Personality
General: At first, Leoben appears intimidating--he's tall and fairly built for his age and tends to have the most expressionless or bored looks in classes. Sometimes, it even looks like he's constantly angry so normally, he isn't very approachable. Luckily, he usually isn't the one being approached--Leoben is in truth very friendly and involved and more than likely, he'll be the one approaching others. He's the type of person who likes to rope everyone into one thing, even if he might not know the other person. Whatever he sets his mind to, Leoben is ridiculously gung-ho about the whole thing and that feeling tends to be contagious.

Leoben does have a fault in this though, the way he treats everyone is the same and he can be oblivious of other people's feelings--he doesn't realize that the kindness he offers could ever be taken in a different way.

Besides this, Leoben has a bad reputation for getting into fights. While he generally won't throw the first punch, this doesn't mean he's by any means a peaceful person. Because he's so fearless, he can unintentionally egg people on and push their buttons even further. He's also very impulsive--and that with his strange lack of self preservation--makes for a dangerous combination (mostly for himself).
Habits: Leoben has a bad habit of cracking his fingers, his back, and just about every part of his body when he's bored.
Hobbies: Since he was a little kid, Leoben's parents amused his interest in fighting (a wee bit too much, actually). He was always rough-housing with his older family members and his brother--finally, his parents decided to route all that physical strength in something that wouldn't cause many injuries for the rest of the family. They signed him him up for a variety of muggle fighting classes--his favorite, though, is boxing--specifically kickboxing. He stayed in those classes until his magic started acting up--then his parents pulled him from contact sports and amused him at the house by enchanting fighting dummies.
Likes: Leoben likes being active--whether its indoors or outdoors, it doesn't really matter to him. He likes participating in competitive sports, quidditch included. Not only is he one of those kids who gets far too involved in just about any sort of competition, but also likes helping people. As silly as it sounds, Leoben is more than happy to assist someone in help.
Dislikes: Leoben doesn't like standing still or really being quiet--though he does what he must to succeed in classes, he doesn't enjoy studying nor is really the most attentive student. While he doesn't sleep in his classes, often times, he's zoned out beyond belief. Besides in academics, Leoben doesn't handle well with bullies--mostly because he's insanely protective of just about everyone, not to mention his family. If he sees someone being teased, he's going to speak out or even punch the aggressors.

Family
Mother: Magda Linwood, 46, Muggle, Stay at home mother
Father: Carigan Linwood, 56, Pure Blood, Wizard, Ravenclaw
Siblings: Leoben is triplets with Maergrethe and Liam. He has, along with this, a rather large family.
• Harris Linwood, 21, Pure Blood, Auror *Half brother* Ravenclaw
• Challis Linwood, 19, Pure Blood, Wildlife Photographer *half brother* Slytherin
• Orin Linwood, 15, Half Blood, Ravenclaw
• Tristan Linwood, 13, Half Blood, Gryffindor
• Leoben Linwood, 11, Gryffindor
• Liam Osiris Linwood, 11, Half Blood, Hufflepuff
• Maergrethe Rei Linwood, 11, Half Blood, Ravenclaw
• Casius Linwood, 9, Half Blood, Primary Education

Extended Family: Carigan's parents are deceased and Magda's aren't involved much with the Linwood family.

Relationship With Family: The Linwood family is very close knit, it's no wonder that Leoben is close with every single one of them. Of course, he is particularly close with Liam and Maer, much more than the other kids. They have a sort of 6th sense bond with one another--Leoben feels anxious when either of them are in trouble. While he's protective of everyone in his family, it's very much the case with Liam and Maer and even more so with his younger brother Casius.

History
General History: It's doubtful that any parent actually expect twins--let alone triplets. When Liam, Leoben, and Maergrethe came into this world, they were an excessive handful. The Linwood parents now had three new babies to care for--perhaps it wouldn't have been so bad if the triplets weren't so in tune with each other. When one started crying, it was only seconds until the other two were getting all snotty and teary as well. Even with the other older siblings caring for them, these triplets would sap away everyone's energy by the end of hte day.

