Dorian really hadn't expected a text today - it came as a little surprise. But, Ireland, man, he hadn't been to Ireland in years. It was a short stint during his travels - one that was rather foggy and perpetually drunk. He figured he'd go - it'd be nice to actually remember something this time.
"At least I am not late." He muttered when he came up behind Solomon to stand by him, noticing everyone starting to get ready - probably some kind of warning that things would start swinging. Ah well. Catching sight of a lot of familiar faces, he made a mental note to say hello or something when everyone was less pre-occupied, but couldn't help and wave Solia down.
"C'est bien de voir que je serai en bonne compagnie." He voiced to her, giving her a sly little wink, before turning back to his bro, and Nevada. "Bonjour, ma amie." He offered to Nevada also, giving her a soft grin.

Even as Nevada informed Milo that he didn't have to inform the pink haired girl about the possible mission, he still found his finger hovering over the send button before it pressed down. Because, why not. It gave her the option and a heads up; and if she didn't come, she simply didn't come. (For a moment, his mind did kind of linger about the whole 'worrying her' thing, but then well, when people became close and all. He mentally waved it off).chimarii text to Chelsea: ZyuPink! We're going on a mission to Ireland, you should totally come. It'll be sweet. Leaving in 5.... probably less now... "The one and only," he paused, "Well, that I know of anyways, but that'd be her," Milo replied with a grin as he put his phone back into his pocket. There might be other pink haired girls with a bow for all he knew, but Chel was the only one graced with the ZyuPink name to him. And man, Milo would be elated to discover they basically had the same nickname for the pink haired Sun; just different versions of the same character (okay, she was actually called the Ptera Ranger in Japanese... but it didn't have the same ring to it).
And with the arrival of Dorian, Milo gave him a curious look. Dude, was that French?

"Yes, Mamavada." To say that Abbi had been practicing her nicknames was a bit of an understatement as she had honestly tried writing out a few different ones in a notebook that were intended to be used on Nevada. It was perhaps not the best way to make up a name for someone, but it was really all the girl was able to do given her unfortunate ability to totally freeze up when it came to being creative on the spot. That little failing would probably get her seriously injured (again) in a place like this, but for now, she had the lovely Nevada to keep her safe. Somewhat safe. At about the same time Abbi wandered off, so did her friend, but the teen took note that the older girl seemed to be making pleasant small talk with the creepy visor guy from the tournament. That was interesting to say the least and while Abbi was definitely not going over there to meet said visor guy, she at least found him ever so slightly less creepy when Nevada was the one talking to him. Granted, she was totally bad a** so it was probably just that she could totally handle him if he tried anything spooky. Abbi was just going to stick with the cute ginger kthx. The initial apology made Abbi laugh since she wasn't at all used to someone putting it back on her. Apologies came quick when she was flustered, but for someone to do the same to her? It was actually kind of cute! "Hi Molly! My name is Abbi Killian! I'm a Moon! But a Safety Specialist? So is that like... Is that like a variant version of being a Moon? Since you're Mist instead but your specialty is in safety? Woooow how does that work? That sounds REALLY COOL." Though her volume level was a little lower due to it being early in the morning, the excitement still rang high in her words.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Abbi!” Molly replied, her smile turning fox-eyed briefly before Abbi started to bombard her with questions. “Um…” Molly’s smile grew a bit nervous as she wondered if she could, hopefully, answer all of those questions properly. “Um…I…I don’t think so?” Molly paused. “I’m not specializing on a few divisions yet…but the safety I’m specializing in is safety for everyone, and for all the divisions. I want to make sure everyone is properly informed and trained on how to handle equipment that becomes available for any Hunter to use, and then of course, general safety, like making sure each hunter is taking care of his or herself!” Molly beamed before she then looked horrified. “Oh no…I’m so sorry! I got carried away!”

