He who dares...Jason looked over at Sasha and gave a nod. "Yeah..." he replied. "And other stuff, but never mind that." He looked over at the girl who came out of the woods, listening to her comment. "Sounds like about the usual," he told her. He looked back at Sasha. "You ever look around you and wonder if anyone you know is a titan?" He asked him out of the blue.  WINS

Chen Ren-Yi Sasha nods his head to the young girl and then looks over at Jason. " It's a bit weird that you mention that. Why would a person be a titan?" he asks before patting the lad on the back. " I need to go get some paperwork done. It's been fun talking to you boy. See you two later," says Sasha as he walks off to his quarters. {exits}

_____Shakuntala's eyes drew up to the trees that seemed to loom high above and scrape the sky with their height. Even her home back in Shiganshina was not as tall. The fifteen year old's mouth fell ajar in awe, but she suddenly clamped it shut with hopes this section's instructor hadn't seen her gawking. Squeezing her right hand into a fist, she sought the individual out. She wished to take this exam as well, having just passed the balance portion before. It would be her first time working the actual gear and, especially, using the blades required to slay titans. The first and last time she worked a sharp utensil was when her father tried to get her to slay a pig. She wasn't too keen on using one again.

Hannah passes Sasha as she makes her way to the Forest of Giant Trees. Sasha makes sure he's out of her way for she is not happy one bit. Lieutenant Bakuro had taken off with her favorite jacket. Seeing Jason, Shakuntala, and Yui she approaches them. " You're here to take the test, aren't you?" she asks looking at Shakuntala. She then turns around and walks up to the storage shed and returns with the 3D Maneuver Gear equipment. Setting it before Shakuntala she cocks her head to look at Yui and Jason. " ONE OF YOU! SHOW HER HOW TO PUT THIS ON!!!" she demands angrily. Being mad she doesn't care whether or not the two were already soldiers. When Hannah's mad everyone is a maggot to her.

Alice Wiess Alice had wiped her tears dry to look somewhat presentable. She knew Hannah or one of the other instructors was around the camp grounds somewhere and she needed to discuss the content in the journal urgently. Luckily, she stumbled upon Hannah handing out 3D Maneuver Gear to trainees ready to take the Forest Titan Hunting Test. The blonde approached the woman dictator and stood back waiting patiently to be noticed. Her hand balled into a fist and was raised to her chest while the other arm was arched behind her back. Saluting was prior to make a decent impression on Hannah Stow. Hopefully, the woman would give her a chance to speak with her privately.

Hannah turns around to see Alice and cocks her head to the side as she places her right hand on her hip. " Can I help you?" she asks in an agitated tone. The blonde instructor wasn't exactly planning to see this soldier again today.

Alice Wiess The blonde classy female wasn't to trilled by Alice sudden appearance. "May I talk you in private, Drill Instructor?" It was a rather bold request, however, this matter needed to be discussed. Hannah wouldn't mind a casual conversation about experimental humans being turned into titans would she? The farm girl wasn't to keen on the far-fetched tale herself, but why wouldn't her sisters words be taken into consideration. If she thought Mikano's intentions weren't approving then either should she. After all, there was no doubt that the insane male took Mari's life without regret or a single consequence. She gestured for Stow to lead the way if she agreed to the arrangement.

_____Shakuntala quickly saluted just as the drill sargent addressed her. She nodded her head next to affirm that she was there to take the test, replying almost in a murmur, "Yes... ma'am...!"
_____The trainee watched with her form stiff as the woman retrieved one of the gears and returned with it, settling it in front of her as if it were an offering. Shakuntala's umbra eyes glided down to the machine and, when the woman had turned to converse with another, did she begin to bend at the waist with the intention of picking it up to examine it. Like a snare, her mind tugged her back before she had a chance to do so.
_____What if I break it... she thought to herself in dismay and quickly straightened her back and, instead, took a step away from it. U-Until I... Until the others... help...

Hannah gives an annoyed sigh and looks at Yui and Jason. " One of you maggots help this trainee!" she commands as she takes Alice by the arm and starts dragging her off once again like she had done before. The blonde drill instructor is just not having too much of a good day and to all those who realize that should do their best not to make it any worse. Hannah is like a ticking bomb ready to explode by anyone's touch. {exits}

He who dares...Jason watched Sasha leave silently. He was about to leave himself when Hannah came storming in, obviously mad about something. When she asked one of the two soldiers there to show the trainee how to put on the gear, Eric gave her a salute. "Yes ma'm!" He said before turning to face Shakuntala. "Here, this is how it goes," he told her as he began strapping her in, making sure to let her see every step. Once he finished he stepped backwards, giving her a thumbs-up. "There ya go!" He told her. "You look all dressed up and beautiful for the titans."WINS

