When will they be open? sweatdrop

I'll set the application for Anbu then, if that's alright. 3nodding

No time soon. I don't know if you can see it on your screen but on the front page it shows which ranks we have open. I'll save you time however, we're only accepting Jounin. The main purpose of these jounin will be to teach and train genin and chunnin characters, while still maintaining a fun and enjoyable role playing experience for themselves.

So the auto ranking system is currently for Jounin only? Wish I'd realized that beforehand.

Will you ever be accepting auto ranks for anything else?

When the guild expands more, most likely but at it's current state nothing else is needed.

Rank/ Village:: Jounin/ Kirigakure, Kumogakure if Kiri is full. [ I'm not quite sure because Kiri says 1/2. ]

Many things in life are cause and effect; one person does something and it has the potential to mess everything around them up. This rule applies to every living thing, from a small child to an elder, none are saved. So those in positions of great power make it their job to stop the everyday chaos that could create something more if it was left wild, because if that were to happen much of everything would probably cease to function in its normal way. Such examples are shown when riots happen. Sometimes they happen for no reason at all; just a slip in command can create them. Sometimes they are protests, uprisings, or even just a distraction. Either way, riots are trouble, and the only thing you can count on when they happen is the mass hysteria and damage they bring. Shops and home are destroyed; people are trampled or thrown to the ground. The most troubling thing, however, about riots, is that they are nearly impossible to control without violence or some kind of assertion of authority. For some this is hard; it’s not every day that you have to go up against your own people in order to stop something, and even some times this’ll force you to have to fight against the people that smile at you kindly as you walk down the street. This is the hardest, and most times, not even death deserts things such as riots. Death is permanent; death can happen anywhere.

The day was a cool one; it seemed nice enough when she had woken up that morning. It wasn’t hot at all even though the sky was clear, and she loved days like this; it made for a nice day to walk around. The village had been in a nice state of peace for a long time, there wasn’t much that she had to attend to, even as a jounin. So she spent her days doing small missions here and there, and then going off to do a hobby or train. She had to say it was sort of boring but she was enjoying the quietness of it; it almost seemed as if some sort of light, cool sheet had set itself over the village. The jounin wrapped her jacket closer around her body as her breath puffed out lightly in front of her, then set of forward through the town to get her daily mission. She was sure by now the Kage was starting to run out of the higher ranked missions, as none were really coming in, at least in the rate they had been. She rubbed her hands lightly together and then blew in to them, her warm breath heating her hands.

Something caught her attention from the corner of her eye, and she blinked before turning her body to face it completely. There were two men, quite bulky and muscled men, who were yelling at each other. Clarissa frowned, and then started walking towards the men. From what she could hear, they were fighting because the two of them had ordered the same thing. What a silly thing to fight over. She walked over and touched one of the men’s’ shoulder, opening her mouth to speak to the taller man. Suddenly her vision went black, and when she came to, her face hurt and she had a clear view of the sky above her since she was on her back. It took her a second to realize that the man had punched her in the face, and it took her a bit longer to realize those two men who had been yelling at each other had started a fight. Clarissa stumbled up and held her head, groaning a bit, before frowning and rushing to the two men. But it was too late, the men had started a riot, and soon the whole street was a mass of chaos and noise.

Clarissa looked around in shock, how had a simple fight erupted in to this!? She ducked down to dodge a café chair coming her way before standing back up, making a noise of exasperation. What was wrong with these people?! It seemed like they had all been possessed by some kind of crazy spirit! She quickly racked her brain, trying to figure out just how she would stop the riot. She wasn’t a very scary person herself; she couldn’t scare these people in to calming down. She bit her lip and cursed mentally inside her head, and then flinched as the sound of breaking glass met her ears. She rushed in to the middle of the huge group of rioters that had collected themselves in the middle of the street and tried whistling. This, of course, did not faze the angry people at all. She swore lightly, then took a deep breath, gathering as much air as she could, and then yelled. “HEY!!!!” The people in the street stopped and looked at her, seeming suddenly confused as to why this strange person was stopping their destruction.