With Milo's text, Chel promptly fell out of bed, realizing that she'd slept through all 4 of her alarms. Oops. It happened.
"I'M HERE AM I LATE DID I MISS IT," she said in between pants as she finally arrived at the scene. Hunters were still here, so it looked like maybe they had yet to depart, but ...
She noticed Evan in the crowd first and ran to him. "Dude bro am I in trouble please don't let them kick my a** oh my goooddd." She also leaned on him because holy s**t running that fast was painful. "What're we even doing fuuuckkk." Who was this girl with Evan? She knew this girl, she did, but what was her name again ...

Evan was given a slightly quizzical look at first, Gale tilting his head in bemusement -
- at least until Stormy introduced them, and then he realized just exactly who this guy was. He gave him a small smile and extended his hand out towards Evan, who was both taller and bigger than he was and he wasn't sure how he felt about that.
"Nice to meet you finally," said Gale with a sideways glance at Stormy. "I've been meaning to make your acquaintance for some time. And I'm sorry, but I have to get things moving before everyone gets antsy."
He gave them both an apologetic look and stepped away towards the portal, talking quietly to the worker on duty.

Stepping through on the other side of the portal would reveal that they'd arrived on a vast green land set in the middle of the ocean, off the coast of Kilrush, County Clare, Ireland. The smell of salt and sea water hung heavy in the air, the only sounds that of the swaying tide and a few stray gulls flying overhead.
There were no inhabitants on Inis Cathaigh, also known as Scattery Island; the last residents had left in 1969.
"Okay," said Gale, as they stood in the midst of a vast field, the wind tousling his white blonde hair. He held up a hand for quiet, and gestured around at the deserted island. "There are three areas to investigate, as the actual location of the base is unknown and has not been properly recorded. Please spread out and see what you can find."
OOC Roll 1d100 to see what you find! You can roll up to 3 times per character! THE LIGHTHOUSE - A half decrepit twin of the one on Deus Headquarters, the top half is missing, stones mostly crumbled.THE TOWER OF INNISCATHAY - Once it might have been grand, but now the tower is partially dissolved from decades of misuse and weathering.THE MONASTERY - The most logical place for a base, the Monastery was last inhabited too long ago to be remembered properly. It is the most solid of the leftover buildings, but it has still fallen to ruin, and the interior smells curiously of decay. 1 - 10 > { LIGHTHOUSE } Near the base of the lighthouse, half buried in dirt and grime, you find a little, flat rock. There's a vaguely familiar O shaped marking on it...hmm, maybe you better keep that.
11 - 25 > { TOWER } Alas, all you find is some dirt. Good job. sad
26 - 35 > { LIGHTHOUSE } You see on the floor in one of the dusty upper rooms what looks like to be the remains of a notebook. When you pick it up to look at it, you find that there are unfamiliar scribblings on the pages and what looks like mathematical equations.
36 - 45 > { TOWER } You find a seagull keeping its nest near a window, but it's just a seagull.
46 - 60 > { MONASTERY } You've discovered the second floor, which reeks of mildew; in fact, the smell is so overpowering that you almost don't notice the strange runic markings etched into one side of the wall...
61 - 75 > { LIGHTHOUSE } You find a lot of dead spiders on the third floor, but other than that, this particular floor seems rather strangely bare.
76 - 85 > { MONASTERY } You reach the basement, which is dusty and decrepit and smells like old papers and books. But you also find a locked door that refuses to open. Maybe if you had a key, you could get in, but unfortunately it seems pretty heavily barred from the inside... (quote kurotomato)
86 - 90 > { TOWER } There is another strange set of markings on one of the inner walls here, but you can't figure out what it is or where it's from.
91 - 100 > { LIGHTHOUSE } - MINI BOSS FIGHT - You have stumbled across a nest of what appear to be FEAR created raptors hiding out in one of the top rooms of the Lighthouse, though they spread fast. They do not appreciate being disturbed and take after you and your companions!
> Raptors have 50 HP > Raptors do 2 autodamage > Roll 1d20 to escape - 15+ is successful, though you take -2 damage > Roll 1d20 to call for help - 10+ people have heard your call (can try up to twice).

