Thanks for the guild invitation!

I'm Shaun, a.k.a. Bleeding Apocalypse. Been a member of the site for about 9 years, hang out mostly in the Site Feedback forum. Don't let the creepy username fool you; I'm really a very laid back, easygoing type of guy and try my best to be as friendly as possible. I'm 29, from The Bronx (New York City), and I work at a private company that expedites U.S. citizens' passports and visas to other countries.

I've seen the Hannibal movies and am a really big fan of the show. I'll be downloading the books soon because what better way to pass the morning commute than reading about cannibalistic serial killers?

There are some shows in which I figure I can do without the books, like True Blood or (confession time) Vampire Diaries, but... I think reading the GoT books will actually be hugely beneficial to me because I'm still feeling a little lost with all of the characters. They've got a HUGE cast. gonk

omg i know, i heard the books rival the show and create more depth to the characters so I really want to read them. plus i have a hard time holding out for the new season redface I watched true blood for its first 3 seasons but after that i felt it got carried away with the romantic aspects and i lost interest. The introduction of new creatures was cool but it got sorta filler-y :/

My sister told me Lafayette was supposed to die in the first season, according to the books. I probably would've been hard pressed to watch the show after that because he's a complete riot and totally makes the show worth watching for me.

Love you already!!! Best way to pass the commute! As Fangirly as this sounds - I love New York! I've only been once, with a huge group of my students, but it was the best band trip ever.

Hooray!! Oh, awesome, band trip! I figure you must've gone to all of the big tourist areas, like Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall? I'm literally a block down from Rockefeller Center. Across the street from Saks Fifth Avenue. I work at the dead center of everything. It's a fun city to be in, and best of all, you can go all over it for a grand total of $2.50. I love this place. whee

Emperor of Ruin
Exactly! I have one tower that keeps growing and I honestly wonder when it's going to fall over and crush me in my sleep. I really need a good shelving unit and to downsize my book collection. gonk

I've had so many book avalanches wake me up that it's not even funny anymore. Luckily I've escaped unscathed, but the towers in the living room could do some serious damage.
Downsizing books is literally the hardest thing I've ever done. I can get rid of anything else without a second thought, but when it comes to books, all I can think of is "what if I want to read it again?". gonk I even keep books that have fallen apart.

We did go to all the touristy places. Spent some time at the Rockefeller Center. Didn't make it to Saks because some of the kids spotted the cathedral and made a b-line for the big old church! heehee. it was so funny. I work at a catholic school called St. Patrick High School so when they found out it was St. Patrick Cathedral it was like the place to go. We also really liked the Highline Park way. I think that's what it was called. And they world trade site. We saw a show and we did a bunch of tours and spent an afternoon at the museum. It was a really awesome trip. We had great tour guides and everyone that stopped us to help us find our way were so nice. It's hard not to love New York when you have such a great experience there.

Hey I'm Ash~

Thank you so much for the invitation! (I was actually going to start a guild if I couldn't find one haha I would've sucked)

I'm 19 and currently a student trying to get into mortuary science. I sew, craft, knit, and cosplay(i'm trying ><) I love books, mythology, fanfiction, movies, Studio Ghilbi, tumblr fandoms, and anime/ manga.

I have watched the show (ugh the tears I have cried), the movies, and I'm starting to read Hannibal by: Thomas Harris.

Hope to get along with all of you!~

MY BROWN COAT SISTER!! *GLOMP*

AHHH!! A FELLOW BROWNCOAT!! *swoon*
I've only met a couple on gaia lol
I haven't met any on here... well only one actually! There are so few brown coats crying

And you also like Sherlock, I can see, and doctor who, and supernatural... You are officially more awesome then I can count *glomp* you probably don't support Johnlock though emo

As long as the fans have love we will keep flying!
You love all those shows too? You are perf. Just perf.
DUDE. Johnlock is my OTP emotion_bigheart

I fail at being a New Yorker. I still haven't gone to the Highline Park, but I hear it's THE place to be for fireworks on the 4th. It's nice and high up and you have nothing obstructing your view. Yeah, I hear a lot of people say that New Yorkers are really nice. I know I really try to be; I just hope people understand that we're often in a hurry, so I hope that we don't come off as rude. gonk

We got to spend part of a day on the Highline and it was so beautiful. The little gems you find anywhere you go. One of our tour guides told us that was his favourite place to go so we had to check it out. New York is such a fast paced city. We are from a small little northern canadian town so it was overwhelming and I think the New Yorkers saw that in us because we never had to stop anyone, people who saw us stopped to help us even if they were in a hurry. It was so nice.
