 Keone sat confused and bewildered. On the one hand he liked the leopardess and was curious to see the things she had told him about. He enjoyed the company and wanted to learn more. But on the other hand, this was his home, the jungle was all he had ever known and he was reluctant to leave it. Here he knew where he was and what to expect, but out there he knew nothing. Though she was right, it would have been inconsiderate to expect her to stay in the jungle.
"Can....I come back?"
His tail flicked, ears back against his head. He still wasn't sure he wanted to venture out of the green, but maybe it would be okay so long as he could return whenever he wanted.

An amusing leopard, naive, but amusing. He acted as if she controlled him, in a way. He was, so far, one of the most interesting creatures she'd seen besides Tatu. He was also the less arrogant male she'd met, if even arrogant at all.
"If you'd ever want too, I'd show you. "
Usualy, Karama woulden't offer help, but if he really had never left, he'd probably be scaredto alone, and one thing she knew about, was being scared. The way she talks makes it look far from after her parents were killed, and brothers chased away, that she'd been scared. But it was very far from that. A cub is afraid to walk out into the forest alone, and anyone is afraid to leave their home. If that were the case, one was glad to be of assistance.

"Whenever I want?"
Leaving his home and all that he had ever know, even for a short while, was a frightening prospect. For all he knew the jungle could vanish the moment he stepped out, or he could become hopelesslly lost and never find his way back. What if the jungle wouldn't let him come back, if it just put up wall and laughed at him as he tried to enter? But if the leopardess was able to leave and come back, surely he'd be able to as well? If he decided he didn't like it he could always change his mind and come back, right? Still a bit nervous, he finally stood and nodded.
"O...okay."

This was suprizing, but at the same time, it wasen't. Suprizing because he had agreed with getting out, but not because she did it all the time. Getting back to her paws, she moves a few steps forward, before looking back.
"Where do you wish to go first? "

He followed the leopardess, white paws nervously shuffling on the green floor with each step. His eyes darted from left to right uncertainly, head slightly ducked, ears and tail down. Silently he prayed to the jungle.
I'm just gonna go look around, please don't lock me out.
He paused for a step at her question before continuing forward. What did he want to see first? He tried to think, but as he had never been anywhere else, he had no idea what else was out there.
"What's outside the jungle?"

"There's the savannah, the forest all the way at the mistweavers lands, mountains, desert, thorn patches, and the graveyard. Pretty much all I know. "
There was probably more, but the leopardess haden't been all over. As they get closer to the edge of the jungle, where the tree's amount slowly decreases, and so does her pace. Where there were less trees, you had to be more carefull.
"The savvanah is best, if you ask me. Not too many trees, but lots of preybeast. "
Why would a lion attack a leopard if there was a hole heard of peybeast around?

With every step closer to the edge of the jungle, Keone's pace slowed. By now his tail was curled nerously around one leg and his head was ducked. Was he really sure he wanted to do this? But he was curious, interested in what these other places were like, he did want to see them, he just wished he could do it without leaving his home.
"The...sa...vanah...where's that?"
He didn't know what or where any of the places she mentioned were, so he simply latched onto the first thing she said. It was as good a place to start as any, right? And maybe it was close to the jungle and he wouldn't have to go far.

She stops after a while of walking, standing up on hind paws and leaning the front against a tree. Now, there were no more trees, and you'd need to be carefull. The tree she had her paws on, was one of the last. Orange orbs scan the area, nothing.
Taking a few steps out of the forests cover, she looks around once more, before continuing to walk calmly, nothing around, good.

So the savanah was right there, that was good. At least if the savanah was so close he could always look back and see the jungle, that would make it easier to go back.
The leopard cringed as they reached the jungle's edge, every step was slow and cautious. This was all new to him, and he was understandablly frightened. Green eyes searched the horizon and the green grass of the land ahead. So it was green out here too? Well that was a little reassuring.
Ever so cautiously he stepped out onto the grassy earth, nearly jumping in surprise as it tickled his paws. He wasn't so sure he liked that.

"Did you ever scare wildabeast herds? "
Now that was fun. Scaring daylights out of preybeast, very amusing. But the only reason to why she'd said that, was because she knew there was a herd not too far off. Not only did they make a nice meal, but they also offered a good amusement if one was bored enough. But she remembers that wildabeast don't usualy enter the jungle, leave alone if its a whole herd, so he probably hasen't.

Keone stopped a few steps out of the jungle, not quite sure he was ready to stray any further. Still, this wasn't so bad, at least there was green here, though it was weird and tickled his paws. His green eyes squited against the bright sun, it was a lot darker and cooler in the jungle.
"Wildebeast?"
He'd never heard anything in the jungle called that, what were they? He may have seen one from a distance while watching from the jungle's edge, but he'd never seen them up close nor had he ever heard them called anything.

She grins, so he didn't know? "Yes, I can show you, its fun. " Her tail gives a small swish, telling the male to follow before the leopard trots through the grass. It wasen't far, she knew it. Probably over a hill or two, and they weren't too far away, either. She pauses a few steps, looking back to make sure the male would follow, before continuing.

The small leopard hung back for a moment, his tail twitching nervously. Following her meant really leaving the jungle, something that still scared him. But she had said it was fun, and he wanted to learn right? And it was green out there too, green made him happy. Turning back toward the jungle, he closed his eyes and stuck a paw back through the trees to reassure himself that he could return.
His paw passed easily through the trees, just as it always add, it wasn't going to lock him out. Breathing a sigh of relief and then taking a deep breath, he followed after the leopardess. The grass felt weird against his paws that had until now only known the jungle floor. This would take some getting used to.

It wasen't long before they'd come upon a hill, and the leopardess quickened pace and easly got to the top, looking down. It was a rathe tall hill, not enough to be a mountain, but still big. She sits, tail curling around forepaws, there they were. It wasen't a large group, considering their species. About only three thousand or so, it was usualy much more than that. "Those, their fun to scare. " She motions down to the wildabeast, even if its a little obvious. She streches out and lais down, no use scaring the beasts before she wanted to.
There also seemed to be no other hunters around, she'd certainly see a lion or a hyena from this view, and cheetahs weren't common wildabeast hunters.
"Shall I show you? "

Keone's steps were slow and cautious at first. This was all so different for him and he had no idea what to expect, he was no longer in his home and he felt very vulnerable. Ears twitched nervously, trying to understand the new sounds around him. He couldn't hear the birds or the primates out here on the savanah. What he did hear was foreign and strange, the rustle of grass in the breeze, hoofbeats of preybeast, the insects were different here too. And what was that loud noise in the distance? He'd have thought it sounded like a trumpet if he knew what one of those was.
Realizing he was falling behind he quickly trotted to catch up with the leopardess. His greatest fear was becoming lost and never finding his way home, being as Karama was his only guide, he didn't dare lose sight of her. Reaching the top of the hill, his green eyes widened, mouth falling open in awe and surprise at the sight of the great wildebeast herd.
"There's so many."
