As the morning sun slowly raised higher into the sky, a young man made his way on too the school ground. His hair was a light lavender-gray color and had on red frame glasses. He wore the uniform of House Deghinsea; a black vest, white dress shirt, a red tie, and black pain of pants. The only different was that he was a orange like hoodie over it, which made the outfit itself seem ridiculous. This however didn't bother the boy because he personally doesn't understand concept of looking ridiculous. This student was known as, Alaric Erzengel, a first year student who jumped into second year before he was accepted. Also this is first year within the Cram School, so he can be a Exorcist just like his father. He was so excited about coming here he didn't go too his dorm room to unpack stuff, so he carried around a duffle bag. Luckily most of his clothes were already sent a week prior, so it was already at his dorm. Within his duffle bag he just random stuff and some personal clothes he liked.

Alaric looked up at the school with so much joy, he couldn't believe he was in the outside world and at a school full of people his age. He spent so much time in his father castle he'd thought he would ever see the world beyond the walls. Alaric always thought him being a half demon was the reason he was locked within the castle, but since he was let free, he now assumes he was kept there because his father wanted to make him stronger. Although his first instinct wasn't too far on his father reason. Unbeknownst to him, he half demon DNA was directly from the King of Air, Anyanka. Alaric has no idea he has demon royalty within his blood, his father made sure of that.

"I can't believe it's actually happening," he thought to himself. His face brighten up as he thought about it more, "I thought this was dream. I can meet new people, experience new things, and above all else I can be an Exorcist like my father." All these things made Alaric uncontrollably happy, he couldn't stop smiling. After a few moments to relax he started to think a bit more clearly. "Okay I have to focus. I have to remember I am representing my father and everyone back home. I can't let them down. I can't myself get distracted," he said to himself. However, his determination didn't last long, when all the students started to show up for class and Alaric started to feel excited again.

From this moment one was a new chapter in Alaric's life. He knew he was going to see so many things and learn much more. So he made his way into the school to do some more exploring.

As the car began to pull up the driver began speaking to Ignazio about the demonic aura coming from the school and large burst and rapidly. ”I know, I sense it. Lloyd?” he stated before the car came to a stop in front of the academy. Ignazio unzipped the emerald backpack and slid the files into the bag before zipping back. He pulled the bag onto his lap and looked out the tinted windows at the new students still saying their goodbyes to their parents and then some returning students talking to their old friends, enjoying the spring breeze. Ignazio bit his lip before calming himself down to think of a plan. While his eyes were closed his mind wondered and his internal eyes focused on the demonic auras. Ignazio began counting rapidly as his aura moved throughout his range of sight. He slowly counted. ’The joys of being an Aria, I’m able to sense demonic auras from a distance, but not being able to cover the whole academy is a problem.’”I can’t reach the whole school, but I’ve counted over six thousand. Hobgoblins by the looks of it, the roof and the cafeteria have been infected it seems, but from this distance that’s as far as I can get before my vision gets foggy.” Ignazio calmly stated as he placed his left hand under his chin and started to think again. ”What the hell is that lazy a** of a headmaster doing now? He’s probably drinking again, or maybe worse, he’s drunk. But then again, why haven’t the teacher evacuated the school yet or sent out familiars. I didn’t sense any form of initial combat.”

After Ignazio finished his sentence the sound of the fire alarm began ringing throughout the school causing a swarm of students to run outside. Ignazio opened the door and grabbed a pair of black sunglasses from his pocket and placed them on his face before exiting the vehicle. ’That smell…is that…blood? No, it’s stronger…first year in Cram School, in Pharmaceutical class, we had to smell different triggers to demons. This is, stronger, the smell of the dead…that’s right, rotting flesh. That explains the hobgoblins.’ Ignazio covered his nose for a second trying to ignore the fowl scent. ”Alright, this looks like our chance. Let’s make our way to the cafeteria and deal with the Hobgoblins there. This would be easier if Miss. Black was here, but we can change our combat patterns for the two of us. Once we get to the cafeteria I’ll do another sweep through the school and try and find any other hordes.”

Turning his head he looked around and noticed the normal instructors coming out of the school with some students and began to gather everyone together. Ignazio leaned his head into the car and looked at the driver. ”Bruce, call my father for me and ask him to send a cover-up story to the media, I’m pretty sure this could get ugly quick, and send doctors. We don’t need all these students receiving spirit wounds and seeing what we see. It’s better to keep it a secret. If we can remove the infection before it gets to their blood they will remain, slightly normal until the next time something like this may occur. Also if you don’t mind, telling him not to show up with his brigade. He’s not really needed. Thanks Bruce.”

Ignazio closed the door and then waited for Lloyd before approaching the school doors. They’d have to get around the ocean of students and the teachers guarding the way to the building that was echoing with the high pitch sound.