She let out a small sigh of relief; the sudden noise seemed to have brought them to, which meant she could talk to them now. Maybe she could get them to calm down and go back to what they had been doing before this had all started. Her shoulders relaxed from the tense state they had been in and she rubbed her face lightly before beginning to speak. “Enough already!! What the heck do you think you’re doing, destroying the village like this?! We are in a time of peace; do you really want to be the people to break that?! What the heck are you even fighting about? Think about that for a second, can you even remember why you started this mass of drama in the first place?! I bet you can’t! Settle down and go home, before this gets out of hand.” The people looked at each other before dropping what they had been holding before and going back to their normal lives. However, when the crowd broke apart, there was a body lying in the street.

This confused Clarissa, why was someone just lying in the street like that? Then the glass shattered as she took all of the body in to sight. It was lying at an awkward angle, some of the arms and legs placed in positions that seemed so unnatural that she wondered how they had gotten there. She slowly walked over to the body and her heart stopped when she realized just who and what it was. It was a small child, an academy student, one she had seen before. She covered her mouth with her hand as tears welled in her eyes. Who could do something like this? She slowly picked up the twisted body of the child before rushing off to the hospital, maybe he could still be saved…

II Blow Meh II

Application File: Kumogakure; Position: Jounin

It was a quiet night in the Takamori household. It seemed almost as if this silence occurred every night, at this point. Once more, Hikaru Hiroyuki Takamori- now at the adolescent age of thirteen- was to remain and spend the night in the lonely haven that he recognized as his family's manor. Perhaps he would be forced to sleep alone, for, what seemed to be at least the one hundredth time. Even so, the situation could have been worse, at least. The boy could have had nothing to occupy himself with; perhaps there could have been bad weather, or some other simple fragment of life that may have been portrayed as a catastrophe- but, of course, none of these things applied. On the other hand, however, the situation could have been much better. It had been a while, now, since the two had begun taking temporary leaves, and had soon evolved to the extent that Hikaru's parents were gone for days, as well as nights, while their son was left to stay in the quiet confines and safety of the family's home. It was true, though; he got lonely, but was continuously told, time after time, that he wasn't allowed to leave, that it wasn't safe outside, or that it was better for him to remain at home. Although this wasn't what he wanted, Hikaru complied, day after day, and night after night, simply because it was his parents that were asking such of him.
The Takamori family was a wealthy one, which meant that, the good majority of the time, Hikaru was provided with everything that he could have wished for. Somehow, it seemed that, if he requested it, it would simply be given to him, no matter the price, and perhaps, no matter the possible difficulty that could stand in acquiring said object. This was never something that he questioned, as he came to believe that it was this way for everyone his age. Never did he know that things such as what his family gave him asked of a cost in having it be granted. Of course, he had little knowledge of what truly occurred for others similar to himself, but he allowed assumptions to be made. This, at least, meant that he was never truly bored while his parents were away. Even so, Hikaru began to feel that something was missing. Despite having plentiful amounts of games to amuse himself, food to eat, and far more, it simply wasn't the same without the two people in his life that, to himself, meant more than his life. Not only were his parents so massively important, however, they were the only people in their son's life. None of this mattered, though. It was beyond easy to have one's attention distracted by materialistic objects, and this was exactly how Hikaru was still thriving.

There were many things in the manor to entertain the boy for, yet another, lonesome night. Most of the games that Hikaru was accustomed to playing, such as Shougi, required at least two people. The boy was raised to be quite intelligent, and was able to find enjoyment out of being such, through games that were based around topics such as strategy. Of course, Hikaru could play a game that insisted on two people participating, but there were still other single-player activities that he could partake in. He had always enjoyed mind-puzzles, such as Sudoku. Perhaps that was what he would do for the next while.
Rising from the polished bamboo floor of which he'd been seated upon, Hikaru began walking around the house. His parents always told him that it was good to drink water whilst exercising his brain. He never really understood why, but it was a routine that he'd grown into the habit of accomplishing when the task asked of it. After having retrieved a glass, Hikaru made his way towards the refrigerator, to fill it with water before leaving to play his game.
Once his drink was acquired, the boy began walking back towards the room of which he was previously in, and seated himself comfortably upon a shikibuton. Hikaru always preferred to have some form of cushioning during periods where he knew well that he'd intended on staying in one place for a sustained amount of time. This made it much less tiring for his rear- a thought that he commonly shared with many people of whom are approximately the same age as himself. Despite having never left his home, there were still natural connections between Hikaru and every other adolescent. To his own, thoughts, however, he always believed that the life that he lived in was no different than that of others, which was where the boy was surely mistaken.