Thank you, polite British boyfriend. She shot Gale a grateful look. Surely that'd make a good enough first impression that Evan wouldn't feel the need to follow through with his previous threats. Not that she didn't think Gale couldn't handle himself, but she really didn't want her boys fighting when there could be peace and harmony instead.
Stormy winced as a girl shouted in their direction and ran over, blinking owlishly. Wait a second, that was . . . But before she could really form words, Gale was rallying them to the portal. She could figure it out along the way. "Come on~" she said as she hopped in.
Attacked by the smell of the sea, for a moment Stormy was sure a titan would rise up here too. Or not so happy mermaids. Or a kraken. Things just didn't seem to go well on the beach, really. When it was obvious nothing was coming out to attack, she relaxed and surveyed the half-fallen tower ahead. At least it wasn't silver . . .
"You guys see anything?"

Nevada blinked.
"See, now you know her too. That's my girlfriend." Nevada smiled at Solomon, nudging him a bit with her elbow, "I should've figured you all call her something else. ZyuPink?" She looked at confirmation from Milo. Her smiled turned to Dorian next..."Hi Handsome, come to join the fun?" She gave a dreamy sigh over the french accent okay even though she had a very funny amazing girlfriend, Dorian was dreamy. It was okay to dream.
They were called from their spots, moving through the portal and into fresh...wet but fresh air. It was cool, my cooler then the Island and had Nevada drawing her scarf up.
"It's so pretty here." She had never been to Ireland but..."I guess we should explore?" She left the main group, following a path to a very rundown church and entering it. She didn't notice the smell at first, stopping at pews, picking up wet and rotted bibles....Leaves tumbled a little. Oddly enough, she felt a small chill rising and rubbed her arms. A rotted staircase led the way to an even more rotted floor. It's air heavy with mildew and rot that her scarf was brought up the rest of the way, covering her mouth.
She almost missed the runes...On her way to leaving, something flickered in her eyesight. She turned to look, moving closer to the rune etchings..Quote: 46 - 60 > { MONASTERY } You've discovered the second floor, which reeks of mildew; in fact, the smell is so overpowering that you almost don't notice the strange runic markings etched into one side of the wall...

Evan squinted down at Gale, outwardly unimpressed by his attempts at congeniality but secretly glad that he didn't seem to be a douchebag--at first glance, anyway. He took Gale's (tiny, tiny) outstretched hand in his own. Had there been more time, he would have had the necessary conversations with him just to get it out of the way. However, time didn't seem to be a luxury they had at the moment, so Evan contented himself with squeezing Gale's hand as he shook it. Hard. That would have to suffice, for now. "Likewise, I'm sure," he drawled, letting go of Gale so the other Hunter could get this show on the road. He jumped as someone ran into him not a second later, putting one arm around whoever it was, steadying both of them. Evan smiled down at the familiar pink head. "Looks like you're just in time, Powder Puff," he said to Chel. "Stay close," he cautioned as he stepped through the portal after Stormy. There didn't seem to be much here--a few crumbling buildings and an open field--but that didn't mean there was any reason to let his guard down. He stuck close to Stormy, taking a look around and seeing...nothing of note. "Seems like a whole lot of nothing, so far," he said.

Chel didn't know what was going on between the pipsqueak and Evan, but if Evan had growly stares for the tiny blondie, then so did Chel. Even if she didn't know what they meant.
But their time was up and Chel had to go through the portal, following behind Evan and maybe sneaking a peek at his a**?.
When they'd finally gone through the tunnel of energy and separated from the other two, Chel leaned over and whispered, "Dude you got a beef with the blonde one? I can hold him and you can punch, I'm just saying ..."
They'd wandered towards the monastery, but Chel didn't really feel much into it. It wasn't all that pretty- though it was nice to get off Deus. "What're we doin' out here anyways?"

