Lassell, blinked as he was smacked across the back of his head "ow...well..sorry if I fear for my life regardless" he told her making a face. He rubbed the back of his head from where she had smacked him.
He muttered to himself and followed her in the direction she was going "fine by me.." he told her. He too was starting to get hungry and it wasn't even sure how long he had been in this maze with her. At least once this was over he could relax for a bit before the next activity started up.

Oh, and also, the answer to the riddle: They all turned right?

Palatine stopped that thought before she could finish with something crass. Suffice it to say, she had little else to contribute on that topic and could hardly determine the significance of bogs. She cleared her throat and pushed such thoughts away for the time being. Best to focus on the task at hand. They had a maze to get through, and she was determined to finish it.
"Let's go forward," she said, and plowed on ahead again.
She ignored the other team that was in close proximity to them. She and Celliwig didn't really have time to stop and chat with them, did they? If anything, it'd just make them lag behind. A distraction, that was all it was. They should focus on their goal.
Moving a head left behind the spooky music and the path takes a sharp u-turn before leaving you with another choice. going Straight or branching off to the left.
Down the straight path you can see some sort of ... sign?

"Extreme talent for juggling crystal orbs?" Her brow quirked as she picked up her pace to follow after her partner. "Wicked 80's hair? Or his completely unnecessarily tight pants?" Her favorite part had always been the goblins, really... And Ludo, although she'd certainly kill for a little worm who'd tell her which way was the right way to go right now.
As you and your teammate travel the path there's this feeling of going in circles. Something of a rather unfortunate feeling when the pair of you come across a sign. You're walking in a circle try a different route. Welp that sign was helpful, though the closer you look you notice there's some fine print. If you take a few rights next you might find a gate, but if you turn left careful of going in circles, there is still a way out this way too.
After reading the sign and reaching the end of the path you find yourself back near the first choice where Pally chose to go straight instead of turn. And you find yourself with two choices. You go Left or go right, to the left is the path you just took and the same path you just passed the Barracudas on, but you remember there was another path you hadn't taken yet, to the left leads you back to the first path, where you could try a new way all together.

"Bingo on the tight pants," Palatine admitted, but her voice was rather monotone—certainly not the blithe, joking tone one might expect in a conversation about David Bowie's pants.
Palatine winced and cleared her throat again, as if that would somehow assist her in seeming less like the uptight, socially awkward being she really was.
The maze wasn't helping matters at all. She thought they were going in circles, but as she'd lost track of which way she'd been going and everything about the corn looked pretty much the same no matter which way they turned, it was difficult to say for sure. She thought there was something familiar about the area where they'd ended up, but that could easily be her imagination as well.
"Well..." she said, trying not to sound frustrated as she read the sign. "I think it's safe to say I'm utter crap at mazes. Why don't you give it a shot? I can't seem to figure this thing out."

Celliwig stood there for a moment, brow furrowed as she reached a hand up to twirl at a lock of hair, worrying her lower lip with her teeth. "... Maybe that riddle was a hint? If all of the cars turned right... Maybe we should too. As long as we don't keep turning right after that we shouldn't wind up back here, I'd hope."

Team Gold Anteaters Team Members: Lassell + Lyceum Choice: Straight
Lyceum kept moving along the path making sure Lassell was still with her every few feet before they came to another choice. Straight or Left. She could see a sign up ahead if they continued straight and it could possibly be a dead end sign, but she couldn't see it from where she was.
"You can wait here if you like, or you can come with, but I'm just going to go see whether the sign is a dead end sign or something like the gate."
She didn't really wait for a response before heading straight down the path she was currently on. She could always turn around.

Lassell, followed Lyceum down the straight path before stopping "im fine with waiting here" he told her before watching her travel down the path, at the same time nervous about what she would find at the end of the path. From the looks of it there was a sign at the end which could mean a bad thing or a good thing, he wasn't all too certain.

As Lyceum moved to read the sign there was not really much intelligible writing on it. More like a couple of planetary symbols and finally in almost fine print.
Have you seen the hitch-hiker on the dollar bill?

As the team headed right it didn't take long at all to reach the next split, well actually all they really did at the end of the path they were on was turn right and found themselves at another choice.
They could choose to go left or right. Pally might remember the first time around she took a straight which was now a left. The Right path however, the only thing anyone would currently remember about it is that there was a path beyond where the entry spot was. These paths were also mentioned by the sign. Now the question was, which way?

Lassell, walked down the pathway as Lyceum waved him down. He blinked and read the sign before squinting a bit to read smaller print. He tilted his head to the side to read it and looks at Lyceum "looks we are finally making progress in this corn maze" he told her before he stepped to the side and gazed down the straight pathway and continued. Checking back to make sure Lyceum was following him.

Lyceum waved Lassel on, even though she had heard that joke before, she didnt think the sign was a reference to the joke, so she figured they should probably continue on straight down the path they were on.
Just the way the message was presented on it own was enough to make her think it was a good idea to check it out. It was far more encouraging than the creepy music and seemed less threatening.
When Lassell reached her she had to roll her eyes at his reading the sign, than once more with a sigh at his words. If they weren't making progress in the maze before then what exactly had they been doing exactly. She frowned, but followed the boy continuing straight.
The pair continued to walk down the straight path and before too long they came to another splitting of the paths one was a short right and disappeared back straight. The other was a left and the maze seem to swoop back.
The problem with the left handed path was the Scarecrow. Looking as if it'd been hung by a hangman's noose right in the middle of the path. A piece of wood was hung around it's neck and a large red X had been painted on it.
So would Lassell and Lyceum go left or right?

Palatine stared down the left path and frowned deeply. "I'm pretty sure I went down this path already," she said. "Which doesn't at all help with the not turning right after the last path, since... right is the only other option."
Sighing heavily, she looked at her partner with an expression of near defeat. "Your choice," she said. "I can't really remember what comes after this left. Breadcrumbs would really be helpful right about now."

Lassell, yawned he was slowly starting get bored of constantly choosing directions but he figured the sooner he got out the sooner he could go back to enjoying his summer vacation before school started up again. He turned right to follow the path.
