Kiyaka Mayazaki Theme song It's not that I don't like you... The principal collapsed into her chair, opening her drawer and taking out a small glass and a large bottle of what looked to be some sort of alcoholic beverage. "I hate kids," she grumbled, checking her watch as she poured herself something to drink. "I mean it, I really do. I've never liked them .Even as a kid, I hated the other kids. When I was allowed to choose my age, I didn't hesitate to pick my twenties, because, no surprise, I hate those damn brats." Once she had a little alcohol in her system, Kiyaka was finally able to force her headache away. "My watch is off, what time is it?" ...it's just that you're in my way. OOC: Dantes_river Thank you! "Ein am very sure they're older than they appear." Fields chuckled as he drank some of his drink, enjoying the sight of a defeated Kiyaka. Hearing her question, Fields glanced at his watch. "Ten after six." he said and looked at her. "If he isn't here by six-thirty, I leave."

Kiyaka Mayazaki Theme song It's not that I don't like you... "Hold your f**king horses," she grunted, smoothing her hair back. "If he's not here by then, he's probably not coming. Honestly, if he's really that late, I'll destroy him. I can't stand people that are late." She swallowed back another glass of what smelled like scotch, then poured herself another one. "You know the worst part about my blood? It processes toxins too fast for me to get drunk. So, I'm like a female Captain America who does everything for only personal gain. Funny, innit?" She swigged the rest of her glass, pouring another. "Why'd you care about Melody anyway? She was annoying, brash, rude, promiscuous. You proclaimed to loathe her. And yet, you cried about news of her supposed death." Before he could answer, a haggard and obscenely tall teen with red hair and white gloves ran in, panting heavily. "I-I'm so sorry, M-Madam. I w-was... distracted." "And late," she replied cooly, motioning to Fields. "Dr. Fields, this is Einar Grimsson, the necromancer. He will be searching for Miss Shell. Please, stand and take his hand. He will need to borrow your connection to her to find her." ...it's just that you're in my way. OOC:

Fields just fixed her with a bemused look. "Ein think this process of yours is reversed. You already act like un angry drunk." he commented bluntly, having lost the threat she held over him when the two men earlier verbally ripped her apart. Yes, he'd be sure to give them a visit in gratitude before nighttime. Listening to her talk about the teacher, the doctor sighed and rolled his eyes. "All of those things are true, und ein still hate her vith every fiber of mein being, but she may have died because she vas obsessed vith me. Guilt is un very heavy burden." he said and looked away. He hated everyone, the teachers, this idiot of a principal, those two boys from earlier, even himself. Except... Fields lowered his eyelids. That necromancer kid wasn't coming, he should hurry back home to him. The longer he stayed here and left that kid with the demon, the more anxious he got. Finally, the door opened and the doctor looked over at the tall mess of a boy. This was the necromancer? The almighty sorcerer that decided who would stay dead or not? He was nothing but a kid! It didn't matter, though. He had to get back home. Turning, Fields strode over to the boy and gripped his hand without saying a word.

Kiyaka Mayazaki Theme song It's not that I don't like you... But Grim pulled his hand from the doctor's. "I know you're eager to see if she's dead and if you can release your guilt, but you need to wait." Grim tugged off his gloves, revealing blackened, burned hands. He took both of Fields' hands, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath. He stood that way for three minutes until the room bursted with light. "Melody," he called, his voice echoing. "Melody, can you hear me? If you can, I need you to come to Black Rose and show us yourself." Suddenly, another voice appeared. "I can't." "Why not?" "Because... it hasn't happened yet. My death is still coming." "But I can hear you. How are you not dead?" "My death will be soon... and painful. I want nothing from anyone, only peace. And tell Fields that I always knew he was gay." Just like that, the voice was gone, and the light died down. Einar released Fields as if he was poisonous and backed away. "Huh. She's... angry. She's dying, and furious. Not unusual, but still, powerful." Kiyaka bowed her head and walked over to the door. "Get out, both of you," she commanded softly, looking up to Fields. "You're officially out of the case. An officer will be by your apartment to gather a last statement, then you'll find out what happened to her just like everyone else from the news. Just get the hell out of my office." ...it's just that you're in my way. OOC:

The doctor leaned back when he looked at the blackened hands, disgusted. He was hesitant to touch such a disgusting limb, but didn't have much say in the matter. He hesitated when he heard the familiar voice and glanced around as if she were somewhere in the room. His antics froze when he heard her comment over his sexuality, making him look straight at the joined hands. "Vhat did you say?" he hissed, tightening his grip on the boy's hand. "How dare you call me such things!" he growled, but the voice had left and the hands disconnected. He clenched his fists and glared at Kiyaka when they were ordered to leave. He didn't need to be told twice. The doctor stormed out, the door slamming behind him.

