๑๑๑๑Watching the kids gather things for quite some time and just as well introduce themselves to each other, Luo looked up to see Segare walking towards him with...was that the boy that was tied up earlier? "Maybe I should've looked into this earlier," Luo thought to himself as the man approached with a wave. As usual, Luo's eyes traced the boy carefully from head to toe. From the looks of it he had no equipment on him, in fact he looked rather ill-equipped to be out here at all. Resisting the urge to roll his eyes, Luo had just about had it with children showing up in their area with seemingly no survival skills. What made Luo curious about the boy however was his face. He couldn't put his finger on it, but everything about the way he looked seemed distant yet familiar.
Waving back at Segare as he got closer and began to speak, Luo realized indeed the situation needed his attention. Nodding without hesitation, Luo began walking closer to the bamboo brush towards the right, muttering in his usual tone over his shoulder, "I suggest you guys get familiar with each other's hunting habits. I'll be back to lead us out into the forest in a few minutes." Stopping just eight feet short of the bamboo thicket line, Luo turned to face Segare and the boy, his hands at either side. "This is the boy who was being dragged through camp earlier, correct?" Luo figured by Segare's earlier gestures that the boy was the place to start this conversation. He grew curious by the second however, his mind wondering what made the boy's situation require both his and Segare's attention.
Segare smiled, a bit relieved at Luo's quick reaction. Before he followed Luo away though, he turned to Rin instead. What he wanted wouldn't break her cover, since among those standing here, she was the one who'd been in the village the longest, even if it was only by a few hours. "Rin, can you keep an eye on Kensei here for a few minutes? Keep him from getting lost." he requested, pushing the boy towards her with a gentle push on his shoulder. He figured he knew her well enough by now that she'd catch the secondary request without it being voiced. Don't let him run off. Once they returned the kid, the last thing they needed was him being able to lead someone back into the village.
Without actually waiting for Rin's reply, something he was sure she'd pay him back for later, Segare turned and followed after Luo, until the two stopped far enough away not to be easily heard, but close enough to still observe the group. "You saw him arrive?" Segare's eyes widened a bit at Luo's opening statement. That would make things easier. Luo was plenty observant enough to track down the ones who brought the kid in. "I found him hung by the ankles outside the council tent, nobody there to say who he was or why he'd been strapped up." the man frowned as he gave that explanation. That fact alone meant the ones responsible knew they were in the wrong, but went ahead with it anyways.
Shaking his head, Segare decided to start over, in the order that would make the most sense. "Apparently some of our recruiters have decided kidnapping is a viable recruitment method. I ran into Shen by the supply shed, and he apparently brought two kids back with him, then lost them in the woods. He described one as really sneaky, the other as a loudmouth grifter. I came looking for you to tell you about them, and found Kensei there, hanging in the council tent." Segare paused, waving his hand towards the boy just to accent his point.
"According to him," Segare continued, turning his body to watch the child he was talking about as well as Luo. "Two men grabbed him, saying something about a bloodline, and carried him off. He was knocked out, and woke up on the way here. If he's telling the truth, he has no idea where he is or why he's here. Kid called me a 'Daimyo's Dog'." Segare chuckled at that, still finding that particular one of the kid's lines more amusing than anything else. But after a mere moment of mirth he sobered again, remembering the next bit of information.
"The kid is an Uchiha, Luo. Whoever grabbed him took him from the Uchiha camps, which means we're guilty now of bloodline theft." As little as he personally cared for or about the Uchiha clan, bloodline theft itself was a serious problem. If the Uchiha knew who took the kid, they could spread that information to the other clans and bloodline holders. That in turn would sour the village's reputation, leaving them distrusted by almost all of the major clans at best, and an enemy at worst. They might survive an angry Uchiha clan, but the village wouldn't survive if all the bloodlines turned on them.

Timmy's face blanked as the girl completely ignored his existance. Did she not hear me? He frowned and swatted the air, as if to fend of the stupid idea. Noone hears me. As the girl walked off, Timmy turned to the other people and scratched his head. "Did she just... Or was I not being..." Unable to form a proper sentence he turned back towards the girl. "I must be a ghost". While he was contemplating his move, Timmy completely failed to hear Shinji talk to him. The realization shook his very being. He had just been in a conversation, so he wasnt dead untill seconds ago. He knew better than to look for his own body and shove himself back in. Thats how you get hunted by death waffles. He shivered at the thought.
