Denge gave a releaved sigh and a nervous chuckle. "Oh, you had me frightened." She gave a sheepish grin, before slowly laying down on the pile of leaves, eyes dancing about the cave, "It is beautiful, your cave. Everything his lovely here, no matter if it's the smallest detail or the most obvious thing. I think I may envy this land." She chuckled lightly, but it was inturupted by a yawn. "Thank you, ithi." She murmered sleepily.
(Hmm, how would you feel if denge gave birth in this rp?)

Ithi smiled and laid close to Denge, but nearer to the cave entrance. She found herself feeling protective over the female, maybe it was because she was in a fragile state, being pregnant and all. She didn't know why she felt she had to guard her but she was happy to do so. "Stay here Denge, if you love the lands that much stay here! You can stay in here with me if you want, saves you having to find your own den. There is plenty of room!" She smiled softly, it would be nice having some company and it wouldn't take too long to make another bed up of leaves.

Denge was in such a state or happiness and well being that it heart her heart, in a way. It was an intense tightening of her chest, something she wasn't famaliar with. Ithi was being so kind to her, showing her around and giving her a place to stay. She wasn't forcing any of these things upon Denge, and that was probably what got Denge the most, after spending so much time traveling with him.
She snuggled into her, purring with her eyes shut, "I think I will." She whispered, a small smile on her maw as she fell into much needed sleep.
A few hours later.....
Denge woke with a startling pain and gave a little groan, wondering why she hurt so much. Like a pressing, trying to force something or other. Her eyes fluttered open and she took a deep breath. "I...Ithi? Some.... something.. is w..wrong." She breathed out, not so much scared though. Something was gently taking over her mind, instinct. She somehow knew this was her time. "I... I'm... I think.." She was amazed that she knew that, and panting slightly as she tried to situate herself in a better position.

Ithi smiled at Denge as they fell asleep next to each other, such a loving feel, so sweet and nice and yes, Ithi was glad Denge was going to be staying with her.
Denge woke Ithi up with a start but Ithi realised quickly what was happening. "Denge, shh calm, breath slowly. Your cubs are coming, your acting the same as Rahima, she was calm though, breathed slowly. COme on, you can do it." She watched Denge, hoping that the young female could cope with the pregnancy, Ithi sure couldn't! The silver lioness was full of worry!

At first Denge was a little too panicked to listen to Ithi, but then she took a calm breath. Taking a few more of these breaths seemed to make things a little better, though the pains would come and stop, come and stop. She was very thankful that this was happening now, as opposed to sometime when she was wandering around, or the like.
Some time passed before she actually started to push, but it was a fairly easy birthing. Once the little cub came she squirmed and took the sack, bringing the cub to her and tearing it open. Immedietly she began to clean the little thing, releaved that it began to mewl and whine. It was okay! Once she was finished cleaning she placed it carefully toward her tummy, where it began to suckly.
A few more minutes went by, Denge was panting. "I... I don't think... any more.." She trailed off, shifting a little. Weird, how odd instinct was. Denge would have never guessed to clean the cub, or that it came out in an odd little sack, if she wasn't actually giving birth right then.
Her dark eyes flickered over the tiny being, and a small smile formed on her mug. A little girl, and she was so beautiful. Though the only thing that concerned Denge was the small dash of pink that was visable, even now, On the new cub's face.

As the cub was born Ithi rushed over to her and nuzzled Denge, "Well done, she is beautiful!" Ithi had mentioned about the cub being beautiful before actually seeing the cub and the pink was such an obvious colour. "Oh Denge.. please.. please say you weren't a victim of his..." Ithi had been one of those victims though she had been lucky enough not to fall pregnant but at the same time, this cub was beautiful. "I will help you with her, if you need it." Ithi felt in a way that she had to help look after the cub, that and she felt alot of care towards Denge.

As Denge heard Ithi panicked welled up inside, did she know Nyek? Well.. how many lions were about that had this lovely, salmon coloring? "I... He.." She shook her head, she didn't want to talk about it, not really.
"I will need the.. help though." She gave her friend a warm smile, purring. After a moment though she was yawning, tired out from the whole birthing. "I think I need.. more sleep.." She laughed slightly, curling a bit so that her little girl had better protection. "She will be called Nyunya." She whispered, still lulling back into sleep. Denge didn't know very much about the pride's history, she just liked this name very much.

Ithi had the answer she wanted and suddenly felt rather sympathetic for the femme. She also got the hint about not talking about it to her, that was fair enough, she would never speak again of her ordeal.
Ithi smiled at the name of the cub. She nodded about giving Denge the help that she wanted and as the femme fell asleep, Ithi walked to the entrance of the cave, checking there was no one around went back in and curled up close to Denge and the small cub and also swiftly fell asleep.