Kanin xXxXx“She has no one but her own idiocy to blame, you know... I could give her a less painful death, a far more peaceful one at that. It comes at a price, but it's possible,” Kanin's voice muttered before he seemed to form back up only this time with his arms crossed over his chest as he leaned back against the door, his right foot placed flat against the door. In front of him and where his gaze remained focused was a fuchsia colored flame that appeared to be dying out. Raising his gaze back up to Kiyaka, his fingers tapped against his upper arm a few times before he let out a soft sigh. "It's irritating how he just wanted to ask her a question and she opted to try chasing down a fantasy that never even stood a chance. It's not like we can just give out all the answers to people and she ends up helping one of the students here feel like death is his only option. Everything comes with a repercussion and since she didn't take the time to think it through, perhaps I'll just sit nearby and watch her die her painful death. That always sounds fun. Your thoughts, Madame?"

Kiyaka Mayazaki Theme song It's not that I don't like you... Kiyaka barely looked up at the man, opting to chug back more of her whiskey. "Who asked you, anyway?" she spat, raising her head to glare at him. "Such a beautiful girl, so sweet, so full of potential. And now, she's going to die and... and he doesn't even care. And you know what the worst part of it all is?" She lifted the half empty bottle and closed it, tossing it into her drawer. "My body's metabolism is so fast, I can't even get drunk!" Leaning back, she crossed her arms behind her head and stared at the male. "What do you want with me, brat? This is your second time coming in to bother me." ...it's just that you're in my way. OOC:

Kanin xXxXx“Attention span of a gnat,” Kanin muttered while briefly pinching the bridge of his nose. Stupid alcoholic bimbini couldn't listen to save her own life. Padding over to the seat he'd occupied earlier, he flopped back into it before lifting one foot and dropping it heavily upon her desk. He then repeated this movement with the opposite foot yet never uncrossed his arms once. "Death, my dear, is a natural part of life and cannot be changed. It can, however, be postponed or fastforwarded. This means the death of a person can be slowed down, adding to their pain and suffering, or sped up to where there won't be such a horrific death creeping slowly into their veins - there won't be pain in these kinds of deaths. She told you her death would be slow and it will be. .. Or I could always kill her quick and lessen the pain and suffering along with a quick swipe of the memories of her time with the doctor. She ends up becoming a ghost and haunting him because she was stupid enough to wear her heart on her sleeve, I'm gonna get pissed 'cause I already have too many wayward spirits and earthbound souls to retrieve as is. I just want to send herro purgatory and continue about my business. Since you're oh so attached to her, I'm leaving this decision up to you; pay any price I ask, and I'm not talking bow-chicka-wow-wow or material things, and I'll lessen her painfully slow death to one of a faster death. Refuse my very generous offer for trade, and I will still collect her spirit, agony and all, and throw her into purgatory where she'll more than likely stay for many, many years paying for her s-ins. I just thought I'd lay a few generous and kindhearted cards on the table for you to decide upon. That little fuchsia flame flickering by my head, just so you know, is her lifeline that is left in this world. This is part of my job description albeit I'm not supposed to do it for everyone and blah blah blah. Either way, you're one of the lucky few who gets this once in ten lifetimes opportunity of letting someone you're close to, probably in some noncommittal lesbian love story albeit I'm not saying that's it, die peacefully instead of in agonizing pain like she is supposed to. Quite literally, this will be the only time I give you such an offer so yeah." Flashing a brief flicker of a dark, mischievous smile, his left foot started a slight rocking motion like that of a pendulum in an old grandfather clock as he waited for this adult woman to understand and either accept or deny his offer. This was his only offer, however, to this woman as he didn't really like her attitude. Then again, she didn't really like him so the feelings were mutual.

