I'm glad that there is still an interest to do this. I'm planning on making this a reality.
So here's what will happen: I'll take names and put them in a list, then from there choose randomly to see who gets an interview. This way, there's no bias and you won't know who will be interviewed until the next spotlight.
If you are selected, I'll ask you several questions, falling under several categories:
Biographical-Just some basic info, name, age, birthplace, etc.
RP-Sort of the meat and potatoes of the whole deal. Rather than talk about a specific character's exploits, I'll ask other things, like how you decided on this character and their gimmick, the origin of it, your favorite moment RPing with them, etc.
Opinions-We all have them and I'm not afraid to let people express theirs. Obviously I don't want essays, but I'll have a few questions pertaining to this, some deep (such as political alignment or religion) others not so much (Star Trek vs Star Wars, Chicken or Fish).
Other-Questions that don't really fit into those three categories, may be stuff pertaining to you specifically.
Now I'll have several questions to ask, and obviously answering them all is a bit much, especially if you're uncomfortable with the question. I understand; feel free to answer as many questions as you'd like to (pertaining mostly to the opinion questions). If there's something you'd like to add, let me know.
Hopefully we can use this as a way to show how important we are to this community.

hmm, perhaps you should consider just having everyone be an option, unless upon contacting them they say they don't want to. then you just randomize who you want each week or however often you do it.
but if you want to stick with people volunteering, i'm all for it. sounds fun

You can choose to answer which questions you'd like; certainly won't force anyone to answer anything they don't want to answer. i do stuff like this regularly elsewhere actually. i have fun with them. fun part of being a self published author, we do interviews regularly. I'm looking forward to seeing whatever is in the other category. Whenever it's my turn, off the wall questions make me laugh.