Timmy stood there silent, thinking, as two more people approached the group. A slightly older man and a kid about Shikaku's age. A very very rich older man, with a very pretty sword. Timmy wiped the drool from his lip. The rich man said something to Rin, much to Timmy's surprise he was talking to the little girl. However that was no longer important to the deceased swindler. Timmy needed to think of a way to scam the living. Wait, I'm a ghost. Why covet what I could have? An evil grin crossed Timmy's face as he rubbed his hands together. How do i posess someone?Segare had already walked off to talk to Luo a fair distance away, and had said a fair bit before Timmy thought of an answer. maybe I just jump into him? seemed as good a method as any. The death waffles didnt seem to care about posessions, just trying to cram oneself into their old body. Timmy sprinted. Timmy jumped. Then Timmy dove headfirst into the chest of the rich man with the golden sword.

Kensei shuffled towards Rin and studied her a bit. He cleared his throat before talking. "Sup....I'm Kensei." He grinned while leaning against a bamboo tree. "So what's a girl like you doing in a place like this?" The man could have assigned anybody to watch Kensei or even bring Kensei along with him. But why would he have some random girl watch him. Kensei didn't really like the situation he was in right now and would rather be at home right now playing in the woods with the other Uchiha Kids. Of course that's what got him in the situation in the first place.
๑๑๑๑Nodding towards Segare's first statement, Luo continued listening as the man revealed where he'd found him. Luo's guess was the chuunin left him there to be dealt with for some reason, instead of stopping to talk to Luo as he passed. He grew slightly annoyed, remembering the face of the shinobi who brought the boy in, deciding he'd have a talk with him later. As explained, some of the recruiters were taking it upon themselves to find and take people they saw fit. His lips pursed at hearing of this, growing even more annoyed. They could not be branded as kidnappers, especially this early in their settling stage. It was something that had to be rectified immediately.
At the mention of two boys and their descriptions, Luo took a glance over at Timmy. "Figures," he said inwardly as he stared at the boy with the tattered clothes. He thought himself too paranoid to assume the boy was not alone, but the answer was given to him right then and there. It proved to him it payed to be a little paranoid sometimes. It was then that the newcomer's name was revealed, Kensei. Turning his attention now to the boy as Segare's conversation turned more towards the matter of hand, Luo listened intently as the story of how he got here unfolded.
As the story went on, Luo's jaw clenched, his patience with the men who brought him here wearing thin. Furthermore, the kid thought they were apart of the Daimyo's military, something else that did not bode well. Luo was almost at a loss for words, he'd never experienced shinobi acting out of line like this when it came to instruction. Their jobs were simple, there tasks even easier, so it perplexed Luo why some of the recruitment teams were taking things too far. He didn't want people being harassed or bullied into joining their cause, it was to be by choice and choice alone. If it wasn't done that way, the whole premise fell apart right from the start. He'd have to call for a recruiter line-up and have Kensei pick the pair out for him. What he planned to do with them however, Luo himself was unsure of.
Then came the second portion of the child's story, Luo's eyes widening as his teeth clenched together behind pressed lips, fists forming in each hand involuntarily. This was why the boy looked oddly familiar to Luo, and just as well this was a situation that had just brought about some serious concern on Luo's part. The bit about bloodline theft was almost muffled compared to the rampant multiple thoughts that began to run through Luo's head, as well as an inborn disdain for the clan on a whole. His own clan history was little known to those who couldn't afford to hire them, and even less so to their enemies. It was no surprise that Segare may not have known that his clan's birth was directly related to the Uchiha. Despite the situation however, Luo felt it necessary still to keep what he was capable of a secret for the time being.
It took Luo longer than usual to respond, a sigh escaping his lips at last as his arms tensed less and he opened his palms once more. Inhaling deeply once more, he exhaled again in the same manner, this time his whole body regaining most of its usual composure. There was a reason Luo meditated so avidly, and this was one of them. It wasn't rare for an Ushio's cluttered mind to work against them if they didn't know how to sort it out, or calm it down. Luo worked on it every morning however, meditating with the sunrise.
