 -|-Axel Frey-|- Axel walked into the cafe. He had a long day getting to Death city, filled with difficulty; and an even more difficult time trying to navigate the city itself. So far, he didn't think he was anywhere near the DWMA, and probably wouldn't find it for a while.
He sat down at an empty table, sighing.
'Mein Gott, this city is colossal!' he thought, looking around with his one good eye.

The morning passed by way faster than the redhead thought. She was supposed to give some books back to the library in time and she barely made it. Tired from running upstairs and downstairs at the speed of light. Melani thought it would be good to settle down a little and pick a snack.
The streets were rather calm and it was easy to move form side to side. Until her hunger would not hold on. And stopped at the caffe nearby.
The door opened, and she walked in. The floor marking every move of her feet. With small taps from her leather boots. She would happen to see and empty spot, just her luck.
She would walk briskly, there was dessert and order timing at task. But as if fate decided. She arrived with Axel at the table at the same time.
The redhead paused, she gave a nervous laugh. The stomach growled, how was she suppoed to hide thad. Cheeks turned red, and pride was swollen. As the girl suggested.
"Want to share spot?"
She had little option, there was no time.

"Sure, why not?" he said with a german accent. He calmly moved to one side of the table, giving her the spot with a window seat.
"My name is Axel Frey, by the way."

Melani saw the red eyed german and smiled. The cheeks would keep red as the stomach growled every minute of the hour.
"Thank you, you are really something."
She thanked, and sat by the table. She then realized her name was missing so far.
"I'm Melani, please to meet you."
The german accent was curious, yet not as curious as for the eyepatch the brown haired boy carried with him.
She would not say, she would not ask, but her curious gaze would land upon it every chance she had.
She didn't wanted to remain silent, but the hunger and the patch would not let her express her thought, fearing the first thing she would say would be eyepatch, much for her dignity's demise.
She smiled gently, trying to brush the blush off.
"S-so... have you eye... uh.. I really like desserts. Have you ordered already?... oh god I'm so dumb..."
Her face turned red, she couldn't contain herself. This was so embarrassing. She took a deep breath. Tried to meditate a little just as Illo used to told her. Finally, seconds later, she releases the air from her lungs and attempts to start over.
"um, I'm sorry, had a long day, I'm really hungry and sometimes I get carried away."
She grinned widely, scratched the back of her head. There was no big deal now, the past was the past.
Who was this Axel Frey, and what was up with the eyepatch?
An interesting fellow she bumped into, hopefully a new person to befriend.

The redhead gasped as Axel pointed at his eyepatch.
"N-no!..ahem I mean no..."
She replied, her eyes couldn't get away from the eyepatch, just as if it was made out of food.
"But if you like to share your story I won't stop you from doing it..."
She replied, totally interested in the story behind the eyepatch. After all, being the Nurse's apprentice she was to be curious about treating wounds and how the recovery process was going. Perhaps some people may thought she was minding other people's business which was why she denied her interest. Even when she was dying to know. Despite being her completely obvious about it.
