Tuck snorted and leaned down to give Heidi the kiss she silently asked for, never one to deny himself the pleasure. In that way he was something of a hedonistic soul, but Heidi didn't seem to mind and so Tuck kept on trailing slow, soft circles around her shoulder, every so often dipping down to brush along her neck to her collarbone.

Dessert. He knew what she wanted. Dessert was what he'd called the bit of nothing in the box back at the hotel. Yeah, he knew what she wanted.

But then again, he knew what he wanted, too.

He wanted her to tell him exactly what she wanted.

"I bet they serve dessert here. We can ask the gal when she rolls back around. You want some cake? You think they even serve cake here?"

She was trying so hard, but when his fingers brushed along her neck and collarbone she couldn't help but giggle, hiding her face against Tuck's neck and squeezing his hand.

His question made her look up, cheeks flushed and eyes wide. Damnit! Had she been too vague?! But..but he was the one who..!

"N-no. I want it back at the hotel," Heidi clarified quietly, clearing her throat and shaking her head. Cake sounded awesome but that wasn't what she was asking for. "Chocolate dessert." This was probably more embarrassing than the first time he'd tried to make her talk about intimacy out loud. This time they were in public and people could overhear what she was saying, especially as the waitress returned with their waters and wine, letting them know their food would be ready soon before leaving the couple to themselves.

He'd been about to take a sip of water before Heidi said chocolate dessert, but instead he pressed his lips into a line and did his best to hide the laughter that threatened. Chocolate dessert.

"I bet they got a nice room service menu at the hotel."

He reached to take the flute of his wineglass between forefinger and thumb, absolutely refusing to make eye-contact with Heidi for fear that he'd burst out laughing. She was too ******** perfect. Tuck took a hesitant sip of the wine. It tasted like a**, but hey, whatever.

"You think they got beer, too?"

Tuck wasn't going to relent. He wanted to know what Heidi was expecting, and innuendo wasn't going to fly. He was probably acting like a pig, but there was something exciting about the topic, and something doubtly exciting about discussing it in public - even if they were talking in hushed tones.

Not fair. Heidi pouted and watched Tuck take a sip of wine. This wasn't fair. She couldn't tell if he was doing this on purpose or not, they were legitimate questions.

"Um..I don't remember..." Heidi replied quietly, blushing and looking up at Tuck with pouted lips.

"I don't want the hotel's room service for dessert." It was probably wonderful, she'd most likely eventually order something, but for now it wasn't what she meant.

"So."

Tuck leaned over to kiss her shoulder again, lifting his pale eyes to meet Heidi's.

"What do you want?"

His voice was a whisper, and there was a wicked smile on his lips. Tuck knew he was being awful, and part of him felt bad.

A really small, small part.

Tuck brushed his fingers along the back of Heidi's neck.

"You want what's in that box?"

The kiss made her shiver.

Not fair. Not fair. Not fair.

She cleared her throat, watching Tuck as best as she could. Her face was feeling too hot, she squirmed in her seat and whined quietly. "Y-yes," She murmured, raising her shoulders and ducking her head like she had a shell to hide in.

He was doing this on purpose. She saw it now. Not fair.

"Stopplease," Heidi finally managed to squeak out, her voice small. It wasn't that she hated what he was doing to her, the problem was she liked it too much. It wasn't fair. He said she was the sexy one and yet he drove her crazy without even trying.

Tuck narrowed his eyes in concern before he cleared his throat and pulled away from Heidi. She was so completely different from what he was used to, and despite the fact that he'd confessed his love and she did the same... she was still Heidi and there were times it was difficult to remember that. She wasn't world-wise and well-traveled. Heidi wasn't like any other woman he'd ever been with - and that was something he loved about her.

Even still, he hadn't meant to make her uncomfortable if that's what he'd done, and he started to feel a little foolish as to how he'd been acting.

"Sorry."

He cleared his throat again and shot Heidi a look. Tuck offered her a slight smile, and he squeezed her hand - because he'd never let go of it, and had no plans to do so.

Tuck wondered if Heidi knew that had she been doing the exact same thing to him, he'd have been the one to beg off - or carry her out of the restaurant like a caveman.

He stopped and she almost regretted the decision. It was for the best. She needed to tell him to stop or they'd be rushing out of the hotel. Not that that was a bad thing but it was too much, she needed a chance to breathe and clear her head. Her breath escaped her in a soft laugh and she shook her head as Tuck apologized. "It's okay," she assured him with a smile, returning the squeeze to her hand with one of her own. "I love you, Tuck." She did. She really did. She almost felt bad for telling him to stop, perhaps if he'd looked more upset about it she'd feel worse.