_____The trainee watched the bluenette's hands as he carefully showed how every strap, gear, and gizmo was to be fitted on her being for the test and, eventually, future. When he had finished, Shakuntala couldn't help but mentally compare the procedure to putting a pamper on a infant. More complex, of course, but too much dirty work.
_____Shakuntala smiled sheepishly at his remark and scratched the back of her head. "Is that... even... even possible?" she asked with a slight chortle, but shook his head and aimed it for the canopies above.
_____Lacing her fingers through the grips of the blades, the trainee narrowed her eyes in determination, and reflexively balled her hands to fists. Unfortunately, for that single moment, she had forgotten her hands were upon the triggers to the 3DMG and, like the sharp soar of a hawk, one of the cables shot from the gear and stabbed high into one of the trees in the distance, pulling her along. Shakuntala's eyes widened as she tripped over her own two feet and was flung into the air and straight toward the first of the titan dummies. She felt as if her death was fast approaching, but she shook away her jumbled thoughts and concentrated only on gaining speed. As the structure was near enough, she readied her blades, and slashed, and slashed, and slashed.

Soul Bravery 0% She listened to what the instructor said, looking at her with an insane look in her eyes. Who did she think she was? Yelling at her like that. She isn't going to get any respect from the trainees...even if she's angry. She had better calm herself down before she blows up. At her last request, Yui took a step only to find the male next to her move faster and help the trainee. She watched and sighed when he was done,"Being pretty to kill Titans is one of the ways to get killed by one." she said, looking at him with her arms crossed. She looked up at the girl with a soft smile and patted her cheek,"You'll be fine... Just calm your mind and focus your energy to your natural balance. Don't struggle too much. Go as the wires move. Basically, go with the flow...and good luck." she said before going over to the side and lifted the lever over and over until she was a foot and a half off the ground, walking in front of her to watch what would happen. ☆═━┈┈━═☆ ╚══════════════════════════════════════════╝ The Scouting Legion is my home...

He who dares...Jason watched Shakuntala take off silently, folding his arms as he watched how she did. There were no trainers around at the moment so he was the next best thing. He whistled at her at her first strike which was almost literally perfect. Strikes four and five were great as well. Seven was definitely a killing blow. The rest varied from well done to barely done. When she landed he gave her a smile and a brief clap. "Man, the first strike. Don't ever do that well again or the rest of us will get fired and they'll make you kill them all," he joked. "That was pretty well for a first run. In fact, that was really good. I wasn't expecting that." He looked back at the trees where the wooden titans stood. "That 17th one wouldn't have even known he was hit though. But that's okay. Can't expect 20 kills in a row. If you pulled that off I'd ask you to teach me." He looked back at her. "So how'd it feel?" He asked. WINS

_____Shakuntala landed with a wobbly trot to the forest floor after slicing through the final titan dummy. The blades within her hands dropped to ground in a clatter as she huffed, perspiration streaming down her face and neck. She hugged onto the nearest tree for support as if it were her parent, refusing to let go until something uneasy began to swell in her lower abdomen. It was slight at first, but it suddenly burst through and shot up the length of her throat. The trainee immediately cupped a hand over her mouth and retreated into the forest, dragging the loose cables of the 3DMG behind her with her speed. From the darkness of the tall trees, hacks and coughs came from the fifteen year old as she lost her breakfast and lunch because her motion sickness. Eventually, she reemerged from the thickets, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand and keeping another on her churning stomach.
_____Despite the onset of a dizzy spell and her desire to lay down, she carefully walked her way back the same way she came, observing the slashes she made onto the figures. Most of her slices were satisfactory with only two akin to paper cuts. But she did hit ten passed the required mark. As she crossed the first seven, her eyes blinked at the deepness of the gashes.
_____"A few of them are shallow..." she replied to Jason. "But I... I did good. I think. Especially the first... I guess... I guess my determination got the better of me, aha." She allowed herself the liberty of an airy laugh at his joking around and when she asked how it felt, there a small sparkle in her eye. "Like... Like flying," she said dreamily. She had never felt so free in her life and, in actuality, she wanted to do it again. "But I passed... At least I passed..."

He who dares...Jason watched as Shakuntala disappeared into the trees momentarily. He had seen plenty of recruits do the same thing after their first try. They had all gotten over their motion sickness and nerves relatively quickly and he knew Shakuntala would too. When she came back from looking at her results he gave her a grin. "Yeah, well it pretty much is flying. It can be really fun once you get the hang of it....and you're not facing imminent death." He paused for a moment. "Ah, what's your name by the way?" He asked, realizing that in the moment of getting her ready for the test he hadn't thought to ask. "I'm Jason Evans. Just graduated and joined the Survey Corps."WINS