Folding his arms across his chest, Luo replied at last, one full minute having passed in silence as his eyes buried deep into Segare. "Our two clans have an intertwined history, one that goes back to the first generation of Ushio. For nine years now, we have held a no hostilities pact with each other that is shaky at best. If word got out that a recruitment process was being performed under the direction of Hideki Ushio's grandson, and that this Uchiha was kidnapped by the very same recruitment team, that pact will break the moment it reaches the ears of the Uchiha clan head. They will send a task force our way for the boy and our heads, as well as attack my home without hesitation. This situation is more serious than bloodline theft."
Luo sighed after a moment of silence, Looking over at the boy once more. Darting his eyes back Luo continued. "For now he cannot know my family name. He'd recognize it the moment it came about without fail. I'd rather return him myself with the two men who kidnapped him, let them do whatever they will with them. Whoever was stupid enough to kidnap an Uchiha child deserves to be dealt with by them. It'll be seen as a gesture of good faith from an Ushio, and it will offer me the opportunity to explain having nothing to do with it. As long as we keep him safe and treat him well for the time being, Kensei's word will be our saving grace. If I'm lucky, I could use the favor to ask them to send an ambassador to teach Katon. Unless of course their arrogant clan head decides to attempt to take me captive as well."
The last thing Luo said was not out of the realm of possibility from what his grandfather had said of the man. Still, with their pact despite its shaky ground, Luo doubted the man would risk a war with a clan bred to go toe-to-toe with them in every aspect. Truth be told however, Luo had always wanted to cross swords with an Uchiha, if only to compare. He contemplated requesting an exhibition match with one of them should he actually have to deliver the boy.
Thinking to himself about what needed to be done about this situation, and just as well what he wanted to do, Luo found his mind somewhat more occupied than usual, processing it as best as he could as he looked from Segare towards the sounds of feet hitting dirt at a quickened pace. Turning his head fully to face the noise, Luo found Timmy to be running at Segare. Instinctively, Luo stepped back once, avoiding contact at all costs. He wondered what the kid was playing at, noting in that instant how tall he was. In fact, Luo was sure the guy might've dwarfed him by an inch or so.
Shikaku held his breath, fighting to keep from panicking and drawing attention to himself as Timmy made himself the center of attention in the clearing. He was actually rather surprised when the young man who appeared to be the leader accepted the boy's claims to belong, and would have relaxed if he didn't suspect the man was hiding more than he showed. The man's quick glance into the forest had Shikaku ducking behind a tree, holding his breath once more as his senses strained to see if he'd been caught.
Luckily, nobody came after him, so Shikaku relaxed and, changing position just to be sure, returned to watching the clearing. Apparently the people, who he was almost certain now were ninja, were planning some sort of hunting trip, and they seemed to have recruited Timmy. He wasn't sure whether to be happy of that or not. On the one hand, it'd get him out of the clearing so they could run for it. On the other hand, they might be trying to get rid of him. Permanently. What better way to deal with a nosy stranger than to lead them off into the woods? And then of course there was the fact that Timmy looked quite comfortable, like he truly considered himself part of the group already. If he didn't want to leave, that would complicate things a lot.
Shikaku froze up again, as not more than three feet from him the brush parted and a man dragged a kick, bound gagged and kicking, past. The kid looked no older than himself, though a fair bit taller. He didn't relax until the duo had gone right past the group inside and disappeared. That was way too close. And it only confirmed his fears. This was definitely the place that ninja had been dragging them to, they were kidnapping more kids, and Timmy was in there with them. He didn't know what they were doing with the kids, but he wanted nothing to do with it. But before he could get away, he had to save Timmy.
Moving again, Shikaku made his way to a particularly thick clump of bamboo where he could get closer to the people talking, still unseen, and settled into it to watch. He'd need an opportunity, sometime when everyone had their backs to Timmy preferably, so that he could get to him and get him out unnoticed. Which meant he needed a miracle, because Timmy's one and only rule was that you do not ignore Timmy. It'd blown enough stealth jobs that Shikaku refused to share a hiding spot with Timmy anymore.
After a short length of time, where the group just seemed to talk among themselves about nothing important, another man, older than any of the rest of the group, entered the area, following the same kid he'd seen earlier, now untied and walking on his own. But Shikaku didn't miss the sword in the man's hand, even though the man was quick to put it away when he walking into the view of everyone else. Moments later, Shikaku found himself fighting back panic again as both men turned and walked straight towards him, stopping mere inches away as Shikaku shrank into the bamboo, praying that he wouldn't be noticed. There was nothing he could do now but stay as still as possible and hope they didn't notice him. It always worked on the city guards, but, these were ninja.