Naturally, this Sudoku board was a standard nine square by nine square. From top to bottom to right, what numbers he was provided were: 4, 3, 6, 2, 9, 1, 5. Break. 3, 4, 9, 8, 2. Break. 2, 8, 9, 1, 5, 7, 3, 4. Break. 4, 9, 2, 8, 1. Break. 6, 4, 3. Break. 1, 5, 8, 7, 3, 2, 9, 6. Break. 8, 3, 1, 5, 6, 9. 7, 9, 6, 4, 5. Break. 6, 4, 5, 3, 8, 2, 7. End. After having become accustomed to this game, Hikaru was well equipped at deciphering what it was that was meant to go wherever it needed to be. Looking at the third column, he quickly came to the conclusion to the line, as it was missing only one number. Six. The exact same pattern ruled out the eighth and ninth rows. Seven, eight. This seemingly random number sequence continued as the boy carried on with his game, only stopping every few moments to drink some water.
In due time, Hikaru slowly came to the conclusion of the puzzle. Despite having found some form of mastery in such games, this particularly round took longer than it often did. This was nothing that the boy paid any mind to; spending more time on one activity simply meant that the night would pass by more quickly. And that it did, but not in the way that the boy had been most often passed his time by- not enjoyably so, and not the way of which he was hoping for.
Contemplation in regards to what it was that should be done next had struck Hikaru. Taking a moment to stare out the window that was only adjacent to where he sat, he came to notice that it was nearly pitch black, with only the street lights providing any form of sight to those who might wish to see. It was slightly past midnight. Perhaps the boy would decide that it was time to sleep, but this was rarely the case. Hikaru wasn't tired, nor did he feel that the night was over. There was still more that he wanted to do; he just had to decipher what it was that he'd wished to entertain himself with. Perhaps another quick game of Sudoku. He figured that it wouldn't take as long as the last.
Upon grabbing another board, Hikaru once again analyzed the numbers that were laid out in front of his eyes. 7, 6, 3, 2. Break. 1, 6. Break. 6, 3, 1, 7, 4. Break. 3, 4. Break. 5, 9, 8, 1. Break. 1, 5. Break. 3, 2, 5, 9, 8. Break. Before being able to read off the characters provided by the eighth column, a sound interrupted his focus- a knocking upon the frame of the manor. This was unusual, between both the time of morning that it was, as well as the fact that the family rarely had visitors. Thinking that, perhaps his parents were home, Hikaru quickly rose from his place, and walked towards the entrance to his home.