Turning his head to look at the car and noticed the door hadn’t opened yet. Was Lloyd afraid of an actual battle situation? But they’ve faced worse together, including a Hydra, which compared to a bunch of Hobgoblins was in a completely different class and league. Ignazio closed his eyes and then raised his head before shoving his hands into his trouser pockets. ”Fine, I’ll deal with it on my own.” he muttered and started walking calmly towards the door before his calm walk turned into a fast past trout then a jog. Weaving through the sea of pedestrians Ignazio slipped passed the teachers with a simple leap into the air and landed on the other side of the human barrier they were creating to keep the group at bay. Ignazio landed in a simple crouch stance before getting up and walking calmly by ignoring everything everyone was calling out to him. Ignazio removed the sunglasses from his face after taking his right hand from his pocket and slid the glasses into his front pocket of his blazer. ”I’ll end this without breaking a sweat” he muttered as he reached into his pocket and removed four long sheet of paper with Sanskrit along the front of the paper, from his pocket and tossed them into the air after walking through the door way. Upon tossing the sheets into the air they flew backwards and attached themselves onto the archway of the door before they began emitting a light golden color. Those who could see auras and demons would be able to notice the barrier that was just created. It shimmered like glitter in the air between the large doorway. Ignazio had placed the barrier to keep demons from exiting and entering the building; mainly those whom were evil.

The young tamer turned and looked out to the group of students as his body was far enough into the school that they couldn’t see him any longer; a faint smile appeared on his face as he looked at the barrier and then turned to face the direction of the Great Hall. ”Now, let’s begin.” he said to himself as he continued walking down the halls.

It was time to jump into action, and as Ignzaio said his name, Lloyd was already pushing out of the car, closing the door behind him. "There's no need to reach the entire school. From just this, we should assume the worst. Multiple areas of the school are undoubtedly covered with the largest demonic presences, and if our headmaster has not started some type of detainment on whats going on, then we take matters into our own hands. " spoke Lloyd as he gripped Durandal tighter in his hands. Whatever was going on, it was not going to end well, but they had a chance to stop it, and if not stop it, they would contain until something could be done. "Lloyd, we need to move." He was well aware that they needed to move, but the first problem would be what their move was exactly. How they would go about their counter, and the method they would use in battle. Ignazio called on his driver to get a coverup story for them, something that while necessary, could be handled with immense ease by the elder Barthomeloi. Then, without warning, Ignazio was off, tearing into the building to begin his fight. Needless to say, Lloyd was still standing where he had been left, but in doing so, he would make sure the remaining students would at least move out of the way. He had directed some away from windows, and others towards the outer parts of the courtyard where no damage should have been able to reach them.

Taking his own cell phone out, he dialed his great grandfather's number quickly before speaking. "You know I do not call upon your aid for much unless it is something of a problem. There is something of a situation that's arose. The Barthomeloi are going to cover up the story of what happens, but if it looks as though they need help, please assist them in whatever way you can. Do this for me, as a fellow Sword Saint?" When he had heard his great grandfather agree to his words, he ended the phone call before sliding his phone into his pocket. It was time to begin and as he ran forwards, he felt himself pass through the barrier the teachers had put up, and without listening to anything they may have said, he continued moving forwards. A golden light illuminated the doorway, and upon passing through, he was quick to take note of the second barrier he had passed through. Smiling at the precautions taken once again, he progressed forwards, headed directly for the Cafeteria.

Suddenly outside the walls of True Cross, news crews were gathering around and were followed by fire trucks. Suddenly the speaker systems of the schools were activated, and a distorted voice began speaking. “Welcome, everyone. I applaud you for making it thus far, and extend all of you an invitation to join me in Pandemonium. Many of you have proven yourself here today, while those of you were completely outclassed, there is still hope yet for you to level up. I am the game master Vesalius, some of you have already found your way into one of Pandemonium’s many battles, but be sure to know this isn’t just any game. It’s a battle of life and death. This is only the beginning everyone. Prepare yourselves for battle. If you want power, money, and status beyond your dreams, then come to Pandemonium and achieve victory by defeating me in the Tower of Salvation. I’ll await you all there.” With that being said the speakers were deactivated and the hobgoblins all vanished into purple like rifts leaving behind the damage they had caused and the damaged caused by those facing them. The news casters began questioning the students outside in the courtyard, while cameras were taping the school and the victims of the Pandemonium epidemic. This begins our tale into the first chapter of DoD, the title of this arc is Tokyo RPG.

Lilitu eventually made it to the campus, having ducked behind various things and snuck around to get here. She couldn't be sure if any other humans besides Rogue could see her so she had to be careful. That and her lack of skirt was getting to her. As she ducked around the main wall she felt a shiver run down her spine. It was a very odd sensation and caused her to look around. When it was clear no one was there she carried on, hiding behind trees and such as she went. If only there was a way to find Rogue besides going from place to place. Lilitu wiped her forehead, it really as way too hot for her.

