Laurence and Kili continued to work together. They were making progress, but there was still a long way to go. Laurence only hoped that his knife and Kili's teeth were up to the task.

really sorry i've been a fail at posting .... i'm not a very big help in this sad
Katori gathered the branches Danae cut down with Slash, he put them with the pile at camp then they went out again, searching for more decent branches to bring back.

They didn't get all that man this time so they kept going, Danae oddly at home in the trees, cutting down branches. Katori wondered if she wasn't part Pachirisu or something. He chuckled to himself at the outrageous thought as he collected the branches that Danae cut.

Arms full they returned to camp again, putting the branches down again, setting back off. This was more work than he'd thought, especially since it was Danae doing the hardest part, he was glad he'd been a loner for a while though, he'd built up quite the physique striking out on his own.

Cai hated to dull the blade of his small pocket knife but an extra hand seemed necessary if they wanted a shelter large enough for all if them. Cutting through the pulpy stems if the large ground fronds wouldn't be too large a task for the blade.

Some experimenting with bending and stomping on the base of a couple small saplings supplied some long sticks to be used as supports. It took more effort though and some one would have to trip the broken edge later. Cai would stick to the large fern like leaves for now.

The leaves were much easier to gather. What couldn't be used to cover them could be piled into mats to keep them off of the sand. Cai took his bu dle and turned back to the camp to drop it off before returning for more.

On second note. Branches weren't that hard to gather when something har already knocked them to the ground. Cai picked a couple up right out ot the snd wtih little difficulty.

Already Cai felt a sense of accomplishment as his efforts started to show. Having the help of the bunneary to gether berries had alloeed him to save his energy to help here. If he paced himself they'd be in good shape this evening.

Ok. One more small tree fell to Cai's efforts. It was just straight and tall enough to make the healer want it. So what if he didn't have a large knife or a saw. He had stubbornness on his side.

Cara and Spirit were back to work, cutting away at the branches and hauling them away to the ever growing pile. It was then Cara noticed that Katori was finally joining in along with someone else she didn't know. At least they had some more help.

Cara hauled another bundle of branches over to the pile and called over to the person she didn't know. "Hey, thanks for the help! I'm Cara and that's Spirit." She said, motioning to Spirit who was happily working away up in the trees. 299/1150