Upon approaching the fusuma, Hikaru immediately noticed that there was only one shadow behind the sliding screens- only one person. Neither of his parents would leave one another for any reason. The boy was slightly unnerved; he knew not what action should have been taken. Before being able to respond, Hikaru took note that the shadow that was implemented on the screen moved its arm towards the frame, where the door could effectively be slid open. The white-haired boy was afraid, now. These weren't actions that his parents would make. This person at the entrance of his home was not his mother, nor his father. It was evident that something was out of place. In the entirety of Hikaru's living in this household, never had there been any visitors. If someone wished to speak, it was to either of the boy's parents- never the son- and one of the two would leave the building to converse with someone outside of the home grounds.
As the door slid to the side, Hikaru became nervous continuously further. The man who now stood in the wake of the small boy wore a mask to cover his own face. His body was adorned with a grey jacket that covered only his torso, black gloves that devoured the space between the hands and forearms, gauntlets that lay gently above yet tightly strapped to the dark mitts, and what appeared to be a stick mounted upon his back. He seemed to portray himself as something far from friendly- in Hikaru's mind, to say the least.
Whilst busy observing the newcomer, his train of thought was interrupted swiftly, as the member of the ANBU Black Ops- an organisation of which Hikaru had never heard of- began speaking. "Your mother and father have been murdered." The boy was, surprisingly, unmoved at this. However, he didn't react, simply because he knew not what the term meant. This was simply a part of the effort done in his upbringing that was meant to protect him. "What's 'murder'?" He replied with a tone that was neither shy nor prideful- it was casual, though slightly less so as a result of speaking to a man of whom was considered strange. After having spoken, Hikaru observed the male, and yet entirely lacked the ability to notice that he was being stared at through the mask, astonished. What could have been deduced, however, was that this "ANBU Black Ops" member was astonished; his somewhat temporarily rigid body spoke this more than clearly. Death was such a common thing in the life that everyone awoken in the current existence had been thought to have experienced in some way, yet this seemingly barring adolescent had never witnessed such things, nor heard the terms, leaving him and they alienated from one another. Once again, the man spoke. "Your parents were killed." Still, Hikaru was clueless as to what this person was making an attempt to say and insert into the boy's mind. It evidently reigned true that he was never educated in such evil things, and had not a clue that they existed. These were simply bits, pieces, and portions of life that were purposefully intended that he never have to learn due to their outreach of such malicious extent. "They were... What?" Hikaru's voice stuttered slightly, though this was only out of confusion. Still, his mind and level of comprehension remained entirely separated from the words that were seemingly entering and leaving his grasp. The ANBU Black Ops member stepped backwards in a beyond staggering motion, though it was clear that he caught himself quickly and resumed his attention. It was made evident that he was amazed by the fact that this boy was so empty handed, despite the inability to view the expressive reactions upon his face- such knowledge that was thought to be common seemed to be lacking in this boy's quiet mind. There were, now, only simple explanations, and that was what Hikaru received next. "Your mother and father are gone forever." Despite being blunt, this was the only way for the man to successfully get the message across.
Just as had likely been assumed, Hikaru's face began turning a bright red, before a seemingly endless stream of tears flowed down the sides of his face, leaking downwards his cheeks and dripping off of the peak of chin. His parents promised that they would never leave him, but it was clear, now, that that promise had been broken, and their son had been left alone for what remainder of his life existed. The boy couldn't bare to think of what life he would be forced to live, without the only people that ever existed in it. He realized, now, just how much he'd taken his parents' presence for granted. The ANBU Black Ops member continued to solemnly watch Hikaru break down, though such details weren't evident to the suffering being embraced by his conversational partner. It was probably best that he leave the boy to himself, as it was clear to many, though as now proved to show not all, that such events could prove to be painful. Before disappearing in a blaring gleam of smoke, he spoke two final words. "I'm sorry."

The birds chirped in the trees that surrounded the area, his body was slowly rising and falling with each breath that he took. Jet black strands of hair covered over the dark green Kumogakure headband. It lay right over his eye's, the blind man however could still see his way around the area; the many bugs that surrounded him within the forest were special chakra eating bugs. They consumed his chakra on a daily basis, a toll for living within his scarred and beaten body. The many twitches and bug noises made echoed throughout Hotaru's ears, spreading their own and his own chakra around the area showing him a mental image of what the wooded forest looked like.

Moving forward his hand reached out taking in about two bugs each. Each a female that came back laying out a chakra trail towards the encampment. His sense's and mostly the bugs helped him along moving through the forest at a impressive rate for a blind guy. The Raikage had sent him on this special recon mission, gather data and return back in one piece, the first of the two being the easiest. His footsteps were soon followed by small tapping noises, his body had gone from the ground to jumping along each limb, a small bug giving him a chakra signal as to where to land and jump thus guiding him further into the forest. Coming to a stop, his body pressed against the tree's trunk as he kneeled down upon the large extended branch of the tree, his black and green ninja outfit was fairly hidden due to the flowing leaves and branches. His breathes became slowly more concentrated as he slowly put one hand on the trunk of the tree, and the other arm just extended, allowing a few hundred bugs to slowly escape from his body. They were the one's doing the recon for him. The chirping and buzzing of bugs grew due to this, his body just remained still as each bug began placing down markers around the small camp.

The Raikage had found out about a couple of bandits that had been roaming around Kumogakure, ransacking travel wagons and smashing trade routes to benefit their own deeds. Well Hotaru wasn't a big fan of such actions, if he'd of been in the right mind he might have taught them a lesson himself. Though this wasn't that kind of mission, he was to report the severity of each attack to the best of his knowledge and he was also to report on each bandit. Reaching back slowly his hand moved into his small medical pouch and pulled out a small notepad of paper, leaning his head down his teeth bit down on the two tips of his index and middle finger. Pulling his right glove off and shoving it down into the medical pocket. His hand then preformed the necessary signs before his head came down again, biting his index finger. A small blue like flame appeared along the tip of his finger, but this wasn't a flame it was his chakra, concentrating it into his blood he began to write symbols and details about the three men. Marking out weapons and even a small brief description, his hand began moving down the page as his finger continued to write, while doing so something happened to the ink/blood that he was using to write. It soaked into the page and disappeared, almost as if he'd wrote nothing at all. But as he was writing the many bugs that he'd sent out to do his reconnaissance were beginning to crawl and fly their way back into the folds of his clothes and under his skin once more.