Vindictus yawned waide, jaw popping and tanned skin giving a healthy glow in the bright unfiltered sunlight. It was so much nicer being outside than in a cramped room. He enjoyed his experiments and search for information, but he enjoyed being out amongst nature just as much, and it was hard, at times, to achieve a balance amongst both. A strong hand lifted to reach an index finger into the breast pocket, gently brushing a caring pad over the head of Greens the tiny Greenman demon that was resting there. While walking around the perimeter of the courtyard, enjoying the silence as all of the students were in class, the male's face slowly pulled a frown, soft footsteps going steady as he sensed a presence. What was a demon doing out here? Couldn't it be considerate and not be so close that Doctor Blacklace could just do hiw merry silent wonder without being disturbed so he could enjoy being amongst this cultivated version of nature? With a heavy sigh and a deep look of depression coming over his usual smooth features, Vin walked towards the source of the hidden, sneaking presence. It held such a low aura, Vin sensed, that he felt sfe to approach, which meant he had no cause to simply keep walking and pretend to ignore the source. Perhaps it was a half-breed student playing hookey? How inconsiderate... With a brush of a finger, Vin lured Green's head up to peer over the pocket, silently telling the creature to be ready. Approaching the source, Vindictus spoke up in a calm, somewhat bored voice.

"I can sense where you are so step out and save me the bother of a chase." Vindictus spoke, deep blue eyes appearing sad and empty. "Now." He ordered, somehow having some semblance of authority despite the tired tone.

Lilitu froze in her hiding place. Someone had noticed her and it didn't sound like Rogue. "What do I do? What do I do?" He clearly didn't have to same nature as Rogue and as soon as he said "Now," her spine had tensed. If she ran then that would make things worse, but if she stepped out he might try and kill her. Gripping onto the tree her nails scratched groves into the wood, she took a deep breath and tried to relax. Rogue had told her not to cause trouble for humans so she did as she was asked. "I don't mean you any harm. I'm stepping out now." She tried to sound confident like her mother but there was clearly an edge of terror in her voice. Lilitu just prayed he couldn't see her underwear. Peeking out from behind the tree she saw only one person, maybe it wasn't so bad. She stepped out entirely and walked a few steps forwards so she was in the open. She gripped the front of Rogue's coat and held it down to hide her underwear. Lilitu remained silent and looking at the ground sheepishly. She didn't know what to do or say to get out of this situation and hoped he didn't consider her a threat.

Vindictus Blacklace said nothing, lightly scarred hands resting on sharp hips as he waited for the demon to come out. The voice sounded feminine, small even. The appeared to be some attempt to sound confident and sure of herself, but that slightly tremble and fumble in her pronounciation had Vindictus believing otherwise. A head poked out from behind a close tree, the sight of silver white hair and a long red horn with matching skin causing a single eyebrow to lift. A demon that hadn't even bothered to possess a human body? And hwat's more it looked like she had been devoid of clothing. Had she been attacked? How much trouble would this one walk, meant to alliviate the stress and tension in him, get him? With a heavy sigh, Vin lifted a hand to rub the dark mess of his blue tinted hair.

"Uh-huh. Sure. Great." He bemoaned, sounding exhausted. "Just tell me what it is you're doing here and we'll go from there. I want this over with quickly." He mumbled, hands going to cross over his chest. A small, vine covered head poked out from Vin's breast pocket, black eyes peering at the red skinned demon curiously, its white flower catching and reflecting the sunlight with a small bloom. Vin had dealt with demons several times before, and in several different contexts. Some were just territorial, others hungry, and there were the few who just wanted to sate their blood lust. This girl gave off the air of none of these. The way she stood, hands clasping, almost desperately so, on to the front of a jacket to pull it down and over her front, her body hunched as if to help the covering - she gave off nothing but vulnerability. It was just like catching a regular school girl after being horrible pranked, trying her best to get home without drawing any attention to herself. Unfortunetly, be she a demon or full human, Vindictus' moral compas and teacher's ethics stated he couldn't let a partially naked girl go wondering around the school campus.

Lilitu wasn't sure what to say. She didn't want to get herself into any more trouble and yet she didn't want to make trouble for Rogue. But this human looked older than Rogue so maybe he was his superior, in which case it would be bad if she lied to him. She shuffled her feet a little as she looked nervously at the man. "I... I'm looking for a student here. His name is... Is Rogue, Rogue Hisagi." Her gaze shifted to the grass and she tensed her shoulders. This was an awful situation for her, she'd been hoping to find Rogue quickly and get out but instead someone had found her and she didn't know what he'd do. "P...Please don't be mad at him. He helped me after I arrived in the town. He was the first human to show he any kindness. He gave me these glasses and his coat. I don't want him to get into trouble because of me." Her eyes were tearing up and there was a sense of urgency in her voice.

