Atticus laughed a little and began to do the same, but what was noticeable about his actions was that his mechanical arm was wrapped in a small veil of his own soul wavelength, keeping the water from getting inside the mechanisms. These were just one of the many things that Atticus had to do now that his arm was mechanical. Shira would notice him hesitating to move the arm or even see it, clearly it still bothered him to have to use such a thing.
Shira glanced towards Atticus while rinsing off her hair, observing him as he was still getting used to his other arm. She stared at the arm quietly for a few moments before glancing back.
While the shower still ran, Atticus would lower his head, "It's disgusting, isn't it?" he asked her, "This arm of mine." Atticus looked over at his arm then, "Forged from cold hard steel, never will it be able to feel the touch of your body or the warmth coming from the sun. I don't know why, but every time I look at it, it only causes me grief and regret,"
Shira looked towards Atticus before shaking her head "It isn't disgusting." she told him before taking his artificial arm and holding it in both of hers. "I think it looks cool. You can still use it instead of not having a limb at all. And be lucky it was just your arm and nothing else." she told him before looking up at him with a small smile on her face.
Atticus looked back at Shira and smiled, but clearly it still bothered him that he was almost killed by Herald and then disgraced by begging and selling his soul. That mechanical arm was a reminder of his weakness and failure. "I'm sorry." Atticus stated for no particular reason.
Shira placed on of her hands on the side of Atticus' face "It's alright... we all have our weaknesses. We have to move forward from that though." she told him.
Shira gave a warm smile towards Atticus before leaning up and kissing him. "I love you very much, you know?" she asked after going back down to her normal height.
Atticus smiled, "I know you do, that is why you keep coming after me, no matter how far I fall." he told her before smiling. "I love you as well." As he said this, Atticus would cut off the water and let the steam continue to rise. Stepping out of the shower, Atticus would pick up a towel and wrap it around his waist, covering himself up.
Shira made a face "Don't make it sound creepy..." she said with a laugh before Atticus turned off the water and stepped out. She stepped up and grabbed a towel as well to dry off.
After he finished drying off, Atticus opened the bathroom door and let a short burst of cold air in as the steam poured out. Exiting the bathroom, Atticus would have no choice but to put on the same clothes that he had worn earlier, since he had no possession left, after destroying his house. "I think I should be Charlotte a visit today." he muttered, as she could be able to conjure up him some clothes.
After placing his jacket on, Atticus glanced back at Shira, "Alright, lets..." stopping, Atticus recalled the words he said to Charlotte and Nariaki, back when he was depressed. Reaching up, Atticus would place his hand on his cheek, the same cheek that Nariaki had slapped. In fact, Shira had also slapped him there as well, it seems he had a pretty rough time. "I've got to make it up to her and him." he uttered before heading towards the door, "You coming?" he asked.
Shira tied her hair back before looking towards Atticus "Yeah. While you are talking to Charlotte, I think I'll talk with N again. He is pretty interesting." she said, referring to her shadow basically that she had met earlier. She walked over to Atticus then, ready to head out.