The conversation that followed though, Shikaku had to admit was interesting. These were definitely the leaders of the group, that much was obvious from how they spoke. And according to them, the kidnappings were never meant to happen. More worrying though, they knew about him and Timmy. The one apparently called Luo's quick glance towards the boy in question when they were mentioned was enough to confirm that he at least suspected them, which meant they would be looking for him soon. He had to get away...
He only barely listened to the rest of the conversation, he didn't know what a bloodline was, much less the implications of stealing one, and he didn't know anything about clan politics to have an opinion on the Ushio's family troubles. Instead he started looking around him, trying to find a way he could slip away. From what these two were saying the kidnapping had been a mistake, and people were meant to be here by choice, which explained why Timmy hadn't been tied up again, but he wasn't sure he wanted to expose himself yet. he certainly didn't want to be caught here, listening to an obviously private conversation.
His panic only resurfaced though, stronger than ever as he distinctly heard Timmy speak. "I must be a ghost." He didn't know what brought that statement on, but nothing good had ever followed Timmy making such a claim. Sure enough, he looked up, fixing his eyes on Timmy only to see him charge towards the older man with the sword. The sword he now noticed had a solid gold hilt. It was with horror that his mind cycled through and realized what Timmy was about to do, and it was sheer panic that made him shout. "Timmy, no!" The words were out before he could stop himself, and he knew in an instant that it was over. He was caught, and now he was probably going to die. he'd heard too much, and they would have to kill him. Gasping at that realization, he twisted around and onto his feet, diving further into the brush to try and start running. Why did he choose such a thick clump? He almost forgot about Timmy entirely in his need to flee, but at this point was only able to pray he could run too.
AHHHHHH!!!!!! SHinji would yell out as is irritation and un-comfort with the strangers would turn into anger. Much like cryshal did to to him, Timmy completely ignored his question not only that but began to charge towards the two counsel members. unaware of the situation or of there intent Shinji would draw his katana and erupt forth moving as fast as he could behind the boy who was now air born headed for segane. he would bump into and knock over the other white haired boy who was crying in his chase after Timmy.Tho Shinji was normally a logical being but his rage and anger was something that easily made him loose cannon. tho his blade was drawn he had no intention of striking the boy once he cough up to him only to symbolize that he would not hesitate to strike him down if he continued. the sound of an unfamiliar voice would ring threw his ears as well coming from the bushes behind luo and segane sama. he would be sure to check and take note of this as well, that is after he dealt with Timmy.

Segare waited as Luo went fully silent, obviously thinking hard about what had been said. From his reactions, he had a different perspective on the story than Segare did, understandable really, since he was a lot more familiar with clan politics than Segare was. When Luo finally started speaking, he surprised the man with the information he gave. He wasn't sure he quite agreed that the situation was more serious than bloodline theft, considering how harshly he knew that to be treated, but it certainly added to the problem, especially if outside parties were affected by this blunder.
Segare nodded agreement to Luo's plan for dealing with the mess. Those men had acted on their own without authorization and committed a serious crime, in more ways than one. He frowned slightly at the assertion they should treat the kid well though. Not that he didn't agree with treating kids well, more because he'd already violated that a bit. And even more so because treating him too well could easily lead to further problems. He was an Uchiha after all.
"Just be careful when you go. We don't want to lose you to the walking egos." Segare asserted, reaching forwards with the intent to lay his hand on the younger man's shoulder in a reassuring gesture of camaraderie, only to frown as the man backed away sharply. Turning, he found the reason Luo had moved, as one of the boys from the gathering charged at him, diving on him in a flying tackle. He had only a moment to realize the boy was several inches taller than himself as he stepped back instinctively, raising his arms to catch the boy. "Well you're an affectionate one." the man laughed once he got his footing stable again, pushing back a bit to get the boy back on his own feet before releasing him.
He was about to ask why he'd felt the need to tackle hug a complete stranger, when he heard a shout from, directly behind him. Before he could turn to see what that was about though, he noticed another boy charging towards him, this one with a sword drawn and evidently with the intent of attacking the taller one from behind. In a flash, Segare pushed the first boy to the side with one hand, drawing his own blade with the other and lurching forwards so that he was on the other side of the strange lad. Swinging his sword, he clashed with the attacker's sword, stopping it and then continuing, pushing the sword back and down, applying pressure with his entire body. As he pushed on the sword, his free arm came up as well to grab hold of the boy's throat, and he pushed there as well, driving the boy down to the ground and onto his back. With the boy down, he settled a knee onto his chest, not releasing the kid's neck or letting up the pressure from his blade holding the other's sword to the ground.