"That's not fair, you know. That you're able to keep so calm." Heidi pouted again, scooting her chair as close as she could get it and guiding the hand she was holding to settle on her hip so his arm was around her, leaning toward him and carefully cuddling up beside her boyfriend.

"I love you."

Tuck kissed her cheek, and as he did so he used his free hand to press her palm against his chest. She'd undoubtedly feel the fierce beating against her skin.

"Not so calm," he chuckled softly. "Maybe I just hide it better, but I ain't calm."

Heidi blinked and looked down at Tuck's chest as he pressed her hand to it, rubbing it with her thumb and smiling helplessly when she did feel his heart pounding beneath her palm. Oh.

"You hide it well," she giggled and leaned in to kiss his neck just once before she heard the sound of plates being placed on their table. She sat up straight with some reluctance, clearing her throat a bit and giving the waitress a quiet thank you.

There were four large plates of food Heidi didn't even know the name of, but it all looked and smelled amazing. She meant it when she said she got food they could share, and Tuck had said he wanted to eat everything in the restaurant. Heidi wasn't sure she could eat everything but she could at least have a bit of everything on the table.

She looked proud. Heidi felt she'd done pretty well. "Is this enough~?"

"Not always."

Tuck grinned and lifted his wineglass once more, downing the rest of the stuff in one gulp. He then washed that down with the small glass of water he'd been brought, and when asked by a passing waiter if he wanted another, Tuck nodded - and then promptly turned his attention to the food.

Rubbing his hands together, Tuck started piling this and that onto a plate. He set it in front of Heidi before starting on his own.

"This looks amazing," he dug in, letting out a low groan of delight. "Gotta pace myself. I need to bring some back home. For later. And," he thanked the waiter and took a sip of water, "I gotta save room for dessert."

Cue horribly wicked grin, and then Tuck dove back into his food.

"Better than I ever do."

Heidi picked up her glass of water to get something cold into her system and attempt to calm herself down. Think cold things that weren't sexy, Heidi. The north pole--nope. Bad wording. Ice cream? No, that wasn't woring. Cold winds. Ice cold oceans. Freezing cold pools. Snowmen.

I gotta save room for dessert.

She blushed again and giggled involuntarily. Right. Yes. Dessert. "Somehow I don't think dessert will fill you up," Heidi said quietly with a shy smile, taking some food from the plates and putting it onto her own plate so she could start eating.

Tuck muttered something that might have sounded either like "might fill you up" or "gonna bust a gut" or "never gonna give you up" -- it was hard to tell, mostly because he was busy shoving food in his mouth like there was no tomorrow.

In between stealing food from Heidi's plate and sending his girlfriend covert glances from beneath his lashes, Tuck was in high spirits. The glass of wine he'd downed might have been helping too.

Burping softly behind his hand, Tuck grinned brightly at Heidi.

"Beach tomorrow?"
PostPosted: Thu Aug 01, 2013 5:01 pm

Heidi was trying really hard to figure out what Tuck just said but she gave up when she couldn't figure it out.

Whenever Tuck stole her food she protested with a whine and a swat to his hand, occasionally poking him with her fork with a playful unhappy noise and some kind of mild threat she had no intention of actually going through with. Despite his antics she was having fun, and she was happy.

She was so freakin' happy.

Heidi was stealing food off Tuck's plate while he was busy burping when he asked his question, smiling up at him and nodding her head.

She blatantly ate the food she had stolen from Tuck before she said anything.

"Beach tomorrow. We can do other stuff tomorrow too, if you want, but the beach was my main goal."

"Beach is good. I like the beach."

He playfully snapped his teeth at her when she pillaged food from his plate. Tuck had demolished most of the food he'd dished up, and he finally surfaced with a loud groan and a few satisfied pats of his hand against his belly.

"You gonna have to roll me out of here. I dunno if I left room for dessert."

He was totally lying there was always room for dessert.

Since he was finished with his meal, Tuck watched Heidi eat with a thoughtful look on his face.

"You wanna move all the way in with me?" He scratched his jaw. "I mean, .. well, shi-- shucks, I coulda probably phrased that better. What I mean to say is... this probably ain't the best dinner discussion, I don't know. You got me all crazy in the head, I think. So it's your fault."