Vindictus gave a small, sad, moan, blue eyes closing briefly as already slouched shoulders hunched forward even more. A tanned hand, flecked with the lighter tones, and some white, healed nicks and old scars, reached up to pinch the bridge of a slanted, pointed nose. Seriously? This girl was seeking a student here? A cram school student, most likely. It would be rare for this 'Rogue Hisagi' to just be a regular student who had the ability to see a full-blooded demon. So now, for some strange, foriegn reason that Vin had little inclination to know about, this demon was seeking a student of True Cross Academy, risking the wrath of Exocists such as the doctor himself... because the student was nice to her? Alright, he mentally chided himself, forcing this small spiral of depression - formed at the sight of an unwanted extra workload - to try and slow down. This girl isn't causing any damage, yet. Just... just breathe in - Vin inhaled deeply through his nose - hold it, feel your muscles tense, and then breath it out, let your muscles relax as the stress leaves you body...

Sensing its master's internal struggle, the vine-covered clay doll crawled out of Vin's shirt breast pocket. It's tiny body was slipping and struggling its way in an attempt to get up to the Doctor's shoulder until the human reached up with a spare hand to give the Greenman some help. The small demon fit un the palm of Vin's scarred hand, a look of concentration coming across its face as its vines suddenly began growing some new, different coloured and shapped leaves. Those leaves it then pluched from its own body and held them up, rubbing the leaves gently against Vin's temples once it had been placed on the narrow shoulders of Vin's white jacket. With a gentle sigh, deep blue eyes opened once again, the strain apparently being eased from his body.

"Right. Okay. Calm down." He mumbled, holding a hand up in an appeasing gesture. "Why are you looking for him?" Vin inquired. "Could it wait until after classes are finished?"

She shuffled uneasily as the man stood in silence. Lilitu looked up for a moment and saw a small green man rubbing leaves on the humans forehead. Could the green man be this humans familiar? When questioned further Lilitu tried to wipe the tears away but to hardly any effect, she was awful at speaking to people and this man was quite scary in her eyes. "Rogue told me not to get into trouble or bother the humans. Then he said he was late and he... Well he sort of... He..." Her face began to turn a light pink as she spoke. "He kind of ran off... With my... Clothes." She hoped that this answered the man's questions and added "My were covered in dirt so he said he'd get them cleaned and well... After he left I didn't know what to do." She hoped this wouldn't make her only human friend out to sound like a pervert.

"I... see." Vin sighed. The earlier tension in his body was still present, however it was to a lesser degree. The scent of mint began leaking into the air from the small leaves the Greenman was gently rubbing, in soothing circles, on the skin of Vin's forehead. The doctor gave a small shrug, giving in to the girl's words and coming to the easiest decision that allowed his morality some sense of ease. "You're staying with me," The Blacklace male decided with a sad sigh. "Until I find Rogue you can stay in my classroom - ensure nothing bad happens to you." He began to turn away, pulling a key ring and a small phone from the white jacket's pockets, before turning back to the red demon girl. "I'm a Tamer, miss. Which means I'll have more tolerance than most when it comes to dealing with your ilk. But I'll kill you the second I sense you doing anything I won't like." Vindictus informed, sounding bored while also sincere, and somewhat stern as well. He was clinically depressed, but not suicidal. "Don't touch my stuff and don't summon your aura." Vin paused, dark blue eyes thinking something over with a serious expression. "And don't eat my plants." With that Vin opened the phone and made a short call to the school office, finding out who, if anyone, in the school was named 'Rogue Hisagi'. It took some minutes, time that only made Vin watch the girl with sharp, sad eyes, ready to attack the moment the name was denied. Lucky for her there was a Rogue. And low and behold he was currently in the Cram School program with Abiel Gottschalk. Finding the desired number, Vin sent a small verbal message to Abiel's phone.

"After your class gather Rogue Hisagi and bring him to my classroom. Thanks." Vin added the word of gratitude after a small pause, sounding hassled and as exhausted as ever. Done, Vin pointed the girl to walk towards a small side door some feet away. "That way." He instructed. "And let me open it."

Lilitu swallowed. Forget scary, this human was on par with most demons. She did as she was told and walked in front of the man. He obviously wanted her in his sight at all times So, as she walked, she pulled down the back of the coat to try and cover her underwear. This man had said he was a tamer, that was some kind of exorcist right? Then that must mean he's killed demons before, probably tough ones. She stood no chance if he decided to end her, comparing her to a regular demon was like comparing a tiger to a kitten. And what could she do, her keys were in her jacket which Rogue had along with her skirt. Once she reached the door she waited, absolutely terrified.
