Corbin looked down at Hollin and shook his head. "Sorry no can do kid. This is a special hat to Aaron so if he doesn't want ya to then I can't let ya." He said. His head snapped up to the balloon when he hear the loud ripping noise. "No I imagine not." He said.

Soon the balloon began to plummet down to the ground. Never before had he wished he had a flying pokemon. Seeing Aaron starting to lift from the basket he reached out and grabbed him. "Gotcha." He said. Aaron gave him a look that said 'but who has you?' before closing his eyes and clinging to Corbin.

Corbin didn't scream out loud, although he thought he heard Aaron quietly cry out at one point. Instead he wished his pack had a parachute in it... or that those flying pokemon would hurry up and reach them! The ground grew closer but suddenly he felt a sharp claw dig into his shoulder and then a jerk. He looked up to see a Fearow had grabbed hold of him and was flying him and Aaron to the ground.

Once on the ground Corbin breathed a sigh of relief. "Thanks Fearow." He called out as it flew off. He then began to comfort Aaron, first by placing the hat on his head and then by just patting his back and murmuring soft words of 'it's okay'.

Aaron didn't have much time to deal with Hollin as suddenly the balloon ripped too much and they began to fall out of the sky. He was so light that he began to lift into the air as he wasn't holding onto anything. But he was quickly grabbed by Corbin and all he did was cling to him for dear life. He cursed himself for not being able to do more to help and also hated that they were going to die so soon and suddenly. He let out a small cry as he thought about his trainer dying and never getting to see Ada again.

However that never came to be as they were grabbed by a flying pokemon. Another cry escaped him. Once they were on the ground he wouldn't let go of Corbin and instead was comforted by him, as best as the human could do. Never in his life had he been more terrified than this moment.

Genesis was just about to scan the balloon again when two large tearing sounds rendered her check-up unnecessary. The deflated balloon was soon upon them, and they were plummeting at a speed too quick for comfort.

Falling into character, even as she was literally falling, she allowed a shrill scream to leave her lips while she clung to Ajax like a lifeline. She looked around to see what she could use to slow her descent, only to be jerked up by the sudden grip of a second Fearow.

Visibly sagging in relief, she allowed it to gently deposit her on the floor. They seemed stranded, but at least they were alive.

Hollin gave a soft sigh and slowly rolled off Aaron for the best effect. He really wanted to try on that hat.

Lex shifted, gripping his pack tight as a clear rip could be heard. He moved quickly trying to close the flap and barely managed as they plummeted. ********. He breathed slowly, amused as Hollin puffed up, and used cotton spore in either shock or to hide himself. Lex wasn't worried too much about the Cottonee, they could float.

He grunted as he impacted against a pokemon and... sleek skin. Purple, multiple wings, Crobat. Awesome and ouch for the mostly nocturnal pokemon. Lex shifted, shrugging on his pack and stroked the bat pokemon, resting on the broad back as they headed to the ground.

"Everyone alright?" He asked, sliding down from the Crobat and looked up. Hollin was still drifting down but his partner was okay. He could recall him, but Lex was going to let the Cottonee have some fun.

He was glad he'd returned Anja to the safety of her poke ball as their means of transportation began to sink. Unlike those who were freaking out, Sabre remained silent, and alert, bracing himself and doing what one could in such a situation to keep from falling out.

But evidentaly there wasn't much to worry about, as a Pidgeot's strong talons hooked around the collar of his shirt, and drifted casually to the ground. With his feet back on land, Sabre straightened up, and glanced around his surroundings to see where they'd landed... not giving any care to the other passengers. Anja was safe, and that's all that mattered to him.

A couple of minutes after you landed, you were joined by the other balloons, one at a time. None of which crashed like yours did.

As the balloon began to sink, Anise quickly slipped the strap of her bag over her head, leaving it resting diagonally across her chest in order to help keep hold of it. Then she scrabbled to take hold of the edge of the basket, as if that might keep her from crashing somehow. Before she managed to get a good grip, something snagged the back of her shirt, jerking her up into the air as the basket fell away. The cloth pulled tight at her neck and armpits and she feared it would rip, but before it could a taloned foot grasped each of her shoulders and whatever had grabbed her shirt let go.

She looked sideways at the yellow foot with a tuft of black feathers at the ankle, then carefully turned her head to follow the leg up, noting a pair of wide, black-and-brown wings and ended (as she twisted her neck far enough to get a cramp) at a head capped with a flare of white feathers. A Braviary, she noted, just as her feet touched the ground. The bird let go and flew back to join the other birds who had been tending the balloons.

Anise found her feet didn't quite want to support her yet and slumped to a seat on the sandy ground. That had been quite a shock to say the least, Was everyone all right? Was she all right? Almost mechanically she started checking herself over for injuries, starting with her shoulders to make sure the Braviary's talons hadn't pierced or scratched her. (They hadn't, and she had to admire the bird's precision.) She patted down limbs and torso to check for soreness or swelling, flexed joints to make sure they moved correctly, and visually inspected as much as she could see of herself to look for any blood or debris. Once she was sure that she was simply shaken, not otherwise harmed, she turned her gaze on the other passengers. Then found she didn't want to get up quite yet,

After taking a few moments to just breathe and let her heart rate slow, she decided that there was no longer any reason for Oki to stay in his pokeball, and released him. As The Zoroark materialized he was already looking around to asses the situation. Anise's somewhat unsteady state and the crashed balloon where quickly noted, and he looked at her for an explanation.

"The balloon ripped and started to fall. Some flying pokemon caught us and brought us down," she told him. He nodded and took up a watchful position beside her, ready for whatever might happen next.
