One prolonged and very tough battle later Chalcedony was lifting his hand, calling it quits. He was painted with various blue marks that were a result of the archers dye tipped arrows. Looking at them he knew that they were a bit obvious, meaning he would likely need to rinse off before going to visit with Keilana and the boys or else they would all be well aware of what he and Jacinthus were up to, "Phew, that was a tough one. Thanks for the duel though." He was sure that he was catching up with him slowly but surely. Soon enough he was going to be able to beat the archer, he could feel it! He just had to keep up his training.

Giving Jacinthus a smile Chalcedony set to brushing himself off, hoping to get the blue dye to come off at least to a degree though all he manages to do was get it all over his hands as well. It was something that had Jacinthus laughing making him wonder if that was the real point of the dye, to annoy people. He wouldn't put it passed the guy.

"Don't worry about it, it will come off eventually." Jacinthus said in a smug manner, rather liking that he had painted the guy blue yet again. The only problem, at least in Jacin's mind, was that he had actually been bit a couple times by the shield barer, not to mention that he'd had a slip up that caused him to injure himself. He was going to have to train harder to make sure that he didn't have such slips ups the next time the two of them decided that a training session was in order. The day this guy beat him wasn't far off if he let himself slip even a little bit, "Are you going to head off then? I doubt you want to come visiting when you are dyed blue, they will know that I beat you again if you show up like that." He sounded quite pleased with himself, something that had Chal rolling his eyes.

"No, not quite yet. I think I will get myself cleaned up and then I will stop by to check up on things." He said, glancing in the direction of where his sons were at. He hated leaving so soon, before he'd gotten a chance to see them, but he planned to be back once he cleaned up. A few more hours wouldn't hurt he supposed. With that in mind he put his shield on his back, turned on his heel, and headed toward where he knew the closest water source was located, "I'll be back later." He said, to Jacinthus as he went.

The archer gave a little sigh, "Yeah, yeah, I know. You don't have to remind me." He grumbled before he too was heading on his way, wanting to check up on the rest of the family, check their stores of food, then perhaps a hunt if there was a need for more meat. He wasn't about to slow down today just because he'd had an exhausting duel, there was no time for slacking off, not when the soldiers from Oba were still a looming threat.
