What was that look for? Heidi blinked. "I'unno..self defense..? I try to stay away from who I'm fighting, but it doesn't mean they're always going to listen to that," she said with a shrug. She could hunt a little..oh hey! She could be cleared for those daggers now! Awesome! Heidi'd have to remember that tomorrow. "You ever done Princess Isle? The Moon training course. Marcus had me do it when I first got here, it was fun. Gets you cleared for these really cool runic daggers, Jordan showed me."Heidi glanced at the box Tuck was carrying, stepping closer while they walked to peek into it. Oooh! An apple! She stole one from the box and took a big bite out of it, chewing it and humming quietly. There went her plan of comforting Tuck through teaching her, unless he still wanted to do it. Her eyes turned up to Tuck a moment before she looked ahead again, taking another bite out of her apple to hide a smile. She chewed that bite slowly, finally swallowing it when she felt she could speak without giggling. "I know what I'm going to sing for you, by the way. But it's a surprise. All I'll say is it's from one of my favorite movies." He was welcome to try and figure out the movie but the movie itself had so many songs in it she didn't think he'd figure it out even if he knew the movie.

"Yeah, me and Evan did it a while back. Almost didn't pass, but it was interestin' enough." He paused. "It's different, bein' a hunter. I'd tell you just to go for the nuts, but I ain't real sure what kinna results you gonna get from that. It's still worth a shot, I guess. You're small," well, compared to him, "but bein' a hunter gives you all kinds of advantages. Like when Peyton beat my a** during a spar. She's the littlest thing I ever seen, but she can really pack a punch." Tuck watched Heidi take the apple, still looking rather pensive. "If you wanna practice close combat, we could do that. No weapons, just ol' fashioned wrasslin'." That... sounded incredibly fun, truthfully, in all the wrong ways. "You all full of surprises today," Tuck murmured, grinning down at her. They were getting pretty close to their room at that point, and Tuck shifted the box in his arms. "I bet I could make you tell me."

"Is Peyton the one who busted your face?" Had she met Peyton? Heidi couldn't remember. But Heidi did remember Tuck telling her a tiny Sun had wrecked his face. She also recalled saying she was breaking up with him over that. Heh. She grinned and snorted at that thought. Good thing that had been a pre-dating joke, she could never think of breaking up with him for real. "Sure! I'd like that," Heidi smiled up at Tuck when he offered to just go bare handed. "You're real eager to wrestle~. Just don't break me too hard, 'kay?" Her smile had become a smug grin now. She really did need more training in all seriousness. "I bet you can't make me," she challenged confidently, finally stopping in front of the door to the room. "Where's your key? I'll get it." Heidi stuck the apple in her mouth to free up her hand.

"Yeah. Her and Stormy and a few other people got this real mean charge - Gnat, too. Roland is another, I guess, although he seemed as surprised as I was when his weapon snapped in two or some s**t, I can't remember what happened exactly cuz my head was hurtin' like a ********. Beat my a**, that guy," Tuck shook his head and grinned down at Heidi. That grin kind of turned into something else entirely when she told him not to break her too hard. "I wouldn't hurt you on purpose," he promised, looking solemn and probably just a little naughty. It was Heidi's fault. She made him all bad. All bad. "Front pocket closest to you," he finally replied. "You can feel around a lil' if you want." Tuck gave her a cheeky grin.