Solomon scratched the side of his neck. "She lives two doors down from me and next to Dory here." Solomon offered his bro a fist bump just like he had Milo, grinning at him. "Nice to see you made it just in time for blast off, now it's time to see if there are giant monsters.." Again.
He actually hadn't seen anything normal sized yet. Oops.
Like Ireland. Ireland was not normal sized, but he did take out his phone and snap a picture of where they were. Was this where the angry scotsman or whatever he was supposed to call Rep was from? (Rep was on the very short list of hunters he had met and didn't like. Him and Taym.) Never the less, it seemed as though when Nevada went to investigate the Monastery....
she hadn't released his arm and so he was going along with her. That was fine, moldy old buildings were best investigated together.
Unfortunately for him, his visor didn't really help with either visibility inside of the Monastery nor blocking out the smell much. That was why he pushed it up while he looked around inside, mucking around with stuff and smearing the rot between his fingers and giving it a closer sniff.
As things got stronger in scent, the look on his face became more and more pronounced in a grimace, lips tight and his nose curling slightly.
Seeing Nevada checking something out by one of the walls, he followed after her, peering at her around her shoulder. "Okay, so is that like one of our runes or something else?" he asked.

Nevada had forgotten about her Solomon attachment...maybe she referred to him as a bigger Man purse. Literally a man purse. It wasn't till he spoke, throwing a look over her shoulder at the revealment of his eyes that she smiled.
"Still not turned to stone, super power has been confirmed." She teased, muffled through her scarf, reaching out to touch the runes. " Yeah, not sure why it's here though. I didn't think the runes themselves held a power to them. Maybe it's a message?" She didn't know how to read Deus runes either.
"God it smells terrible here, I've never been in a building with this strong of a smell."

He grinned back at her. "Or maybe I'm just slowly turning you to stone one piece at a time." he suggest, nudging her side playfully in jest. "We'll have to test these effects more thoroughly in controlled conditions."
"Well, how do we know this whole place isn't made out of Runestone? I mean, can we tell if it is Runestone just like that?" A building made of Runestone seemed like it would take a lot of time for an abysmal payoff, though.
He took out his phone and snapped a picture of the runes just in case. Never knew what information was important, after all. "It'd smell worse if they had something breaking it down because then you'd have the rot smell too." It still smelled bad, though. At least according to his face.

"Iffn' dis is what you would call fun, oui." He retorted softly to the woman next to Sol, returning the fist bump to his bro. He totally had their back, in whatever they decided to get themselves in to. It couldn't be worse than camping with a certain hunter again, he was certain about that. "I 'ave yet to 'ave any fun with big monsters." He murmured a bit before they worked their way towards the portal, allowing his partners to jump in first, before taking his sweet a** time to saunter down slowly.
It was kind of nice to be back in this country, even if the feeling of just appearing somewhere was still foriegn to him. Clearing his throat a little, he found an entrance that was least used in the monestary, going to do a little research of his own.
He could tell there were others in the building, as soft, very quiet footfalls could be heard over head - but he seemed to have found his way in to a basement of a sort. It smelt moldy and the air was - to say the least - stale, and made him subconsciously start to flex his hands in his age worn gloves. He was not a fan of dark basements, not at all.
What was he to do though?
He was asked to look around, and, in doing so, he found a full lot of ******** all, shuffling some discarded books that had since worn back in to the ground, kicking the wall as he went. It wasn't until he knocked something that felt hollow - but reinforced a least.
"Hunh, would you look at that." He murmured out loud, scratching his chin a little as he went to place his hand on the door, giving it a sound twist of the handle, only to be rewarded with a little groan and creek of age, but beyond that, a whole lotta ******** all, once again. "Boss man would probably like to know this." He thought out loud, before deciding to seek out someone to help him.