And it wasn't like they got any easier when they got older. With Maergrethe as the ringleader (Liam and Leoben being all too willing of followers), they got into almost continuous trouble. They came back with scuff knees and broken bones time and time again--so often that Leoben stopped crying about the pain and just started showing all of his bumps, bruises, dislocations, and even some breaks, as some sort of trophy. In actuality, it was a one way ticket to a new swarm of attention and he knew it.

While Maergrethe became more rebellious in their toddler years, Leoben stopped following his sister and began doing more of his own thing. It started with hanging out with his older siblings, asking them to wrestle with him. This fed his interest in fighting--which, since he seemed to be breaking less bones fighting than following Maer around, his parents invested in. He began going to muggle fighting classes, and despite often times playing too roughly with the kids his age, Leoben was ultimately successful.

Until his magic started appearing (his punches started hitting people a little bit too hard and, on one occasion, he did a flying kick), Leoben was perfectly happy. But after the muggles started suspecting something, his parents pulled him out of his fighting classes and just started enchanting his fighting dummies. He was content with this for a while, until his parents sent Maer off to boarding school. While she was gone, Leoben started becoming destructive. He could feel how much Maer loathed being there and he didn't know any way to channel that besides breaking things--because as much as he tried to explain the feeling to his parents, they wouldn't take him seriously enough. When Maer came home, however, Leoben calmed down in a heartbeat and went back to his (mostly) peaceful ways.

A little bit later, his letter to Hogwarts came--carried by the same owl as his sibling's.

Miscellaneous
The Sorting: It didn't take long to realize that Leoben would be the first of his siblings to be called up--after all, they were going in alphabetical order. He really didn't feel much pressure, though. His father was pretty open to any house--so were all of his siblings, really. As much as Leoben wanted to be in Ravenclaw like his father, he knew that house wouldn't serve him at all. Merlin's Beard, he wouldn't be able to get into the common room by himself ever and Leoben knew he wasn't cut out for seven years of that torture! It was more of Maer's things than his.

The poll at home placed him in Gryffindor and that seemed pretty accurate. But in truth, Leoben was fine with any house. Whichever house the sorting hat placed him in, Leoben would brave it like any of the others.

"Leoben Linwood," One of the Professors called out.

Before heading up to the stool, Leoben turned around to his siblings and saluted them, a huge grin as he did. "See you losers on the other side!"

From there, Leoben trotted up--taking the steps in threes--to the sorting hat. "Pick my poison," he welcomed the sorting hat, looking up at it with easy eyes. Was that a smirk I saw? Leoben wondered as the sorting hat's rims narrowed his vision. Before the hat was even completely on him, a large bellow emerged, "GRYFFINDOR!"

From there, Leoben ran down to the Gryffindor table in a sprint--aiming for one person. With a magnificent side tackle, he took down his older brother Tristan. "Orin owes you a galleon now!"

Patronus:
Boggart: Leoben would like to say he wasn't afraid of anything--but there was something very real to him... He knew what exactly it would be before the boggart even came out.

The dark form twisted and distorted into two dark red figures on the ground. He could faintly see Liam's blonde hair and a speck of Maer's brown beneath all that blood. Leoben clenched his fist--feeling pure rage. "Ridukulous!" He growled, snapping his wand out at the boggart.

Within seconds, the dark form was transforming again. This time, there were just two figures standing before him. "These two are ridiculous enough for me," Leoben explained with a smirk, seeing his siblings portrayed in front of him.
Mirror of Erised: Was he a simpleton? "Weird, the mirror's broken?" Leoben wondered aloud--he had heard that this mirror showed his greatest desires (and Leoben was curious--he didn't even know what his own desire was!) But he didn't see anything besides himself. "I'll have to tell Maer that she was wrong," Leoben mumbled to himself with a shrug, leaving the mirror and its dusty room behind.