"Three words." The man snapped, glaring into the child's eyes. "You have three words to explain why you just charged me with a sword. Make them count." he ordered, the pressure he was still applying to the boy enough to tell him he wasn't getting up until Segare had his answers.

Hyashi bowed quickly, seeing Luo was fairly distracted while he was speaking to him. Luo seemed antsy, maybe he didn't like crowds? It didn't matter much though. "Thank you Luo sir." He said confidently now that he'd been given orders. He bowed one more time to Luo before excusing himself by backing away while bowed and then turning quickly to find his teammates. Rin and Timmy. One was the boy who had walked up yelling about things. Hyashi hadn't met him yet, and wasn't entirely sure who he was supposed to be aside from... Timmy. Then there was Rin, the bouncy young girl. She was a Shinobi? She was small, but then again, with the murmurs Hyashi had heard, size wasn't really an important point since he heard whispers of people controlling the elements.
He walked toward the young girl, as Timmy had wandered over to Cryshal. "Hey that's not Rin." Hyashi said as Timmy seemed to pause waiting for an answer from Cryshal. While Hyashi was watching, Timmy didn't seem that stealthy. He'd wandered in screaming and yelling, but then again so had Hyashi just a moment ago. Hyashi wasn't overly stealthy, since he dressed in all white. He had some other clothes, but they were more pajamas and didn't fit quite right. Rin was bouncy, but other than that, Hyashi hadn't seen much of her. He sighed and straightened his back, sighing. He placed on hand on his blade, caressing the end of the handle lightly. He might have to use it to actually kill something. He didn't like the idea of using his blade to kill, it seemed like it would dirty it. "Can you tell me about your abilities?"Hyashi asked Rin. He looked back to Timmy, and found him running back quickly darting past Hyashi. "Hey, watch it." He said as Timmy ran past him. "Get back here, we're going to-" He said, getting hit in the back as he turned around. The boy from before, Shinji, had run into him after yelling or something. Hyashi went down quickly, picking his head up, a scowl crossing it. What he saw was inspiring though. Luo had dodged slightly, along with some other kid, and now Segare had caught him, grabbed him, and grappled him to the ground pinning him. Hyashi stood, his scowl not disappearing.
"What will Segare do?" Hyashi asked Rin, though he didn't know Rin, he assumed she'd already met Segare, but at the moment, he didn't really care if she hadn't. He wanted someone else to tell him Segare would punish Shinji. And if it wasn't good enough punishment, Hyashi would enjoy providing the punishment. Looking himself over at the notice of the sword, Hyashi noted that his entire right sleeve was missing. Hyashi's jaw dropped. The inside of this Yukata was probably one of the most expensive fabrics, if not THE most expensive fabric, in the entire village. This was his only one he'd brought, since they were so cost heavy, he'd let his mother sell the rest, since he was leaving. Hyashi looked at the ground to see the shreds of cloth hugging the ground, and then floating away on a light breeze. He looked from his arm, to Shinji, to the fabric, and back to Shinji. He just dropped his arms to his side and remembered Luo's words. "Make yourself presentable." He muttered, letting out a sigh. His eyes weren't as vibrant as they were before, if for only an instant, he didn't seem joyful or kind. Then he blinked and it was gone.
"...Protecting..... the...... counsel...." Shinji would mutter while looking segare into his eyes. regardless of how angry he was the look in that mans eyes made him freeze up with unbelievable amount of fear .He felt that his actions where justified but decided not to try and speak on it unless asked, besides it would take a lot more than three words to explain such actions. His anger problem is another reason why he was never very good when it came to dealing with groups of people, In fact he was not use to dealing with anybody who he was not forced to respect due to the honor system. The boys disrespect combined with his irritation brought out some of Shinji true nature but it was quickly suppressed. After looking into segare's eyes he took a second to close his eyes and meditate right there on the ground loosening the grip on his katana letting his left arm go limp and calming himself down. it didn't take long for him to return to his regular state and realize that he was in big trouble. he would show that he was no longer aggressive with the hope that segare would let him get up and fully explain but more than likely an explanation would not save him. the amount of fear that went threw his body as he locked eyes with that man was unreal. hs nerves at this point where completly and utterly scrambled but he would try to speak normally if given toe chance to.
