It had never taken Gwyn very long to learn anything her mother had taught her. That's why her mother had said she was gifted. Gwyn had always waited hoping her mother would come home.

She didn't want to give them up. The memories were her's. It was all she had left of her mother, of Astrid, of her father.. But.. "You're not crazy. You're not alone. Join us, you can make a difference. Join us and all your questions will be answered."
Her arms wrapped around her sister, holding her while she cried. They wouldn't be going to the movies tonight. They wouldn't be going anywhere, but she would make sure Astrid had fun. That was her job. That was what big sisters were for.
She had to keep it together. Had to pretend like the entire world had ended, and nothing would ever be the same again. She bent over her sister's cast, drawing careful, curving lines. A heart, so simple, but it had made Astrid smile. The first in days.
Her hand slipped through the tablet, and it disappeared. Replaced by a warm, heavy weight on her hands, around her fingers. There briefly, just enough for her to see the outline of the weapons she now possessed. Then they were gone, and there were two gold bands circling her thumbs.
Things would get better. They had to get better. She had to believe that.
Her father was broken. Losing their mother had broken him.
Everyone was laughing, joking, having fun. Pie was everywhere.
She got the impression Rep didn't give out many compliments to women. It made it that much more important when he'd given one to her.
She was back to back to back with Gnat and Evan. Fellow Suns, friends. A tentacle came for Gnat, and Peyton pulled the other girl out of the way, taking the hit herself.
She grinned, and it was a almost feral. Crouching low, the tiny Sun spot darted forward, one thin arm cocked back.
She turned his head so he wasn't squishing his nose, then bent over his hand and drew a star. Inside she wrote, letters bubbly, "You Tried!"
She woke up in Lucky's arms, and a blade sank into her back and burst out her chest, impaling the the other hunter in front of her. She coughed blood, and everything started to go gray.
He left her hanging there, tears running down her cheeks.
I will always be here for you. I will always protect you. I promise.
Arms around her, a soft voice in her ear. "Why did you try to help me?" "I thought I had hurt you.."
"Can you blow smoke rings?" He tried, but they were wobbly and faint. For her amusement he did another trick, an inverted waterfall of smoke.[Personal Points: 74] Total Points: 872

"Do you remember your promise?" the voice asked. The great blade needed her memories as its guard, as its sheath.

Aiden forgot how he had met Koala May the first time. He forgot how he had caught the fragments for the first task asked of him. He forgot how his first battle against a creature ended. He forgot how many hits he made against the second creature he faced. He forgot what it felt like to hold the fan weapon in battle. I sliced my fan weapon at the creature over and over, adding kicks in to add to the damage to it even as I felt damage to myself. He forgot how hot it was in some parts of the fractured world. He forgot why Viae was always annoyed with him. Quote: Points: 86 Excalibur points: 918

She remembered everything, now, on this day in Fall. She remembered her name (Clerise Nicole Wilson), and she remembered his (Balthazar St. Sierre). That she was a hunter, clad in white and gold and red, with a small, burning hope to save the world with the reality not nearly so grand as the dream. That her past was a patchwork of flying through the air-- across a set of uneven bars, across a bigtop, and across a battle field, weapon in hand. That the love in her heart was wild and pure, freely given and rarely questioned. And, respectively, that the ones she held dear were in danger. (Clarice Sinclaire, Otto Graves, Eva Valentine, Sasha Belrose, Rep Reid, Dakota Rainstar) That the ones she did not were, too. (Mildred Kercher, Dakota Rainstar). (When asked if she would sacrifice herself, the answer had never even had a possibility to be anything but an emphatic yes. When asked if she wanted to write a letter, she had declined. She had never been very good at goodbyes.) That the gash in the sky was a sign that this was the end of times, and that her world was one not yet saved. (It was up to them. They could make a difference. She could.) That she had another pair of names (Licraesa, The Fool), and it was all too much to bear. ("I would follow you to the end of any earth," she had told Clarice, once, and she realised now that it was true. Clarice had been her Goddess, her beautiful Paranoia and Protection. She had been the Goddess and Clarice had been the disciple. It had not deviated so far from the truth, had it?) Clerise scrubbed at her eyes, at the tears that freely fell from them. She was a nothing and a no one, she was expendable, she was a Hunter, she was a girlfriend, she was a friend, she was a cousin. She was one, measly, insignificant fragment of a human being. (But she was still so, so selfish. She would remember her and nothing else, she would remember her because she had promised that she would never abandon her. She had promised to stay.) Her memories were the very least that she could give, even if she was a coward and started off with the easiest possible sacrifice. Clerise let go of the one time she had chosen to hate, and meant it. Everything in your life is a choice outside of your control. You are fifteen and refuse to acknowledge your responsibility, because you think you are an adult but you are still such a child. You are fed up and tired and you are so, so tired of trying to explain the things that are not there, that no one but you can see.
You are fifteen and it is the first day of tenth grade. You are fifteen and you were so, so sure that you would be free from her.
You have known her your whole life and she was a creepy terror when she was younger but now she's old enough to one up you in every way. She is old enough to look down her nose at you, she is old enough to talk circles around you, she is old enough to--
It is your first day of tenth grade, and you had assumed she would go to a different school.

