She only merely looks up at him as her eyes was curious like. The sparkle in her eyes only grew from that moment. "...I don't think it will. You want it to be because you expect it to be." She shakes her head. "Then Stop being so angry with me.. I am not at fault for what happened with you. You are so intent on taking it out on me."
She stares at him as if he had grew another head. "Him?! Arky? Hell to the no! He is like a brother. I wouldn't touch him like that with a bale of hay." She bursts out in laughter. "He doesn't see me that way either. I think he got interest in another mare anyway." She tilts her head. "Just wanted to nuzzle you and thank you for the laughter.. I had fun with you. I want more." She smiled. "Seeing you smile is like seeing a shooting star in the sky. Beautiful." She burrs softly for him.

Theron glares at Selene more but the full force of the glare is diminished at the look of the sparkle in her eyes and he growls, grumbles and rumbles for few minutes without saying a word because he's pissed that she's being so stubborn about this. She just can't see that he's doing this for her so she will be able to live a long life instead of having it brutally cut short. "I am not taking it out on you, I am trying to get you to leave so you could live, mare." He says with a peeved expression in his eyes.
When Selene stared at him weirdly and laughed about the notion of her being with Arky, Theron mentally erases Arky's name from his 'to watch' list and he stares at the mare emotionlessly. "Well.. nuzzle received. And I guess you can stay with me for few days at my cave near the cove. But its your funeral. Don't let anyone tell you that I didn't warn you." He gives her a wary look and shakes his head. "Your call, I am going back there because I want to sleep."

Selene couldn't help but stare right back at him with the sparkle still in her eyes. "..." She watched his movements while listening to him. "Theron.. It'll be alright.. I promise." She gave him a smile before looking at the horizon once more, staring at the ocean. "... I know there will be good days and bad days but I'll be there for you.. just like jumping over the waves. The waves are a piece of a reminder of what I may need to do.. to face your troubles with you."
She then began to follow him and nods. "I know the risk, fire boy.. You can't get rid of me that easily, my fire heart." She burrs gently for him, flickering her tail very gently behind her. "Sleeeeeeeeppppp... " She says cheekily. "Perfect thing to do after the fun we had.." She glanced around in the area to see what could be found so she would know the way to get to the cove alone later on.

Theron shoots the stubborn mare a grumpy look as he could see that she is not going anywhere but on inside, he's softening up with every actions or words Selene aimed toward him. However, the stallion refuses to show that he's softening up because he is genuinely afraid that the curse will figure out that there is a mare in the vicinity of his heart. He shakes his head as he turns away from her, walking in the direction of the cove he have claimed as his own territory. Its not that big but its sufficient enough for him and his future family if he ever become fortunate enough to have a family of his own.
"Hrmph.... and what about your son, Selene? You can't just abandon him for few days and just expect things to be just fine." He says archly as he secretly smiles to himself a bit. "You know the risk.. and you are foolish enough to take it even if you have a son you need to live for." He shakes his head as he picks up his pace from leisurely walk to ground-eating trot. Theron is fully aware that Selene is taking in the hints and landmarks that will lead her back to the cove whenever she desire to be there. That stubborn female... he don't know what he is going to do with her.

Selene tilts her head towards him and grins at the grumpy look that he has on his face. She couldn't help but giggle. "You are so adorable with that grumpy look, Theron." She would trots up and lick him on the cheek once again. "Thank you for letting me see your home, fire boy. Home is where the heart is." She flicks her tail behind her gently. She perks up at the cove and goes awwww at it. "Oh, my! Look how cute!" She trots a bit faster to get inside and looks around inside it. She then looks towards him with the sparkles in her eyes once again. ".. It feels like I belong here.." She whispered then looks around, moving to sniff the various spots in the cove.
She tilts her head at him when he had asked about her son once again. "He is old enough to know that Mama is stubborn and will go off to explore for awhile. The night sky always called to me. He tries to understand but he is still young. He is my little protector.. Always worries about every little thing.. He is even protective of his big sister.. even though he is a little colt. I think he is considered the runt. But like I said.. Arky is keeping an eye on him. He is safe with him." She moves up to him til she was able to look into his eyes. "I know the risk.. I know what I am doing. I am not leaving. I think I have more than just my son to live for now... " She once again moved to get into a fast trot. "I have you as a friend to live for, my fire boy."

