CatCat pouted, just a little. After all, she'd had an idea, but no one seemed to listen. Maybe it wasn't a good idea, or maybe no one heard her. She sighed, then nodded at Kanika's idea, wishing she wasn't so small, so that she could help better.
In fact, she wondered if she'd be in the way, really, down at the bottom like that, but she would try. She moved her tiny self into position and attempted to pushlift.