Heidi blinked. Roland and Tuck had sparred? "He..what?" She frowned. Had that been why Roland was so awkward? "..You should go talk to Roland at some point. He thinks you hate him. It made meeting him really awkward." The blonde sighed and shook her head, her eyes rolling. Awkward was kind of an understatement, it had been almost uncomfortable until she finally managed to calm him the heck down. "He was okay, but the moment he found out you're my boyfriend he like..'oh this is a bad idea I'm sure Tuck hates me even though you just told me he thinks we're cool,' Heidi said in a mockingly masculine voice, lowering her pitch and even making a stupid face. Tell us how you feel, Heidi. It isn't coming out clear. "He like, thought you were going to jump out of thin air and punch his lights out for so much as breathing the same air as me. It took forever for me to get him to spar with me. Uuuuuugh." This was unusual for Heidi. Usually she was just so chill about things, she took them in stride and just shrugged it off, but it had bothered her that Roland had treated her differently from how he would simply because of who she was dating. It irritated her that he just wouldn't listen to her.
"..I know you wouldn't. I trust you." Heidi's smile returned, her words no longer in jest. She did trust Tuck. She trusted him with everything.
She reached into the pocket Tuck had told her to check, snorting and looking up at him with a look that said 'seriously?' when he said she could feel around. She lowered her head to awkwardly take the apple from her mouth and hold the stem between her thumb and index finger of the hand holding the sheet together. "I'll do that after you come back from your shower," Heidi promised with a cheeky grin right back at Tuck, fishing the keys out of his pocket and unlocking the door. Once inside she set the sheet and boombox down by the desk with a sigh of relief, reaching back to rub her shoulder. Finally. The apple core was tossed in the trash bin.

"We sparred, yeah. He's weird. It's just awkward all around if you ask me. I ain't gonna say I hate him, but I ain't gonna say I like him, neither. I tol' him that s**t is different out on the field when we fightin'. I get out there, I'ma do my job even if it means protectin' his sorry a**." Tuck lifted his broad shoulders in a shrug as he stepped into the room behind Heidi. "I ain't the type to be followin' you around. I bet he's that kinna guy. I mean." A myriad of expressions flitted across Tuck's face before a concerned one eased onto his features.
"I worry, you know? When you start truckin' off in golems an' s**t, I worry. I think that's normal, though. Worryin' about someone you care about."
<Worrying about someone Theodore loves.>
Zip it.
Tuck brightened considerably at the prospect of foolin' around, and the box of food fell to the ground with a hard thud. Priorities, Tuck had them. He took Heidi in his arms, dragging her back against him so that her back was nestled against his front - and he immediately pressed a kiss to her shoulder, right where she'd been rubbing it.
"Shoulda let me carry it," he rumbled against her neck. "I'ma take a shower. A short one. A real short one. Gimme a kiss first."

"Still kinda pissed me off," Heidi muttered, shaking her head. She gave Tuck a smile again, comforted by his assurance that he didn't stalk her. He trusted her. She would never do anything to hurt him or their relationship, that was just stupid.
"Mm...I'm sorry that I worry you. I only went because I was curious what Otto was doing. If you want, we can go together sometime? It's fun! You get put into a random body of something who'd live there and they can't tell the difference!" Maybe if Tuck saw how harmless it was he'd feel a little better about it. Heidi doubted she could stop his worrying completely but she did want to at least ease it as best as she could.
Suddenly she was being grabbed and pulled and she squeaked, laughing and closing her eyes as she reached up to drape an arm around her boyfriend's neck. The kiss made her shiver. "It's fiiiiiine. You'll just have to give me a massage, I guess. Gosh oh my a boy'll be touching me, I never thought I'd see the day~!" Heidi gasped and put a hand over her mouth, her eyes opening and looking up at Tuck through her bangs. Scandal in room 160~.
"You're so demanding," she giggled. Heidi turned in Tuck's arms and reached up to pull Tuck down for the kiss he was asking for, one hand on the back of his neck and the other cupping his cheek. It was a sweet kiss, she didn't want to get him ridiculously riled up right before he left. "Is that what you wanted?" She asked after ending the kiss, brushing her lips against Tuck's and briefly nipping his bottom lip. "You should go~. I'll be here." Heidi smiled and couldn't help but kiss him again.

"That'd be fun, goin' together," Tuck toyed with the idea. It would be a little interesting to see if he could find Freya, even if Herryk balked at the idea. "I know you don't worry me on purpose."
He grunted at the n** and debated his options. He wasn't exactly fresh-smelling, but he didn't reek - and Heidi smelled like apples and was here and warm and kissing him.
"It'll work for now," he forced himself to pull away with the saddest face ever, reaching for the towel that was slung over a chair before he shuffled towards the door. "Be right back."
She could probably hear his footsteps zip away the instant he was out the door.