Kiyaka Mayazaki Theme song It's not that I don't like you... The principal snorted at his words. "I'm not a lesbian. Melody's gorgeous, but I love men. She's more like a sister to me." Lifting another bottle of what looked to be vodka, Kiyaka pulled out two crystal glasses and filled them, taking one and sipping with a wince. "I can't choose her death for her. The girl still has a chance of living, and I won't stand in her way. She would hate me for eternity if I interfered in her life. Besides, she's in love again. Don't know if you could hear it, but she had that tone in her voice that she never had with Adler." The beautiful woman stood and carried her glass to the couch, sitting on one of the arms and keeping her eyes on Kanin. "Why would you offer me this, anyway?" she asked, her voice softening considerably. "I mean, you hate me. There's nothing in this for you: not money, not sex, as far as I know, not fame. Nothing. What's bringing on such... generosity?" ...it's just that you're in my way. OOC:

Kanin xXxXxInstead of watching the female as she spoke, the male's eyes remained focused on the fuchsia flame seeming to slowly die out as it hovered in front of him. "Yeah... I was being sarcastic about the noncommittal lesbian thing. Anyhoo, I cannot tell you anything that relates to these deals unless you agree and even then I cannot tell you what I intend to do with the prices paid. And I'm not speaking about how she lives her life, but her death. Hell, the memory swipe thing is just a precaution we take as a means of letting souls rest in peace, that is if it doesn't interfere with their given task in this world. That is something we cannot intervene with. Besides that, she'd never know about this deal between us as she doesn't even know we're speaking," he responded with a soft sigh as he uncrossed his arms just so he could begin tapping his fingertips together. His patience, something he had little of, was definitely wearing thin quickly albeit he showed no signs of it other than the tapping of his fingers and pendulum motion of his foot.
xXxXx"Well, I've given you the choices and whether you prefer your sisterly being dying a horrible death or a kinder, quicker death is up to you. These offers are rare, especially from me, so be glad I even considered your irritating arse as one to ask. You refuse, of course, and you'll never remember the offer, but still. I figured I'd offer it to you since your attachment to her seems stronger than most others and this lifetime will be erased when she gets sent back to this plane of existence. People still have flashbacks of their past lives, yes, and some spirits get skipped accidentally on the erasing of their past lives, but most won't remember all of the dirty details. Is that clearer for you or do I need to clarify this more?" With that asked, his figure seemed to jump from the chair to the couch a few feet away from the principal. His fiery reddish-purple gaze hinted with shades of blue had finally shifted from the flame still flickering in front of him to the woman with what seemed like a slightly less irritated and bored but more of a gentle and comforting feel to it. No one needed to know he had a soft side, or at least no one right yet needed to know that.

Mayah Playah Kiyaka Mayazaki Theme song It's not that I don't like you... She looked up at him, then crossed her arms and hugged herself, bowing her head and staring at the ground. "It isn't in my nature to be kind," she said softly before looking back to him. "I love her, Kanin. I really do. But I can't end her life on my own terms. I can't... I can't do that." She moved to sit beside him, finding herself shorter than him with irritated ease. "Considering what I am, I can't be nice to anyone for any reason, even if for their death. Thank for the consideration though." Giving him a genuine smile, the principal stood and cocked her hip to the side. "You know, I'm hungry. Come and get lunch with me. I'll pay." ...it's just that you're in my way. OOC:

Kanin xXxXxNodding slightly at her words Asti made sense, he couldn't help but to snicker at her excuse. And people that he had a lame excuse for being so negative? Ha! As she offered him lunch, however, he raised an eyebrow. Didn't she just say kindness wasn't in her nature? And no he was back to laughing lightly to himself.
xXxXx"Sure, I guess. It's not like there's much to do and you've made your decision. Cres is doing something else anyways and if I damage another soul by going solo, Grim's gonna be super pissy again," Kanin responded cooly as he stood up and shoved his hands in his pockets. What kind of jackass would he be if he didn't accept a free meal when it presented itself?

Kanin xXxXx"As old as you need me to be. Kidding. Um... Legal human drinking age... I think? I dunno. Somewhere around that general area," Kanin answered after a couple of minutes hesitation. This was soon followed by a brief shrug as if he honestly hadn't kept track of his age. Briefly raising his left wrist up, he pursed his lips only to give yet another shrug and shove his hand back into his pocket. "Eh, if I get any bitching, moaning or complaining about looking too young, I can always make them look stupid by pointing out they've been selling alcohol to a thirteen-year-old kid who does odd jobs from sniping people to finding lost cats. Lead the way." And with that said, he opened the office door with one foot holding it in place so the woman could exit first. Just because he had a bad attitude didn't mean he couldn't show some of the manners Cres had been trying to shove down his throat.