Someone had killed Damsel, and she would make them PAY. She had come from the fog to serve the goddesses... Why did she have to leave? Why? Having gained a love of hunting after her last visit to the shrine, Wyng charged into battle. Dodging in, Gwyn slashed at the creature's torso.

Looking at her hands, she clenched them into fists. Eyes locking on the practice dummy as she crouched low then sprung forward. Driving her shoulder into it's hard side. Knocking it this way and that. She had to get stronger. If not for herself then at least so she could protect her friends. Meixiang Self Points: 30 POINTS: 988

They shoved a drawing into their elder brother’s hand. He had been sad for a while now, and they had thought a gift would make him feel better.
He smiles with one hand ruffling their hair, “This is beautiful. You really are gifted in drawing.”Total Points To Excalibur: 998

To be crowned as prom queen was, to her, a great honor, and something to be delighted about; she had never been voted for anything before!

For once, they were not the trapped. Instead, they had trapped the hunter, and although it came with sacrifices, it was worth it!
... Right?

She giggled when she managed to beat him at the arcade; this was his territory, and she hadn't expected to win but... A promise is a promise!
She led him over to the UFO machine, and pointed at the foxfire that would be her prize for besting him at a video game.

She had followed her mother to work for the past week since Bones was out of town and there was nobody to look after her, and had decided to draw her own dress designs at her mother's work table. It was her first design, but her mother had been so impressed that she had improved on the design to make it more feasible, and made it real.

The cage was too small, and she knew that her group mates felt as trapped and helpless as she was. However, they soon broke into song to keep their spirits up. She knew that they would not be abandoned; someone's going to come for them... Soon enough, they will escape...

She was terrified of and shocked by what she felt and saw, but also secretly intrigued and curious... And curiosity was a terrible thing.

She felt warmer than she had ever felt before, but not uncomfortably so. While frightened, she was also... Strangely ecstatic and excited to be here.
It didn't hurt one bit.Quote: Self Tally: 70 For Excalibur: 1078

He remembered. Exalibur-the one who fights to Protect. His saver. His King. His self. "At last. I can remember my promise to you." Said Rei, at last freed from Merlin's curse. To protect...no. To save everyone. To close The Tear. To keep this Reality. "Use my memories as you will, My King who Protects us all. My joy. My tears. My connection to others. My long, forgotten past. My daily life. My self." He placed his hand on the lock, which is now pulsating with light. The only thing that 'contained' him, a fog of memories. "I...can hear the Voices of the World? Now that's a great power to have, but..." "Yeah! First place! Take that, you-" "Remember that power is not everything. Without heart to direct, all will be destroyed before long." "Darn. I wish I could build my own PC like you, tech-geek." "You have a chance. We are working for a new cancer medicine. We just need a test subject." "Now raise your glass for this year's winner in Annual Match of Electronical-" "Don't let them know of this. I'm only doing this for you, Rei." Warm memories. The memory that he acquired in his past life. It was now drifting toward the blade. Excalibur. The light escapes from him. The Blessings. The Memories associated with it. He can feel he slowly become empty. Total Mayor Blessing = 7 = 70. Total Points: 1148