Rin watched the new member calmly as he... stampeded into the clearing. While he seemed to be fairly well practiced at acting, it was clear he had no idea where he was. She watched, unimpressed as he introduced himself to the group. When Luo finally spoke up, it was to set teams. Rin was to work with Timmy, and The two lovebirds were supposed to work together. Rin wasnt sure, but Luo seemed quite suspicios of something. She didnt get it, with all the people going through the forest it was actually safer than normal. Besides the kid seemed to stupid to be up to anything. Not unless he was a legendary actor. Rin began to approach Timmy, but instead Timmy turned towards Cryshal instead. She stepped back again, giggling slightly. Moron. Then it seemed several things happened at once. Segare and a boy approached from the council tent, but before she could see what was up the boy in white began talking with her. "Umm I suppose i can use a bow. Not really good at much else yet."
She attempted a shy giggle but was cut off by Segare, it seemed there was a new person. One who he wanted her to keep a close eye on. It must have been important for him to bother and single her out like that. She turned toward the new boy and was about to say something but he spoke first. Is he really using that line? is he... flirting? or is it a legitimate question? Rin cocked her head to the side before answering. "I'm playing 'Ninja' what are you doing here?" she didnt bother hiding her sarcasm. Not that it mattered. He wouldnt get a chance to respond before Rin stopped listening altogether. Instead her head followed Timmy, the loudmouthed moron, as he sprinted head on towards Segare and Luo. Perhaps he really was here for some hidden purpose? However he was unarmed and if Luo and Segare couldnt handle him they didnt deserve to be saved. Surprisngly enough, Luo merely stepped aside and Segare caught him without so much as a scowl. The boy who followed got... a harsher treatment. Shinji had followed him, with a drawn sword. The ease at which Segare stopped the two attacks made it clear that they were not assassins or anything more than students who were complete imbeciles. Rin's expression never changed, it didnt need to. She wasnt one to shout, or throw punches when angry. She had invested a lot into this village, more than even Segare or Luo knew. These kids were making a complete joke of the whole thing. She would teach them a lesson they would not forget, but not now. Segare would be enough to handle those two.

"Protecting the council?" Segare repeated the boy's answer with obvious disbelief. "Do you see a danger here that I don't? Do you think you're better equipped to deal with a danger than the council?" the man continued, holding his eyes on the boy, but reducing from an outright glare to blatant condescension. "I don't believe you." he added. Shifting his position and releasing the boy's throat, Segare stood up, his left foot firmly placed atop the boy's blade, and the tip of his own blade resting gently but firmly on the boy's chest.
"Stand up." the man ordered, not budging his sword an inch. The boy would have to crawl backwards until he was out from under the blade before he could stand. "Stand up, and try again. And this time, don't lie to me." Segare may have been paying more attention to Luo than to the kids when the first boy ran at him, but that didn't mean he was clueless. He'd seen Shinji approach the first boy, only to be ignored. That he'd then drawn his sword to charge the lad made it clear that whatever his intentions, they were not for anyone's benefit but his own. It also said that the boy had evident anger issues, and a tendency to fly off the handle. Not something Segare looked forward to dealing with in a subordinate. Hopefully that could be worked out of him, because otherwise, he would have a very short career.
๑๑๑๑As Luo watched the boy attempt to hug Segare by the looks of it, Luo caught the glint of steel from the corner of his eyes. Turning his attention towards it, he noticed Shinji now charging behind Timmy. It was certainly out of place, however Luo's attention was quickly pulled away from a shout that came from his right. Deciding Segare had everything under control, Luo turned on the balls of his feet and gave chase, jumping onto the bamboo poles rather than going through them. He watched for a moment, spotting the child whose voice he heard, white hair bobbing as he bolted through the brush. Sighing to himself, he jumped forward, planting each foot on a pole one after the other as he decided to simply cut the boy off.
It didn't take the young man long to catch up to the boy, planting his right hand on a pole in front of him in order to perform a back-hand spring. Flipping over the boy, he cast a shadow above before landing fifteen feet ahead of the boy in the brush. He decided against drawing a weapon projectile or otherwise, knowing full well this was probably the boy Shen had lost along with Timmy. Folding his arms across his chest, Luo waited to speak until the boy was in front of him. His stare was cold, his expression as blank as usual unbeknownst to the boy. His lips parted as he spoke, muttering as usual. "It's rude to spy on people, dangerous too."