Quickly the sound of shuriken flying through the air came to his ears, reacting as best as he could his right arm threw itself up to cover most of his chest and all of his face. Three sharp points stuck into his forearm, his already black suit now stained in blood as he leaked from each wound. Hotaru shoved the pad away, his first reaction afterwards was to shield himself and then hide. Smacking his hands together he thought to himself before pressing his finger tips against the tree's large branch. 'Bug Protection Wall ' Instantly his sleeves emptied with bugs they crawled up attaching and binding to one another forming at least a ten foot wall between him and the bandits. Doing this gave him a little time, not looking back for the many chakra bugs around him gave him the 'all clear' as it were, his feet pressed down against the branch launching himself backwards off of the tree limb and into another tree. His feet landed almost perfectly against the other branch; as he did this he felt the dissipation of the bug wall, he could hear water splashing violently against his many bugs. He had to think of a way to get out of this situation, he wasn't too worried about having to take on the bandits that had been robbing from the poor; but having to take on all three of them at once was a different story. Again the sound of shuriken flying through the air caught his ear, this time he dropped catching the limb with his hands and spinning once around the limb popping himself right back atop the tree branch. The shuriken flew through the air behind him sticking into the nearest tree. Turning his head listening for moments his arms raised up. "Go now." He spoke to himself as he released a jet stream of bugs from his arms. 'Straight Line Bug Projection'. Two streams of bugs shot out around him, they chased after each individual, this was so that the fight was 'fairer' for Hotaru. If the bugs caught the men then they'd begin to instant sap the chakra from their bodies in a almost unending appetite. Hotaru knew that he needed to move quickly to get away from the men; again jumping down to the ground this time his feet hit the ground running, dashing and darting in and out of trees. In the distance he heard one loud scream it seemed that at least some of his buddies got to eat well. He then extended his arm's out recalling the streams of bugs, even if they only reached one bandit he was sure to be immobilized from the loss of so much chakra.

Making his movements quick and some what sporadic he rushed through a open area, the bugs finally entering back in his body as a swarm he realised too late. His foot felt the small pull of a blind wire, not normally it wouldn't have been that bad except this wire had a trigger. A huge blast of fire rushed from each side of Hotaru, shooting his body forward an a great rate; coming to bounce off the side of a tree his clothing burned and ripped from the impact of the explosion as well as the hit from the tree. Hotaru found himsel looking up his breathing became deeper and heavier as he sat there; propped up against a tree. The sound around him just rang out from the sound of the explosion. His clothes ripped from his neck down to his stomach, revealing the horrific scars that adorned his slender and well toned frame. His pale white eye's shined forth as the headband that covered his sight was left in his lap. He could barely move, his head pounded against itself, the only thing he could do was send a few bugs to the surrounding area. The other two men approached small smirks along their faces as he groaned about having to chase the Jonin, Hotaru knew now that these men weren't just bandits, they were ninja, rogues or whatever they were skilled in certain departments. They began to approach Hotaru silently speaking between one another; along their collars each held two small tiny female bugs, each giving off a distinct chakra level. Placing each hand on the ground as if he was trying to stand up his pale empty blind eye's stared at the two men. They thought they had one; but they were about to be sent into a nightmare. Immediately thousands of bugs came rushing down his arms and out of holes within his chest and sides, they engulfed not only the ground but the air as well. Swarming the entire around around Hotaru, each bug then exploded, reproducing three bugs in the process, so now the area was basically covered by three thousand Kikai bugs. The two bandits screamed horrific sounds as their bodies became encased with these bugs, not only eating away at their chakra, but filling their bodies down to their mouths ears eye's and noses. "Bug Wasteland Technique....chew on that. " He whispered before falling backwards. His body now lay limp against the tree trunk, as several thousand bugs covered the area some went towards Kumogakure leaving a Chakra trail to Hotaru's body.