Heidi was laughing as Tuck ran off to be quick about his shower. So eager.
While he was gone she left, just going a few doors down to her own room and quietly gathering up the majority of her own clothing to put it away in Tuck's room. She changed after that, stealing one of Tuck's shirts to just wear to bed instead of actual pajamas.
When he returned she was sitting on the bed against the wall, her legs bent so she could use her own lap to prop up a book without her hands, which she was sitting comfortably on.

A shower and a shave later (there was a small nick on his chin that had been covered with a little piece of toilet paper), Tuck was back. He was in his 'pajamas' - an old ratty pair of black sweatpants - and nothing else, the towel wrapped around his neck.
He caught sight of Heidi and grinned before tossing the towel over the back of the chair.
"Whatcha readin'?"
Tuck slowly sank onto the bed, positioning himself on his side so that he was facing Heidi on the small bed.

At his question she didn't miss a beat, didn't hesitate for even a moment as she answered, "Fifty Shades of Grey," with complete seriousness. She didn't even look up from the book.
There was a pause before she finally raised a hand to show Tuck the cover. It was just a book on basic first aid tips. Bandaging, treating cuts, burns, minor broken bones. Things like that. She smiled and marked off her page before she moved to reach over Tuck and put the book on the bedside table. She then moved to lie on the bed beside Tuck, curled up on her side and facing her boyfriend with a fond smile. "You rushed," she observed as she reached out to poke the paper-covered nick. "Good shower?" Heidi stretched out then so she could move closer to Tuck, one leg draped across his waist and her arms moving to hug his middle. She tucked her head under his chin and closed her eyes. She wasn't sleeping, just getting comfortable.

Tuck squinted at Heidi and was about to nab the book so that he could read some of the steamy bits - until she revealed it wasn't actually the book she'd said it was. Tuck snorted softly and pinched away the piece of toilet paper that had been stuck to his face.
"I did," he hunkered down and got comfortable. "Yeah. Wish the water was hotter, though. I'ma take an hour long shower in the hotel when we go on our trip, fair warnin'."
He liked the fact that she was wearing his shirt. It made a very obvious statement to Tuck - 'mine'. Resting his hand on her outer thigh, Tuck leaned in to press a kiss to her forehead before closing his eyes as well.
"I don't even know what time it is, an' I'm too lazy to turn an' look."

"Do what you want~. But if you really take an hour you'll use up all the hot water. What will be left for me?" Heidi pouted her lips, kissing Tuck's neck. She made a happy little noise when he kissed her forehead, tracing lazy circles against his back.
The time? Eh. That wasn't important. It really wasn't. "It'sssss...kiss me o'clock, and you're five minutes late." Heidi was the most clever ******** thing on the island. "So you gotta make up for lost time."

"Nothin', so you're gonna be super stinky. Or we could take a shower together." Cue wiggly eyebrows and horrible grin, complete with miles of dimples.
Tuck kissed her, of course, slowly and lazily.
"I'm never late."

Heidi's face flushed at the suggestion. "Okay," she agreed without explanation, a tiny smile on her lips. She didn't clarify if it was about being stinky or about showering with Tuck. "I guess around you I need all the cold showers I can get anyway." Heidi gave Tuck a look. She made a happy sound when Tuck kissed her, returning the kiss and giggling when he said he was never late. "True, you haven't been late for anything so far. I guess I can believe you." Heidi kissed him again, keeping the kisses sweet and short for now. "You're the best,"And I love thee. Thine smile sends shivers down mine spine, thine eyes are akin to the warm sun on a hot October day. When thou holds me I feel as if my heart will explode with Joy and--Oh my god stop it.Heidi laughed involuntarily, a reaction to embarrassment she would not be explaining. "Did you really want to know where we're going for our trip?"