Shikaku breathed a sigh of relief as he broke free of the bamboo without being caught, but didn't stop to wait either. He'd screwed up, bad, and they'd be coming after him. Instead, Shikaku took off running deeper into the forest, ducking under and around the various obstacles in his way. Never jumping. Jumping slowed you down, so his feet never left the ground for more than a fraction of a second. He knew he should change directions, try to divert the trail, throw off his pursuers, but for one problem. He couldn't hear anyone behind him. Without knowing where his chaser was, he couldn't risk turning, or he might run right into them. So he continued on straight, until he heard a sound not from behind, but above, and a shadow passed over him.
Shikaku skidded to a stop, gasping in breaths as a man dropped directly into his path. One of the two he'd accidentally listened in on. The ones he assumed to be the leaders, and thus probably the strongest in the village. "No!" the boy breathed out, twisting on his heel and darting to the right even as the man's low speech practically echoed in his ears. It was dangerous to spy. He was going to kill him, for something Shikaku hadn't even meant to do! Deep down he knew it was dangerous, but Shikaku put on even more speed, dashing through the brush, and in his panic forgetting not to jump as he started leaping over anything he couldn't go under. The hopelessness of his flight pounded in the back of his mind, the man was far stronger than him, far faster, he wouldn't escape, but he had to try.
Landing beside a large bush, Shikaku went to leap forward again, but his foot caught in the bush, tripping him up. Body moving on automatic, he scrambled forward, trying to move forward as fast as he could even as he tried to regain his feet and effectively doing neither. In his scrambling, he managed to get his leg caught in the bush's roots, and as he realized he couldn't move his eyes widened as sense slowly worked it's way back into his mind, pushing away the panic just enough to know, it was over. Rolling over as much as he could without damaging his leg, he faced up and behind him, expecting his pursuer to appear at any moment. "I didn't mean to! Don't kill me!" he blurted out, yelling in the hopes that the ninja would have mercy on him. His plea made, the boy lay as still as he could, gasping in breaths to try and slow his pounding heart even as his wide eyes scanned the area for his impending death. Scared as he was, he wanted to see it come, not have it come with his back turned or eyes closed. Somehow, that made it better.
The fact that the man flat out didn't believe him made him freeze up underneath the tip of his blade. He wasn't sure what to say at this point but h knew that before he did anything he would have to at least try and pull himself together. it took him a few seconds to begin moving his arms and stop shaking, he would slowly push himself upward until his feet where clear of the tip of the blade before he would slowly rise to his feet, leaning forward before pushing his legs up and adjusting his hands so that he could stabilize himself. Upon standing upright he would take a deep breath and hold his head down before closing his eyes for a second. before slowly raising his head and trying to remain as calm as possible while holding his hand down by his side. "Sir I.....I honestly was trying to....." Shinji would find himself freezing up once again when trying to look into the eyes of the segare and would have to start over again "Sir he was charging at you and I.....My anger problem.....He was.....He...." There was nothing he could say to truly justify his actions n any way shape or forum. he had embarrassed himself and very well may have ended any chances of making a new life for himself in this village all because he couldn't control his anger. tho he had not intention of attacking , tho he was not trying to bring any harm to the council There was nothing he could say. The man that stood before him was 10 times if not 20 time more skilled than he was, tho he was only trying to help there was no help needed and to make things worse he was no in a very serious situation that he could not get out of. He had went from keeping to himself to and a low profile to disgracing his self. and now he would have to bring his self even lower. Almost instantly Shinji would fall back to the ground onto his knees and bow his head "I truly meant to do nothing but help you sir, Tho I over reacted as well as made a huge foolish mistake I take fool responsibility for my actions. and tho my anger is what caused me to give chase to the boy I....I was trying to stop him from reaching you...I was only going to scare him...Please sir you must believe me.....Please....I take full responsibility for my actions....trying to save you...i cant even save my self....I....I..."Shinji would continue to put his head back down and bite his tong to prevent himself from rambling on. No matter hat he said tho it was the truth there was nothing he could say. he would once again slowly rise to his feet and keep his head down and begin shaking once again out of fear not only for his life but the fear of losing his spot in the place that he planned to call home because of his problem.