Theron shakes his head a bit when Selene looked at him and giggled despite the fact that he's looking at her with a grumpy expression, he stiffens up when Selene licked him on cheek. He squints his eyes little bit, not sure how to react to her actions and her comments when she spotted the cove with a comfortable looking cave that is hidden by draping vines and seaweeds. "You... feel like you belong here? So you will bring your son and live here with me if I ask you to?" He inquires in an odd voice as he is surprised that he's not resisting the idea but.. entertaining the idea.
He trots after the female, not sure what to say or do because he's trying to stop entertaining the idea of having this female and her son living with him. So he simply stays quiet as he reaches to the cave, pushing the drape of vines and seaweeds away from the opening. "After you.... just remember, you are only allowed to stay here for few days." he says in stilted voice, his body is tense and he doesn't trust himself to stay impersonal.

Selene tilts her head slightly towards him, watching his reactions to her own. She knew that he couldn't help but do those very reactions. It was time for hime to learn how to trust again and she knew it. She then nods at his words. "I do.. I do feel like I belong here with you, Theron.. " She perks up at the question about her and her son. "If you want me to bring him here, I will. But it is up to you." She soon walked into the cove once he opened the vines up a bit.
She stopped to look at him before smiling softly. "I know.. Just enough to make sure that you are okay." She would look around before finding a soft spot on the floor that seems to have old grass or something and lays down on it. "Come here, fire heart.. It bound to get cold tonight.." She flattened her ears. ".. I'll help you learn to trust again.. I'll help you learn how to open your heart again. I'll be patient. I promise." She whispered.

Theron sighs as he shakes his head when she entered the cave and when she settled down on old grass, he stares at her like she grew another head. "There is a huge bed of moss just right behind you. I would think it is more comfortable to lay on that instead." He grumpily says as he huffs while walking by her. "I am fine, how many times do I have to tell you that?" He slants his eyes toward her while indicating to the moss bed.
"Here.... You can lie down next to me. I am tired and I need to sleep." He mutters as he settles down on the moss bed, knowing that she will be more comfortable laying down instead of standing up like all horses normally does. He stretches his front legs out before tucking them partially under his body. "What are you waiting for? The offer to 'cuddle' with me is going to expire very soon." He glares at her half-halfheartedly and he yawns a bit, obviously is about to fall asleep anytime.

Selene looks towards the moss and shook her head. "I'll be fine.. You need it as well. You own this cove.. I don't. It is only fair that the owner has the most comfortable spot." She chuckles softly. "You think you are fine.. Your heart may not be. You never know."
She moves closer to him before nodding. "I am not the one that is keeping you awake.. You are keeping yourself awake by talking." She would then curl up and lays her head on his back, getting her body against his own. "... You are so warm.. so comfortable." She yawns softly and nuzzles him before closing her eyes. "Good night, my fire.. Sweet Dreams." She whispered.

Theron grunts as Selene continues to think that he is not fine and that he needs some help, he squints his eyes at her once more. "Only time will tell I guess." He mutters, watching the female move closer to him and his body goes rigid for few minutes when she settles down with her head on his back. "Hrmmph... I was raised to be a gentleman and be a good host.." He grumpily says as he subconsciously nuzzles Selene back without realizing it.
"Naturally I will be so warm and comfortable. I am a stallion after all." He grumbles as he lowers his head to the ground near Selene's body in a protective manner. His ears twitches at her last words while he closes his eyes with a sigh, feeling the familiar lurching of his heart, knowing that he can't develop any feelings for her. "Go to sleep, my little moon." He mutters before he allows himself to relax and enjoy the closure while the sun continues to climb high into the skies.
