Meme Pennywise Meme began to lick the plate clean. There was something about the sickly sweetness that she just couldn't get enough of. "Should I order more.." She mumbled to herself. She looked up as the unsure-footed monster sat down. "Hullo!" She said, "We're just breaking the ice!" "I can see that." Anne smiles and extends a hand to her. "I'm Anne, it's nice to meet you!" She sits back and messes with a pen.

Marceline LaGhede . "SO good! How's yours, Rorrim?" She smiled, but felt a little awkward when she realized she had used his full name. "I mean... Rory."
He turned to Marceline with a full mouth and a smile and nodded."Itf ghoodh!" He swallowed. "I mean, it's good! Thanks for the suggestion!"Rory looked deep into Marceline's stunning yellow eyes...deeper...swimming in their perfect citrine depths.
Then he realized he was staring at her in a way that could be construed as 'utterly creepy' and quickly turned away, stuffing two more bites awkwardly into his mouth. His shiny cheeks blushed red.

Lo and behold, the die-ner had Shad's favorite meal, chipped beef on toast!
Nom! Nom! Nom!
Shad dug into his favorite comfort food while his roomies, er, doomies, had at it with their chow as well. Shad then reached over and grabbed one of the die-ner's (in)famous breadstyx and just before he took a bite, he grinned.
He got a devlish idea.
Casually reaching back over his shoulder, he extended the breadstyx toward Rory's shoulder from behind.

The bells over the Die-ner door jingled as it swung open and in waked Glen da West and his good bluddy, Kai Merha. Glen had a long, colorful poster unrolled and was looking at it with a 'wicked' little grin. He shook his head and let out a low whistle.
"Boy Kai! These posters you designed for the Spellbound club are creeparific! I bet we recruit more members this year than ever before!"
"Hi guys! Draculaura popped up with her usual enthusiastic smile. "Here for lunch? We're pretty busy today!"
Glen looked from Kai to her and smiled.
"Well I wouldn't say no to a moancha milkshake! But I was wondering if we could put a couple of our Spellbound club posters up in here?"
"Well I dunno. The walls and notice board are already pretty full."
"Aw c'mon Draculaura. Pleeeeease?"
Insert those dangerous werecub eyes of Glen's and Draculara instantly melted with a girlish giggle.
"Oh how can I say no to those eyes? Go ahead and use the windows!"
"Great! Thanks! We'll get a little bite to eat after we do this thang! C'mon Kai!"

Doriana Taylor waopened the door to the Die-Ner slowly. When she entered, her heels clopped against the floor loudly. She walked up to the counter and looked at a to-go menu.
"Good afternoon! Hm, this place looks very very crowded... Mind if I take takeout? I don't have very much time to sit around and wait.
She sighed at her very mashed schedule. New stuff to finish, family time, and much more was all packed into one simple day for her. To add to that, she had to find time to do what she loved most- designing.
"A milkshake? That'll be delightful!"

Glen's infamous werecub eyes had struck again. Kai had to admit, he was really proud of how these posters for the Spellbound CCG club had turned out. Kai was in the club, of course, but to be perfectly honest, he had no idea how the game was actually played. He kept winning through a combination of sheer luck, pure luck, dumb luck and his opponents forfeiting when it took him 45+ minutes to decide which card to play. Each hand.
Glen started plastering posters on the windows near the front of the Die-ner, and Kai grabbed a few rolled copies to put on the windows near the rear. He spotted his bluddies Marceline, Dashner and a group of other monsters all clumped near the back.
"Aloha, Dashner! Aloha, Marcy! You must be taking a break from moving into the Doomitory, huh?" Kai gave his pals the 'hang ten' sign with his right hand while he held up a poster with his left. "What do you think of the poster? Turned out all right, huh?"

Kai Merha "Aloha, Dashner! Aloha, Marcy! You must be taking a break from moving into the Doomitory, huh?" Kai gave his pals the 'hang ten' sign with his right hand while he held up a poster with his left. "What do you think of the poster? Turned out all right, huh?" "Yo, Kai!" Dashner saluted, which was his usual greeting to his bro's. "Yeah, I finished unpacking, actually." He took another bite of steak before continuing. "Bro, I totally love that poster! I'm guessing you did the art for it, yes? I don't really know what the game is, though..."

"Spellbound." Kai replied, handing the poster over to Dashner. "And yeah, this is my own sort of idea. I took the theme from the Dark Smithster card and sort of carried it over to the color scheme of the Lady Luck Link card and...well, it's a pretty complicated process. But it's a Collectible Card Game that some of the kids at school are really into. Glen's even the Mashional's Spellbound champ, believe it or not."
He pointed over at Glen, who was jumping up and down trying to keep the top of the poster from flopping over him as he taped the bottom to a window.
"Glen's the club president. Of course. His Vice Pres is Toralei Stripe. We're trying to recruit new members for the school year before tournament time rolls around again. Hey, any of your friends here interested?"

Rory was halfway through his growled cheese sand-witch, when suddenly something started poking him in the back of the head. Rory quickly turned around to try to see what was attempting to murder him....but only saw some blurry dark shadow.
Huh. Maybe it was his imagination. Rory turned back around and picked up his sand-witch again.*poke* *poke*Rory dropped the sand-witch and whirled around. Only shadows....shadows....SHADEAUX."Stop that!" Rory warned the inky mass. "My head is already cracked enough!"Rory let out a groan. That was definitely NOT a cool thing to say in front of friends he wanted to impress.

Meme shook Anne's hand enthusiastically, happy as ever to meet new people.
"Nice to meetchya! I'm Meme," She beamed, still shaking the hand "Meme Pennywise!"
The door's bell chimed and she twisted around to see a bunch of growls entering the die-ner, jabbering and waving some spiffy posters around. They came over and chatted with a bird-guy she recollected bumping into at the maul.
"Ooh," Recognising the name on the poster, Meme spoke up "My friend collects those cards!" She looked up at the horned monster and guffawed "He's cute.." she thought she eyed up his mis-matched clothing. "Uh, yeah.." She continued, fighting back paranoia that she was staring too much "I don't think she plays, just collects them for the art. Like those Spookémon cards from a while back."

"Hey, would you mind bringing her a poster anyway? It'd be clawesome to meet new monsters who appreciate the art on the cards. That's why I dig them mostly anyways, myself." Kai reflected for a moment."Oh, I'm being kind of rude. I'm Kai. Nice to meet you." He offered a claw to shake.

Roswell took a bite of Scream puff! They were perfectly stellar! So sweet, so soft so chewy!
"Mmmm...."
It was his turn to make a introduction. Hadn't he already? Who doesn't know Xero Gravity!! The more famous rock star from the stars! .. Oh right Earthlings... He never could make it out this far to tour here. Then there was that situation that happened and it changed everything. He couldn't be that famous celestial celebrity anymore. It was for the best, and he'd gained something here that he'd never had before. Friends!!

"N-n-n-nice to m-m-m-meet you." Kai was thoroughly shaken by Meme's enthusiastic handshake. Ghoul had quite a grip! "You know, you guys can come to our first meeting, too. It's the second day of school, and we meet right in the Vampitorium, so it's easy to find. A couple of the club members are going to put on a demo. Not me, but some of the, uh, quicker members will."
Kai saw that Grey was blissing out on food. He was pretty sure that kid had a black hole in his stomach.
"Hey Grey, you want to give Spellbound a shot? Glen and I are doing the recruitment drive thing today."
