 " They're right!" Fade shrieked, an unexpected outburst from the Rise & Shine crowd. " I've been too comfortable, too indulgent, too - too fat, I'm stopped fighting for the people. I'm..." she stepped out of what had been her family for the past few years, " I'm one of you. Oppressors. Fat cats. I'm soft." She rambled, clearly in revolutionary stride. " No longer! I work for the people! I'm leaving Rise and Co!" With a tail swish, Fade stamped her way across the barricade, paused on top and declared: " AND HE'S HOTTER!" before joining The Friends on the other side.

From the stunned hush that had fallen across the opposition’s generals, Terrible Charm knew that the doe’s defection was a deep blow, a glaring slash that The Friends might not yet fully understand, but could certainly use. He held the tally of all volunteered in his head, and knew they lagged that bit behind, but it was time to end the proceedings: nothing could be as significant a move this day as that which had just come to pass.
“Well said,” he pronounced, “even if not all see so well the truth. But we are Kin of our word, and today we shall retreat. Your fortress has been defended...but we shall return. We thank you all for your attention. You know where to find us - we will always welcome you.”
“As we welcome you, good lady,” he finished by bowing to Fade, eyes chastely upon the ground.
“Come, my Friends. We will leave.”

Fig, Pepper & Blueberry are coloured by Abbacus, Cookie & all pets are coloured by Patmos of Endtimes.
We hope you all had fun and Rise and Shine/The Friends will inevitably have more tribe shenanigans, whether apart or together haha, so keep a look-out! wink
We'll be quoting you in the respective tribe threads soon, so that you can fill in the forms and have your Kin be official members!
